First, they are three main factors such as different ways to communicate, patriarchic ways of thinking and different ways of daily life which have caused family conflict. The conflict caused has been reinforced by anger and frustration against other family members. However, based on understanding on the preciousness of family and importance of inter-respect, it is still on going to find out the moderate way to manage family conflict among their family members. This study has practical and methodological significances. At policy and practice level, this research stresses on the significance of focusing on the family as a unit to be approached for policy and practice intervention. As the methodological aspect, the research tried to search the relationship among family members in the Vietnamese migrated women's family by including not only a migrated woman but also her husband and mother in law. However, there is a limit as it only focuses on cases which family members could manage the family conflict.

  • This was performed to improve the working conditions of oyster mushroom cultivation on bed using rice straw of which binding and cutting procedure need a lot of time. There was a little difference in physiochemical components between rice straw and cotton waste C/N ration of cotten waste was, however, similar to rice straw as 84-85. If is feasible to use as substrate material. The average yield of a net was 1450g in six frustration harvest, when the size of an onion net was $35{\times}30cm$, mixture ratio of rice straw to cotton waste was 40:60(V/V). Cultivation method using an onion net saved 3 days for preparation, 4 hours for inoculation compared to normal bed cultivation. This method was analysed to give 5% economical benefit.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand family members' experience of deciding to withdraw life-sustaining treatments for terminally-ill patients in an unconscious state. Methods: Data were collected by performing an in-depth interview with eight terminally-ill patients' family members who decided to withdraw life-sustaining treatments. Colaizzi's phenomenological method was used for data analysis. Results: Questions were classified into 12 groups and finally into five categories. The five categories were about family members' frustration with patient's condition, emotional preparation for the patient's death upon medical professionals' recommendation, patient's wishes, exhaustion due to caring and past experiences related to life-sustaining treatment. Conclusion: Using the five categories, hospice and palliative professionals could better understand family members' decision making experience of withdrawing life-sustaining treatments for terminally-ill patients. Based on that, the family members could be provided with appropriate counseling and care, which in turn could improve hospice and palliative care intervention.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the usability of augmented reality (AR) picture book for young children. The participants of this study were 17 five-year-olds attending to M kindergarten in Korea. The measurement of the usability was conducted by observation and interviews during and after children's AR picture book reading 1) usability test score such as task completed that is, reading the AR picturebook successfully, 2) children's behaviors in the process of reading the book, 3) children's response to the questions asking the level of satisfaction with the AR picture book. The result of study showed that most of children could read the AR successfully adjusting the distance and angle of AR picture book to web-camera's location. And children showed verbal and nonverbal expression such as surprise, joy, questions and frustration in reading the book. Children told that AR picture book is fun and easy to read. This study would provide the implications for the interface development and adult-child book reading of AR picture books.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this narrative study was to understand how family caregivers interpreted themselves life during caring for dying patients with gliobalstoma, and how they integrated these experiences into their personal biographies. Methods: Three family caregivers were recruited for the study. Data were collected through a series of audio-taped unstructured interviews and conversations with participants. The interviews and observation were conducted between October and November, 2011. Data were analyzed using psychosocial analytical methods that combined case based, in-depth staged analysis of narratives. Results: The life experiences of the family caregivers with a dying family member were summarized as, in their own voices, 'the repetition of gliobalstoma,' 'a smart patient,' 'being obsessed with rehabilitation treatment,' 'the frustration from nothing but just looking at the suffering of the patient,' and 'a stubborn son'. Conclusion: Caregiving was characterised by various roles and life changes from the moment of diagnosis. Family caregivers of brain tumor reported experiences similar to those described by caregivers of people with other cancers. What differed for this group was the rapidity of change and the need for immediate information and support to assist with caring for a person with high-grade glioma.

  • Retinitis Pigmentosa(RP) is a common hereditary disease. While they have been normally living, those who have this symptom feel frustration and pain by the damage of visual acuity. At the national level, the loss of the economic activity due to the reduction of economically active population will be also greater. There is an urgent need for the base study that can provide the clinical prognosis information of RP disease. In this study, we suggest that it is possible to predict prognosis through the pattern classification of RP data. Statistical processing results through statistical software like SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Service) were mainly applied for the conventional study in data analysis. However, machine learning and automatic pattern classification was applied to this study. SVM(Support Vector Machine) and other various pattern classifiers were used for it. The proposed method confirmed the possibility of prognostic prediction based on the result of automatically classified RP data by SVM classifier.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore undergraduate students' professional growth experiences as a novice counselor through reflective journal writing. Study participants were six students who completed the counseling skills course. The analysis was done on their weekly reflective journals using Colaizzi's phenomenological qualitative method. As a result, 11 sub-categories and 3 categories were emerged: increasing recognition and knowledge regarding counseling, being troubled and frustrated due to one's inexperiences of counseling, trying to overcome frustration toward professional counselors. This study revealed counseling major undergraduate students' professional development experiences and can be utilized in counseling training program development in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was to test the theoretical model designed to explain juvenile delinquency by media violence. Data were collected through questionnaire survey over a period of 3 months. Subjects served for this study consisted of 537 adolescents including 217 delinquent adolescents and 320 student adolescents in Korea, sampled from Korean student population and delinquent adolescent population confined in juvenile correctional institutions, using proportional stratified random sampling method. In this study, exogeneous variable was family dynamic environment and endogeneous variables were character of adolescent including need satisfaction/ frustration, sociability, antisocial personality tendency, complaints of psychosomatic symptoms and depressive trend, juvenile delinquent behavior and media violence themes including the extent of interest in and exposure and modelling impulsiveness and modelling to media violence themes. A total of 18 instruments were used to operationalized concepts in this model. A validation study indicated that internal consistencies for the 18 instruments which the researcher used were reliable. The one month test-retest correlation for these instruments ranged from 0.54 to 0.88. Statistical methods employed were descriptive statistics and covariance structural modelling. In summarized conclusion, it was found that media violence served as the most contributor to juvenile delinquency by direct effect of 0.64(t=10.18). That is, as the adolescents have to be the higher extent of interest in and exposure and modelling impulsiveness and modelling to media violence themes, they will show the more frequency of delinquent behavior. The single most powerful contributor by total effect of 0.73(t=7.90) (direct effect=0.19, indirect effect=0.54) to the development of delinquent behavior identified in this study was a construct defining family dynamic environment. That is, as the adolescents had to be more unstable family dynamic environment, they became more frustrated to their psychological need, and revealed the more maladaptive personality pattern, consequently they behaved the higher misconducts such as juvenile delinquency through media violence.

  • To investigate the relationship between dental hygiene students' stress and college life satisfaction, 299 dental students and students in Gyeongnam area studied stress, stress response scale, and university life satisfaction. The results of systematic analysis according to the scale of stress response showed high values in fatigue, frustration, depression and anger. In addition, satisfaction with stress experienced negatively. Stress can give you a negative impact that can lead to serious illness. A systematic analysis using the stress response scale is expected to help reduce stress and improve college life satisfaction when the stress of college life is expected to increase maladjustment and dissatisfaction. We suggest the development and analysis of a stress response tool suitable for dental hygienists.
