항공교통업무의 효과성을 위한 업무 파트너간 관계에 관한 연구 (A study on partner's Relationships for Air Traffic Management Effectiveness)

  • 항공기 운항의 주요한 두 주체는 조종사와 관제사이다. 항공기는 모든 정보를 통합하고 총괄하는 조종사의 판단에 의해서 운항되며, 관제사는 효율적이고 원활한 항공교통이 유지되도록 조종사에게 운항에 관련된 정보제공 및 조언을 함으로써 항공교통을 조정·통제를 하는 역할을 수행한다. 때문에 항공 운항의 대부분은 이들 두 집단 간의 역할에 의해서 특성 지어진다고 할 수 있으며, 이들 간에 존재하는 관계(relationship)가 운항업무의 성과를 결정짓는 주요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 지금가지의 항공기 운항과 관련된 연구는 조종사와 관제사의 개별적인 업무영역에 관련된 분야가 대부분이었고, 항공기 운항업무의 두 주체인 조종사와 관제사간의 커뮤니케이션이나 관계(relationship)에 관한 연구는 거의 드물다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 항공운항 업무의 주요한 주체인 조종사와 관제사의 관계를 고찰함으로써 운항업무의 효과를 높이기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 신뢰와 협력, 상호의존성, 업무관계의 효과성이 라는 변수를 이용하여 각 변수간의 인과관계를 살펴보았다. 연구결과 조종사와 관제사의 상호의존 정도에 따라 신뢰의 정도가 달라지며, 양자간의 협력은 상호간의 신뢰의 정도에 따라 영향을 받고 있었다. 또한 조종사와 관제 사간의 신뢰와 협력의 정도가 효과적인 운항업무에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Patterned Surfaces in Self-Organized Block Copolymer Films with Hexagonally Ordered Microporous Structures

  • A novel fabrication of the patterned surfaces in the polymer films was demonstrated by using the self-organizing character of the block copolymers of polystyrene-b-oligothiophenes and polystyrene-b-aromatic amide dendron. Hexagonally arranged open pores with a micrometer-size were spontaneously formed by casting the polymer solutions under a moist air flow. The amphiphilic character of the block copolymers played the crucial role as a surfactant to stabilize the inverse emulsion of water in the organic solvent, and subsequently the aggregated structure of the hydrophilic oligothiophene or aromatic amide dendron segments remained on the interiors of the micropores. The chemical composition on the top of the surface of the microporous films was characterized by energy-filtering transmission electron microscopy (EFTEM) or a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (ToF-SIMS). The characterizations clearly indicated that the patterned surfaces in the self-organized block copolymer films with the hexagonally ordered microporous structures were fabricated in a single step.

A Study of Software Hazard Analysis for Safety Critical Function in Military Aircraft

  • This paper is the Software Hazard Analysis (SWHA) which will study the managerial process and the technical methode and techniques inherent in the performance of software safety task within the Military Aircraft System Safety program. This SWHA identifies potential hazardous effects on the software intensive systems and provides a comprehensive and qualitative assessment of the software safety. The purpose of this paper is to identify safety critical functions of software in Military A/C. The identified software hazards associated with the design or function will be evaluated for risks and operational constraint to further improve the software design requirement, analysis and testing efforts for safety critical software. This common SWHA, the first time analysis in KOREA, was review all avionics OFP(Operational Flight Program), and focus only on software segments which are safety critical. This paper provides a important understanding between the customer and developer as to how the software safety for the Military A/C will be accomplished. It will also provide the current best solution which may as one consider the necessary step in establishing a credible and cost-effective software safety program.

화물운송주선업자의 항공사 선택행위 연구 (A study of Airline Choice Behavior of Air Freight Forwarders)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate freight forwarders' airline choice behaviors in the Korean air cargo transportation market. This study identifies the major factors affecting airline choice and their relative importance by analyzing the data gathered by the survey from freight forwarders in Seoul. The questionnaire of the survey is composed of two parts; the first part is to identify the significant variables of airline choice and the second part is to gather the data about airline choice using stated preference techniques. The relative importance of major variables considered in forwarders' airline choice is estimated by the logit models calibrated with stated preference data. To strength the reliability of the analysis, this study segments the market by three routes; Seoul-Los Angeles, Seoul-Amsterdam and Seoul-Hongkong. The five major variables that are considered seriously in airline choice are reliability, space availability, frequency, cost and flight schedule. The utility trade-offs between variables are estimated by the ratio analysis of coefficients of logit model of each route, and the results of ratio analysis is interpreted as reflecting the reality of market conditions.

Carbon-ion radiotherapy in osteosarcoma of the mandible: a case report

  • Carbon-ion radiotherapy (CIRT) is on the rise as a treatment choice for malignant tumor. Compared to conventional radiotherapy, particle beams have different physical and biological properties. Particle beam provides a low entry dose, deposits most of the energy at the endpoint of the flight path, and forms an asymptotic dose peak (the "Bragg peak"). Compared to protons, carbon with its larger mass decreases beam scattering, resulting in a sharper dose distribution border. We report a 50-year-old male who underwent CIRT without surgical resection on osteosarcoma of the mandible. After CIRT, the patient's pain was gone, and the malignant mass remained stable with accompanying necrosis. Nine months later, however, magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated progression of the left mandibular osteosarcoma with pulmonary metastases. After multidisciplinary discussion, concurrent chemoradiotherapy was conducted. While necrotic bone segments came out of the mandible during subsequent periodic outpatient visits, the tumor itself was stable. Thirty months after his first visit and diagnosis, the patient is waiting for chemotherapy. Although CIRT is superior in treating radioresistant hypoxic disease, CIRT is in its infancy, so care must be taken for its indications and complications.

드론기반 고속도로 교통조사분석 활용을 위한 기초연구 (Preliminary Study Related with Application of Transportation Survey and Analysis by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(Drone))

  • 그동안 교통관리에서 적용되던 드론 관련 연구는 도로나 차량을 검지하고 추적하는 연구가 대분이었다. 교통분야에서 영상이미지를 분석하는 목적은 기존 교통자료 수집체계(차량검지기, DSRC 등)의 한계를 극복하기 위함이다. 그런 의미에서 드론은 상당히 좋은 대안이나 최대 비행시간이 제한되어 있어 기존 수집체계를 대체하기 보다는 보완적 성격으로 활용되는 것이 타당하다. 따라서 교통조사분석을 위한 드론 활용방안에 대한 연구가 더 필요한 실정이다. 교통문제의 경우 특정 구간이나 지점에서 발생한 문제가 네트워크 전체로 확대되는 경우가 많아 드론을 이용하여 이러한 구간들에 대한 분석이 필요하다. 본 연구는 교통조사분석 활용을 위한 기초 연구로 드론으로 촬영된 고속도로 구간(800~1000m)을 단위 구간으로 분할하여 교통류 변수들을 추출하였다. 또한 영상기술의 발전으로 고고도에서 영상 촬영을 수행하였다.
