자동변속기 클러치 시스템의 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Characteristics of Clutch System for an Automatic Transmission)

  • In this paper, dynamic characteristics of an AT clutch system were investigated considering the dynamics of check ball and hydraulic control valves. Dynamic model of a pressure control solenoid valve (PCSV) was obtained by Bondgraph and permeance method. Also, the clutch piston and check ball dynamics were modeled by considering the effect of centrifugal force of the oil entrapped in the clutch chamber. In order to validate the dynamic models obtained, plunger displacement of PCSV and pressure response of the clutch supply lines were compared with the available experimental data, which were in good accordance with the numerical results. Using the dynamic model of the clutch system, simulations were performed to investigate the effect of the rotational speed on the response of clutch cylinder pressure, clutch piston and check ball displacement, and oil flow rate into the cylinder and flow rate out of the check valve.

수동변속기 헬리컬 기어치의 접촉력 평가를 통한 변형간섭 해석 (Tooth Load Sharing and Deformation Overlap of Helical Gear Pairs for the Manual Transmission of Automobile)

  • The load sharing and teeth deflection of helical gear system are analyzed to investigate the deformation overlap. The deformation overlap, which is calculated by the results of displacement analysis, is suggested as the basis for the tooth profile modification. Helical gear systems are formulated as contact problems, and solved by elastic contact theory and FEM. The developed computer program, which offers gear teeth deflection and deformation overlap, will be of much help to the improved design of manual transmissions for automobiles.

동력전달 시스템의 최적화를 위한 축 해석 모델 개발 (Development of Shaft Analysis Model for Power Transmission System Optimization)

  • This study develops a shaft analysis model for the optimization of the power transmission system. The finite element method was used for the shaft analysis model. The shaft and gear were assumed Timoshenko beams. Strength was evaluated according to DIN 743, and gear misalignment was calculated through ISO 6336 and the coordinate system rotation. The analysis software for a power transmission system was developed using Visual Studio 2019. The analysis results of the developed program were compared with those of commercial software (MASTA, KISSsoft, and Romax). We confirmed that the force, deformation, and safety factors at each node were the same as those of the commercial software. The absolute value of the gear misalignment of the developed program and commercial software was different. However, the gear misalignment tended to increase with increasing the displacement in the tooth width direction.

  • This paper represents the study on the development of semi-active bicycle suspension system. The road vibration and transmissibility of front suspension are obtained by driving test on proving ground. The numerical simulation is evaluated by dynamic system modeling and equation of motion. The numerical simulation are performed to estimate the optimal damping force for minimal vibration transmission. And oscillating displacement is calculated and analyzed. Therefore the stoke which convert the damping characteristics is suggested from the driving test and numerical simulation.

기어 치형의 미성형 구간 최소화를 위한 배압 냉간 단조 성형 해석 (Back-pressure cold forging analysis to minimize non-forming area of gear teeth)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 자동변속기의 핵심 부품인 아웃풋 허브 및 리액션 허브의 치형 미성형 구간의 최소화를 위한 배압 냉간 단조 성형 공법에 대한 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 변위제어해석으로 펀치 하중 및 슬리브 배압력을 도출하였고, 도출된 하중 및 배압력을 이용한 하중제어해석을 수행하여 상호 검증을 하였다. 변위제어해석과 하중제어해석이 유사한 경향을 보였으며, 아웃풋 허브와 리액션 허브의 미성형 구간을 기준 이하로 만족시키기 위한 펀치 하중과 슬리브 배압력을 구하였다. 리액션 허브의 펀치 하중이 아웃풋 허브 보다 큰 이유는 상부 치형 가공 시 리액션 허브의 단면감소율이 아웃풋 허브 보다 크기 때문인 것으로 판단되며, 슬리브 배압력이 아웃풋허브와 리액션 허브에서 차이가 나는 것 또한 슬리브 단면적의 차이에 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서 제시한 배압 냉간 단조 성형 해석 과정과 결과를 적용한 실제 치형 가공의 미성형 구간 결과와 비교하여 검증 평가하였으며, 치형 제품의 품질 개선 및 생산성 향상을 위해 요구되는 성형가공 조건을 도출하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • In this study, a novel actuator was developed by employing the newly-synthesized ionic networking membrane (INM) of poly (styrene-alt-maleic anhydride) (PSMAn)-incorporated poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF). Based on the same original membrane, various samples of INM actuator were prepared through different reduction times with the electroless-plating technique. The as-prepared INM actuators were tested in terms of surface resistance, platinum morphology, resonance frequency, tip displacement, current and blocked force, and their performance was compared to that of the widely-used traditional Nafion actuator. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed that much smaller and more uniform platinum particles were formed on the surfaces of the INM actuators as well as within their polymer matrix. Although excellent harmonic response was observed for the newly-developed INM actuators, this was found to be sensitive to the applied reduction times during the fabrication. The mechanical displacement of the INM actuator fabricated after optimum reduction times was much larger than that of its Nafion counterpart of comparable thickness under the stimulus of constant and alternating current voltage.

