Emotion Detection Algorithm Using Frontal Face Image

  • An emotion detection algorithm using frontal facial image is presented in this paper. The algorithm is composed of three main stages: image processing stage and facial feature extraction stage, and emotion detection stage. In image processing stage, the face region and facial component is extracted by using fuzzy color filter, virtual face model, and histogram analysis method. The features for emotion detection are extracted from facial component in facial feature extraction stage. In emotion detection stage, the fuzzy classifier is adopted to recognize emotion from extracted features. It is shown by experiment results that the proposed algorithm can detect emotion well.

  • Anthropological measurements concerning 29 items were made on 37 adult males aged from 20 to 60. Factor analysis was applied in all 36 items. The main results are as gallows 1. Neck girth and need base girth are smaller. in the elder croup than the gouger group. 2. These decrease occur in the frontal part of the neck. 3. Neck frontal width decreases with age, but side depth increases. 4. The back part of the body depth at the level of the shoulder increases with age. 5. For the factor analysis, the third factor is a factor of forms, the variations of which has a relation with age.

  • The effective construction for ready-made clothes is one of the central concerns of both consumer and manufactures in today's apparel industry. So in order to reduce the burden of stocks and increase clothing fitness, systematic information on typical body size and somatotypes is essential. This study was performed to provide fundamental data on junior-high school girls' somatotype by classifying the lower body somatotype and analyzing the characteristics of each somatotype. The subject were 236 Korean junior-high school girls. The subject were directly measured anthropometrically and indirectly analyzed photographically. By direct measurement, 5 factors were extracted through factor analysis and the subject were classified into 4 duster as their lower body front silhouette. By indirect measurement, 5 factors ore extracted through factor analysis and the subject were classified into 3 cluster as their lower body side silhouette. After combining the body types of the front and the side silhouette, we selected 4 basic body types out of combination.

  • As the latter part of the research on the high school girls\` body shapes, this study aimed to classify high school girls\` lateral body shapes and by combining the result with that of the authors\` precedent study on the classification of their frontal body shapes, to classify the whole body shapes into presentative clusters. Subjects consisted of 205 high school girls in Kwangju aged 16 through 18 years. 55 anthropometric and 29 photographic measurements were taken from each subject. For more effective data analysis, these measurements were tansformed into some calculated indexes. These indexes were reduced to 8 factors and these factors classified the lateral body shapes into 3 clusters. The compound types of the whole body shapes resulting from frontal and lateral body shape analysis resulted in 9 representative cody types.

전두엽 간질에서 F-18-FDG PET의 간질병소 국소화 성능: 육안 판독과 SPM에 의한 분석 (Brain F-18 FDG PET for localization of epileptogenic zones in frontal lobe epilepsy: visual assessment and statistical parametric mapping analysis)

