The online retail market continues to grow, especially in China, as e-commerce has developed rapidly in recent years in many countries. Meanwhile, the development and use of new network information technology provides consumers with various contact and experience environments for online shopping. Based on the theory of media weakness, the study began to focus consumer experience on the nature of commercial transactions. The study proposed and designed an initial measure of the consumer information evaluation index, which combines previous findings with implications. Finally, the five-dimensional B2C system was established to evaluate consumers' information experience providing information display, information interaction, information support and information personalization. We researched on evaluation index system for information experience of B2C e-commerce consumers based on samples of Chinese consumers.

In Korea, countermeasures against earthquake disasters such as the seismic performance evaluation and/or retrofit scheme of buildings have not been fully performed since Korea had not been experienced many destructive earthquakes in the past. The main objective of this paper is to propose the basic seismic protection index (Es) suitable to Korean buildings based on the seismic evaluation of existing reinforced concrete buildings using modified strength index. This paper will focus on 1) the selection of weak and moderate earthquake waves representing Korean seismic zone, 2) the creation of the required strength ratio spectra by seismic response analysis, and 3) the proposition of the basic seismic protection index (Es) suitable to Korean seismic activity based on required strength ratio spectra

This paper considers the technological competitiveness of aircraft infra industries that are bases of the aircraft industry development in Korea. We performed focus group interviews to aircraft industry specialists and classified the aircraft infra industries by eight fields: metallurgical assembly, general machinery, precision instruments, materials & parts, communication appliances, computer, semi-conductor/ electronic component, electronics. Through the United States patents analysis for the G7 countries and Korea during 1995-2006, we identified the technological specificities and competences of each country. RTA(Revealed Technology Advantage) index and CII(Current Impact Index) are used to examine the technological specificity and technological competence respectively. Finally, we introduced TCI(Technological Competitiveness Index) which could reflect quantitative level as well as qualitative level of patents for each aircraft infra industry. The results show that Korea has occupied the technological competitiveness in the semi-conductor and electronic component industry out of eight aircraft infra industries, and achieved a competitive edge in communication appliance industry in the mid 2000s.

The process capability indices are widely used to measure the capability of the process to manufacture items within the specified tolerance. Most evaluations on process capability indices focus on point estimates, which may result in unreliable assessments of process performance. The index $C_p$ has been widely used in various industries to assess process performance. In this paper, we propose new testing procedure on assessing $C_p$ index for practitioners to use in determining whether a given process is capable. The provided approach is easy to use and the decision making is more reliable. Whether a process is clearly normal or nonnormal, our bootstrap testing procedure could be applied effectively without the complexity of calculation. A numerical result based on the proposed approach is illustrated.

Customer Satisfaction Management(CSM) is becoming more common and the importance of measuring the CS Index(CSI) is getting higher and higher. Furthermore, the existing CSI have many problems in view of the link between enterprise result and those indecision, which could not explain the links clearly. Therefore, NPS(Net Promoter Score) index have been developed by Fred Reichheld and the NPS shows up rapidly and attract attention. In this paper, we provide conceptual frameworks on the links among the latent variables(total CSI, elementary CS and the referral) and propose more effective and practical index between CSI and the "would recommend" index through testing the Structural Equation Model(SEM) on "CSI${\leftrightarrow}$would recommend${\leftrightarrow}$referral".

Evaluation indices for products or services are important to improve the internal process of the company and to compare those with competitive ones. The sigma level in Six Sigma management does important role to evaluate the core characteristic, CTQ(Critical To Quality), derived in the considered product/service or process. In this research, we propose an overall evaluation index for the product/service or process with multiple characteristics, in other words, multiple CTQs. The proposed overall evaluation index is useful for the cases that the single CTQ is not enough to evaluate the practical interests, for example, the final products and services with complex procedures and relatively large scaled processes. This approach is discussed with sigma level for applying Six Sigma Projects, however, it is applicable to indices based on proportion or percentage as well. The practical examples with a manufacturing process and a customer survey based on focus group interview are given for illustrations.

Recently, increasing attention has been paid to IT outsourcing and core competency of the corporation. Many companies are expected to focus on core competency rather than reduce IT cost from IT Outsourcing. But, by this time there are no a framework for evaluating intensity of core competency and maturity of IT outsourcing capability. This paper is conducted to provide a framework for evaluating intensity of core competency and maturity of IT outsourcing capability. This paper is to verify if the company's core competency and IT outsourcing capability have a significant influence on each other.

The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of nutrition education program on anthropometric values and boichemical index in obese children who live in Gumi city. The subjects were 16 obese boys, 20 obese girls with obesity index over 130 and 36 of their parents. The nutrition education was carried out by the professional personnel such as doctors, professors, and dietitians. The children were provided with well-balanced lunch meals and had 40min-lectures on the reasonable weight management, 40 min-games and also had regular exercises (stretching, swimming) for 90 mins everyday during 2weeks of the program. The parents had 90 min-lectures on childhood obesity, diet therapy, behavior modification, and exercise for 6times. After the program, obesity index, BMI, % body fat were significantly decreased (p < 0.05) in boys and obese index, BMI, % body fat and WHR were significantly decreased (p < 0.05) in girls. Blood cholesterol and TG levels of girls were significantly decreased (p < 0.05). These findings show that the well-designed nutrition education program for obese children can be an effective approach to help them to improve their anthropometric values and biochemical index.

Focusing is the principal factor that decides the image quality. In the low illuminance condition, captured images with a digital camera usually blurred because the autofocus system of the camera fail to detect the in-focus position. The failure of focusing is due to thermal noise in the captured image. In this paper, we propose a new focus detection algorithm. The proposed algorithm use the new focusing index which is weighted sum of the high-frequency energy and mid-frequency energy. The weight is determined by the local variance of the image. The proposed algorithm performs stable focusing detection with in the low illuminance condition.

Korean auto mobile industry has been contributed to development on national economy for last 30 years. Especially, The fact is that latest increasement of Korean automobile selling is worthy of notice in U.S. market which is the biggest automobile market of the world. But development of automobile industry unattainable nothing of helping of auto parts industry. So, when we discuss about growth of automobile industry, we also have to consider role of auto parts industry at the same time. The purpose of this study was to analyze exporting competition of Korean auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the Korean auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the world by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Also we measured Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. Analyzing period was 1998-2004. The results of Index of Export Bias indicated that HS Code No. 8708.50, 8708.91 represented over 3 numerical value and 8708.92, 8708.60, 8708.39, 8708.29 represented over 2 numerical value. Additional results indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained exporting competition in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.93, 8708.92. The products which will have exporting competition in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.99,
