수직진동 사용성을 고려한 플랫 플레이트 슬래브의 최소두께 제안 (Minimum Thickness of Flat Plate Slab Satisfying Floor Vibration Criteria)

  • Flat plate slab systems are more economical rather than reinforced concrete frame systems because flat plate slab system reduces story height. Furthermore flat plate systems are more popularly needed in construction practice due to flexibility of plan. Korean Concrete Provisions 2003 provide the minimum thickness of the slab that satisfies serviceability requirement to the static displacement. However, floor thickness in residence buildings may not satisfy the floor vibration criteria although the thickness satisfies the serviceability requirements in current design provisions. This study estimates the dynamic properties of floor vibration for existing flat plate slabs, and proposes the slab thickness satisfying the floor vibration criteria. The dynamic response analysis using finite element method and reliability analysis are carried out for this Purpose.

  • Recently AEC industry has required construction automation according to becoming large and complex. Thus BIM-based construction project is increased and used in whole fields of AEC industry. Quantity take-off and estimation fields are important factor for decision-making in conceptual and schematic design stages of construction projects. The purpose of this study improves reliability of the estimation through QTO based on Open BIM. Scope and method to apply QTO is to select conceptual design stage through LoD(Level of Detail) in AEC field and to extract information from BIM model through analysis of IFC structure. This study proceeds three step to make BIM model and check the model quality and calculate QTO. The methodology of QTO using IFC is to verify of result in this study and expects utilizing in design stage of construction projects. The result from this study is expected to decrease the risk factor and time of estimation in the project early phase through improving reliability of schematic estimation.

  • A method for the inelastic response analysis of Planar frame based on Direct Method is presented. Two elements ( inelastic truss and inelastic beam ) are developed. The accuracy and reliability of the preposed method is verified by comparing the results of example analysis with BRAIN-2D developed by Powell.

Evaluation of Probabilistic Finite Element Method in Comparison with Monte Carlo Simulation

  • Abstract The formulation of the probabilistic finite element method was briefly reviewed. The method was implemented into a computer program for frame analysis which has the same analogy as finite element analysis. Another program for Monte Carlo simulation of finite element analysis was written. Two sample structures were assumed and analized. The characteristics of the second moment statistics obtained by the probabilistic finite element method was examined through numerical studies. The applicability and limitation of the method were also evaluated in comparison with the data generated by Monte Carlo simulation.

  • In this study, the motion compensating interpolation algorithm is presented. The presented algorithm allows the unblutted reconstruction of omitted frames. It is shown that the Walker & Rao's estimation algorithm using modified displaced frame difference combined with rectangulat adaptive measurement window increases the reliability of the estimation results. The remark ably improved image quality is achieved by change detection and segmentation.

  • The TDX-10 Time Switch architecture has modularity, high reliability and considerable large switch fabric having separated and both-way 1K time slot interchange switching circuit elements. In this paper, we present key functions, architecture, features and traffic characteristic of TDX-10 Time Switch. And we also describe some basic implementation technologies such as Frame Base Read-Write Separation Method, Multi-Write Method and Read-Write Separation Technique with Dual-port Memory.

  • In Pistol, the peak recoil force affects the reliability of the frame and the accuracy of target shooting. To attenuate the peak recoil force of pistol, we develop measuring test bed, which consists of force sensors, linear sensor and a high speed video camera, execute tests with several Pistol models and compare the results measured.

  • A 1:12 scale 10-story RC building structure was constructed and the experiment was performed. The test results are presented and compared with the results of the analysis conducted with DRAIN-2DX. It is concluded that some local deformations cannot be described reasonably with the wall model using only Plastic Hinge Beam-Column Element(TYPE02) in DRAIN-2DX whereas the strength and stiffness of the whole structure can be predicted with high reliability.

  • We propose a novel high dynamic range (HDR) video synthesis algorithm using alternatively exposed low dynamic range (LDR) videos. We first develop a superpixel-based illumination invariant correspondence estimation algorithm. Then, we propose a reliability weight to further improve the quality of the synthesized HDR frame. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm provides high-quality HDR frames compared to conventional algorithms.

신뢰도 기반 교량 안전성 평가를 위한 구조신뢰성 해석 플랫폼 FERUM-MIDAS의 개발 (Development of Structural Reliability Analysis Platform of FERUM-MIDAS for Reliability-Based Safety Evaluation of Bridges)

  • 교량은 현대 사회에서 중요한 사회기반시설물 중에 하나로 교량의 붕괴는 막대한 인명 피해와 경제적 손실을 일으킬 수 있다. 따라서 교량의 구조적 안전성을 평가하는 것은 매우 중요하며, 이를 위해 교량을 둘러싼 여러 종류의 불확실성 요인들을 고려하는 구조신뢰성 해석이 흔히 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 하중 조건에서 교량의 안전성을 평가하기 위한 새로운 구조신뢰성 해석 플랫폼을 제안한다. 제안 플랫폼 FERUM-MIDAS는 신뢰성 해석 소프트웨어인 Finite Element Reliability Using MATLAB(FERUM)과 교량 설계/해석에 특화된 상용 소프트웨어인 MIDAS/CIVIL을 연결하여, 자동적인 입출력 데이터 교환을 통해서 구조신뢰성 해석을 수행한다. 나아가 MIDAS/CIVIL의 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스로만 소프트웨어 구동이 가능한 한계점을 극복하기 위하여 FERUM에 별도의 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스 제어 모듈을 추가하였다. 본 연구에서는 제안 플랫폼을 간단한 프레임 예제에 적용하여 대표적인 신뢰성 해석 방법인 FORM(First-Order Reliability Method)과 MCS(Monte Carlo simulation)의 해석 결과를 비교·분석하였으며, 계산된 파괴확률 차이가 5% 미만인 것을 확인하여 제안 플랫폼의 검증을 완료하였다. 이와 더불어 개발된 플랫폼을 활용하여 KL-510 활하중 모델을 고려한 프리스트레스트 콘크리트(pre-stressed concrete, PSC)교의 파괴확률과 신뢰도 지수를 도출하고, 그 결과를 분석하여 교량의 구조적 안전성을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 새로운 구조신뢰성 해석 플랫폼을 통해 교량의 효과적인 신뢰도 기반 안전성 평가가 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
