세계인권선언서를 기저로 한 IFLA 선언서의 인권 개념 연구 (A Study on the Concepts of Human Rights in IFLA Statements on the Basis of UDHR)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인권을 기저로 한 공공 도서관 서비스의 철학적 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 이 글에서는 세계인권선언서와 국제도서관연맹의 인권과 관련된 13개의 선언서의 주요개념을 질적 데이터 분석방법으로 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과, 국제도서관연맹의 선언서에서 강조하고 있는 가장 중요한 인권개념은 1) 세계인권선언서 제 19조의 의견 및 표현의 자유, 그리고 정보접근의 자유, 2) 제 2조의 어떠한 이유로든 차별받지 않을 권리, 제 12조의 사생활보호의 권리, 그리고 제 26조의 교육 받을 권리, 3) 제 18조의 사상, 양심, 종교의 자유, 그리고 제 27조의 문화적 삶의 권리 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로, 우리나라 도서관법에 추가해야할 인권의 개념을 제안하였다.

  • 기존의 스포츠 시뮬레이터 제품들은 모션 플랫폼의 운동과 간단한 시각적 콘텐츠를 이용한 실감 표현에 집중되어 있고 놀이위주의 적용에 국한되어 있어, 사용자가 체감할 수 있는 오감 자극효과가 낮아 고실감 적용에는 부족하며, 전문 콘텐츠 부재로 인해 교육용 스포츠 시뮬레이터로서의 적용은 아직 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 다종목 교환이 가능한 다축 공통 플랫폼과 교환식 스포츠 모듈로 분리하여 공통 플랫폼의 운동 자유도를 4자유도(Surge, Sway, Heave, Yaw) 운동을 할 수 있도록 스포츠 플랫폼을 설계하였다. 이 플랫폼은 안정성을 보장하고 간섭을 최소화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 플랫폼에 탑재되는 교환식 스포츠 모듈의 운동 자유도는 2자유도(Roll, Pitch)로 승마, 요트와 같은 다양한 운동이 적용이 가능하고, 독립적인 회전 2자유도의 체감형 시뮬레이터의 구현이 가능하도록 하였다.

Chanel의 패션쇼에 나타난 공간 연출의 표현 유형과 미적 특성 (Expression Types and Aesthetic Characteristics of Space Directing at Chanel Fashion Shows)

  • This study considers types of expression and examines aesthetic characteristics by analyzing images expressed through space directing at Chanel Fashion Shows. The conclusions of this study are as follows. The expression types on space directing at Chanel Fashion Shows are what is presented by distributing huge objects associated with Fashion Shows at the center or back of the stage, integrating several detailed decorative elements while maintaining the morphological characteristics of the runway in a linear form, and utilizing an inartificial place or newly forming the whole stage. The symbolism characteristic was first indicated for the aesthetic characteristics on space directing at Chanel Fashion Shows. Symbolism is indicated through the identification of an implicit meaning towards a specific object. The symbolism was highlighted utilizing elements or stories that have a deep association with Chanel. Second, the characteristic of ecology was expressed through the recognition of the importance of the ecological environment by escaping the harmful practices of civilization such as environmental disasters and human alienation. The expression of visual ecology was emphasized utilizing themes related to environmental disasters or reviving the space of primitive nature. Third, the characteristic of fantasy was shown to express thoughts that originated from the human yearning for the ideal world contrary to an incomplete society. Fantasy was created by the inaccessible object in reality and a change in spatial structure. Fourth, the characteristics of amusement expressed pleasure, which is the instinctive desire truly immanent in a human being. It was natural amusement, which was advocated as freedom through the integration of neutrality, integrating either diverse elements (which are naturally recognized in our daily life) into Fashion Shows or amusement, which expressed newness through utilizing unusual objects in Fashion Shows.

독립 요소 분석을 이용한 얼굴 표정의 매개변수화 (On Parameterizing of Human Expression Using ICA)

  • 본 논문에서는 표정을 매개변수 공간에서 표현하고 응용하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 컴퓨터 애니메이션 분야에서 복잡한 얼굴 표정을 보다 간단하게 표현하기 위해 표정을 매개변수화 하기 위한 다양한 연구들이 이루어졌다. 본 논문에서는 사람의 얼굴 표정을 포착한 데이터를 이용하여 표정을 구성하는 간단한 몇 개의 주요 움직임을 분석한다. 이를 위해 먼저 표정 매개 변수화를 애니메이션에 효과적으로 적용하기 위해 필요한 요구사항을 정리하고, 기존 연구들의 제한점을 파악한다. 본 논문에서는 많은 양의 표정 데이터에 독립 요소 분석(independent component analysis)기법을 적응함으로써 사람의 표정을 나타내는 독립적인 움직임을 추출하고 표정의 매개변수 공간을 구성한다. 또한 얼굴의 비선형적 움직임을 보다 정확하게 근사하기 위한 변형 모델과 데이터를 기반으로 변형 모델을 학습하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 직관적으로 일반 사용자도 쉽게 표정을 제어할수 있는 매개변수 집합과 변형 모델을 얻을 수 있다.

