Ferroelectric Ce-doped $Bi_4Ti_3O_{12}$ (BCT) thin films were deposited by liquid delivery metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) onto a $Pt(111)/Ti/SiO_2/Si(100)$ substrate. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to identify the crystal structure, the surface, and the cross-section morphology of the deposited ferroelectric flims. After annealing above $640^{\circ}C$, the BCT films exhibited a polycrystalline structure with preferred (001) and (117) orientations. The BCT lam capacitor with a top Pt electrode showed a large remnant polarization ($2P_r$) of $44.56{\mu}C/cm^2$ at an applied voltage of 5 V and exhibited fatigue-free behavior up to $1.0{\times}10^{11}$ switching cycles at a frequency of 1 MHz. This study clearly reveals that BCT thin film has potential for application in non-volatile ferroelectric random access memories and dynamic random access memories.
The absolute necessity of cancer registration for cancer control planning is well accepted. The registry at the national or local level can provide not only essential data for cancer incidence, mortality and survival but may also point to risk and protective factors and efficacy of interventions by conducting epidemiological research. Timely publication of research findings in PubMed indexed journals is of the essence, especially in examples that allow free access so that the widest dissemination of information can be achieved. The present commentary covers the scope of research in Asia or using Asian data the period 2008-2013, nearly 40% of a total of over 300 papers being published in the APJCP. In order to reach its full potential the registry should incorporate many skills. Cooperation for this purpose, whether it be national, regional, Asia-wide or international, is a high priority and the International Agency for Research on Cancer, together with the National Cancer Institute in Thailand and the APOCP/APJCP are staging an Asian Cancer Network Forum in Bangkok in February of 2014 to allow discussion of ways forward. It is hoped that representatives from all regions of Asia will decide to attend and a l so contribute country reports for publication in a special supplement of the APJCP.
The objective was to evaluate method of feeding (free access or intubation), method of slaughter (carbon dioxide gas or barbiturate) and digesta flushing medium (distilled water or physiological saline), in the development of an ileal amino acid digestibility assay for 4 week-old broiler chickens. Three diets were used (commercial (C), semi-synthetic meat-and bone meal (MBM) or wheat (W)). For the coarser C and W diets but not for the MBM diet, feeding method had a significant effect on concentrations of chromium (Cr), nitrogen (N), acid detergent fibre (ADF) and neutral detergent fibre (NDF) in the crop contents at a set time after a meal. There appeared to be a selection of food particles under free-access feeding. For birds receiving the wheat diet there was an effect (p < 0.05) of sampling time after feeding on the concentrations of Cr, N, ADF and NDF/Cr in the crop contents. Flushing ileal digesta with distilled water or saline led to similar apparent ileal N digestibility coefficients. Birds given the MBM diet, and killed by inhalation of $CO_2$, had significantly (p < 0.05) lower apparent ileal N digestibility coefficients (73 versus 80%) than those killed by barbiturate overdose.

In this paper, a novel transmission system based on ATSC-M/H is proposed that enables free broadcast content services and pay subscription based content services. The proposed system is compatible with the existing systems and it does not use complex access restriction mechanisms such as CAS. In North America, many DLNA systems use set-top boxes with DVR as a digital media server. A method to enable the provision for ATSC-M/H free and pay subscription services on DLNA systems is presented. In addition, a data service processing method in DLNA systems is also proposed.
Because of the rapid increase of mobile traffic, flexible broadband supportive unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based 6G mobile networks using free space optical (FSO) links have been recently proposed. Considering the advancements made in UAVs, big data processing, and artificial intelligence precision control technologies, the formation of an additional wireless network based on UAV aerial platforms to assist the existing fixed base stations of the mobile radio access network is considered a highly viable option in the near future. In this paper, a combined time bound optimization scheme is proposed that can adaptively satisfy the control and communication time constraints as well as the processing time constraints in FSO-based 6G UAV aerial networks. The proposed scheme controls the relation between the number of data flows, input data rate, number of worker nodes considering the time bounds, and the errors that occur during communication and data processing. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme is very effective in satisfying the time constraints for UAV control and radio access network services, even when errors in communication and data processing may occur.
Collisions between tags greatly reduce the identification speed in radio frequency identification (RFID) systems and increase communication overhead. In particular for an active RFID system, tags are powered by small batteries, and a large number of re-transmissions caused by collisions can deteriorate and exhaust the tag energy which may result in missing tags. An efficient collision-free arbitration protocol for active RFID systems is proposed in this paper. In this protocol, a new mechanism involving collision detection, collision avoidance, and fast tag access is introduced. Specifically, the pulse burst duration and busy-tone-detection delay are introduced between the preamble and data portion of a tag-to-reader (T-R) frame. The reader identifies tag collision by detecting pulses and transmits a busy tone to avoid unnecessary transmission when collision occurs. A polling process is then designed to quickly access the collided tags. It is shown that the use of the proposed protocol results in a system throughput of 0.612, which is an obvious improvement when compared to the framed-slotted ALOHA (FSA) arbitration protocol for ISO/IEC 18000-7 standard. Furthermore, the proposed protocol greatly reduces communication overhead, which leads to energy conservation.

