이 연구는 우리나라 대학도서관과 관련된 정책의 수립과정과 정책 수립과정에서 채택된 정책과제의 변화 추이를 통해 미래 대학도서관의 합리적 정책방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 2009 발전종합계획은 대학도서관 정보자원 수집을 위한 지원을 목적으로 수립하였고, 2014에 수립한 계획은 대학연구력경쟁을 위한 사서역할 제고에 정책의 방향성을 두고 수립하였다. 2019년 진흥종합계획은 대학연구지원의 고도화를 위한 대학도서관의 역할 강화를 정책 목적으로 하였다. 이러한 정부의 대학도서관 정책에 대한 연구를 통해 우리나라 미래 대학도서관의 정책방향을 제시하고, 대학도서관이 대학의 연구생산력을 극대화 할 수 있도록 제도화된 플랫폼(인력, 물리적 공간, 재원 등)을 제공하고자 하였다.

The 7th National Curriculum requires the part of a school library for supporting porformance evaluation, optional actives, and extracurricular activities. The school library which is very important part of school education needs support of necessary resources and adequate facilities for performing its functions effectively and efficiently. This reserch is based on the school library for present education to need. And, the objective of this reserch is to grasp the present condition of school library and to show improvement device for planning efficiently the time when school library is designed in future.

New curriculum for information and library science is proposed on the notion of the internship and scholarly characteristics. The future of the information and library science is expected as the discipline to synthesize the natural science and the social science. Especially the internship is strongly suggested as the post graduate program. To draw the conclusion. the history of the information and library science and its educational background are analyzed. The states of the historical developments of the information and library science are explained in terms of philosophy. The functional and scholarly environments of the information and library science are also investigated. Secondarily it concludes that the curriculum development for information and library science is not aimed on the skills but on the phenomena.

Social networking services that connect a person to other people are attracting our attention and various types of on-the-network services are provided. Library has been playing a role of social media by providing with materials such as books and magazines, and with a place for reading, studying, getting lectures, etc. In this paper, we present a method for finding candidates of groups of the library's patrons who share interest areas by utilizing the loan records, which are obtainable by every library. Such a homogeneous group can become a candidate for a study group, a community for exchange ideas, and other activity group. We apply the method to a collection of loan records of a university library, find some problem to be solved, and propose measures for more detailed solutions. Even though the potential group finding problem still remains a lot of problems to be solved, its potential importance is very high and thus to be studies even more for future applications.

This present study purposed to propose a plan of building a future oriented school library that supports teachers' teaching with various multimedia and Internet materials applicable in class immediately, helps students' self directed learning activities, and plays its role as a cultural center of the local community. As for research methods, this study examines the basic directions and characteristics of school libraries defined by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, and investigates the current state of school libraries. In addition, we survey cases of library plans in Incheon, and suggest standards for planning and propose a plan. Ultimately, we establish a library plan for S Elementary School in Incheon and execute the plan and, in the course, derive ideas for satisfying students' demands with regard to their sentiment, stable and flexible layout and flow lines, facilities and space within the library, etc. What is more, we create indexes for library planning so that school libraries can contribute to various cultural activities and the development of local community beyond their functions as school library facilities.

In this study, we constructed a system to operating and manage the resources of the Smart Library Reading Room automatically using the Internet of things. The persistent problem of smart library or unattended library is electric energy waste and efficient seat management. The electricity and seat layout management method of the existing library reading room is being treated as concentrated management in the central system. However, this approach results in wasting electricity and seats do not provide a fair opportunity for each user. In this study, IoT sensor was used to turn off electricity and empty seat for about 20 minutes, so that it could be marked as vacant and managed efficiently, so that opportunities for seats were evenly maintained. In the future, we will improve this and construct a model in the reading room of actual village library or school library, and analyze and reflect the result.

본 연구에서는 도서관의 서비스 품질을 연구한 문헌들을 중심으로, 서비스 품질에 대한 최근 연구를 체계적으로 분석하고, 주요 이슈들과 향후 연구과제를 도출하였다. 구체적으로 서비스 품질 연구를 서비스 품질의 개념 및 특성, 서비스 품질 특성 모델, 서비스 품질의 결과변수, 이용자만족, e-서비스 등으로 나누어 분석하였다. 그리고 도서관 분야의 정보서비스 품질 관련 논문들을 중점적으로 다루고, 이슈별로 해외 주요 연구들도 소개하여 서비스 품질 연구를 종합적으로 고찰하였으며, 아울러 향후 연구되어야 할 이슈들을 분야별로 제시하였다.

오늘날 우리는 유비쿼터스 도서관 시대를 맞이할 준비를 하고 있다. 본고에서는 도서관이 미래에는 어떤 모습이며, 어떻게 발전하는가를 알아보기 위해 디지털 도서관의 발전적 개념을 가지고 있는 하이브리드 도서관, 게이트웨이 도서관, 유비쿼터스 도서관의 개념과 주요 프로젝트에 대하여 고찰하였다. 특히 하이브리드 도서관의 eLib 프로그램과 하버드대학 도서관. 펜주립대학교의 게이트웨이 도서관 프로젝트 및 카네기멜론대학교, 메릴랜드대학교 도서관의 유비쿼터스 도서관 프로젝트를 살펴보았으며, 이를 통해 유비쿼터스 도서관이 가지고 있는 정보서비스의 특징에 대하여 고찰하였다.

광복 후 우리나라 도서관계는 장서의 확충에만 급급하였다. 결과로 20세기 말에 들어와서는 서적을 보존할 공간이 협소하게 되었다. 장서 보존에 있어 중요한 요소의 하나는 자료를 수장할 공간이다. 따라서 도서관계의 중대한 관심사의 하나는 공간문제를 해결하기 위한 보존도서관을 마련하는 것이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 여러 차원의 보존도서관을 설립해야 하는데, 보존이란 '보존' '보호', '복원'의 개념으로 나누어 정의되고 있다. 열람이 주목적이 아닌 자료를 보존하기 위한 도서관은 우리나라에서는 이미 고려시대부터 비롯되었고, 조선시대에는 외사고와 규장각의 규장외각에 계승되었다. 본고는 조선 정조년간에 설치된 규장외각의 설치, 보존도서관으로서 문헌의 '보존', '보호', '복원' 활동에 관해 분석한 것이다.

정보기술 발전의 영향으로 대학도서관 정보서비스는 변화하여왔다. 본 연구는 모바일 커뮤니케이션과 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅으로 대표되는 미래 정보 환경에서의 학술정보유통과 대학도서관 학술정보서비스를 예측하여 대비하기 위한 기초를 마련하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 미래 연구 방법 가운데 하나인 시나리오 기법을 도입하여 미래 학술정보유통 환경의 변화의 주요 동인을 파악하고, 각각의 가능성과 대안적 상황들을 정리한 후, 각 환경 속에서 출판사, 대학도서관, 이용자 세 집단의 정보서비스 관련 행위들을 예측하였다.
