Fuzzy-PID 제어기를 이용한 차량의 정속주행 시뮬레이션 (Simulation for Intelligent Cruise Control of vehicle using Fuzzy-PID Controller)

  • 본 논문은 차량의 엔진을 컴퓨터를 이용하여 모델링하고, 이를 본 논문에서 설계한 Fuzzy-PID 제어기로 성능을 평가하는 것으로서, 차량의 정속주행 특성을 Fuzzy-PID제어기를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 한다. 차량의 엔진모델은 MATLAB-Simulink를 이용하여 설계하고, PID의 각 파라메터값은 Fuzzy 제어기를 이용하여 자동 추정하는 형태로 구성한다. 차량의 시뮬레이션은 직선주로상에서 이루어지고, 이를 퍼지 제어기, 그리고 PID 제어기와 비교 분석해 보았다.

Fuzzy-sliding mode control of a full car semi-active suspension systems with MR dampers

  • A fuzzy-sliding mode controller is presented to control the dynamics of semi-active suspension systems of vehicles using magneto-rheological (MR) fluid dampers. A full car model is used to design and evaluate the performance of the proposed semi-active controlled suspension system. Four mixed mode MR dampers are designed, manufactured, and integrated with four independent sliding mode controllers. The siding mode controller is designed to decrease the energy consumption and maintain robustness. In order to overcome the chattering of the sliding mode controllers, a fuzzy logic control strategy is merged into the sliding mode controller. The proposed fuzzy-sliding mode controller is designed and fabricated. The performance of the semi-active suspensions is evaluated in both the time and frequency domains. The obtained results demonstrate that the proposed fuzzy-sliding mode controller can effectively suppress the vibration of vehicles and improve their ride comfort and handling stability. Furthermore, it is shown that the "chattering" of the sliding mode controller is smoothed when it is integrated with a fuzzy logic control strategy. Although the cost function of the fuzzy-sliding mode control is a slightly higher than that of a classical LQR controller, the control effectiveness and robustness are enhanced considerably.

  • The important problem in designing a Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) is generation of fuzzy control rules and it is usually the case that they are given by human experts of the problem domain. However, it is difficult to find an well-trained expert to any given problem. In this paper, I describes an application of genetic algorithm, a well-known global search algorithm to automatic generation of fuzzy control rules for FLC design. Fuzzy rules are automatically generated by evolving initially given fuzzy rules and membership functions associated fuzzy linguistic terms. Using genetic algorithm efficient fuzzy rules can be generated without any prior knowledge about the domain problem. In addition expert knowledge can be easily incorporated into rule generation for performance enhancement. We experimented genetic algorithm with a non-trivial vehicle controling problem. Our experimental results showed that genetic algorithm is efficient for designing any complex control system and the resulting system is robust.

  • In this paper, we present a fuzzy-sliding controller design using genetic algorithm. We can suppress chattering and enhance the robustness of controlled system by using this controller and do that genetic algorithm can easily find out a nearly optimal fuzzy rule performance of this controller is tested by simulation of car system with two pole.

  • 퍼지 논리 제어기(FLC : Fuzzy Logic Controller)를 사용할 때, 가장 중요한 것은 소속 함수의 범위를 정하는 것과 규칙의 형태를 결정하는 것이다. 소속 함수의 범위나 규칙의 형태는 자금까지 전문가가 임의로 정하는 방법을 사용하였다. 그러나 기존의 방법을 사용하면, 전문가의 주관적인 규칙과 소속 함수가 생성될 수 있고, 소속함수의 경우 최적의 범위를 정확히 예측하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 단점을 보완하기 위해, 유전자 알고리즘을 사용함으로써 최적의 소속 함수와 규칙의 형태를 구하려 하였다. 제시하는 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 자동차 주행 제어 문제에 적용시켜 보았다.

퍼지제어기를 이용한 자율주차시스템 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Designing Autonomous Parking Assistance using Fuzzy Controller)

  • Recently, the performance and function of electrical and electronic system in automotive vehicles is developing at a rapid rate with the advancement of IT technologies. Combined together with micro-controller and sensor technologies, the Vehicle Smart System (VSS) being developed to improve driver's convenience and comfort has been employed to a variety of applications. In addition to the convenience system, the Auto-parking Assistance System (AAS) that is now attracting a new attention has been already applied to some vehicles, but it is currently limited to luxury car models only. In this paper, we present a fuzzy controller that enables autonomous parking assistance without the AAS. The controller can perform the assistance with information provided from moving status, current position and steering angle as one is able to park a car based on his/her experience and knowledge for driving and parking. We have evaluated its performance of the proposed controller by simulation and tested the excellence of the controller by building a model vehicle embedded with the micro-controllers.

  • A semi-active suspension system for a vehicle using an Electrorheological Fluid damper has been studied. Apparent viscosity of ERF(Electrorheological Fluid) can be changed rapidly by applying electric field. The damping force of ER damper can be selectively controlled by employing electric field to the ER fluid domain. This paper deals with a two-degree-of-freedom suspension using the ER damper for a quarter car model. An intelligent control method using fuzzy control with genetic algorithm has been employed to control the damping force of the ER damper. The GA designs the optimal structure and performance of Fuzzy Net Controller having hybrid structure. The designed fuzzy net controller has been compared with the skyhook type controller for a quarter car model. The computer simulation results show that the semi-active suspension with ER damper has a good performance in the sense of ride quality with less vibration for ground vehicle.

  • In this study an ANFIS-based trajectory tracking motion control algorithm is proposed for autonomous garage and parallel parking of a model car. The ANFIS controller is trained off-line using data set which obtained by Mandani fuzzy inference system and thereby the processing time decreases almost in half. The controller with a steering delay compensator is tuned through simulations performed under MATLAB/Simulink environment. Experiments are carried out with the model car for garage and parallel parking. The experimental results show that the trajectory tracking performance is satisfactory under various initial and road conditions

  • This paper presents fuzzy control rules for automatically driving a model car. The model car has a two sensors. This sensors measure a road outline and get a distance between a model car and a road outline. A Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) bases on a knowledge of the human experience. A FLC designed successfully controls the model car. Simulations results verifies the validity of proposed algorithm.

The Medical Bed System for Preventing Pressure Ulcer Using the Two-Stage Control

  • The main cause of ulcer is pressure, which starts to develop when the critical body pressure (32mmHg) is exceeded, and when the critical time elapses, ulcer occurs. In this study, the keyboard mechanism of the medical bed with 4 bar links was adopted, and each key can be controlled vertically. A key has one servo drive and one sensor controller which hasseveral body pressure sensors. The sensor controllers and the servo drives are connected to the main controller by two CAN (Car Are Network) in series, respectively. By reading the maximum body pressure value of each keyboard sensor, and by calculating the error value based on the critical body pressure, the fuzzy controller moves each key so that the total error becomes zero. If the fuzzy controller fails, then it prevents ulcer by lifting and lowering the keys of the bed alternatively within a short time. Thus, the controller operates in two-stage. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed approach have been verified through experiments.
