단순한 시각적 하중에 의한 아다마르 영상부호화 (A Simple Human Visual Weighted Hadamard Transform Image Coding)

  • 선택적인 주파수 특성을 가지고 있는 인간의 시각 시스템(HVS)을 왈쉬함수로 표현되는 아다마르변환 영역에서 적용하였다. 아다마르 기본함수의 주파수 성분을 구하여 시각 시스템을 모델링하였으며 이때 오차측정의 기준으로서 저 전송율 변환 부호화기에서 중요한 요소인 블록 경계상의 오차와 평균자승 오차를 사용한 결과 인간이 가장 높은 감도를 갖는 공간 주파수는 이산 여현 변환의 경우보다 높게 나타났다. 부호화기에서 HVS 모델을 적용하여 시각적 감도가 높거나 중요한 정보만을 전송하고 북호화기에서는 역하중이 없는 방법을 제시하였다. 블록과 블록이 교차하는 영역에서 특히 크게 나타나는 오차를 감소시키기위해 시각적 하중 방법을 사용하였으며 0.8 bpp이하의 전송율에서 인간의 시각 특성에 만족되는 변환부호화를 시험하였다.

A novel method for the vibration optimisation of structures subjected to dynamic loading

  • The optimum design of structures with frequency constraints is of great importance in the aeronautical industry. In order to avoid severe vibration, it is necessary to shift the fundamental frequency of the structure away from the frequency range of the dynamic loading. This paper develops a novel topology optimisation method for optimising the fundamental frequencies of structures. The finite element dynamic eigenvalue problem is solved to derive the sensitivity function used for the optimisation criteria. An alternative material interpolation scheme is developed and applied to the optimisation problem. A novel level-set criteria and updating routine for the weighting factors is presented to determine the optimal topology. The optimisation algorithm is applied to a simple two-dimensional plane stress plate to verify the method. Optimisation for maximising a chosen frequency and maximising the gap between two frequencies are presented. This has the application of stiffness maximisation and flutter suppression. The results of the optimisation algorithm are compared with the state of the art in frequency topology optimisation. Test cases have shown that the algorithm produces similar topologies to the state of the art, verifying that the novel technique is suitable for frequency optimisation.

$H_\infty$ 제어를 이용한 방진대의 능동제어 (Active Control of Isolation Table Using $H_\infty$ Control)

  • Recently, the high-precision vibration attenuation technology becomes the essence fo the seccessful development of high-integrated and ultra-precision industries, and is expected to continue playing a key role in the enhancement of manufacturing technology. Vibration isolation system using an air-spring is widely employed owing to its excellent isolation characteristics in a wide frequency range. It has, however, some drawbacks such as low-stiffness and low-damping features and can be easily excited by exogenous disturbances, and then vibration of table is remained for a long time. Consequently, the need for active vibration control for an air-spring vibration isolation system becomes inevitable. Furthermore, for an air-spring isolation table to be successfully employed in a variety of manufacturing sites, it should have a guaranteed robust performance not only to exogenous disturbances but also to uncertainties due to various equipments which might be put on the table. In this study, an active vibration suppression control system using H.inf. theory is designed and experiments are performed to verify its robust performance. An air-spring vibration isolation table with voice-coil-motors as its actuators is designed and built. The table is modeled as 3 degree-of-freedom system. An active control system is designed based on $H_\infty$control theory using frequency-shaped weighting functions. Analysis on its performance and frequency responce properties are done through numerical simulations. Robust characteristics of$H_\infty$ control on disturbances and model uncertainties are experimentally verified through (i) the transient response to the impact excitation of the table, (ii) the steady-state response to the harmonic excitation, and (iii) the response to the mass change of the table itself. An LQG controller is also designed and its performance is compared with the $H_\infty$ controller.

  • 병렬형 도립진자를 수학적으로 모델링하고 주파수 응답법에 의해 파라미터를 동정하여, $H_\infty$제어이론 중 혼합감도문제에 의거하여 제어계를 설계한 후 응답 시뮬레이션을 한 결과그 응답으로부터 모델링의 불확실성에 대처할 수 있는 강인한 제어계를 구성할 수 있었다. 앞으로 실제 시스템에 대하 s제어들 과제로 남겨두고 있다. 시뮬레이션 응답과는 달리 실제 으답실험에서도 좋은 결과를 얻기 위해서는 여러 가지의 어려움이 있을 것으로 예상된다. 특히 응답 시뮬레이션에서도 나타난 바와 같이 전자가 미소각으로 기울어진 상태에서 제어를 할 경우에도 각 상태의 변동량이 크고, 또한 상당한 제어입력을 요한다. 따라서 센서 잡음에 대한 영향을 충분히 고려할 필요가 있으므로, 노이즈를 많이 발생시키는 PWM방식의 직류모터 구동 드라이버보다는 선형 드라이버를 이용하는 것이 적절할 것으로 예상된다

