There are many methods in controlling inverter's voltage and currents. most of all, PI control method is a general method. PI control has some merits. But, PI control has zero effect. So, steady-state response errors always exist by the zero effect. For removing the steady-state error, This paper presents the modeling, design and analysis of the double loop feedback control scheme. and computing the value of parameters and applying In the single-phase full bridge inverter for comparison and analysis between the PI control and PDFF control. The system model is employed to examine the dynamics of power circuit and select appropriate feedback variables for stable operation of the closed-loop UPS inverter system. It analyzes and proves the output characteristic of inverter system with the PDFF control.
Stepping motor normally operates without feedback and may loss the synchronization. This problem can be prevented by using positional feedback. This paper introduces one method for closed loop control of stepping motor and a method for combining full-step control and micro-step control. This combination controlling apparatus can perform position control with high accuracy in a high speed, so that it will not suffer from vibration (or hunting) problem when stopping motor. Controlling apparatus contains a position counter block for detecting rotor position of stepping motor, a driving block for supplying current to windings of stepping motor, a control block for comparing output signal of position counter block with command position (desired position) and outputting current command signal based on deviation between current position and command position of rotor. To output current command signal, the control block refers to a sine wave data table. This table contains value of duty cycle of Pulse Width Modulation signal. As the second object of this paper, the process of building this data table is also presented.

This survey paper presents and overview on eigenstructure assignment (EA) control design methodologies. EA is an excellent control design method which may be used to assign the entire eigenstructure(eigenvalues, and right or left eigenvectors) of a closed-loop linear system via a full state or an output feedback control law. In general, EA is well-sutied for incorporating classical specifications on damping, settling time, and mode or disturbance decoupling into a modern multivariable control framework. The purpose of this paper is to provide an extensive survey on EA control design methods that might serve as an introduction to a study on EA. The fundamental concepts and formulations for understanding EA problems are extensively described. The recently reported results on EA are also presented.
This paper presents a adaptive fuzzy control suitable for motion control of multi-link robot manipulators with uncertainties. When joint velocities are available, full state adaptive fuzzy feedback control is designed to ensure the stability of the closed loop dynamic. If the joint velocities are not measurable, an observer is introduced and an adaptive output feedback control is designed based on the estimated velocities. To reduce the number of fuzzy rules of the fuzzy controller, we consider the properties of robot dynamics and the decomposition of the unknown input gain matrix. The proposed controller is robust against uncertainties and external disturbances. The validity of the control scheme is demonstrated by computer simulations on a two-link robot manipulator.

Active vibration control via inertial mass actuators has been shown as an effective tool to significantly reduce human-induced vertical vibrations, allowing structures to satisfy vibration serviceability limits. However, a lot of practical obstacles have to be solved before experimental implementations. This has motivated simple control techniques, such as direct velocity feedback control (DVFC), which is implemented in practice by integrating the signal of an accelerometer with a band-pass filter working as a lossy integrator. This work provides practical guidelines for the tuning of DVFC considering the damping performance, inertial mass actuator limitations, such as stroke and force saturation, as well as the stability margins of the closed-loop system. Experimental results on a full scale steel-concrete composite structure (behaves similar to a footbridge) with adjustable span are reported to illustrate the main conclusions of this work.

This paper discusses the maintenance of the water level of steam generators at its programmed value. The process, the water level of a steam generator, has the nonminimum phase property. So, it causes a reverse dynamics called a swell and shrink phenomenon. This phenomenon is severe in a low power condition below 15 %, in turn makes the start-up of the power plant too difficult. The control algorithm used here incorporates a pole-assignment scheme into the minimum variance strategy and we use a parallel adaptation algorithm for the parameter estimation, which is robust to noises. As a result, the total control system can keep the water level constant during full power by locating closed-loop poles appropriately, although the process has the characteristics of high complexity and nonlinearity. Also, the extra perturbation signals are added to the input signal such that the control system guarantee persistently exciting. In order to confirm the control performance of a proposed pole-assignment self-tuning controller we perform a computer simulation in full power range.
Techniques for stabilising slender bridges under wind loads are presented in this article. A mathematically consistent description of the acting aerodynamic forces is essential when investigating these ideas. Against this background, motion-induced aerodynamic forces are characterised using a linear time-invariant transfer element in terms of rational functions. With the help of these functions, the aeroelastic system can be described in the form of a linear, time-invariant state-space model. It is shown that the divergence wind speed constitutes an upper bound for the application of the selected mechanical actuators. Even active control with full state feedback cannot overcome this limitation. The results are derived and explained with methods of control theory.
In this paper, a single current sensor technique (SCST) is proposed for single-phase full-bridge inverters. The proposed SCST measures the currents of multiple branches at the same time, and reconstructs the average inductor, capacitor, and load current in a single switching cycle. Since all of the branches' current in the LC filter and the load are obtained using the SCST, both the inductor and the capacitor current feedback schemes can be selectively applied while taking advantages of each other. This paper also analyzes both of the current feedback schemes from the view point of the closed-loop output impedance. The proposed SCST and the analysis in this paper are verified through experiments on a 3kVA single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS).

An approach for robustness recovery of the observer-based control system is presented. The approach is developed by adding a loop with appropriate constant matrix to the observer-based closed-loop system. It will be shown that if there exists an added-loop matrix M satisfying F=MC for a feedback gain F and output matrix C, then the observer-based control systems have the same loop transfer functions as full-state feedback implementations, in other words, the former has the same relative stability and robustness as the latter.
In this paper a new single-stage ac-dc converter with high frequency isolation and low components count is introduced. The proposed converter is constructed using two interleaved boost circuits in the grid side and non-regulating full bridge in the DC side. An optimized switching is implemented on the two interleaved boost circuits resulting in a ripple-free grid current without a ripple cancellation network; hence very small filter inductors are used. A simple and reliable closed-loop control system is easily implemented, since the phase-shift angle is the only independent variable. Moreover, current imbalance is avoided in the presented topology without current control loop in each phase. The proposed charger charges the battery with a sinusoidal-like current instead of a constant direct current. ZVS turn on of all switches is achieved throughout the operation in both directions of power flow without any additional components.
