AGGREGATION OPERATORS OF CUBIC PICTURE FUZZY QUANTITIES AND THEIR APPLICATION IN DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS

  • The paper aim is to resolve the issue of ranking to the fuzzy numbers in decision analysis, artificial intelligence and optimization. In the literature lot of ideologies have been established for ranking to the fuzzy numbers, that ideologies have some restrictions and limitations. In this paper, we proposed a method based on cubic picture fuzzy information's, for ranking to defeat the existing restrictions. Further introduced some cubic picture fuzzy algebraic and cubic picture fuzzy algebraic* aggregated operators for aggregated the information. Finally, a multi-attribute decision making problem is assumed as a practical application to establish the appropriateness and suitability of the proposed ranking approach.

  • In this paper, the fuzzy group method data handling-type(GMDH) neural networks and their application to the forecasting of mobile communication system are described. At present, GMDH family of modeling algorithms discovers the structure of empirical models and it gives only the way to get the most accurate identification and demand forecasts in case of noised and short input sampling. In distinction to neural networks, the results are explicit mathematical models, obtained in a relative short time. In this paper, an adaptive learning network is proposed as a kind of neuro-fuzzy GMDH. The proposed method can be reinterpreted as a multi-stage fuzzy decision rule which is called as the neuro-fuzzy GMDH. The GMDH-type neural networks have several advantages compared with conventional multi-layered GMDH models. Therefore, many types of nonlinear systems can be automatically modeled by using the neuro-fuzzy GMDH. The computer program is developed and successful applications are shown in the field of estimating problem of mobile communication with the number of factors considered.

An Optimized Multiple Fuzzy Membership Functions based Image Contrast Enhancement Technique

  • Image enhancement is an emerging method for analyzing the images clearer for interpretation and analysis in the spatial domain. The goal of image enhancement is to serve an input image so that the resultant image is more suited to the particular application. In this paper, a novel method is proposed based on Mamdani fuzzy inference system (FIS) using multiple fuzzy membership functions. It is observed that the shape of membership function while converting the input image into the fuzzy domain is the essential important selection. Then, a set of fuzzy If-Then rule base in fuzzy domain gives the best result in image contrast enhancement. Based on a different combination of membership function shapes, a best predictive solution can be determined which can be suitable for different types of the input image as per application requirements. Our result analysis shows that the quality attributes such as PSNR, Index of Fuzziness (IOF) parameters give different performances with a selection of numbers and different sized membership function in the fuzzy domain. To get more insight, an optimization algorithm is proposed to identify the best combination of the fuzzy membership function for best image contrast enhancement.

퍼지 클러스터링 기반 퍼지뉴럴네트워크 설계 및 적용 (Design of Fuzzy Neural Networks Based on Fuzzy Clustering and Its Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘을 기반으로 하는 퍼지뉴럴네트워크를 제안한다. 일반적으로, 퍼지규칙을 생성할 때 차원이 증가하면 퍼지 규칙의 수가 기하급수적으로 증가하는 문제를 가지고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 제안된 네트워크의 퍼지 규칙은 FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘을 이용하여 입력 공간을 분산 형태로 분할함으로써 생성한다. 퍼지 규칙의 전반부 파라미터는 FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘에 의한 소속행렬로 결정된다. 퍼지 규칙의 후반부는 다항식 함수의 형태로 표현되며, 퍼지뉴럴네트워크의 학습은 뉴런의 연결을 조절함으로써 실현되고, 오류 역전파 알고리즘에 의해 행해진다. 마지막으로, 제안된 네트워크는 비선형 공정으로의 적용을 통해 성능을 평가한다.

  • In the first part an overview on fuzzy sets and fuzzy numbers is given. A detailed treatment of these notions is introduced in [1,2,3]. This sintetically presentation is useful in understanding and in developping the applications in context problems. In the second part, fuzzy context model is given as an application of fuzzy sets and the fuzzy equilibrium equation is solved [4,5].

  • 전형적인 정성적 퍼지형태의 입력데이타를 가진, 주어진 사고진행사건수목의 일부분에 대하여 퍼지집합이론(fuzzy set theory)의 응용 예를 먼저 보여주고, 이 예를 통해서 퍼지집합이론을 사고 진행사건수목에 적용하기 위해 적절한 계산알고리즘을 찾아내고 또 예를 들어 설명하였다. 그리고, 간단한 예제에 사용한 계산절차를 많은 현상학적 불확실성 인자를 포함한 아주 복잡한 사고진행사건수목 즉, 최근 Zion 발전소 위험도평가(PRA)에 사용된 전형적인 발전소 손상군의 하나인‘SEC’에 응용해서 적용하였다. 퍼지집합이론으로 평가한 계산값들의 퍼지평균치들은 최근 통계적 PRA 평가 방법론으로 얻는 값들의 평균치와 거의 같은 결과를 보여주고 있다. 본 논문의 주요목적은 부정확하고 또 정성적인 분기점확률이나 또는 많은 현상학적 불확실성 인자들을 가진 사고진행사건수목들에 이 퍼지집합이론을 적용하기 위한 공식적 계산절차를 제공하는데 있다.

  • In this paper, an Adaptive neuro-fuzzy Inference system(ANFIS) using fuzzy min-max network(FMMN) is proposed. Fuzzy min-max network classifier that utilizes fuzzy sets as pattern classes is described. Each fuzzy set is an aggregation of fuzzy set hyperboxes. Here, the proposed method transforms the hyperboxes into gaussian menbership functions, where the transformed membership functions are inserted for generating fuzzy rules of ANFIS. Finally, we applied the proposed method to the classification problem of iris data and obtained a better performance than previous works.

  • This paper deals with our proposed fuzzy inference method, in which the fuzzy relation is represented by the membership functions of the antecedent and consequent parts, it is not used any fuzzy composition. The strong point of this method is that the membership function of an inferred conclusion has a simple shape and thus its meaning can be interpreted easily. Firstly, the proposed method is explained, and then it is applied to fuzzy modeling of distributed data.

  • Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the regularity of block triangular fuzzy matrices. This leads to characterization of idem-potency of a class of triangular Toeplitz matrices. As an application, the existence of group inverse of a block triangular fuzzy matrix is discussed. Equivalent conditions for a regular block triangular fuzzy matrix to be expressed as a sum of regular block fuzzy matrices is derived. Further, fuzzy relational equations consistency is studied.

  • This paper presents an approach to self-tuning PI control of dynamic plants, based on fuzzy logic application. A fuzzy logic composed of linguistic conditional statements is employed by defining the relations of input-output variables of the controller. In the synthesis of a fuzzy logic controller, one of the most difficult problem is the selection of linguistic control rules and parameters. To overcome this difficulty, self-tuning fuzzy PI controller (STFPIC) with a hierarchical structure in which the fuzzy PI controller is assigned as the lower level and the rule modification and parameter adjustment as the higher level. The rules and parameters are generated by the adjustment of membership function through performance index(PE). In this paper, the algorithm for of the controller performance is estimated by means of computer simulation.
