PURPOSES : Most of the traffic surveys are carried out by an inspection method by the manpower. In some cases, the video equipment is used only in some regions when the traffic volume is surveyed. In this case, there is environmental restriction that the road equipment to fix the video equipment should exist. Also, in areas where information such as digital maps and satellite photographs is old or not provided, they are forced to rely on manpower research, but it is difficult to put huge amounts of time and money into the research in places where labor supply and demand is difficult. This difficulty is particularly pronounced in overseas business. METHODS : The purpose of this study is to improve the efficiency of business by using the drones in the traffic investigation through analysis of the cost reduction effect between the existing method and the proposed method in the overseas business traffic survey. The scope of the research is limited to the scope of research, and based on the case of overseas projects, the method of using drone for each research sector is suggested. RESULTS : In the traffic condition survey section, we propose the use of drone for traffic survey and queue length survey, and it is confirmed that there is a cost saving effect of 16% ~ 27% compared with the existing method. In the road condition survey, we propose the use of drones for road surface linear survey, geometry survey, and obstacle survey, and it was confirmed that the cost reduction effect is 39% ~ 93% compared to the existing method. CONCLUSIONS : In addition to overseas business, it is expected that it will have a positive effect on research time and cost reduction by using drone in traffic survey in domestic area where labor supply is not easy or basic data is insufficient.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the maintenance condition and cost in the past ten year on the subject of permanent Rental Housing in Seoul and Gyeong-Gi. It also suggests the problems and improvements related to long-term maintenance. The Interviews with thirty experts who have had experience in this area more than ten years and data analysis are adopted as basic methods. The data on the maintenance cost such as a budget in practice by a term and the real cost far the repair are analyzed. The primary findings of this study are as follows : 1) the rate of maintenance cost for 13 years is $4.56\%$ when the prime construction cost is regarded, while the figure is $6.70\%$ when the construction cost is considered 2) it is just of forced the basic lists for repair applied commonly to Rental housing. Hence, individually managers consider the features of housing and determine the detail lists.