  • Thesedays, the reduction of hand-transmitted vibration of hand-held power tools is important issue for operators' welfare, In the study, frequency response function is measured and vibration total value is evaluated for solving the principle and effect of the BOSCH's vibration-proof handle. This handle functions as a dynamic damper and has the effect, 22% vibration total value reduction under idling condition using a system that consists of a PC with data acquisition system and LabVIEW program. The program in the system makes it possible to evaluate vibration total value according to ISO 5349. This handle offers a good example for figuring out the physical contradiction between the work efficiency and operators' health.

범프 통과시 발생하는 충격신호에 대한 주관평가와 객관평가의 상관성 연구 (Correlation between Subjective and Objective Assessments of Shock Signals Excited on a Vehicle Passing Bumps)

  • In oder to generate various shock signals in a field study, a passenger car was driven at several speeds over road profiles that included a number of half sine shaped bumps of various heights. A triaxial SAE pad sensor was mounted on the front passenger seat to measure the acceleration signals which might produce subjective discomfort. The measured accelerations were correlated with the subjective assessments of 14 subjects. The magnitude of subjective discomfort was found to be proportional to the VDV and also the peak to peak of the frequency weighted acceleration signal.

  • 본 논문에서는 TITO 시스템에서 분산된 LQ-PID 제어기 설계방법을 제안하고,주파수 영역의 설계사양인 명령추종, 외란제거, 센서 잡음 저감도를 만족하도록 제어기를 설계하였다. 설계방법은 PID 제어요소를 포함한 폐루프 상태방정식과 LQR 폐루프 상태방정식의 관계를 유도하고 루프형성절차를 통해 가격함수의 가중치 요소 Q와 R을 선정함으로써 성능 및 안정도 강인성이 보장되도록 하였다.

  • In digital controller design, the delays in the controller should be taken into consideration when the computation time of the processor is not negligibale compared with sampling time. Recently, Mita has proposed a digital optimal servosystem taking account of the delays in the controller. In this paper, robust stability and diturbance rejection properties of this optimal servosystej are analyzed in the frequency-domain. The well-known asymptotic properties of the optimal regulators with respect to the weighting matrices of the cost functions are successfully utilized to show that the influence of the delays in the controller are drastic for certain choice of the cost function Illustrative numerical examples are presented.

외팔보에 대한 가진력수준제어를 통한 피로균열규명기법의 실험적 검증 (Experimental Verifications of Fatigue Crack Identification Method Using Excitation Force Level Control for a Cantilever Beam)

  • In this study, a new damage identification method for beam-like structures with a fatigue crack is proposed. which does not require comparative measurement on an intact structure but require several measurements at different level of excitation forces on the cracked structure. The idea comes from the fact that dynamic behavior of a structure with a fatigue crack changes with the level of the excitation force. The 2$^{nd}$ spatial derivatives of frequency response functions along the longitudinal direction of a beam are used as the sensitive indicator of crack existence. Then, weighting function is employed in the averaging process in frequency domain to account for the modal participation of the differences between the dynamic behavior of a beam with a fatigue crack at the low excitation and one at the high excitation. Subsequently, a damage index is defined such that the location and level of the crack may be identified. It is shown from the analysis of vibration measurements in this study that comparison of frequency response characteristics of a beam with a single fatigue crack at different level of excitation forces enables an effective detection of the crack.

반잠수 쌍동선의 최적 운동제어기 설계 (Application of Optimal Control Techniques to SWATH Motion Control)

  • 본 논문은 SWATH선의 히브 및 피치 제어에 대한 LQ이론의 상세한 응용과정을 제시한다. 부가질량과 감쇄계수를 상하동요 고유주기에서의 값으로 근사함으로써 선형 시불변 2차 연립 미분방정식이 주파수 응답 모델로부터 유도된다. 파기진력은 사인파들의 합으로서 모델링 된다. 좋은 과도응답(transient response)과 적절한 제어핀 운동을 얻기 위하여 상태 및 제어 가중행렬의 체계적인 선택과정이 제시된다. 본 논문의 제어기 설계과정의 타당성이 시간영역 및 주파수 영역에서의 시뮬레이션과 전달함수행렬의 특이값 선도에 의해 철저히 조사되어 진다. 최종 설계된 제어시스템은 본 연구의 응용이 성공적이었음을 나타내는 좋은 전체 성능을 보여준다.