  • 목적: 수술을 필요로 하는 난치성 간질 중 전두엽 간질은 두 번째로 흔하나 간질 병소의 국소화는 쉽지 않다. 이 연구에서는 수술로 확인한 전두엽 간질환자를 대상으로 F-18-FDG PET의 간질 병소 국소화 성능을 알아보았다. 대상 및 방법:본 병원에서 간질 표준 검사 후 전두엽 간질로 진단되어 병소절제술을 시행한 후 간질이 잘 조절된 환자 24명을 대상으로 하였다. 이들은 모두 수술 후 Engel 분류상 I 또는 II 로 예후가 좋은 환자로서 수술 병리소견에 피질이형성증 18, 종양 4, 피질 반흔 2예이었다. F-18-FDG PET스캔에서의 대사 감소 부위를 육안 판독과 SPM 방법으로 분석하고 간질 병소를 국소화하였다. SPM 분석 때에 유의수준을 바꾸어가며 간질원인병소 국소화성능을 비교하였다. 결과: MR에 구조이상 병변이 보이는 경우가 12예, 정상례가 11예이었다. 육안 판독에 의한 F-18 FDG PET의 간질 병소를 편측화 또는 국소화 정확도는 54% (13/24)이었다. MR에서 구조적 이상이 있었던 경우는 67%에서, MR에 이상 소견이 없었던 경우 50%에서 F-18 FDG PET으로 대사 감소부위를 찾아 간질 병소를 발견하였다. SPM 분석에서는 유의수준 p값을 낮출수록 예민도가 감소하였다. SPM 방법으로 분석한 F-18 FDG PET의 간질원인 병소발견 예민도는 63%로 육안 판독에 비하여 높았으나 통계적 차이는 없었다. 결론: F-18 FDG PET은 전두엽 간질 환자에서 간질 병소를 예민하게 국소화하였으며 뇌 MR에서 구조적 병변이 없는 경우에서도 비슷한 빈도로 대사 감소부위를 찾아주었다. SPM 분석 방법은 F-18 FDG PET 전문가의 육안분석과 대등한 예민도를 보여 주었고 따라서 전두엽 간질 환자에서 간질 병소를 찾는데 도움될 것이라 생각한다.발생하기 용이함을 의미한다. 시스템과 사용자 설명서는 국내 시행이 가능한 상태로 판단된다. 그러나, 시행 시에 치료표적에서의 오차는 크지 않을 것으로 예상이 되지만, 위험장기에서의 오차는 클 것으로 예상되며, 이에 대한 방안이 마련돼야 할 것이며, 또한 임상의 중요성과 연관해 의미 있는 2차원 선량분포의 기준 마련이 요구된다.본 GE $Advance^{TM}$ PET 시스템이 임상에의 적용에 적합함을 보여주었다.mens사의 상용 분석 프로그램에는 해당 기능이 없어 계산값의 비교를 통한 검증은 수행하지 못하였고, 수화(hydration)와 탈수(dehydration) 각각의 조건에 따른 신장기능 분석에 적용하였을 때, 판별 기준이 되는 유의미한 값을 산출하여 타당성 검증을 대신하였다. 결론: 이 연구에서 개발한 핵의학 영상의 정량적 분석을 통한 신장기능 분석 프로그램을 사용하여 신장 기능을 분석한 결과, 타당성 있는 결과를 도출하여 그 유용성을 입증하였다. 이 개발 프로그램은 좀 더 다양한 임상응용 목적의 분석기능을 사용자가 직접 개발, 추가하기가 용이하여 기존 상용 프로그램보다 연구적 활용범위가 크다고 사료된다.2.2{\pm}0.4\;(1.6{\sim}3.2){\mu}g/ml$와 $1.4{\pm}0.2\;(0.8{\sim}1.6){\mu}g/ml$로서(p=0.16), 표준균주 3종 모두에서 Infecton의 MBC 또한 ciprofloxacin에 비해 $2{\sim}4$배가 높았다. 결론: Tc-99m Infecton은 ciprofloxacin 보다는 약하였지만 표준균주에 대해 생체외 항균력을 보였다.를 보였고 또한 다변량분석에서 휴식기의 관류지수는 좌심실 확장을 예측할 수 있는 유일한 지표였다. 또한 작은 수의 증례이지만

비정상 상태 운전 시 정면충돌에서의 상해 분석 (Analysis of Driver Injuries Caused by Frontal Impact during Abnormal Driver Position)

  • Recently, the driver can be assisted by the advanced active safety devices such as ADAS from road traffic risks. With this system, driver and passenger may freed from can driving tasks or kept eyes on forward direction while on the road. Help from adoptive cruise control, auto parking and newly develped automated driving vehicles technologies, the driver positions will vary significantly from the current standard driver position during the travel time. On this hypothesis, the objective of this study is analyze the behavior and injuries of drivers in the event of frontal impact under these abnormal driver position. Based on the KNCAP frontal impact testing method, this simulation matrix was set-up with dummies of 5 th tile female Hybrid III dummy and 50 th tile male Hybrid III dummy. The small sedan type passenger car was modeled in this simulation. The series of simulation was performed to compare the injuries and behaviour of each dummy, varying the seating status and seat position of each dummy.

