원격측정명령처리기 릴레이구동 회로 설계 및 구현

  • 본 연구에서는 원격측정명령처리기의 위성체의 구성 변경을 담당하는 릴레이구동 회로를 구현하고 검증하였다. 먼저 릴레이구동 회로의 규격을 정의하고 정의된 규격을 만족하는 릴레이 구동회로를 설계하였다. 릴레이구동 회로의 설계 검증을 위해 시뮬레이션을 통한 릴레이구동 펄스 전류 및 전압을 확인하였으며 또한 릴레이구동 회로 기능 시험 결과와 시뮬레이션 결과의 비교를 통해 정의한 규격의 릴레이구동 펄스 전류 및 전압을 제공하는지 확인하였다. 또한 각 소자의 허용오차 값을 고려한 최악조건해석을 통해 안정적으로 릴레이를 구동할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Research interest on functional food and phytochemicals has mainly focused on their health effects, mechanism of action and structure-activity relationship for the development of nutraceuticals. Considering the intake of phytochemicals via the normal diet, further information is required on changes in food functionality or individual phytochemicals that occur during the cooking or processing of foods, in order to increase the intake of these bioactive compounds, because many of the unit-operating procedures involved in cooking or food processing may result in physicochemical changes of food constituents. This study reviews the changes of selected phytochemicals, i.e. flavonoids, organosulfur compounds and carotenoids, or food functionality by major cooking or processing procedures such as heating, fermentation, and pH changes. In general, heating has a negative effect on food functionality, although in some cases, mild heating increases bioactive phytochemical contents. Some phytochemicals, including anthocyanins and catechins, are stabilized in lower pH conditions. The structures of phytochemicals, including isoflavones and catechins, are changed by fermentation. The loss of bioactive compounds may be decreased by recently developed cooking or processing methods such as microwave cooking or use of high hydrostatic pressure. However, the effects of cooking and processing procedures on food functionality and phytochemicals are so diverse and dependent on test conditions that further research efforts are needed to form accurate conclusions on the effects of cooking and processing of foods.

Influence of Feeding β-Cyclodextrin to Laying Hens on the Egg Production and Cholesterol Content of Egg Yolk

  • The main objective of the present study was to determine the effect of dietary $\beta$-cyclodextrin ($\beta$-CD) on egg laying performance and cholesterol content of egg yolk. Feed intake, egg production and egg weight varied slightly, but not significantly, between hens fed either a control diet or a diet containing one of an increasing series of $\beta$-CD concentrations (2%, 4% or 6%). However, feed intake, egg production and egg weight were all lower in the hens fed on 8% $\beta$-CD (p<0.05). No difference in haugh unit values, egg yolk color and egg shell thickness were found between the different treatments. The cholesterol content of egg yolks (mg/g yolk) was significantly decreased by 0.71, 2.98, 4.00 and 4.24 mg in eggs from hens maintained on 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% $\beta$-CD, respectively (p<0.05). These observations indicate that appropriate supplementation of diets with $\beta$-CD can reduce the cholesterol content of eggyolks, thus raising the prospect of the production of a healthier functional food.

  • 본 논문에서는 내장형 응용에 적합한 RISC 마이크로프로세서와 DSP 프로세서의 기능을 유기적으로 결합한 구조를 연구하고 이를 설계한다. 프로그램의 크기를 줄이기 위해 RISC 명령어는 16비트 명령어 집합을 설계하고 분기 명령어로 인한 손실을 줄이기 위해 한 개의 지연 슬롯을 갖고 있다. DSP 명령어는 32비트 길이를 갖고 한 명령어로 곱셈, 덧셈(뺄셈), 두 가지 데이터 이동을 할 수 있어서 한 사이클에 최대 네 가지 동작을 할 수 있다 파이프라인 단계는 IF, ID, EX, MA, WB/DSP의 다섯 단계로 구성된다. DSP 기능을 지원하기 위해 내부 루프 버퍼를 갖고 정수 실행부에서는 주소 발생을 위한 전용 하드웨어와 DSP 유닛에서는 곱셈 및 누적 기능을 지원하기 위한 17 × 17 비트 곱셈기가 내장된다. 제안된 구조의 설계는 Verilog-HDL을 이용하여 top-down 설계 방식으로 설계되었고 각 기능 검증을 마친 후 3.3V, 0.6㎛ CMOS triple metal single poly 공정을 이용하여 합성하고 레이아웃 하였다.

차세대고속철도기술개발사업 시스템인터페이스 시험기술 개발 (Development of the technology to verify the systems interface for the High speed Electric Multiple Unit)

  • Since a long time ago, many railway engineers analyze and discuss the interface between the sub-system of railway, such as a wheel/rail interface, pantograph/catenary interface etc. The verifying of the system interface could help to achive the optimized performance and safety of the railway system considering that the railway system is constructed by various engineerings, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, etc. A rolling stock with distributed drive system, which will be developed by HEMU-400x project, is capable of running on high speed line and conventional line in Korea. To verify the performance of rolling stock, test run will be done with revenue service line. And the test items of the system interface have to be selected to verify a functional compatibility and physical force between rolling stock and infrastructure. In this paper, the authors will indicates the test items to verify system interface. To achive the conclusion, the authors analyze a specification of the development train and the design value of Seoul-Busan high speed line, which will be used for testing of the development train, and also, study the various case of high speed train commissioning.

