텔레비전 드라마에 나타난 주택실내디자인의 계층별 특성 (An Analysis on the Characteristics of Residential Interior Design according to Social Classes as shown in korean Television Dramas)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of residential interior design according to social classes in Korean television dramas. To achieve the study purpose content analysis through slides and video tapes was used. Eighty three houses out of twenty eight dramas from 1990 to 1996 were classified into three classes ; upper class middle-upper class middle-lower class. Those houses were analyzed based one the five review points : total interior images finishing materials window treatments furniture and accessories. The results of the study were as follows ; (1) In the general characteristics of the house in Korean television dramas there were distinct differences in age job of householders and house types by classes. (2) In the characteristics of living-room interior design in the television dramas there were distinct differences according to social classes in interior images floor coverings furniture styles and accessories. (3) In the characteristics of master bedroom in the television dramas there were a little differences according to classes. (4) In the characteristics of kitchen and dining room in the television dramas there were differences according to classes

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp actual condition of remodeling elements by specialists' in-depth interviews. The interview has been conducted to interior designer who have a wide experience of apartment remodeling. In-depth interview is a kind of qualitative method in which attention to reply of responses with open-access between interviewer and respondents. According to the results, remodeling elements were generally the renovation of balcony into the livingroom or children room, removal a doorsill, installation of storage furniture, change of lighting fixtures in the all rooms and change equipments of bathroom. Finishing materials were usual used normal wallpaper and normal or low emitting adhesive on ceiling and wall, tempered-flooring on floor, and ceramic tiles on bottom and wall of bath and entrance.

Characteristics of Volatile Organic Compounds Emitted in Building Materials and Their Predictions of Time-dependent Variation

  • Unlike other countries, Korea uses various kinds of wall-paper as finishing material. Conventional wall-paper consists of paper and vinyl, and petrochemical ink is used for the decoration of the surface. Adhesive is used to paste the wall with the wall-paper, which emit substantial amounts of VOCs and formaldehyde. In this study, VOCs characteristics emitted from specimens made of concrete, mortar, gypsum board and wall-paper were investigated using small chamber method. Moreover, concentration and emission factor of BTEX(Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, m,p,o-Xylene) and TVOC were investigated, and concentration and emission factor decay were estimated. As a result of the prediction, both time-dependent concentration decay and cumulative concentration can be converted into the logarithmic scale. Furthermore, prediction equations were developed from the experimental results under accurately controlled experimental conditions. Therefore, there may be difference if the estimated equations are directly applied to real buildings. Further research should be done on the generalization of the developed prediction equations.

병원의 실내환경 특성에 관한 연구 - 부산지역 내과병원을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Interior Characteristics of Healthcare Environment - Focused on the Internal Medicine in Busan -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the current interior conditions of internal medicines and the patients'responses to them. Data were collected through questionnaire survey including observations and interviews. The sample consisted of 43 internal medicines in Busan. The data were analyzed by using SPSS-PC. The major findings were as follows: (1) Most of the medicines had a size of 20-50 pyung(66-165$m^2$). The preferred size of internal medicine was 30-70 Pyung. (2) The typical layout of reception room, doctor's room, and injection room was L shape. (3) The most preferred room was waiting room and the worst one was injection room. (4) Painting and tile were mostly used as interior finishing materials. The patients preferred wall papers as wall and ceiling material, and marbles as floor material. Also, the most preferred interior images were modern, western, urban, open, simple, warm and popular images.