ATB 프로그램에서 삼점식 좌석 벨트 모델의 구현 (Implementation of 3-point Seat Belt Model into ATB Program)

  • Occupant simulation models have been used to study trends or specific design changes in several typical crash situations. The ATB, Articulated Total Body, was developed and used to predict gross human body responses to vehicle crashes and pilot ejections. Since the ATB source code is open to public, the user can add their own defined modules and functions. The introduction of seat belts into cars significantly decreased the injury risk of passengers in frontal impacts. In this paper, a new seat belt model was developed and implemented into the ATB. For this purpose, a subroutine of the new seat belt was constructed. A force-deflection function was added to replace an existing function to consider energy absorption. The function includes hysteresis effects of the experiment data of the loading and unloading parts of the seat belt load-extension curve. Moreover, this belt model considers a slip between ellipsoid and belt segments. This paper attempted to validate the ATB program which includes the subroutine of new belt models comparing with the real car frontal crash experiments and MADYMO frontal models. The analysis focusses on the human movement and body accelerations.

Mandibular Kinesiograph를 이용한 하악개폐운동형태의 분석 (Analysis of Mandibular Opening and Closing Movement Patterns Using Mandibular Kinesiograph)

  • The author has studied mandibular opening and closing movement patterns using mandibular kinesiograph in order to make basic data that is necessary to diagnose the mandibular movement function. The 83 normal subjects, who were students of the school of dentistry. Kyunpook National University and Daegu Junior Health College, were selected according to sampling criteria. The results were as follow : In the sagittal plan, crossover pattern had the highest incidence in male (72.7%) and female(76.8%). There was no significant defference of distribution of habitual closing movement patterns between male and female.(p>0.05). There were difference between each patterns.(p<0.01) In the frontal plane, there was no difference of distribution of male's opening and closing movement patterns between habitual and maximum velocity (p<0.05),but difference between each subjects. (p<0.05) In the frontal plane, there was no difference of distribution of habitual opening and closing movement patterns between male and female.(p<0.05) In the frontal plane, the average number of habitual opening and closing pathways cross the midline was greater than that of maximum velocity.(p<0.05) The average of the maximum mandibular movemet velocity of male was greater than female in opening and contact(p<0.01) and there was no difference between male and female in closing.(p>0.05)

고층 아파트에서 응축기 적층문제 분석 (Analysis of the Condenser Stack Effect in a High-Rise Apartment Building)

  • The stack effect of a new type condenser installed in a high-rise apartment building was studied numerically A sirocco fan is introduced to the new type condenser instead of an axial flow In. The new type condenser intakes the cold air through the lower inlet and exhausts the hot air through the upper outlet. The effects of the building height and frontal wind on the performance of an air-conditioner were analyzed. The performance of an air-conditioner was evaluated by using COP (coefficient of performance) and CGPI (condenser group performance indicator). the hot air was exhausted by the new type condenser at an angle of 50$^{\circ}$ from the outer wall of the building. If there was no draft, the new type condenser installed in the high-rise apartment building had a good performance and its performance on each floor is not influenced by the stack effect. It is shown that the efficiency of the air-conditioner installed in several floors below the top floor decreased when the frontal wind velocity was greater than 8 m/s.

  • With increasing need of transportation services for people with disabilities and the aged, wheelchairs are used as their assistive devices to participate in daily and recreational activities and as seats of motor vehicle. However, as wheelchairs are primarily designed fer mobility assistive devices, not for vehicle seats, wheelchair users may experience serious injury when they meet car crashes. To date, neither engineering guidance for a wheelchair mounting system on the vehicle floor nor safety assessment analysis by a car crash has been studied for the domestic users. In this paper, in accordance with the ANSVRESNA WC-19, a fixed vehicle mounted wheelchair occupant restraint system (FWORS), wheelchair integrated restraint system (WIRS), and wheelchair integrated x-bend restraint system (WIXRS) subjected to frontal impact (20 g, 48 U) were analyzed using compute. simulations for domestic users. We present surrogate wheelchair occupant safety by head injury criteria (HIC), motion criteria (MC), and combined injury criteria (CIC).
