This study: 1) identifies differences in consumers' perceived similarity of extended products to their parent product in terms of brand attributes, 2) identifies the influence of the perceived similarity on consumer's attitude toward and purchase intention of extended products (i.e., brand extension effect), and 3) examines the moderating effect of Brand Relationship Quality (BRQ) on brand extension effects. A survey questionnaire was distributed to a convenience sample of individuals aged 20-39. A total of 576 valid responses were used for the final analysis. The results showed that: 1) the consumers perceived more similarity in the extended products when the extended products maintain more consistent attributes with their parent product, 2) the higher the perceived similarity was then the higher the brand extension effect, and 3) brand relationship quality moderated the influence of perceived similarity on attitude and purchase intention. When consumers build a high relationship quality with a brand, then the brand extension effect is likely to be high regardless of the perceived similarity of the extended products. This study consequently has its own contribution in that it empirically examined the brand extension effect in the fashion field and evidenced the role of BRQ in brand extension.

In this paper, we carried out a new numerical approach for solving integral algebraic equations with weakly singular kernels. The novel method is based on the construction of B-spline tight framelets using the unitary and oblique extension principles. Some numerical examples are given to provide further explanation and validation of our method. The result of this study introduces a new technique for solving weakly singular integral algebraic equation and thus in turn will contribute to providing new insight into approximation solutions for integral algebraic equation (IAE).

Designer has recently required the supporting system to assist the design steps that are not simple and standardized. But, as it is often the case with many researches, the design support systems have the problems that the functional module's expansion and the flexible connection with the intelligent CAD System are insufficient. In this paper, we present a framework, EDSS Frame (Expanded Design Support System Frame) to improve in its problems. For the implementation of the EDSS Frame, we make the functional modules, the executable files and analyze a characteristic of the functional modules. Finally, we checked the cases that is generated. Through these works, we organize the algorithm of the running process in each cases. A user can make the process through the association of the functional modules. Also, we make the DLL files or algorithms for corresponding in change of the intelligent CAD System. User can make the additional file or algorithm for a new release of the intelligent CAD system. EDSS Frame can be used for the implementation of the design support system on a various fields, and assists a designer with the rapid reconstruction of the design support system through the continuous addition of the functional modules and the redefinition of the running process between the functional modules.

Purpose: This study aimed: to confirm the balance ability of patients with spinal cord injury in the sitting state through a functional reach test using an elastic aid; and to propose a balance improvement plan. Methods: The study evaluated seven patients with spinal cord injury who could maintain a sitting posture through minimum assistance. A functional reach test was performed before and after wearing an elastic aid while sitting on a chair, and the effects before and after use of the elastic aid were compared and analyzed through a motion analyzer. Results: In the functional reach test, the forward movement distance of the hand was 97.45 mm before wearing the elastic aid, but significantly increased to 131 mm after wearing the aid (p<0.05). Corresponding forward movement distances for the shoulder were 81.26 mm and 113 mm (p<0.05 for the increase). There was no statistically significant change in lateral functional arm extension. Conclusion: It was confirmed, through a functional reach test, that trunk stability in patients with spinal cord injury increased with use of an elastic aid. In future, more efficient rehabilitation treatment programs will be possible if trunk stability in patients with spinal cord injury is improved by using elastic aids, and if various exercise treatments are also included in the rehabilitation programs.

Purpose : The hamstring is a group of three muscles, biceps femoris, semitendinosus, and semimembranosus, placed behind the thigh. The hamstring is one of the most commonly injured muscles and usually occurs during high-speed, high-intensity exercise. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of static stretching and eccentric exercise of hamstrings on flexibility, strength, and functional performance. Methods : This study was conducted on 28 healthy adults. Subjects were divided into a static stretching group (n=15) and an eccentric exercise group (n=13). Subjects measured hamstring flexibility (active knee extension test), hamstring strength (concentric and eccentric peak torque), and functional performance (triple hop for distance and modified 20 m sprint). The intervention was conducted three times a week for six weeks. To compare the difference between values before and after the intervention, paired t-test was used, and an independent t-test was used to compare between groups. Results : In both groups, the active knee extension test, concentric peak torque, triple hop test, and 20 m sprint significantly increased after the intervention compared to before the intervention (p<.05). However, no significant difference was found in eccentric peak torque after intervention in both groups (p>.05). No significant difference was found between the two groups in the effect on the variables (p>.05). Conclusion : Both interventions were found to be effective for flexibility, concentric strength, and functional performance. Eccentric exercise and static stretching are recommended to improve the flexibility and functional performance of the hamstring. This study's results will be considered essential data on the effectiveness of static stretching and eccentric exercise.

