This paper surveyed the development and future of electronic journals. The growing and impact of electronic publishing, developments and access of electronic journals, and the future of electronic journals were examined in detail, and remaining problems were analyzed. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows : 1. The future of electronic journals is not an issue of technology it is an issue of economics and social policy. And, the cost of delivering an electronic version to end-users were more expensive. 2. More sophisticated markup software and display software system are needed for fully structured text versions of articles. 3. Coordination of effort is essential in order that we maximize the end-users access requirements against resonable protection for the intellecture effort of the scholarly writer. 4. The success of an electronic journals will depend on the improved communication and cooperation between libraries, users, author, publishers, and information technology specialists. The advent of electronic information delivery has brought with it these issues to be solved. And development in the delivery of scholarly information by electronic means will accelerate.

최근 도서관의 모습은 그 어느 때보다도 극적으로 변화하고 있으며 이러한 변화의 한 가운데는 도서관의 공간적 요소가 큰 부분을 차지하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 외 조도 관련 선행연구 분석 및 실측 조사 그리고 각국의 조도 관련 기준을 비교하여 도서관의 조도 기준의 개선 방향의 기준을 마련하고 도서관의 학습 및 열람공간과 전반적인 이용자 공간의 더 나은 조도 환경을 구축하기 위한 조도 개선점을 제안하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 대전광역시 공공도서관 중 14개의 도서관을 대상으로 조도 측정 후 이용자들의 인식을 조사하였다. 마지막으로 국내외 조도기준에 대한 비교를 통해 앞으로 국내 조도규격이 개선되어야 할 점을 살펴보았다. 분석결과 현재 국내의 조도관련 기준은 시대에 맞게, 그리고 각 국가의 사례를 바탕으로 보완해야 할 필요성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이용자의 연령층에 따른 차별화와 조도에 대한 중요성 인식이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 향후 도서관의 전반적인 조도개선과 조명 관리에 대한 관심을 불러일으키는 기초연구가 될 것으로 기대되며 국외 권장 조도의 개정 동향에 맞게 국내 조도규격에 대한 개정과 추후 도서관 조도에 대한 지속적인 연구를 바탕으로 관심이 지속된다면 국내 공공도서관 조명 개선에 큰 힘이 될 것으로 예상된다.

이 연구는 최근 어린이독서에 대한 관심과 함께 어린이도서관이 급증하고 있지만 여기에 대한 실태분석은 물론 어린이도서관을 위한 표준분류표가 제정되지 않아 도서관 실무자들과 이용자들이 많은 어려움과 불편을 감수하고 있는 현실을 생각하여, 향후 어린이도서관 전용 분류표 개발 시에 고려해야 할 기본원칙과 요건을 제안하고자 시도되었다. 이를 위해 국내 어린이도서관의 실태와 어린이도서의 특성을 분석한 후, 공립 인표어린이도서관, 기적의 도서관, 사립어린이도서관으로 대별하여 분류체계 사용현황을 살펴보았으며, 대표적인 어린이도서관 분류표인 느티나무도서관 분류표와 파랑새도서관 분류표에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 어린이도서관 전용 분류표 개발을 위한 기본사항을 제안하였다.

Korean university libraries are increasing their library collection each year according to the standard set by the Ministry of Education. The standard states that all the university libraries are required to keep 3 books for newly enrolling students, 30 books for each enrolled student and 5, 000 books for each department. The increasing number of the university library collection brings many problems in the libraries. 1. The size of the library collection is not related to the satisfaction of the library user's requests. The satisfaction is usually related to number of the new publications received in the library. Z. The Korean publication is limited to a small number. It could not meet the university standard. Therefore, the number is filled with the foreign publications. But the use of them is not frequent. Even the number of the domestic and foreign new publications together could not meet all the requests of the university library users. Only cooperation with other libraries will be able to meet most of the diversified requests. 3. Most of the present library collection are not likely to be used in the future and they should be eventually discarded. Present library administration put too much emphasis on the size of library collection and only the aquisition of the material is main concern of the university librarians. They need to consider other factors in the aquistion of the library collection. They should make their collection development in accordance with user's requests in addition to meet the university standard.