자연적 모티프가 반영된 헤드 드레스의 표현 기법과 미적 가치 (Expression Techniques and Aesthetic Values of Head Dress Reflected on Natural Motif)

  • This study considers expression techniques and aesthetic values in the images of head dress reflected in a natural motif. The conclusions of the study are as follows. The first type is the realistic expression (52.4%) such as the reproduction of a natural object's essential form (27.0%), the partial derivation of the natural object (19.3%), and the planarization for the actual image of the natural object (6.1%). The second type is a metaphorical expression (39.0%) which emphasizes the morphological characteristics of nature (18.2%), the structuration of the natural object's silhouette into a three-dimensional or two-dimensional form (11.5%), and the abstract expression of the form in the natural object (9.3%). The third type is a hybrid expression (8.6%) that is a compromise between practical (or metaphorical expressions) so that expression techniques represent a compromise between the natural object's essential form and abstract expression (4.6%) or the combination of the natural object's silhouette into a three-dimensional or a two-dimensional visualization (4.0%). Aesthetic head dress values reflected in the natural motif first indicate a primitive value. This state of natural instinct recreates the natural object or combines part of the biological elements of the natural object to create an inducement to escape from the practical world. The second is amusement in the expression of animals in dynamic and humorous forms creates an illusion of animals being alive with a representative playful enjoyment. The third is abstraction that grant freedom in the observer's aesthetic rational through a reinterpretation of the fashion designer. The fourth is eclecticism where a compromise represents an act of mixing a variety of independent factors to create harmony with the imagery of nature created through the grafting of diverse expression techniques that break away from stereotypes of existing natural objects to create a type of nature that cultivates new values.

현대미술에 나타난 패브릭에 대한 고찰 - 08 광주 비엔날레 패브릭 작품 중심으로- (A Study on Fabrics Shown in Contemporary Art -Focused on Fabric Works in the Gwangju Biennale 2008-)

  • The history of contemporary art in the 20th century can be said the history of changes. Today the variety of objects destroy the boundaries of each genre. This study aims to understand the relationship between fashion and art that becomes closer by examining contemporary art in the Gwangju Biennale 2008 to enlarge the range of understanding of mutual communication between contemporary art and fabrics which are the object of fashion. The research method was to investigate the characteristics and expression methods of object fabrics shown in contemporary art through the review of papers published at home and abroad, related literatures, and Internet materials. Also, the meaning, technique, and methods of fabrics were analyzed from works introduced in the Gwangju Biennale 2008. In order to achieve this purpose, fabric was examined as the object of work in Gwangju Biennale 2008. As a result, it is found that fabric plays an important role in changing environment newly with more dynamic, abundant, and comfortable and softer feeling than any other artistic materials and enlarging the boundaries of artistic materials by exploring formative possibility. Furthermore, its multi-dimensional expression characteristic presents unbounded possibility. Fabric which has long formed close relationship with human life has taken its place as one genre now. It departs from the past principles of fabric handicraft and the restriction of a classical norm and becomes characteristic of very wide-ranging selection of materials and free expression. Its soft and warm texture provides emotional stability for a human. Although the peculiarity of fabric as an active concept to human environment and new materials and technique based on the aesthetic consciousness of a human rely on the high development of industry, it is significant that artists' liberation from their concept and material sense is accompanied by the expression of freedom.

현대 패션에 나타난 앤드로지너스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Androgynous Expressed in Contemporary Fashion)

  • The pursuit of freedom by the individual--desire to be liberated from all forms of restrictions-- is one of the defining character-istic of the modern society. As costume is, in part, a product of the spirit of the times, it was only natural that this desire for freedom would find its expression in modern costume as well. Among various forms of restrictions, differentiaton by sex has placed one of the most significant binding influences on individual behavior. From early times, the dichotomous division by sex was incorporated into the disign of costume, and the traditional differestriction of costume by sex imposed a significant restriction on the background,“the modern androhynous look”was born as a by-product of the sexual liberation movement in the second half of the 20th century, based on the concept of the individual as a complete human being rather than as a member exclusively of either the male or the female sex. This paper seeks to examine the androgynous look within a coherent theoretical frame-work, and explore new design possibilities by analyzing and understanding the visual characteristics of the androgynous look. In addition, this paper seeks to define the functional aspects of the androgynous look based on the premise that costume is an embodiment of the spirit of the times. As for research methodology, both theoretical and historical methods are employed. Through a theoretical examination of historical documents, the meaning of the androgynous look is explored from various angles, and order to examine its place in modern fashion, an-drogynous styles are categorized and system atically analyzed. The main findings of the paper can be summarized as follows : 1. Androgyny is a compound word consisting of“andro-”(meaning man) and“gyn-”(meaning woman). In modern times, this word has been associated with the socio-cultural aspect of gender rather than the physical or physiological aspect with the pshchological characteristics of the male and female sexes. Androgynous styles also appear in fashion and general arts such as drama, film, dance, and music. In fashion, the androgynous look, represented by the visual superimposition of “masculine”and “faminine”elements, has emerged as a major element of the 20th-century costume, and has gained broad acceptance among those free spirits wishing to be liberated from the conventional conceptions of male clothing, and the unisex look. 3. The androgynous look in modern fashion reflects the spirit of the 20th century society and culture, and performs various functions as follows : expression of fun, change in gender roles, expression of the inner consciousness, and pursuit of the ideal human type.