송전철탑의 내풍안전성 평가를 위한 1/2축소부분구조 실험 (Half-Scaled Substructure Test for the Performance Evaluation of a Transmission Tower subjected to Wind Load)

  • 본 논문에서는 풍하중에 대한 기존 송전철탑의 좌굴 및 구조적 안전성을 평가하기 위해서 축소부분구조 실험을 수행하였다. 원 송전철탑에 작용하는 중력 및 풍하중을 재현하기 위해서 1/2크기의 상사법칙을 적용한 축소모델의 상부에 설치된 삼각형태의 지그를 이용하여 가력하는 방법을 고안하였다. 설계하중에 대한 실험체의 안정성을 평가하기 위해서 예비수치 해석을 수행한 결과, 계산된 주주재의 축력은 허용좌굴하중의 $80{\sim}90%$사이에 분포하고 있음을 확인하였다. 최대허용좌굴 하중의 270%까지 가력한 결과, 주주재의 면외거동을 구속하는데 취약한 절점에서 발생한 국부좌굴로 인하여 송전철탑이 파괴되었다. 하중-변위 곡선, 변위, 부재별 변형률을 검토한 결과, 이러한 국부좌굴의 발생은 동일한 단면내에서도 휨모멘트로 인해 항복응력에 도달하는 시간이 위치별로 다르기 때문에 변형의 불균형에 의해서 발생한 부가적인 편심에 기인한 것으로 판단된다.

임의 모형의 Microbending에 의한 다중모드 광섬유의 광손실에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Power Loss in the Multimode Optical Fiber Microbended into Arbitrary Shape)

  • Guide modes in a graded index multinmode optical fiber are turned into clad modes when the optical fiber was bended into a perpendicular direction to its optical axes by microbending forces, which causes the loss of the guiding optical power. The theories reported on this microbending power loss can be applied to calculation of the transmission power loss only when the beding period equals to the mode coupling length. In this paper, we obtained the general expression of the optical power transmission loss in a graded index multimode fiber bended periodically. This can be applied to the calculation of the power loss of the periodically microbended fiber with an arbitrary bending shape and period. Also, by using the beam theory in mechanics, we could derive the expression of the displacement of the optical fiber caused by the external force which bends the fiber into a periodic trapezoidal shape. Experiments were carried out to determine the dependence of the power loss on the period of the microbending forces. Experimnetal results were in good agreement (in the same order of the magnitude) with theoritical values derived in our work within the bending period region of 2mm-10mm.

페달의 내구성에 대한 구조 해석 (Structural Analysis on Durability of Pedal)

  • In this study, the deformation, stress, vibration, fatigue life and the probability of damage are analyzed at the pedal applied by the force of 300N. The maximum stress at the lower of pedal is shown as 20.801MPa. And the maximum displacement is 0.85mm at the maximum response frequency as 3800Hz. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sample history' becomes most stable. In case of 'Sample history' with the average stress of 0 to $-10^{5}MPa$ and the amplitude stress of 0 to $10^{5}MPa$, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 0.6%. This stress state can be shown with 5 times more than the damage possibility of 'SAE bracket history' or 'SAE transmission'. The structural result of this study can be effectively improved with the design of pedal by investigating durability against its damage.

전달강성계수법을 이용한 보강재를 갖는 사각평판의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of a Rectangular Plate with Stiffeners Using the Transfer Stiffness Coefficient Method)

  • The vibration analysis of a rectangular plate with stiffeners is formulated by using the transfer stiffness coefficient method (TSCM). This method is based on the concept of the successive transmission of stiffness coefficients which are defined as the relationship between the force vector and the displacement vector at an arbitrary nodal line. In order to confirm the validity of the present method, bending vibration analysis for a rectangular plate with stiffener is carried out on a personal computer by using the present method and the finite element method (FEM). Through comparing computational results of the TSCM and the FEM, the effectivness of the TSCM from the viewpoint of computational cost, that is, computational time and storage is demonstrated.