성격유형에 따른 주거공간 색채선호에 관한 연구 - 거주자 특성을 고려한 주거공간 색채계획에 관한 연구 II - (A Study on Preference Colors considering Personality Types in Housing Space - A Study on Color Plan considering Characteristic of Residents -)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine color preferences in housing spaces according to different types of personalities and color preference according to classifying dwellers various characteristics by MBTI to obtain basic information for the color plan that satisfies their desires. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, in terms of the color distribution of living spaces, for the ceiling and general walls, results showed that N (white) systems and YR of bright tones were mostly distributed. For the color of the floor, results showed that the calm tone of YR was mostly distributed. Secondly, for the favored colors of finishing materials in each space, the greatest distribution of preference color was found to be the N (white) group (series) in the case of ceilings, For general walls, the bright tone of the N (white) group was the most common in living rooms, and the bright tone of RP was used mostly in couples' rooms and girls' rooms. The bright tone of B and PB were found mostly in boys' bedrooms. In the case of the floor color, results showed the largest distribution was the calm tone of YR. For point walls, the preference was for various kinds of bright and brilliant colors. Thirdly, we could determine that extroverts (E) strongly disliked black and grey, while introverts (I) strongly disliked red as well as black and grey. Those who favored colors of closing materials were the sensible types (S) where colors were concentrated in common color groups. On the other hand, intuition types (N) preferred color groups of various kinds, not only the typically preferred colors.

  • 오늘날 지구온난화는 전 세계적으로 가장 주요한 문제 중 하나로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 지구온난화는 급속한 에너지 사용량의 증가에 의한 이산화탄소 발생의 증가가 가장 큰 원인이 된다. 그러므로 이에 대비하기 위해서 는 모든 영역에서 에너지 절약에 대한 노력이 필요하다. 세계의 총에너지 사용량 중 건설 활동과 건물운영에서 사용되는 에너지량이 차지하는 비율이 절반이 넘는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 건물에너지 발생량을 줄이는 것은 전체 에너지량을 절감시키는 중요한 역할을 한다. 이에 건물에너지 소비에 대한 관심의 증대와 함께 건물의 에너지 소비와 $CO_2$ 발생량을 줄이기 위해 친환경 건축물 등급 및 인증이 요구되고 있다. 건물에너지를 줄일 수 있는 여러 가지 요인 중에서 재료의 열전도율은 패시브적인 방법으로 건물에너지를 직접적으로 줄일 수 있는 가장 기본적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 특히 전통적으로 바닥 복사난방시스템을 사용하는 우리나라의 주거건물에서 바닥마감재의 열전도율은 난방에너지 효율을 결정하는 중요한 요인이다. 본 논문에서는 주거건물의 난방에너지 절감을 위해 건축 재료의 열전도율 측정방법을 조사하고 난방 효율 평가를 위한 축소모형을 제안하였다.

  • Qualitative enhancement of dwelling life has changing the recognition for the environment friendly wood which is being highlighted for its usage as an interior materials. This trend may prove the excellent performance of wood whose inherent characteristics has its comfortable, mild feeling of material, sound resistance and stabilities and the market of interior woods including floor, moulding and wooden panel as finishing interior materials is growing sustainably. However, since this materials is vulnerable to humidity and flame, waterproofing and flame retarding stability, an essential condition for interior materials, together with maintenance, are the main topics to be resolved. From the above-mentioned results, as a result of waterdrop contact angle, wood absorption volume and water content percentage test and the performance test of the processed materials after flame retardant, though there was some submerging time changes among types of woods for ensuring waterproofing performance improvement but as time passes, similar tendency was noticed to be formulated. As the submerging time is increased, so does the absorption volume and accordingly optimal level of range is judged to be drawn in order to ensure excellent performance, taking optimal economy into consideration. Therefore, it is considered that above-mentioned woods could be utilized for waterproof and flame retardant processed interior materials using uniform microwave and in order to put this technology into practical application, a research by way of diversified performance proving is required to be carried out.