닥섬유 특성을 이용한 패션 주얼리 표현 연구 (A Study on the Expression of Fashion Jewelry Using the Characteristics of Paper Mulberry Fiber)

  • To satisfy consumers' desire to enjoy their own individuality and cultural trends, the discovery of various materials and the expression of materials embodying their characteristics are increasingly important in the fashion jewelry industry. This study examines, paper mulberry fiber, a raw material of hanji that has been excavated as a new material for fashion jewelry, is durable as wall as, soft and easy to form, has a unique texture along with, excellent aesthetic quality, and expresses various colors, thereby differentiating itself from traditional fashion jewelry materials. The material itself also has symbolic significance as an approach to discovering new sustainable materials for fashion jewelry to ensure increased specificity of the product based on the premise of freedom of expression. The weight and optimal drying time of chicken fiber were derived for the study of fashion jewelry expression using the characteristics of paper mulberry fiber. The techniques of casting, deflection, packing and winding (winding beads with fibers and straps) were derived and four brooches were produced in total. This study is meaningful for the future of, the fashion jewelry industry as it presents the uses of new materials such as paper mulberry fiber to induce multidisciplinary consumption and to suggest a direction for the creation of new value-added products. Further, in order to expand the realm of fashion jewelry industry with our own competitive products that have secured our cultural identity and uniqueness in the global market, there must be continued follow-up research on mass production methods for industrialization.

아이디어 발상을 위한 추상적 개념의 시각화 사례 연구 (A Case Review On Visualization of Abstract Concept for Idea Making)

  • 일반적으로 미술에서 어떠한 내용을 시각화하는 아이디어는 한 작품의 성공여부에 결정적이라 할 수 있을 만큼 핵심적인 부분이지만 실제로 이 아이디어 발상에는 많은 어려움이 따르기 때문에 본 연구에서는 이러한 시각화 작업을 위한 아이디어 발상에 방향성을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 개개인의 예술적 표현의 자유와 개성이 태동하기 시작하였던 르네상스 시대 이후의 서양미술에서 추상적 개념을 시각화한 내용을 보이는 구상화 중 표현기법 상의 대략 몇 가지의 사례를 분류해보고 그 표현기법이 확연하게 설명이 가능한 경우의 작품들을 발췌하여 소개하고 있다. 표현기법에 따라 상징, 알레고리, 특정양식, 초현실주의 구상기법, 형이상학적 논리의 왜곡, 그리고 상황적 설정으로 나누어 보고 각각의 기법들이 어떠한 방법으로 추상적 개념을 형성하고 전달하고 있는지 구체적 사례들을 설명하고 있다. 특히 이러한 연구가 미흡한 응용예술 분야의 아이디어 발상에 도움이 되었으면 하는 취지의 사례연구이다.

텍스트, 이미지, 동영상 UCC 채택에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Investigating Factors Affecting Text, Image, and Video UCC Adoption)

  • 최근 UCC 채택과 이용에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있으나 수용자의 능동성이라는 UCC의 가장 큰 특징을 구체적으로 개념화하여 측정한 연구는 많지 않다. 이 연구는 수용자의 능동적 참여를 구체적으로 개념화한 후 기존 연구의 틀과 통합하여 UCC의 채택과 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석함으로써 UCC 연구의 이론적 확장을 시도하였다. 기존의 개혁확산이론과 확장된 기술수용모델에 자기표현(self-expression)과 창조적인 예술활동(artistic activity)과 관련한 변인들을 추가적으로 포함시켜 대학생들의 텍스트, 이미지, 그리고 동영상 UCC 채택에 관한 영향요인을 분석했다. 회귀분석과 경로분석을 통해서 기존 연구들에서 제시된 변인들의 유의미성과 함께, 현실에서 자신의 표현에 서투른 사람들일수록 UCC에 대한 호의적 태도를 형성하기 쉽고, 자기표현이라는 행위가 옳고 더 많은 자유가 보장되어야 한다는 강한 신념이 자유로운 의사표현의 장인 UCC에 대한 호의적인 태도로 연결되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 예술활동에 관심이 많은 사람일수록 UCC 제작 활동에 더 활발히 참여하고, 본인의 예술적 재능이나 예술활동에 자신이 있는 사람이 UCC 제작에 참여할 가능성이 크다는 사실 역시 확인할 수 있었다.
