사족보행 로봇의 개발을 위한 생체모방적 접근 (Biologically Inspired Approach for the Development of Quadruped Walking Robot)

  • In this paper, we present a comprehensive study for the development of quadruped walking robot. To understand the walking posture of a tetrapod animal, we begin with a careful observation on the skeletal system of tertapod animals. From taking a side view of their skeletal system, it is noted that their fore limbs and hind limbs perform characteristic roles during walking. Moreover, the widths of footprints and energy efficiency in walking have a close relationship through taking a front view of their walking posture. According to these observations, we present a control method where the kinematical solutions are not necessary because we develop a new rhythmic gait pattern for the quadruped walking robot. Though the proposed control method and rhythmic pattern are simple, they can provide the suitable motion planning for the robot since the resultant movement is based on the animal's movements. The validity of the proposed idea is demonstrated through dynamic simulations.

  • This study is mainly acceptive for physical material performance than waterproofing layer performance on the external condition after construction. The reason are legalized only for material performance quality standard even though it is existed waterproofing materials for membrane. In actuality, waterproofing layer are greatly occurred in performance a decreased developing essential element that are human footprints as a result physical perimeter environment after construction and on the construction. As the result, this present paper purpose for evaluation and performance of the membrane waterproofing layer on the construction.

  • A generation of tall buildings has been dominated by International Style with full height glazing that is often vision glass. Large glass was intended to bring the outside in, to allow a connection to the natural environment, and to promote daylighting. Yet the glass box model of architecture is now under criticism due to expense to build, thermal and visual comfort issues for occupants, large carbon footprints, danger for birds, and aesthetic concerns with lack of transparency. This paper will take a fresh look at glass, transparency, energy consumption, and human health before offering alternative paths forward.

  • Education is the study of work-related education and human aspects. Therefore, it should be understood first fully human. Education is not possible to leave the understanding of human nature. In particular, the history of educational development in China can be grasped by understanding the Humanism Theory. Therefore, to study the evolution of China Humanism Theory to find the historical footprints of Chinese education. Humanism Theory will be able to recognize the impact on educational theory development in China. In conclusion, character education is to increase the economic and social status is revealed and influenced. That the Humanism can grow through training and education is a common opinion of many scholars.

Modeling temporal cadastre for land information management

  • Time is regarded as an essential feature of land information enabling to track historical landmarks of land uses, ownerships, and taxations based on cadastral maps. Object-oriented temporal modeling helps to simulate and imitate time-varying cadastral data in a chronological and persistent manner. The aim of study is to analyze the role of temporal cadastre tracing footprints of foregoing events in response to various needs and demands associated with historical information of cadastral transactions. In this paper, temporal cadastral object model (TCOM) is proposed to delineate object version history. As an evidence of a new approach and conceptual idea for the importance of temporal cadastre, a part of spatio-temporal processes is illustrated to explain major changes of cadastral map. The feasibility and application of the approach is confirmed by proof-of-concept of temporal cadastre in land information management.

A Sequential LiDAR Waveform Decomposition Algorithm

  • LiDAR waveform decomposition plays an important role in LiDAR data processing since the resulting decomposed components are assumed to represent reflection surfaces within waveform footprints and the decomposition results ultimately affect the interpretation of LiDAR waveform data. Decomposing the waveform into a mixture of Gaussians involves two related problems; 1) determining the number of Gaussian components in the waveform, and 2) estimating the parameters of each Gaussian component of the mixture. Previous studies estimated the number of components in the mixture before the parameter optimization step, and it tended to suggest a larger number of components than is required due to the inherent noise embedded in the waveform data. In order to tackle these issues, a new LiDAR waveform decomposition algorithm based on the sequential approach has been proposed in this study and applied to the ICESat waveform data. Experimental results indicated that the proposed algorithm utilized a smaller number of components to decompose waveforms, while resulting IMP value is higher than the GLA14 products.

Performance Study of Defected Ground Structure Patch Antenna with Etched psi (ψ) Shaped Stubs

  • In this article, a novel design of patch antenna with wide band characteristics is presented. The proposed antenna is having electrical dimensions of $0.14{\lambda}{\times}0.11{\lambda}$ (at lower initial frequency) and footprints of $150mm^2$. Structural parameters optimization shows 3.1-23.5 GHz frequency range for a (reflection coefficient) $S_{11}{\leq}-10dB$ and simulated gain 6.8 dB is obtained. An equivalent circuit model is proposed to get an insight view of antenna. Advanced Systems Design (ADS) simulation results are obtain which confirm the validity of proposed model. Degenerated foster canonical form has been used to explain the reactance and capacitive behavior idea of simulated proposed antenna's input impedance later on an equivalent circuit model and smith chart is also suggested. HFSS and CST have been used to analyze antenna behavior. The proposed antenna can be further used for microwave image detection applications.

