In multivariate regression analysis there exist many influence measures on the regression estimates. However it seems to be few of influence diagnostics on test statistics in hypothesis testing. Case-deletion approach is fundamental for investigating influence of observations on estimates or statistics. Tang and Fung (1997) derived single case-deletion of the Wilks' ratio, Lawley-Hotelling trace, Pillai's trace for testing a general linear hypothesis of the regression coefficients in multivariate regression. In this paper we derived more extended form of those measures to deal with joint influence among observations. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effect of joint influence on the test statistics.

As a faithful study about the intended plan of builder, this article studied the Dosanseodang(陶山書堂) which is located in the Dosanseodang(陶山書堂). The Dosanseowon is one of the representative Yi-Dynasty' Seowons. Through the review of $\ulcorner$The Writings of Toegye$\lrcorner$. It is found several intended plan of the Dosanseodang(陶山書 堂) as follows. 1. When Toegye located the site of the Dosanseodang in the Dosan, using four criteria such as 1) geographical characteristics(地 理), 2) hills and waters(山水) 3) form and orientation of valley, 4) so-cial characteristics. 2. In the Dosan area, the location of Seodang was determined by the physical characteristics of the valley(orientation and entrance), not by the concept of Fung-sui(風水). 3. The whole spatial structure of Seodang area formed triangle, and the Dosanseodang was located at the angular point of the triangle. 4. The landscape elements of the Dosanseodang falled into the three landscape hierarchy such as a front view, a middle view, and a distance view. Besides the three views, there was a borrowed view which Toegye defined in terms of ownership.

Glomus tumours are vascular hamartomas that are commonly found in the hand, particularly the subungual region. They appear as solitary or multiple tumours, and often present as a bluish discoloration of the nail plate. Different diagnostic tests are outlined, as well as imaging studies such as magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound. Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis of these tumours are common, while a familial tendency is a potential risk factor but not yet proven. Complete surgical excision often results in complete symptomatic relief, while recurrences are largely due to incomplete excision or the growth of a new glomus tumour. This article aims to review the key aspects of glomus tumours and provide a diagnostic algorithm so that the lesion can be recognized and treated earlier.

This paper presents the experimental and theoretical results of SUS 304 stainless tubes with different diameter-to-thickness ratio (D/t ratio) subjected to pure bending creep. Pure bending creep occurs when a circular tube is bent to a desired moment and held at that moment for a period of time. It was found that the magnitudes of the creep curvature and ovalization of tube cross-section increase faster with a higher hold moment than that with a lower one. Due to continuously increasing curvature, the circular tubes eventually buckle. Finally, a theoretical form was proposed in this study so that it can be used to describe the relationship between the creep curvature and time. Theoretical simulations are compared with the experimental test data, showing that good agreement between the experimental and theoretical results has been achieved.

We have used FT-IR spectra to explain the effects of hydrogen bonding between chitosan and polycaprolactam (PA6). A dynamic mechanical analysis study suggested that the optimum chitosan and PA6 miscibility under the conditions of this experiment were obtained at a blending ratio of 40:60. We studied the thermal degradation of chitosan blended with PA6 (chitosan/PA6) by thermogravimetric analysis and kinetic analysis (by the Ozawa method). Dry chitosan and PA6 exhibited a single stage of thermal degradation and chitosan/PA6 blends having> 20 wt% PA6 exhibited at least two stages of degradation. In chitosan/PA6 blends, chitosan underwent the first stage of thermal degradation; the second stage proceeded at a temperature lower than that of PA6, because the decomposition product of chitosan accelerated the degradation of PA6. The activation energies of the blends were between 130 and 165 kJ/mol, which are also lower than that of PA6.

In this study, glucose and glutamate (copiotrophic conditions) were used to enrich electrochemically active bacteria (EAB) in a microbial fuel cell (MFC). The enriched population consisted primarily of ${\gamma}$-Proteobacteria (36.5%), followed by Firmicutes (27%) and O-Proteobacteria (15%). Accordingly, we compared our own enrichments done under many different conditions with those reported from the literature, all of which support the notion that electrochemically active bacteria are taxonomically very diverse. Enrichments with different types and levels of energy sources (fuels) have clearly yielded many different groups of bacteria.

A dynamic tri-threshold call admission control scheme has been developed. This scheme supports voice, data, and multimedia services and it complies with the universal mobile telecommunications system. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated under varying handover rates. The QoS performance-including channel utilization, call dropping probability, and blocking probability-is investigated. The performance of the developed scheme is found to be encouraging.

We analyzed conditions for fabricating zero-bias polymer-stabilized liquid crystal (PSLC) pi cells. A high curing voltage and a very low curing intensity are effective in fabricating the cell with a high bright state, a low dark state and therefore a steep T-V curve. However, the response time of the cell is slow. Finally, a dual-frequency PSLC pi cell with fast response time is developed. The obtained result reveals that the dual-frequency PSLC pi cell has a fast response of under 1ms.

The influence of hygrothermal effects on the vibration frequency and buckling load of a shear deformable composite plate with arbitrary initial stresses was investigated. The governing equations of the effects of humid, thermal and initial stresses are established using the variational method. The material properties of the composite plate are affected by both temperature and moisture. The initial stress is taken to be a combination of uniaxial load and pure bending in a hygrothermal environment. The influence of various parameters, such as the fiber volume fraction, temperature, moisture concentration, length/thickness ratios, initial stresses and bending stress ratio on the vibration and stability of the response of a laminated plate are studied in detail. The behavior of vibration and stability are sensitive to temperature, moisture concentration, fiber volume fraction and initial stresses.

In this paper, we propose a constrained optimization model for conjoint analysis (a preference decomposition technique) to improve parameter estimation by restricting the relative importance of the attributes to an extent as decided by the respondents. Quite simply, respondents are asked to provide some pairwise attribute comparisons that are then incorporated as additional constraints in a linear programming model that estimates the partial preference values. This data collection method is typical in the analytic hierarchy process. Results of a simulation study show the new model can improve the predictive accuracy in partial value estimation by ordinal east squares (OLS) regression.
