토크 하중의 변동이 회전원판의 안정성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Torque Fluctuation on the Stability of a Rotating Disk)

  • This study investigates the whirling stability of a rotating shaft-disk system under parametric excitation using periodically varying torque. The equations of motion were derived using a lumped-mass model, and the Floquet method was employed to find the effects of torque fluctuation, internal and external damping, and rotational speed on whirling stability. Results indicated that the effect of torque fluctuation was considerable on the instability around resonance, but minimal on supercritical instability. Stability diagrams were sensitive to the parametric excitation frequency; critical torque decreased upon increasing excitation frequency, with faster response convergence or divergence. In addition, internal and external damping had a considerable effect on unstable regions, and reduced the effects of the parametric excitation frequency on critical torque and speed. Results obtained from the Floquet approach were in good agreement with those obtained by numerical integration, except for some cases with Floquet multipliers very close to unity.

  • The handicap for investigating the aero-optical effect focuses on the accurate prediction on the index refraction fluctuation or density fluctuation. In recent years, with the development of CFD techniques and optical experimental techniques, the comprehension have developed on the aero-optical transmitting effect in many kinds of complex flow. This study mainly introduces the optical aberration in compressible mixing layer. And then the debates about the mechanism of aero-optical effects and assessment of image blur also present.

$Ca^{2+}$이 정자 첨체반응의 생리적 활성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of $Ca^{2+}$ on Phvsiological Activites of the Acrosome Reaction on Spermatozoa)

  • It has been known that spermatozoa should obtain their fertilizing ability through capacitation and acrosome reaction, and that in these processes of fertilization, Ca2+ platys an important role for their conjugation. Therefore the present study has been designed in order to clarify the effect of fluctuation of the media Ca2+ level and the intracellular concentration of the spermatozoa on the acrosomes. During the incubation of spermatozoa, a considerable fluctuation in the media Ca2+ level has been observed after the BSA administration and the media concentration of Ca2+. It is deduced that these fluctuation rates may have an effect on the acrosome reaction. The fluctuation of K+ flux has been observed in accordance with the incubation period over time, and it's concentration seems to be closely related with the acrosomal reaction. The respiratory exchange rate (RERI of the spermatozoa is kept more regular in the BSA and Cacl2 administration groups than the non-administration group. Based on the experimental findings, it is possible to deduce a hypothesis from these findings that physiological activities of the acrosome reaction are not functionally related to the media Ca2+ level and the intracellular influx of Ca2+ concentration, although Ca2+ platys an important role as a stimulating factor in the acrosome reaction.

  • Optical emission spectroscopy is used to identify chemical species and monitor the changes of process results during the plasma process. However, plasma process monitoring or fault detection by using emission signal variation monitoring is vulnerable to background signal fluctuations. IR heaters are used in semiconductor manufacturing chambers where high temperature uniformity and fast response are required. During the process, the IR lamp output fluctuates to maintain a stable process temperature. This IR signal fluctuation reacts as a background signal fluctuation to the spectrometer. In this research, we evaluate the effect of infrared background signal fluctuation on plasma process monitoring and improve the plasma process monitoring accuracy by using simple infrared background signal subtraction method. The effect of infrared background signal fluctuation on plasma process monitoring was evaluated on $SiO_2$ PECVD process. Comparing the $SiO_2$ film thickness and the measured emission line intensity from the by-product molecules, the effect of infrared background signal on plasma process monitoring and the necessity of background signal subtraction method were confirmed.

복사/난류간 상호작용이 고려된 화염의 온도 및 농도분포의 SRS 역계산 (SRS Inversion of Flame Temperature/concentration Profile with Radiation/Turbulence Interaction)

  • The SRS method is applied to a turbulent flame with radiation/turbulence interaction to invert the temperature and concentration profile. The flame is conditioned as optically thin per each fluctuation length and the flame spectral intensity is measured for inversion. From inversion result, we find that SRS can successfully invert the coupled temperature/concentration fluctuation amplitudes. For two cases of experiments, inverted values are within approximately 1% over the full range of fluctuation amplitude. However, SRS cannot find the detailed local fluctuation parameters such as pattern and phase, etc. as far as they do not affect the resulting radiation intensity. Important available parameters are the mean temperature and the temperature fluctuation amplitude. The radiation/turbulence interaction effect is verified to play an important role in the radiation.