Production of ginsenoside F1 using commercial enzyme Cellulase KN

  • Background: Ginsenoside F1, a pharmaceutical component of ginseng, is known to have antiaging, antioxidant, anticancer, and keratinocyte protective effects. However, the usage of ginsenoside F1 is restricted owing to the small amount found in Korean ginseng. Methods: To enhance the production of ginsenoside F1 as a 10 g unit with high specificity, yield, and purity, an enzymatic bioconversion method was developed to adopt the commercial enzyme Cellulase KN from Aspergillus niger with food grade, which has ginsenoside-transforming ability. The proposed optimum reaction conditions of Cellulase KN were pH 5.0 and $50^{\circ}C$. Results: Cellulase KN could effectively transform the ginsenosides Re and Rg1 into F1. A scaled-up biotransformation reaction was performed in a 10 L jar fermenter at pH 5.0 and $50^{\circ}C$ for 48 h with protopanaxatriol-type ginsenoside mixture (at a concentration of 10 mg/mL) from ginseng roots. Finally, 13.0 g of F1 was produced from 50 g of protopanaxatriol-type ginsenoside mixture with $91.5{\pm}1.1%$ chromatographic purity. Conclusion: The results suggest that this enzymatic method could be exploited usefully for the preparation of ginsenoside F1 to be used in cosmetic, functional food, and pharmaceutical industries.

랩-온-어-디스크를 위한 실시간 영상 조절 및 이미지 획득 시스템 (A Dynamic Camera Actuation System for Simultaneous in Situ Image Acquisition on a Lab-on-a-disk)

  • In this study, a dynamic camera actuation system for simultaneous in situ image acquisition is developed to achieve real-time observation of transient liquid flow on a lab-on-a-disk. A disk-type electric circuit, namely circuit-on-a-disk, co-rotated with the lab-on-a-disk improves the dynamic image acquisition ability in terms of a frame rate. The circuit-on-a-disk is comprised of a camera connected with a motor, a microprocessor and a wireless communication module. The camera connected with the motor enables to realize dynamic tracking of a transient flow and real-time image acquisition. The obtained images can be simultaneously transferred by a video/audio transmitter unit to a personal computer. Also, the microprocessor receives signals from the personal computer, and then controls the focusing position of the camera. We are expecting that heaters, sensors, and light sources also can be integrated on the circuit-on-a-disk, and they will enable various functional actuations as well as precise image acquisition.

  • A series of vibration assessment programs has been performed for Yonggwang Nuclear Power Plant Unit 4 (YGN 4) in order to verify the structural integrity of the reactor internals for flow induced vibration prior to its commercial operation. The structural analysis was done to provide the basis for measurement and the theoretical evidence for the structural integrity of the reactor internals. The actual flow induced hydraulic loads and reactor internals vibration response data were measured and recorded during pre-core hot functional testing of the plant. Then, the measured data have been reduced and analyzed, and compared with the analysis results such as the frequency contents, stresses, strains and displacements. It is concluded that the structural analysis methodology performed for vibration response of the reactor internals due to the flow induced vibration is appropriately conservative, and also that the structural integrity of YGN 4 reactor internals to flow induced vibration is acceptable for long term operation.

국내만성질환자 가족간호 연구분석 (Analysis of Nursing Research Trends in Study of Families of Patients with Chronic Diseases)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends and to suggest future directions for research on families of patients with chronic disease. Method: The method used was a review of 83 dissertations and articles related to these families published in Korea between 1980 and 2002. Analysis included design of the study, sources of data, interventions for experimental research and main concepts for non-experimental research. Result: It was found that 80.7% of the studies were non-experimental research and 85.1% of these were descriptive surveys. In 79.5% of research studies, data were collected at a hospital. Nursing interventions in the experimental studies included stress management, education, strengthening functional communication among family members and nursing management. The major concepts were family burden, family stress, and coping, and family experience. Conclusion: It is necessary that research on the family-as-a-client be more focused and that the results of family related research be applied to the family as a unit. Development of research instruments to measure the phenomena of Korean families of patients with chronic disease is also needed.

패킷 전송용 무선 모뎀 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Wireless Modem for Packet Transmission)

  • 본 논문은 패킷전송을 위한 협대역 무선모뎀의 구현과 설계에 대해 다루었다. 모뎀은 송신부, 수신부 그리고 제어부로 구성되어 있다. 송신부는 협대역 필터링과 함께 BP나 변조를 사용하였다. 수신부는 반송파 복구, 비트동기, lock 검출부 등의 기능적인 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 분산 패킷 무선망을 위해 3개의 모뎀을 구현하여 패킷 데이터의 전송을 평가하였다. PC의 RC-232C 포트를 통해 패킷화된 데이터의 전송을 확인하였으며 측정장비를 이용하여 실험 결과 데이타를 그림으로 나타내었다. 본 논문에서 구현된 모뎀은 무선 LAN을 제작하는데 유용하리라 기대된다.
