칫솔두부크기와 짜는 방법에 따른 일회 세치제 사용량 조사 (A Survey on the Amount used of Toothpaste According to the Size of Head of Toothbrush and Squeezing Method)

  • 본 연구는 과량의 불소세치제 사용을 예방하기 위하여 만3~6세 아동의 불소세치제 사용량을 비교 평가하고자 충남 홍성군에 위치한 어린이집 5곳의 84명을 대상으로 칫솔두부크기와 세치제 짜는 방법에 따른 세치제량을 비교하였고, 실제적으로 어린이를 대상으로 구강보건교육을 시행하고 있는 구강보건교육자인 치위생과 학생 141명을 대상으로 콩알크기(pea-size)로 짜는 방법과, 소량의 세치제를 묻히는(smear) 방법으로 짠 세치제 양을 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 어린이용 칫솔에 짠 불소세치제의 양은 0.29 g이었고, 성인용 칫솔에 짠 불소세치제의 양 은 0.34 g으로 유의한 차이가 나타나 작은 크기의 칫솔로 짰을 때 더 적은양의 세치제를 사용하는 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05). 2. 3-6세 아동이 평소 통상적으로 짜는 방법대로 짠 양이 0.31 g이었고, 콩알크기(pea-size)로 짠 양이 0.21 g이었으며, 소량의 세치제를 묻히는(smear) 방법을 이용하여 짠 양은 0.26 g으로 조사되어, 평소 통상적으로 짜는 방법보다 콩알크기(pea-size)로 짜는 방법이나 소량의 세치제를 묻히는(smear) 방법을 이용하면 더 적은양의 불소세치제를 사용할 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05). 3. 치위생과 학생들을 조사한 결과 콩알크기(pea-size)로 짰을 때의 양은 0.23 g이었고, smear 방법을 이용했을 때는 0.15 g으로 조사되어, 소량의 세치제를 묻히는(smear) 방법을 이용했을 때 더 적은 양의 불소세치제를 사용하는 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05). 4. 아동과 치위생과 학생들의 세치제 짜는 방법에 따라 차이가 있는지 조사한 결과 콩알크기(pea-size)로 짰을 때는 두 집단 간의 차이가 없었으나(p>0.05), 소량의 세치제를 묻히는(smear)방법으로 짰을 때는 치위생과 학생들이 더 적은양의 불소세치제를 사용하는 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05) 5. 두부가 작은 칫솔을 사용하면 불소세치제 사용량을 감소시킬 수 있으며, 콩알크기(pea-size)로 짜는 방법과 소량의 세치제를 묻히는(smear) 방법은 불소세치제 사용량의 감소로 부주의한 불소 섭취를 최소화할 수 있어 어린이에게 추천할 수 있다.

진해지역 초등학교 교사의 교육경력에 따른 불소이용법의 효과 및 지식도 조사연구 (A study on a way to use fluorine and the recognition level by the education career periods of elementary school teachers in Jinhae region)

  • Objectives : To investigate the knowledge and recognition level of fluorine by teaching career among class teachers, who are primarily responsible for oral health education, despite lack of expertise in oral health, by playing a model role for students through continuous contacts with them, and provide basic elementary data about accurate knowledge and how to correctly use fluorine remarkably effective in preventing dental caries. Methods : A self-administered survey was conducted with 539 teachers at 21 elementary schools in Jinhae City from September 1 to October 15, 2010, drawing the following conclusions. Results : 1. As for the channel for acquiring knowledge of oral health, the highest frequency was found in health programs for respondents with less than 9 years of career, in dental clinics for those with 20 to 29 years of career, and in PR booklets for those with 10 to 19 years and 30 years and longer of career. 2. Use of fluorine-containing toothpaste and fluorine spread is very effective and effective in preventing dental caries got 64.9%, 72.2%, 72.3%, 77.7% and 54.0%, 63.1%, 62.2%, 69.7%, respectively, among elementary school teachers with less than 9 years, 10 to 19 years, 20 to 29 years, and 30 years and longer of career. 3. Intake of fluoride and toothbrushing with fluoric solution is very effective and effective in preventing dental caries got 33.3%, 40.1%, 39.5%, 55.3% and 50.0%, 54.9%, 48.8%, 69.7%, respectively, among elementary school teachers with less than 9 years, 10 to 19 years, 20 to 29 years, and 30 years and longer of career. 4. Use of fluoric tablets is very effective and effective in preventing dental caries got 32.9%, 36.0%, 36.1%, 47.3%, respectively, among elementary school teachers with less than 9 years, 10 to 19 years, 20 to 29 years, and 30 years and longer of career. 5. Most of the elementary school teachers knew the fact that fluorine increases dental resistance to cavity and prevents bacterial growth but gave incorrect responses to properties of becoming basic nutrients or inducing recalcification. Conclusions : Various types of application of fluorine during the elementary-level childhood experiencing the most frequent dental caries will be very useful in improving oral health in the future. It is necessary to enable class teachers to get correct recognition of fluorine through supplementary and job training based on technical knowledge and various educational materials so that they, who are directly responsible for health management through continuous contacts with students, can understand how to correctly use fluorine and get accurate knowledge.