Point Particle Approximation for Single and Two Species Diffusion-Influenced Reactions

  • The fluctuations in concentrations of reactants dominate the long-time dynamics of the single (A + A ${\rightarrow}$ 0) and two species (A + B ${\rightarrow}$ 0) diffusion-influenced annihilation reactions. Although hierarchical Smoluchowski approaches can provide a systematic and flexible framework to deal with the fluctuation effects, their results are too complicated to be analytically solved. For the efficient numerical calculation of the complicated fluctuation effect terms, we show that the presented point particle approximation is not only practical but also quite accurate for most conditions in diffusion-influenced reaction systems.

  • 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 대표적 수입 곡물인 콩의 주요 교역국들의 생산, 소비, 무역 및 재고 동향과 각국의 생산변동에 따른 조정유형 분석을 수행한 후, 이를 바탕으로 각국의 국제시장 전이효과를 계측하였다. 분석결과 최근 콩의 국제시장 전이효과가 주요 생산국인 브라질, 파라과이, 캐나다 등을 중심으로 증대되고 있으며, 대부분의 국가가 재고보다는 소비와 무역을 통해 생산변동을 조절하고 있는 것으로 나타나 국제 콩시장의 불안정성 증가가 예상된다. 따라서 대규모 콩 수입국인 우리나라는 일정량의 국내생산기반 유지, 적절한 재고정책의 활용, 선물시장의 활용, 수입선 다변화 등과 같은 해외조달능력의 향상을 통한 안정적인 국내 콩 수급 방안 마련이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.

  • High frequency system has been used for the purpose of skin care and obesity treatment, by high-frequency energy is applied to the human body generates deep heat. Conventional high frequency system could not selection control by depending on the body load fluctuations. Such as burns and side effects have been reported by system instability and then therapeutic effect is insufficient. During treatment, objective information about the status of the patient was no. Because of treatment methods are subjective, and so tailored treatments were impossible. In this paper, high frequency medical system with sinusoidal frequency characteristics without distortion of the Push pull switching scheme for pain relief therapy was designed. And control circuit that was designed by feedback using the output changes according to the body-load fluctuation. Last, power circuit for efficient control the heat generated from the hardware was proposed.

빛의 세기 및 위상 요동에 나타나는 진공 효과 (Effect of vacuum on amplitude and phase fluctuation)

  • 빛의 입자 파동 이중성을 수용하는 양자 광학은 때때로 파동성에만 바탕을 둔 고전 광학과 상이한 결과를 보여준다. 본 논문에서는 빛이 빛살 가르개를 통과하면서 그 세기와 위상에 대한 요동이 어떻게 변화하는가를 고찰하고 고전 이론과 양자 이론이 보이는 차이점을 기술하였다. 측정 가능량을 나타내는 세가지 연산자를 통하여 고전 이론과는 달리 양자 이론에서는 빛살 가르개를 통과한 후 빛의 세기와 위상에 대한 불확실도가 증가함을 보이고 이를 진공 요동에 의한 효과로 정량적으로 분석하였다. 한편 진공효과를 배제하는 과정으로서 정규 차례를 따르는 연산자에 대한 기대치는 고전적 파동 이론의 결과와 일치함을 보임으로써 고전적 파동 이론과의 대응성을 추구하였다. 또한 이러한 결과로부터 진공 효과를 포함하는 실제의 측정 위상과 고전 이론에 대응하는 추측 위상의 구분 및 그 관계를 보였다.

수중 다중경로 채널에서 수면변동에 의한 지연확산이 텍스트 전송성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Text Transmission Performance on Delay Spread by Water Surface Fluctuation in Underwater Multipath Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 수조 실험을 통해 수중 다중경로 채널의 수면변동과 지연확산이 텍스트 전송성능에 미치는 영향 확인하였다. 수면변동과 지연확산은 채널의 코히어런스 대역폭을 제한하는 요인으로 수중음향 통신의 전송성능을 제한한다. 잔잔한 수면과 교란하는 수면에 따른 응답특성 실험결과에서 수면 반사파의 진폭변동과 지연확산 특성을 확인하였다. 각각의 지연확산 유효치는 각각 5ms, 4ms로 그에 대응하는 코히어런스 대역폭은 200Hz, 250Hz였다. BFSK (Binary Frequency Shift Keying) 방식을 이용한 수중 텍스트 전송성능에서 지연확산에 따른 채널의 코히어런스 대역폭 제한으로 인해 잔잔한 수면인 경우 200bps이하에서 $10^{-4}$, 교란하는 수면인 경우 250bps 이하에서 $10^{-4}$으로 오류율이 나타났다. 따라서 본 실험을 통해 수중 다중경로 채널에서 수면변동에 의한 코히어런스 대역폭 제한용 수중음향 통신의 전송성능을 결정하는 중요한 요인임을 확인하였다.