Objectives: This study aims to identify whether ventilation conditions and their effectiveness can be significantly improved in an experimental chamber by increasing the mixing factor (K-Factor). Methods: In a chamber with a volume of $1m^3$, air velocity was measured at six different points with four roof fans in the upper part of the chamber being operated in order. The impact of the ventilation conditions was analyzed when the flow rates were increasing and the first inlet of the chamber was either open or closed. Smoke patterns were also observed at four corner points where ventilation was limited. Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests were performed to compare air velocities measured in the chamber. Results: The air velocities measured at only the third point increased significantly from $0.03{\pm}0.03m/s$ (door open) and $0.05{\pm}0.06m/s$ (door closed) with two fans, $0.08{\pm}0.08m/s$ with three fans, and $0.09{\pm}0.09m/s$ with four fans operating (p<0.05). However, air velocities at the four corner points did not significantly increase. Smoke patters also showed that the open inlet of the chamber had no effect on improvement of ventilation conditions and effectiveness. Conclusions: In this study, the air velocities at six points in the chamber did not significantly increase despite the increase in the mixing factor and flow rates of ventilation in the controlled environment. Therefore, the inflow of outdoor air throughout an open inlet and installation of a forced ventilation system can potentially increase the indoor air velocity and improve ventilation condition without an increase in the mixing factor.
Background: Both objective body shape and perceived body image have been known to influence the mental health. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of a combination between actual body mass index (BMI) status and perceived body image with anxiety depressive condition (ADC) in Korean men and women. Methods: This cross-sectional study analyzed data of 26,239 subjects ${\geq}20$ years old from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2010-2014). This study performed a Rao-Scott chi-square and multivariate logistic regression analyses reflecting survey characteristics and used a variety of independent variables such as socio-demographics and health behavior factors. Results: With all independent variables considered, people with normal weight who perceived themselves as overweight were more likely associated with ADC than a referent group with normal weight who perceived themselves as normal weight, as shown for both men (odds ratio [OR], 1.52; confidence interval [CI], 1.07-2.15) and women (OR, 1.25; CI, 1.06-1.48). Meanwhile, compared to the referent group, men with underweight who perceived themselves as underweight showed a lower association with ADC (OR, 0.63; CI, 0.41-0.97), whereas women with underweight who perceived themselves as underweight showed its higher association (OR, 1.47; CI, 1.10-1.96). Conclusion: A certain group of people categorized as a combination between actual BMI status and perceived body image showed a relatively high likelihood of having ADC, and the gender difference in the likelihood of having the condition for a group was clear. Therefore, this study suggests the need to identify the group at a high risk of ADC on the basis of actual BMI status and perceived body image and to develop an appropriate mental health management program for the group.
The objective of the study which utilised population based data was to determine the respiratory condition of elementary school children in Gangneung. From October 9th to December 14th, 2006, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) including Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) and Forced Expiratoy Volume in I Second $(FEV_1)$ were conducted on the target group of children using a spirometer. The prevalence of asthmatic symptoms was 29.8% among boys and 39.6% among girls. By using logistic regression, we found that family history of allergic rhinitis (OR=3.90, CI=1.05-14.51), experience of allergic conjunctivitis (OR=4.67, CI=1.54-14.16) and atopic dermatitis (OR=2.86, CI=1.17-7.05) significantly increased the asthmatic symptoms. Also, a family history of asthma and food allergy were associated with asthmatic symptoms. In relation to housing and environmental risk factors, residences under the ground (OR=3.59, CI=1.35-9.51) and big-size dolls (OR=2.71, CI=0.86-8.53) significantly increased the prevalence of asthmatic symptoms. For PFT, above four families, exposure of passive smoking and pets significantly reduced FVC in both groups (p<0.05). In girls, a big-size doll was significantly associated with decreased lung function (FVC and $FEV_1$). In boys, using bed significantly reduced $FEV_1$. Also, the risk of asthmatic symptoms was found to increase when the house has been built for 5 years or more, the house is close to a road $({\leq}100m)$, a gas/Kerosene heater or carpet is utilized within the house. However, their differences were not significant. It is concluded that genetic factor such as a family history of respiratory disease, allergic symptoms and housing risk factor are related to asthmatic symptoms. These results were worth noting because the findings will help address risk factors related respiratory symptoms especially in relation to housing and environment.
In the cultivation of Bupleurum falcatum, one of the problems to surmount is long-term germination period and unstable germination. This experiment was done to examine the effect of $GA_3$ concentration [0(water), 0.01, 0.lmM], chilling, their treatment period [2, 4, 8 days ($GA_3$) : 0, 2, 4 weeks (chilling)] and light quality (red, white, dark) given during the period as pretreatment before sowing on the seed germination of its two cultivars (cv. Jaerae, cv. Jangsu). Light treatment was given during all the periods of $GA_3$ treatment or for 0, 2, 4 days at the end of the chilling treatment. There was no difference in the mean germination rate between the levels of all the treatments except the $GA_3$ concentration meaning that water imbibition and $GA_3$ treatment had the same effect. As light quality treatment during the water imbibition was forced, the mean germination rate of Jaerae, 2 to 4 days imbibition period or red light was more increased or accelerated compared to the other levels of the same treatment, respectively. The rate of Jaerae not affected by the light quality was the greatest in the 2 days water imbibition while the rate of Jangsu was the greatest when water-imbibed for 4 days or treated by red light. No chilling before sowing showed the highest rate due to the light quality and white light forced after sowing had greater rate than the dark treatment. Although there was no difference between the rates of light quality treatment levels in the condition of no chilling before sowing and white light treatment after sowing, the rate of Jangsu was enhanced or accelerated only under illumination during 2 days water imbibition before sowing.