Magnetic random access memory (MRAM), based on magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) and CMOS, is a prominent candidate among prospective semiconductor memories because it can provide nonvolatility, fast access time, unlimited read/write endurance, low operating voltage and high storage density. The etching of MTJ stack with good properties is one of a key process for the realization of high density MRAM. In order to achieve high quality MTJ stack, the use of CoFeB and IrMn magnetic films as free layers was proposed. In this study, inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching of CoFeB and IrMn thin films masked with Ti hard mask was investigated in a $Cl_2$/Ar gas mix. The etch rate of CoFeB and IrMn films were examined on varying $Cl_2$ gas concentration. As the $Cl_2$ gas increased, the etch rate monotonously decreased. The effective of etch parameters including coil rf power, dc-bais voltage, and gas pressure on the etch profile of CoFeB and IrMn thin film was explored, At high coil rf power, high dc-bais voltage, low gas pressure, the etching of CoFeB and IrMn displayed better etch profiles. Finally, the clean and vertical etch sidewall of CoFeB and IrMn free layers can be achieved by means of thin Ti hard mask in a $Cl_2$/Ar plasma at the optimized condition.

The study aimed to suggest a model sample for guidance system for copyright of domestic journals and open access policy. Toward this end, analyses were conducted to examine copyright of domestic journals and open access environment. As a result of analyses, it turned out that 33.8% of domestic journals had 'regulations on ownership of rights to papers published in journals,' and that the subject to ownership of rights to papers published in domestic journals accounted for 28.8%, which was the highest rate. Of domestic journals, 34% charged a subscription fee, and they were toll access journals, and 56% were free access journals. As for system examples of guide system for copyright of foreign journals and open access policy, analyses were conducted to examine and investigate SHERPA/RoMEO in the U.K. and SCPJ in Japan and generate considerations at a time of domestic application. What needs to be taken into account is that overseas examples are focused on collecting and introducing self-archiving policy by authors for academic journals, so there are limitations in offering information including open access publication policy for domestic journals. Based on the analytical result, the study designated the purpose, direction and four steps that need to be considered at a time of development of guide system models for copyright and open access policy for domestic journals before suggestion of the basic direction and operational methods by stage.
This paper evaluates performances of a recently developed divergence-free finite element method based on Hermite interpolated stream functions. Velocity bases are derived from Hermite interpolated stream functions to form divergence-free basis functions. These velocity basis functions constitute a solenoidal function space, and the simple gradient of the Hermite functions constitute an irrotational function space. The incompressible Navier-Stokes equation is orthogonally decomposed into a solenoidal and an irrotational parts, and the decoupled Navier-Stokes equations are projected onto their corresponding spaces to form proper variational formulations. To access accuracy and convergence of the present algorithm, three test problems are selected. They are lid-driven cavity flow, flow over a backward-facing step and buoyancy-driven flow within a square enclosure. Hermite interpolation functions from cubic to quintic are chosen to run the test problems. Numerical results are shown. In all cases it has shown that the present method has performed well in accuracies and convergences. Moreover, the present method does not require an upwinding or a stabilized term.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness levels of Korean textile companies and develop appropriate response plans for the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement. Through such, the study aims to explore practical and realistic directions that the Korean textile industry must take in the future. As for the research method, a survey on the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement was conducted to 50 Korean textile companies which mainly deal in textile exports. Results showed that Korean textile companies possess above average awareness for the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement and carry the perception that the FTA has thus far had a positive effect of market revitalization and contributions to sales. Nonetheless, perceptions on the needs for the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement and level of awareness were below average while government assistance seen to be unsatisfactory. Such results suggest that measures for successful access to the U.S. market require developing products customized for the U.S. market and creating new market opportunities by participating in U.S. exhibits and shows. In addition, textile companies must develop their abilities for self-sustainability through continuous FTA related programs provided by government in addition to investing efforts to understand global markets within companies through response measures on the FTA as a whole.