고강도 Self-Leveling재의 최적 결합재비 (The Optimum Binder Ratio for High-Strength Self-Leveling Material)

  • Self-leveling material(SLM) is one of the floor finishing materials which make flat surface like as water level by itself in a short time. So it is possible to increase construction speed and enhance economical efficiency In this study, author intended to develop SLM for the industrial warehouse and factory loading heavy weight machinery and vehicles. The demanded properties for this type of SLM are above 200mm of flow value and above 300kgf/$cm^2$ of 28-days compressive strength. To possess demended strength and fluidity, SLM have to be composed of many types of binders and chemical additives. So it is difficult to decide suitable mixing proportion of composition materials. In this study, author investigated the weight percentage effect of main composition materials for high-strength self-leveling material, by experimental design such as tables of orthogonal arrays and simplex design, and by statistical analysis such as analysis of variance and analysis of response surface. Variables of experiments were ordinary Portland cement(OPC), alumina cement(AC), anhydrous gypsum(AG), lime stone(LS) and sand, and properties of tests were fluidity of fresh state and strength of hardened state. Results of this study are showed that suitable mix proportions of binders for the high strength self-leveling materials are two groups. One is 78~85.5% OPC, 7.5~9.5% AC, 9~12.5% AG and the other is 72.5~78% OPC, 9~12.5% AC, 13~15% AG.

Ca(OH)2와 전구체의 화학 조성이 고속경화 지오폴리머의 물성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Chemical Composition of Ca(OH)2 and Precursors on the Properties of Fast-Curing Geopolymers)

  • Geopolymer is an alumina silicate-based ceramic material that has good heat-resistance and fire-resistance; it can be cured at room temperature, and thus its manufacturing process is simple. Geopolymer can be used as a reinforcement or floor finish for high-speed curing applications. In this manuscript, we investigate a high-speed curing geopolymer achieved by adding calcium to augment the curing rate. Metakaolin is used as the main raw material, and aqueous solutions of KOH and $K_2SiO_3$ are used as the activators. As a result of optimizing the high bending strength as a target factor for geopolymers with $SiO_2/Al_2O_3$ ratio of 4.1 ~ 4.8, the optimum ranges of the active agent are found to be $0.1{\leq}K_2O/SiO_2{\leq}0.4$ and $10{\leq}H_2O/K_2O{\leq}32.5$, and the optimum range of the curing accelerator is found to be $$0.82{\leq_-}Ca(OH)_2/Al_2O_3{\leq_-}2.87$$. The maximum flexural strength is found to be 1.35 MPa at $Ca(OH)_2/Al_2O_3=2.82$, $K_2O/SiO_2=0.3$, and $H_2O/K_2O=11.3$. The physical and thermal properties are analyzed to validate the applicability of these materials as industrial insulating parts or repairing finishing materials in construction.

친환경.고유동 세라믹 수지 모르타르를 이용한 주차장 바닥용 표면 마감의 재료적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Material Property of Parking Zone Flooring Occupancy Surface Finishing Used to Environment-friendly.High-liquidity Ceramic Resin Mortar)

  • 1980년대 초반부터 대량 주택 공급과 고층 건축물의 급증으로 주차공간 부족현상이 사회적 문제점으로 지적되어져 왔다. 단적인 예로 서울시의 년간 주차장 개소 통계 연보를 살펴보면 2003년에 206,281 개소인 것이 2006년 237,770 개소로 약 15%의 증가율이 나타났다. 이와같이 매년 많은 주차시설이 확충되고 있는 것에 반하여 주차장 바닥에 사용되어지는 마감 재료의 대부분이 유기계 재료가 시공되어 지고 있다. 그러나 최근 "웰빙적 문화현상"에 따라 유기계 재료의 문제점(환경호르몬 배출, 휘발성유기화합물의 화재 위험 등)이 부각되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 작업자 뿐만아니라 사용자의 안전을 고려하여 인체 무해한 친환경 고유동 세라믹 수지 모르타르를 이용한 주차장 바닥 표면 마감재의 재료적 특성 분석 및 물성평가를 통하여 기존 유기계 바닥재의 문제점을 보완하고 새로운 개념의 주차장 바닥 마감재에 대한 현장 적용성을 확인하였다.
