  • The purpose of this study is to analyze visual environmental elements of game space by play-event in adventure games. We extracted common six types of play-event through exploring ten representative adventure games and organized three types of space structure and four types of object as the criteria of analysis. Based on the criteria, we embodied the characteristics of visual environmental elements by performing direct playing and monitoring. As a result, we verified that the story intended and the gameplay induced by the play-event are closely related to visual environmental elements.

  • Even ordinary-looking plays can have a profound meaning. Based on this assumption, Eugene Pink (1960) has established an analytical model of play with five elements, namely "delight", "meaning", "community", "rules" and "tools." It was an effort to reflect on the true meaning of play beyond the cortical entertaining nature of play. In this study, it was carried out that all the texts containing images and performance from the EBS character "Pengsu" were selected, since he emerged as a new star in 2019. And also his play structure was analyzed by applying the Pink's model. As a result, Pengsu's play structure was confirmed to be systematic and complete as a play prototype because it was well-organized with five elements of play. It was regarded as a successful character that skillfully attracts participants to the play world. Among the components of the play, "fun" was found to be his funny appearance, sudden and unconventional behavior, "meaning" was the elimination of authoritarianism, self-esteeming and energizing, "community" was a multi-platform media user who crossed off-on-line, analog-digital-line, "rules" was to set his concept fixed as a young stranger with an ego to unreveal his identity, and "tools" was shown as his character itself and continual discourse. It shows that until now, Pengsu has a social net function of quite spreading the positive meaning of encouragement and comfort, advice and guide, consideration and forgiveness, introspection and nirvana to all members of our society, including the youth who are struggling with uncertainty and anxiety by showing rather exaggerated and stimulating performance that precisely combines these play elements.

  • The purpose of this paper is to find expressions of the Fricke spaces of some basic surfaces which are a three-holed sphere ${\sum}$(0, 3), a one-holed torus ${\sum}$(1, 1), and a four-holed sphere ${\sum}$(0, 4). For this goal, we define the involutions corresponding to oriented axes of loxodromic elements and an inner product <,> which gives the information about locations of axes of loxodromic elements. The signs of traces of holonomy elements, which are calculated by lifting a representation from PSL(2, $\mathbb{C}$) to SL(2, $\mathbb{C}$), play a very important role in determining the discreteness of holonomy groups.

And learning means permanent changes from experiences for the individual's. Play and learning, these two elements are united to the genre of serious game since the GBL (game based learning) was lead. Most importantly, in order to achieve their own Hangul learning is the fun. Coupled with fun and learning has an important issue for flow because concentration is low in infants than adults. In this case study is to know about fun factor has been applied effectively to Hangul serious mobile game. 20 Infant Hangul mobile serious games of Google Android mobile game section were selected as a case study based on more than 10,000 downloads and user's review rate by April 22, 2014. After that is currently available on the market can play a variety of cases of infant learning Hangul from previous research of R.Caillois offers four categories of play. R.Caillois of Agon, Mimicry, Alea, Ilinx have unique characteristics in comparison with its functional characteristics Hangul four are present any role in Hangul serious mobile games. As a result of the cases selected and the rules of the game will include a maximum of two of the most common types of Agon. • The purpose of this paper is to correspond to four-elements in astrology theory, an intellectual from ancient times, that show personality temperament among MBTI, a representative personality type test in modern times, furthermore, by examining 16 personality type cards in tarot, a play culture and fortune telling culture in which the four-element theory is integrated in symbols, it is a comparative consideration that connects the characteristics of the character types contained in them to the 16 personality types of MBTI. The four preferred types of MBTI are Extravesion(E) and Introversion(I), Sensing(S) and Intuition(N), Thinking(T) and Feeling(F), Judgment(J) and Perception(P). Among them, Western four-elements were able to respond to Fire, Water, Air, and Earth in the order of NF(iNtuitive Feeling Type), SF(Sensory Feeling Type), NT(iNtuitive Thinking Type), and ST(Sensory Thinking Type). This is a result that can be derived by comparing individual personality theory and MBTI temperament theory among the symbols contained in ancient astrological theories. And the classification of boys, knights, queens, and kings in the four classes of person cards could be divided according to the MBTI attitude index. The boy showed an adaptive introvert using I and P, the knight showed an adaptive extrovert using E and P, the queen showed a decisive introvert using I and J, and the king showed an adaptive extrovert using E and J.

  • Within green facades, the greening side of the wall is first recognized by people, leaving a visually lasting impression. As facades play a crucial factor in forming street image, their design can be considered most important. In modern days, 'patterns,' one of the popular elements of design, has developed into becoming a method of expressing architects' emotions or images as well as ways of seeking satisfaction. As opposed to recent overseas movement where patterned green facades have been widely utilized, the domestic trend still remains in outdoor green facades without patterns. This study, focusing on overseas patterned green facades, classifies the facade pattern's expressive methods into two greater parts, and four categories. Furthermore, among the elements and properties from Biophilic pattern guidelines, we specifically focus on 'Repetition Pattern,' which corresponds to 'Complexity & Order.' Biophilic design has the notion of pursuing an environment that aids modern people's comfort and well being. Providing information on patterned green facades that have largely gained popularity, this study also presents its aesthetic directions that may be applicable domestically in the future.

  • Building-integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) systems can operate as a multi-functional building components, which generates electricity and serves as part of building envelope. It can be regarded as a new architectural elements, adding to the building's aesthetics. Besides of these benefits, the application of PV systems into school buildings tends to play an important role in energy education to students. In this context, this study aims to analyse the applicability of PV systems into school buildings. For an existing school building, four types of BIPV designs were developed; rooftops, wall-attached, wall-mounted with angle, and sunshading device. Based on energy modeling of those BIPV systems, the whole 60.1kWp rated PV installation is expected to yield about 65.6MWh of electricity, that is about 50% more than the annual electricity consumption of the school, 44MWh. It was also found that the applicability of the PV systems into the school building was very high, and the rooftop systems with the optimized angle was the most efficient in energy production, followed by sunshading, wall-mounted with angle and wall-attached. It concludes that school buildings have a reasonable potential to apply PV systems in the aspects of building elements and electricity production.