천연기념물 진주 충무공동 익룡·새·공룡발자국 화석산지의 오염물 형성 메커니즘과 관리방안 (Contaminant Mechanism and Management of Tracksite of Pterosaurs, Birds, and Dinosaurs in Chungmugong-dong, Jinju, Korea)

  • 익룡 발자국의 개체 및 밀집도 측면에서 세계 최대 규모로 알려진 진주 충무공동 익룡·새·공룡발자국 화석산지는 2011년 천연기념물로 지정된 이래, 2018년 일부 화석층을 현장 보존하기 위해 보호각을 설치하였다. 이 중 제2보호각에 관리중인 화석층은 기 보고된 발자국 중 약 17%에 달하는 익룡·수각류·조각류 발자국(총 679개)이 단일 층준에서 발견되어 학술적 가치가 크지만 물리적, 화학적 손상이 지속적으로 발생하여 발자국의 관찰에 어려움이 있다. 특히 화석층 표면을 피복하는 유백색 오염물은 석고와 대기오염물로 구성된 복합체의 누적현상에서 기인한다. 오염물을 구성하는 석고는 화석층 하부층준에서 기원한 칼슘과 잔디의 생육활동으로 공급되는 황이 보호각 후방의 잔디가 식재된 토양층에서 집수된 지하수에 의해 용출되고, 보호각의 일대의 수분 순환 과정에서 화석층 표면에 증발잔류하며 결정화된다. 또 다른 오염물 구성체인 화분·광물 등은 분진 배출이 어려운 보호각 갤러리창을 통해 풍성으로 유입된다. 따라서 상이한 기원을 가진 두 오염물로부터 화석층을 보존하기 위해서는 보호각의 수분 및 대기 순환 제어와 지속적인 오염물 제거가 필요하다. 분진상의 석고와 대기 오염물은 스팀 세정법으로 충분한 제거 효과가 있으며, 암회색 셰일인 화석층은 레이저 흡수능이 커 흔적화석과 퇴적구조의 물리적 손실을 동반하는 레이저 세정법은 가급적 지양하는 것이 바람직하다.

국내 물 자원 통계자료 분석을 통한 물발자국 방법론 국내 적용 가능성 확인 연구 (A Study on the Applicability of Water Footprint Methodology in Korea by Analyzing Domestic Water Resources Statistics)

  • 물발자국은 EU가 추진하고 있는 자원효율적인 유럽을 위한 로드맵(Roadmap to a Resource Efficient Europe)을 바탕으로 제시된 친환경제품 시장통합정책(Single Market for Green Product initiative)의 중요한 구성요소이다. 2014년 7월 EU 회원국의 주도로 물발자국 산정 국제표준(ISO 14046)이 제정되었으며 우리나라도 한국산업표준(KS I ISO 14046)으로 2015년 4월 부합화를 완료하였다. 국제표준(ISO 14046)에 기반을 둔 인증제도가 도입되는 경우, 기반을 갖추지 못한 인도, 베트남 등의 개도국에게는 수출시 무역장벽이 될 수 있으므로 우리나라는 이를 역이용하기 위한 전략을 수립해야 한다. 한편, 물발자국은 전과정평가(LCA)를 적용한 유사 발자국(예, 탄소발자국)인증과 비교할 때 국지적(Local) 환경영향을 고려하도록 되어 있어, 우리나라에서 생산 및 제조되는 제품들은 우리나라 수역에 미치는 영향을 고려해야 한다. 따라서 물발자국 산정방법은 국내외 호환을 위해 표준에 적합해야 하며, 우리나라의 물 환경을 고려하기 위해서 우리나라 적합한 물발자국 산정계수들의 도출이 필요하다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 국제표준을 바탕으로, 현재 국내 외에서 진행된 물발자국 산정연구를 검토하고 국내 기존 물 자원 관련 통계자료 분석을 통해 물발자국 방법론의 국내 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.
