항공사 객실승무원의 정서노동이 업무태도에 미치는 영향 (Emotional Labor and Work Attitudes for the Flight Attendants)

  • In this study, the work attitude of flight attendants who were performing emotional labor, had been explored. The organizational support system had been analysed to test its effect as a moderator on increasing positive job attitudes. It was found emotional labor had influence on work attitude of flight attendants. Emotional labor consisted in this study deep acting and surface acting. First, deep acting found positively related with job satisfaction and organizational commitment, negatively related with intention to leave. Second, surface acting negatively related with job satisfaction and positively related with intention to leave. This study put organizational support systems as moderator. First, Training has moderating effect on the relationship between deep acting. Organizational support has moderating effect on the relationship between deep acting, intention to leave. Counselling has moderating effect on the relationship between deep acting, job satisfaction. Peer support has same effect on the relationship between deep acting and intention to leave.

대형항공사 국제선 객실 승무원의 수면의 질, 피로 및 직무스트레스간의 관계 (The relationship of quality of sleep, fatigue and job stress of airlines international flight attendants in full service carriers)

  • 본 연구는 대형항공사 국제선 객실승무원의 수면의 질, 피로 및 직무스트레스를 파악하고 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 조사연구이다. 연구결과 직무스트레스에 유의한 영향을 주는 인구학적 변수는 성별, 직급, 한 달 비행시간, 건강보조식품 복용유무, 수면유도제 복용유무였다. 직무스트레스와 수면의 질은 음의 관계(r=-.57, p<.001), 피로와는 양의 관계(r=.61, p<.001)로 나타났다. 회귀분석 결과 직무스트레스에 유의한 영향을 미친 변수는 피로, 수면유도제 복용유무, 성별, 수면의 질이었으며 55.7%의 설명력을 가졌다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 객실승무원의 직무스트레스에 수면의 질과 피로에 대한 중재가 중요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is propose an alternative for flight attendants to acquire equipment that could enhance the ability to adapt in flying conditions. Introducing and acquiring weapon system, such equipments should be deeply considered in multilateral aspects; reinforcements in the overall strategic status in the army, the ramifications that can contribute to military resources, and economic situations in the country. To do this, we first induced several criteria that can be used for evaluating alternatives. After that, we applied the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) approach to putting all factors into considerations in decision making for equipment acquirement. The results of this study are expected to have usefulness in formulating strategies and policies in selecting equipment acquisition alternatives for flight attendants.

A Study on the Effect of Nonverbal Communication of Airline's Flight Crew on Customer Attitudes

  • Purpose - This study focuses on the quality of nonverbal communication by the flight attendants at the airline, and the factors that contribute to improve customer behavior, thereby providing positive implications for corporate management. Research, design, data, and methodology - For the empirical analysis of this study, reliability analysis and frequency analysis were conducted. T-test and ANOVA analyses were performed. In addition, the effects of nonverbal communication have on customer behavior have regressed analysis. The collected data was empirical suing the SPSS Win 18.0. Results - Among the non-verbal communication qualities were found to significantly influence customer attitudes, and demographic differences in airline flight attendants were also shown to influence their perceptions. Empirical analysis revealed significant differences in demographic characteristics between gender, age and airlines used. Conclusions - All of the non-verbal communication's attributes were found to significantly impact customer attitude. It is used to train the importance of nonverbal communication quality for the role of cabin crew members and to enhance the loyalty of the customers to Airline. This study identifies the relationship between the impact of non-verbal communication quality on customer attitudes and implies the importance of non-verbal communication quality for airline flight attendants. Also, this study suggests that there is a close mechanism between the nonverbal communication and the customer attitudes to airlines.

항공승무원의 우주방사선 피폭 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of Cosmic Radiation Exposure by Flight Crew)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the radiation dose data of the space crew of the flight crew and to present a plan for the health management of the flight crew on the basis of the analysis. The analysis show that the average exposure dose of the flight attendants continued to rise, and the exposure dose of the flight attendants was five(5) times higher than that of the radiation workers. As a way to reduce the effects of cosmic radiation, this paper suggests appropriate personnel allocation by model, balanced allocation of high and low latitude routes by crew according to the aircraft type, and a low altitude flight plan for high latitude flight. This study will help aviation crew members understand cosmic radiation and trust in the company's policies. In the future, it will be necessary to enhance the flight safety of the crew by deriving meaningful results by analyzing data related to cosmic radiation of various routes.

Aesthetic Characteristics of Glocalism in Flight Attendants' Uniform Design

  • This study considers the expressive types of 'Glocalism' trends and its inherent aesthetic characteristics through the analysis of flight attendants' uniform design. The following is the conclusions regarding the glocalism trend according to the analysis of airline uniform design that reflect it. First, the design approach was developed appropriating the whole or parts of traditional attire and applying decorative items in terms of a formal aspect. Secondly, the colors of the airline's homeland symbols or natural environment were used while, thirdly, the fabrics represent glocalism by employing folk elements of the region and patterns of nature for a uniform design. Induced from these design analyses, the aesthetic characteristics of airline uniforms reflecting glocalism are traditionality, naturality, and compromisability. To begin with, traditionality is what is realized in interpreting the historical aesthetics in a contemporary perspective, contributing in inspiring the historical value of the homeland and contributing to the establishment of identity by applying forms and colors of traditional garments with folk patterns on a uniform design. In addition, naturality means the reorganization of unprocessed pure nature, expressing the image of nature through colors taken from the natural environment or motifs of the regional plants. Finally, combining general sensibilities with diverse cultural features, compromisability is realized as a modern design which combines a standardized uniform with the aesthetic components of the local environment and traditional garments.