유치원 아동 어머니의 행위에 따른 자녀의 구강건강관리실태 조사연구 (A study on the actual conditions of the oral health of the infants in kindergarten according to mothers' care)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data required for the development of dental hygiene project for babies by investigating the relationship between mothers' dental hygiene activities and their socio-economic characteristics and the dental hygiene activities of babies. The survey was carried out with questionnaire to 306 babies of ages from 4 to 7 years and their mothers, from January 5 to January 25, 2007, in 4 kindergartens in Masan, Korea. The collected data was processed with SPSS v.12.0 for frequency analysis and ${\chi}^2$-test per item, to obtain following conclusions. 1. The frequency of toothbrushing of children is two times, accounted for 52.3%, they brush the teeth by them, and accounted for 52.3%, Fluorine toothpaste 68.3%. 2. The frequency of meal of children is 3 times, accounted for 93.5%, they ingestcariogenic snack 1 time, accounted for 45.4%, and they ingest protective and detergent snackfrom dental caries 2 times, accounted for accounted for 45.1%. 3. The shorter the period of mothers' duration of visit to dentists, the more experiences of fluorine coating and help from parent in toothbrushing had the children (pE.01, pE.05). 4. Children of housewife mothers received help from parent in toothbrushing and take teeth care and clean snack more than those of working mothers (pE.05, pE.01). 5. The children of working mothers had fluorine coating more than those of housewife mothers (pE.05). The fluorine coating, toothbrusing, protection and eating green food of babies show significant differences according to the frequency of mothers' visit to dentists and occupation.

초등학교 1학년 학동들의 구강보건지도활동 지침기준을 위한 조사연구 (Study on the Activity of Oral Health Instruction of First Grade in an Elementary School)

  • This research reached conclusions to prepare indications for activity of Oral health Instruction of the first grade in an elementary school by several items of Oral examination and investigation. 1. The frequency of brushing their teeth of the children that were examined was generally two times a day(64.42%) : it showed that it was the highest after breakfast (30.08%), and hardly any brushed their teeth after lunch(6.36%). 2. Most of the toothbrushes used were for children(97.46%), and the proper time to change their toothbrushes was less than two months(65.25%), but 31.37% of them used their toothbrushes for more than three mouths. 3. They usually used toothpaste. Those using toothpaste were 64.41%. By the way, for adults was the percentage 31.36%, and for those including fluorine it was 74.58%. 4. They mainly ate cookies, beverages, (coke, cider, etc.), fruit, bread, milk and so on for their dessert. 5. Most students had dental plaque (95.76%) : 14.4% of then had calculus and 23.73% had gingivitis. 6. The results of disclosing showed that twelve anterior teeth were colored. The Mandible was comparatively more severe than the Maxillary in the colored -degree. the low -right - laterial incisor was the most severe and the right central incisor was the most severe of the Maxillary. 7. The pressure of tooth - brushing showed that half of the students brushed their teeth severely. The width of the brushing movemtnts was more than 8mm for 51.70%, 5-8mm for 33.05% and less than 5mm for 15.25% Therefore 66.5% of them were shown to move their brushes insufficiently or oppositely. 8. When they brushed, the children who opened their mouth while brushing were more than those who kept their mouth closed.

치아 과민증에 Hydroxyapatite와 Tricalcium phosphate을 함유한 치약의 치료효과 (Therapeutic Effect of Toothpaste Containing Hydroxyapatite and Tribasic Calcium Phosphate on Dentinal Hypersensitivity)