1910년대 근대적 지적제도가 창설된 이후 100여 년간 새로운 기술의 도입과 사회발전에 따른 요구사항을 수용하기 위한 부분적 보완은 이루어졌지만 지적공부에서 등록 관리하고 있는 등록사항을 확장하기 위한 방향성 설정에 관한 부분에 대해서는 거의 논의가 이루어지지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 국제측량사 연명(FIG) 7분과위원회에서 미래 지적제도 발전방향으로 제시한 지적 2014(Cadastre 2014)의 내용 중 첫번째 선언문의 내용을 바탕으로 현재의 권리 관점의 지적공부 등록사항을 의무 및 제한사항으로 확대하여 등록하는 방안을 제안하였으며, 이에 대한 지적공부 등록사항 확장 방향성으로 법률적 확장성과 지하 및 지상 공간 객체로의 확장에 관한 기술적 확장성, 마지막으로 토지와 관련된 정보 공시를 위한 플랫폼 역할을 기능적 확장성으로 제시하였다. 또한 확장 방향성을 고려하여 지적공부 등록사항 확대를 적용할 수 있는 분야로 환경 분야와 안전관리 분야에 대한 적용을 검토하였다.

This study investigated the nutritional compositions and physiochemical properties of three domestically cultivated jujube fruits (Boeun, Sangwhang, and Bokjo). Nutrient contents were analyzed by freeze-drying the jujube fruits. The results showed that the proximate compositions of the three jujube cultivars ranged from 7.85~13.52% for moisture, 4.65~5.24% for crude protein, 1.29~2.38% for crude ash, 0.17~1.09% for crude lipid, and 7.66~16.63% for crude fiber. The above proximate contents of jujube cultivars were significantly different. Mineral contents of Al, Fe, Mg, Ca, Na, and K in the three jujube fruits were also determined. Mn, Cu and Zn were not detected in any of the varieties. The content of Al was higher in Sangwhang, while Boeun had higher contents of Ca and K. The total polyphenol, ABTS values, and hypoglycemic effect were slightly higher in Boeun as compared to the other varieties. Taken together, Boeun could be an important source of natural antioxidant as a functional food.

This study was carried out to investigate the quality characteristics of yanggaeng added with jujube extracts. The jujube extracts were incorporated into yanggaeng at different levels (containing 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% jujube extracts) based on the total weight of water. To analyze the quality characteristics in the manufacture of yanggaengs, pH, moisture content, density of dough, height, specific volume, baking loss, texture, color, antioxidant activity, total polyphenol content, and sensory test were determined. As the content of jujube powder increased, the pH of yanggaengs decreased but the acidity increased. There was no significant difference in the moisture content depending on the addition of jujube extracts. The color, lightness and redness of yanggaengs decreased as the concentration of the extract increased, whereas the yellowish color increased. As the jujube extracts content increased, total polyphenol content, antioxidant activity, reducing sugar and total tannins significantly increased. The yanggaeng contains jujube extract with acceptable sensory properties, such as color, sweet taste, and overall acceptability, which could be integrated into yanggaengs to meet the taste and functional needs of the consumers.

본 연구에서는 비유사 확장 시 확장제품에 대한 평가는 목표확장제품으로 직접확장하였을 경우보다는 순차적 확장을 하였을 경우 더욱 호의적이라는 선행연구에 근거하여, 이러한 브랜드확장 유형(순차적 확장 vs. 직접확장)에 따른 확장제품평가의 차이가 브랜드 컨셉(기능적 브랜드 vs. 상징적 브랜드)과 목표확장제품의 가격(저가 vs. 고가)에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지 두 차례의 실험을 통해 그 조절적 역할을 검증하였다. 실증분석결과, 선행연구에서와 마찬가지로 비유사 확장 시 목표확장제품에 대한 평가는 직접확장보다 순차적 확장 시 더욱 호의적이었다. 하지만 브랜드확장 유형에 따른 목표확장제품의 평가차이는 기능적 브랜드보다 상징적 브랜드일 경우 현격히 줄어들었으며, 목표확장제품의 가격이 저가일 경우에 비해 고가일 경우 크게 줄어들었다. 즉, 브랜드 컨셉과 목표확장제품의 가격이 브랜드확장 유형의 주효과를 조절하는 변수로서의 역할을 하고 있음이 확인되었다.

Some formulas of the genus numbers and the ambiguous ideal class numbers of function fields are given and these numbers are shown to be the same when the extension is cyclic.