The purpose of this study is to effectively mitigate the bending displacement that occurs in the bridge due to forced vibration. We developed CTMD (Combine Tuned Mass Damper) that combines the relationship between spring and mass to control the bending behavior of simple beams. The experiment was conducted to confirm the control effect according to the change in the mass ratio of the developed CTMD. The developed CTMD is designed and manufactured so that the mass ratio can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the bridge. The maximum load of the spring applied to CTMD was fixed at 33.15 N. In order to evaluate the performance of the developed CTMD, a simple beam composed of hinges and rollers as boundary conditions was fabricated. In the experimental method, a CTMD was installed in the center of a simple beam and the deflection displacement according to the mass ratio was measured. The shaking condition was shaken at 3 Hz to induce the maximum bending behavior of the simple beam. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that when the optimal mass ratio was 2.1, the damping rate of the bending behavior displacement was about 71.2 %, indicating the best control effect.

The traction system has been mainly used for rehabilitation and correction of patients with spine or gait diseases in orthopedics or at home. Some problems could occur in human body when patients forced their training using the traction system. So it needs to measure a traction force and control the training time. However, most of products on market have no sensor measuring traction force. Thus we designed and made a sensor detecting traction force using strain gauge, amplifier for transition to output signal and experiment devices for performance test. We carried out experiment of a sensor detecting a traction force and measured electric responses of it with respect to traction loads. Maximum error was within about 1% for experiments in static condition and the average error was about 0.7% for experiments in dynamic condition. We concluded that it is possible to use the developed sensor for measurement of traction force since the maximum output variation of a sensor detecting a traction force was about 0.3% in $0^{\circ}C-60^{\circ}C$ temperature condition.

This paper presents a model simulating the folding process and collision dynamics of "ddakji", a traditional Korean game played using paper tiles (which are also referred to as ddakji). The model uses two A4 sheets as the base materials for ddakji. The folding process involves a series of boundary conditions that transform the wing part of the paper structure into a twisted configuration. A rigid plate boundary condition is also adopted for squeezing, establishing the shape and stress state of the game-ready ddakji through dynamic relaxation analysis. The gaming process analysis involves a forced displacement of the striking ddakji to a predetermined collision position. Collision analysis then follows at a given speed, with the objective of overturning the struck ddakji--a winning condition. A genetic algorithm-based optimization analysis identifies the optimal collision conditions that result in the overturning of the struck ddakji. For efficiency, the collision analysis is divided into two stages, with the second stage carried out only if the first stage predicts a possible overturn. The fitness function for the genetic algorithm during the first stage is the direction cosine of the struck ddakji, whereas in the second stage, it is the inverse of the speed, thus targeting the lowest overall collision speed. Consequently, this analysis provides optimal collision conditions for various compression thicknesses.

The effect of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) in the storability of kimchi cabbage at cold storage condition was investigated. Kimchi cabbage (Brassica campestris L. cv Ryouckgwang) was divided four groups, forced air cooling (FAC), FAC + 0.03 mm linear low density polyethylene liner (Liner), $FAC+2{\mu}L{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 1-MCP (1-MCP), and FAC + 1-MCP + Liner. After each treatment kimchi cabbage was stored at $2^{\circ}C$, 95% RH. Quality parameters were weight loss, soluble solids content (SSC), firmness, and color ($CIE\;L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$, chroma, hue angle). Weight loss during storage was showed significant difference by Liner treatment. In particular FAC + 1-MCP + Liner treatment showed 12.5% reduction after 6 weeks of storage period and minimized the weight loss rate compared to other treatments. SSC of kimchi cabbage was $2.5^{\circ}Brix$ at harvest and FAC + 1-MCP + Liner treatment maintained the SSC until 3 weeks, while in other treatments gradually were increased. The firmness of kimchi cabbage was 24.0 N immediately after harvest and the firmness at harvest time tended to be maintained at 22.6 N after 6 weeks of storage in FAC + 1-MCP + Liner treatment. During the storage period, the color change of the kimchi cabbage leaf can be confirmed by $CIE\;a^*$ and hue angle value. 1-MCP treatment alone did not affect the color change, however 1-MCP + Liner treatment was able to maintain the chromaticity at harvest time while minimizing the change of $CIE\;a^*$ and hue angle. These results suggest that 1-MCP treatment is not effective for the storage of kimchi cabbage but can be maintained for up to 6 weeks when treated with Liner.