  • 치아과민증은 치아의 병적인 증세는 아니지만 치아뿌리가 잇몸밖으로 노출되어 외부의 자극에 대한 민감한 반응으로 환자가 통증을 느끼는 것을 말한다. 칫솔질이나 잇몸질환 등의 다양한 원인이 있으며 치료를 위해서는 자극을 줄여 주는 방법으로 치아과민치료활성이 있는 물질을 이용하거나 레진으로 들어난 치주를 도포하는 방법이 있다. 본 연구에서 수산화인회석과 인산삼칼슘을 혼합하여 만든 치약과 시중에 판매하고 있는 불소함유치약을 4주간 사용하면서 치주과민성 치료효과를 비교 조사하였다. 첨가한 수산화인회석과 인산삼칼슘의 순도는 XRD분석결과 99% 이상으로 나타났으며, 제조한 치약(Hap-TCP)에는 각각 10%와 19%(W/W) 되게 첨가하였다. 치아과민성 치료효과를 VRS값으로 조사한 결과 사용직후에는 대조군과 차이가 없었으나, 1주후에는 대조군에 비해 8% 통증감소효과가 나타났고, 2주와 4주 후에는 각각 30%와 60%정도 통증감소효과가 나타났다. 그리고 냉자극에 대한 지각과민증을 VAS값으로 조사한 결과도 초기에는 차이가 없었으나, 1주, 2주, 4주 후에 측정한 결과 기간에 따라 유의적으로 감소하였다. 4주후에는 VAS값이 3배이상 차이를 보였다. 이 결과는 현미경관찰에서도 확인이 되어진 것과 같이 수산화인회석이 확장된 상아세관들을 메우고, 구강내의 칼슘, 인 등 이온평형을 인산삼칼슘이 조절하여 메워진 상아세관을 안정적으로 자리를 잡도록 도와주는 재석회화현상으로 치아과민증상을 완화하는 것으로 확인되었다.

청소년의 음주·흡연에 따른 구강지식평가 및 구강보건교육의 필요성에 관한 연구 (Study of necessity of teenagers' drinking, mouth knowledge estimation by smoking and dental health education)

  • This study is to enforce to ready basic data of effective dental education program and no smoking and no drinking program for high school students who do smoking and drinking, executed investigation by own recording way using smoking and questionnaire consisted of actual conditions and caries prevention awareness and dental health knowledge degree of drinking to some man high school. Analyzes result that total 487 people respond in SPSS WIN 13.0 programs and got following sequence. Result of this study is as following. 1. Mans high school students had more students who do not than a drinking student and main current received most soju. Third-year student appeared by thing which receive a lot of soju than 1 or 2 class student but different other difference was not seen by class. 2. Mans high school students had more students who do not than a smoking student and a student who smoke more than 3 years was the most. I can know was old since third-year student smokes than 1 or 2 class student. 3. It was not difference that keep in mind by drinking, smoking availability although there were many students who recognize that all of the on-time dental medical examination, sugar intake limitation, fluorine inclusion toothpaste, teeth fluorine application are seldom effective on caries prevention. 4. Recognized that right brushing is effective relatively on caries prevention. I was shown difference that recognized that righter brushing is effective on bad tooth courtesy call than a student who a student who do not smoke does, and keeps in mind according to smoking availability ($x^2$=6.78, p<0.05). 5. I knew best about question of 'A caries may not treat if is painless' among that question ask knowledge for a caries, and appeared by thing which do not know best about question of 'Know that method that supply fluorine in water'. 6. A student who do not drink general dental know-how for a caries was high knowledge degree for a caries than a drunk student but it was no difference that keep in mind by drinking availability. Also, a student who do not smoke by smoking availability was high knowledge degree for a caries than a done student but difference that keep in mind statistically was not seen. 7. It was no difference that keep in mind by drinking availability, but a student who do not smoke by smoking availability was high relation knowledge degree with food and a caries than a smoked student, and I was shown difference that keep in mind according to smoking availability(t=-2.03, p<0.05). 8. Awareness and synthetic estimation degree of knowledge degree a student who do not smoke than a smoked student mouth knowledge degree high, and I was shown difference that keep in mind according to smoking availability(t=-2.03, p<0.05). When see as result such as singularity, family, school, all social institutions may have to help by national business coming and try so that can become national business based on special know-how for development of effective and epoch-making education program as quickly as possible.

Q-Scan을 이용한 학령전기 아동의 구강보건교육 효과 (Effect of Oral Health Education with Q-Scan in Preschool Children)

  • 본 연구는 유치원에 다니는 아동 총 59명을 대상으로 Q-scan을 이용한 구강보건효과를 평가하고자 하였다. 유아용 면접설문지와 Quigley & Hein index를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 아동의 치면세균막지수는 Q-scan을 이용한 중재군에서 12% 더 유의하게 감소한 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 구강보건지식은 두 집단 모두 불소에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며(p<0.05), 대조군에서는 치아에 나쁜 음식에 대한 정답률도 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05). 구강보건태도에서 중재군은 모든 변수에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며(p<0.05), 대조군에서는 정기 구강검진, 칫솔질 횟수에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<0.05). 구강보건행동에서 중재군은 칫솔 잡는 법에서는 정답률이 증가하고, 알맞은 치약 짜기에서는 정답률이 감소하는 유의한 결과가 나타났으며(p<0.05), 대조군은 모든 변수에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 종합해 보면 Q-scan은 구강보건교육 시 아동들의 동기 부여를 위한 적절한 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.
