동절기 공사를 위한 표면단열 양생방법의 실용화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Practicality of Surface Adibatic Curing Method for Cold Weathering Construction)

  • This study was carried out to examine application of surface adiabatic curing method in slightly cold weathering period. So, early aged freezing damage and compressive strength of concrete were examined through temperature analysis of construction concrete. Temperature analysis was carried out according to the average temperature, concrete placement completion time and surface adiabatic curing method. Analysis results show that additional curing plans are demanded in concrete construction below 0$^{circ}C$, surface adiabatic curing method is could apply in the average temperature more than -2$^{circ}C$ and curing method as heating are needed under -2$^{circ}C$.

  • Thermal behavior of spacecraft propulsion system utilizing monopropellant hydrazine ($N_2$H$_4$) is addressed in this paper. The thermal-control performance to prevent propellant freezing in spacecraft-operational orbit was test-verified under simulated on-orbit environment. The on-orbit environment was thermally achieved in space-simulation chamber and by the absorbed-heat flux method that implements an artificial heating through to the spacecraft bus panels enclosing the propulsion system.

마우스 상실배의 Vitrification에 관한 연구 (Vitrification of Mouse Morulae)

  • In vitro survival of the mouse morulae frozen by vitrification method(Kasai et al., 1990) was investigated in the present study. The embryos were plunged into LN2 directly after exposure to the vitrification solutions(EFS, GFS and DFS). The results were obtained as follows. The viability of morulae after freezing and thawing was high in EFS(96.7∼100.0%) and GFS vitrification solution(93.3∼96.7%), and the lowest in DFS vitrification solution(0.00∼0.03%).

  • The applicability of marine clay and banking material as landfill liner and supporting layer was examined, where additives (cement, lime, Mg0, bentonite and ESCA) were mixed with these soils. The mixtures were tested for the unconfined compressive strength, bending strength, permeability, and better results than existing solidifying agents were obtained. The freezing-thawing test is under way.

  • When Concrete work during winter is placed, it has anxiety that concrete freeze at low temperature. As concrete's freezing cause reduction of durability, it is necessary for mixing to pay attention to Air content and W/C ratios. Accordingly, in this study, we set up three series and evaluate a frost-resistance of concrete with admixture, like fly-ash and blast-furnace slag, for early curing method and types of chemical admixture..The study is composed as; I series : Analysis for early curing method and types of chemical admixture in laboratory II series : Analysis for early curing method and types of chemical admixture in batcher plant and measured concrete' temperature. The result of this study, it was more effective the use of super-plasticizers than air entraining agent.

  • Air voids in hardened concrete have an important influence on concrete durability such as resistance of freezing and thawing, permeability and surface scaling resistance. Linear traverse method and point count method in ASTM standard method have been widely used to estimate the air void system in hardened concrete. However, these methods are not used at present time, because they are is exhausted much time and effort. In previous study, air voids system of concrete was estimated by spacing factor. The purpose of this study organizes image analysis method by analyzing air contents, air voids distributions by diameters, air voids system as well as spacing factors after hardened concrete. The experimental variables institute of depth of specimen(top, middle, bottom), air contents(AE contents 0, 0.01, 0.03%).

  • VGF법을 사용하여 CuBr₂ dopant가 첨가된 Bi₂Te/sub 2.55/Se/sub 0.45/ 열전재료를 제조하였다. 이 방법을 사용하여 일방향으로 성장된 Bi₂Te/sub 2.55/Se/sub 0.45/ 잉곳의 제조가 가능하였으며 XRD 분석 결과 우선성장 방향이 (0 1 5)면임이 밝혀졌다. 본 실험을 통하여 제조한 열전재료의 Seebeck 계수와 전기전도도를 373∼523 K 범위에서 측정하였다.

K-$\omega$ 난류방정식을 위한 다중격자기법의 수렴성 연구 (Convergence Study of Multigrid Method for K-$\omega$ Turbulence Equations)

  • An efficient implicit multigrid method is presented for the Navier-Stokes and k-ω turbulence equations. Freezing and limiting strategies are applied to improve the robustness and convergence of the multigrid method. The eddy viscosity and strongly nonlinear production terms of turbulence are frozen in the coarser grids by passing down the values without update of them. The turbulence equations together with the Navier-Stokes equations, however, are consecutively solved on the coarser grids in a loosely coupled fashion. A simple limit for k is also introduced to circumvent slow-down of convergence. Numerical results for the unseparated and separated transonic airfoil flows show that all computations converge well without any robustness problem and the computing time is reduced to a factor of about 3 by the present multigrid method.

  • In fracture problems, stress intensity factors obtained theoretically and experimentally have been effectively utilized in the analytical evolution of the cracks effect. The effect of surface crack of a cylindrical and a hollow cylindrical bar is investigated, as well as the effect of the thickness of a hollow cylindrical bar and inclined crack of a hollow cylinder subjected to torsion moment. In this study, stress intensity factor Km of mode III which expresses the stress state in the neighborhood of a crack tip is used. stress analysis was conducted on the inside of hollow cylinder inthe axial direction of three dimensional crack tip subjected to torsion moment by combining the caustics method and the stress freezing method.