교수-학습의 새로운 패러다임의 변화는 교사와 학생들의 역할에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 가르치는 교사에서 안내자로, 경청하는 학생에서 적극적인 참석자로, 기억을중요시하기보다는새로운지식을창조하고, 교과서에 포함된 기본적인 정보에서 보다 다양한 인쇄매체와 전자정보원에서 새로운 정보를 수집하고 발견하며, 사실중심교육에서 문제해결중심교육으로 지향하고 있다. 이와 같은 현상에서 오늘날의 학교교육은 교실중심교육에서 연장된 학교도서관지원교육으로 변화하는 과정에 이르게 되었다. 새롭게 학교교육을 쇄신하고 개혁하는 운동을 실현시키기 위하여 훌륭한 학교도서관 프로그램을 활용한다는 것은 값진 방법이며 수단인 것이다. 학교도서관에서 교수-학습을 지원하는 프로그램운영의 원리를 알아본 다음, 우리나라 학교도서관에서 현재 실현되고 있는 정도와 미래지향적이며 희망적인 프로그램정도에 대하여 조사하였다. 프로그램의 현재 실현정도와 미래희망정도와는 13개 문항 모두가 유의한 차이를 보였으며 특히 교과과정과 관련된 문항의 현재 실현수준은 낮게 나타났다.

본 연구는 메타버스 플랫폼에서 진행했던 문화프로그램 운영사례들의 주요한 특징을 살펴보았다. 그리고 공공도서관 문화프로그램 담당사서를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하여 문화프로그램 유형별 메타버스 플랫폼의 활용가능성에 대해 의견을 수렴하였다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 공공도서관에서 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용하여 문화프로그램을 기획·운영할 때 활용할 수 있는 가이드라인을 제시하고자 하였다. 조사결과 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 문화프로그램은 견학, 교육, 독서, 전시, 공연, 게임, 이벤트로 총 7가지로 나타났다. 공공도서관 문화프로그램 담당사서들은 견학, 전시, 게임, 이벤트에 대한 향후 활용성에 긍정적인 답변을 보였다. 교육은 문화프로그램의 성격에 따라 활용이 가능하지만, 독서와 공연은 향후 활용성이 떨어질 것이라는 답변을 보였다. 메타버스 플랫폼 활용 방안으로는 견학 문화프로그램은 제페토, 교육과 전시, 게임, 이벤트 문화프로그램은 게더타운과 젭의 활용성이 높게 나타났다.

Social networking services that connect a person to other people are attracting people's attention and various types of services are provided on the Internet. Library has been playing a role of social media by providing us with materials such as books and magazines, and with a place for reading, studying, getting lectures, etc. In this paper, we present a method for finding candidates of groups of the library's patrons who share interest areas by utilizing the loan records, which are obtainable in every library. Such a homogeneous group can become a candidate for a study group, a community for exchange ideas, and other activity group. We apply the method to a collection of loan records of a university library, find some problems to be solved, and propose measures for more detailed solutions. Even though the potential group finding problem still remains a lot of issues to be solved, its potential importance is very high and thus to be studies even more for future applications.

본 연구는 공공도서관의 위탁경영과 관련된 현상과 과제를 조사 분석하여 핵심적 문화기반시설인 공공도서관의 경영을 활성화하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 공공도서관의 주요한 사항들을 고찰하고 있다. 첫째, 공공도서관 위탁경영의 논리적 근거가 되는 배경과 추이를 살펴보고, 둘째, 공공도서관 위탁경영의 현상과 문제점을 분석하고, 셋째, 이를 통해 향후 바람직한 공공도서관 위탁경영의 개선방안 등을 제시하고 있다.

이 연구는 한국 공공도서관 운동의 역사를 총체적인 시각으로 정리하고 해석하였다. 공공도서관이 우리 사회의 지식정보의 공공성과 평등성을 위한 실제적인 대안임을 규명하고, 공공도서관을 중심으로 하는 지식과 정보의 공유를 실현하기 위한 사회운동의 방향을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 한국문헌정보학분야의 연구동향을 규명하고 학문의 연구영역과 타 학문과의 주제 의존도 및 문헌정보학의 지적구조 변화를 조사하였다. 인용패턴을 이용한 계량적 방법을 이용, 연구의 동향과 변화를 대응분석 방법을 적용하였다. 조사결과 문헌정보학을 비롯한 정보학분야에 대한 의존도가 크게 나타났으며, 학문의 이론 및 응용기법의 활용도가 높은 컴퓨터 관련 전산학이 부상될 것으로 예상된다.