항공사 객실승무원의 개인적 감성능력과 상회적 감성능력이 팀웍역량에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Effects of the Self-Emotional Ability and Social-Emotional Ability on the Teamwork Capability of the Airline Flight Attendants)

  • 항공서비스에 있어서 인적서비스 품질은 고객만족과 고객인지가치에 매우 큰 영향을 미친다. 최근, 서비스 직원의 서비스 역량 가운데 하나로 감성을 이해하고 관리하는 능력이 중요하게 다뤄지고 있다. 또한 서비스 기업에서 팀 중심의 업무 수행이 증가되고 개인의 팀웍역량이 서비스 품질에 중대한 영향을 미침으로서 서비스 직원을 채용하고 관리하는데 있어 팀웍역량 또한 중요한 자질로 평가되고 있다. 본 논문은 항공사 승무원이 자신의 감성을 인식하고 조절하는 개인적 감성능력과 타인의 감성을 이해하고 관계를 맺는 사회적 감성능력이 객실서비스를 수행하기 위한 팀웍역량에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였으며 연구 결과, 감성능력이 높을수록 팀웍역량 또한 높게 나타나는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이를 통해 서비스 직원의 감성능력을 개발하고 강화함으로서 고객과의 상호 작용품질 및 팀 성과를 향상시키는데 그 목적이 있다.

진정성리더십이 심리적 웰빙과 직무성과에 미치는 영향 - 항공사 승무원을 중심으로 (The Effects of Authentic Leadership on Psychological Well-being and Job Performance - Focused on Airline Flight Attendants)

  • 본 연구에서는 객실승무원이 지각하는 진정성리더십이 부하의 심리적 웰빙과 직무성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 논의하고자 한다. 가설을 검증하기 위하여 국내에 운항중인 대형항공사 객실승무원을 대상으로 2018년 10월 1일부터 12월 5일까지 약 2개월 간 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 총 200부를 배포하여 180부가 회수 되었으며, 총159부를 실증분석에 이용하였다. 본 연구의 자료 통계분석은 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 21.0을 이용하였다. 분석결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 진정성 리더십 중 균형적 정보처리, 자아인식, 내면화된 도덕관점은 심리적 웰빙에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 채택되었다. 반면 진정성리더십 중 관계적 투명성은 심리적 웰빙에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 기각되었다. 둘째, 항공사 승무원이 지각하는 심리적 웰빙은 직무성과에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것 이라는 유의한 경로계수를 보여 채택되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 설정한 가설 중 가설 1-3을 제외한 나머지 가설은 모두 채택되었다.

A Study on the Self-Leadership of Flight Attendant

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the self-leadership of flight attendant and organizational effectiveness, the self-leadership of flight attendant and customer orientation, and the organizational effectiveness and customer orientation. Research design, data and methodology - To examine these research models, samples were collected from 318 flight attendants during Nov to Dec, 2019. Research Model established hypothesis 1 and hypothesis 2 that the three elements of self-leadership will affect organizational effectiveness and customer orientation. It also established hypothesis 3 that organizational effectiveness will affect customer orientation Results - The analysis on the effect of self-leadership have positive effect both on job satisfaction and organizational immersion. As a result of the relationship between organizational effectiveness and customer orientation, job satisfaction and organizational immersion have positive effect on both voluntary customer orientation and business customer orientation. Conclusions - Self-leadership affected positively on job satisfaction, organizational immersion and business customer orientation. the company have to provide flight attendant with incentives when they achieve good results. Also, company have to expand flight attendant's authority in their work environment. Organizational effectiveness affected positively on customer orientation so company have to give flight attendants with consistent seminars about company's vision and goal.

항공사 객실승무원의 일-삶 균형(WLB)이 조직몰입, 주관적 경력성공, 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of the Work-Life Balance (WLB) of Flight Attendants on Organizational Commitment, Subjective Career Success, and Turnover Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 대형항공사에 근무하고 있는 객실승무원을 대상으로 일-삶 균형(WLB)이 조직몰입, 주관적 경력성공, 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 변수들 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 데 있다. 연구방법은 유효표본 199명을 대상으로 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 20.0통계프로그램을 활용하여 타당성 등을 파악하기 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 하였고 제시된 연구가설을 검증하기 위하여 경로분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, WLB가 조직몰입에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설은 채택되었고, 둘째, WLB가 객실승무원들의 주관적 경력성공에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 가설도 채택되었다. 셋째, 승무원들의 조직몰입이 주관적 경력성공에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설도 채택되었으며, 넷째, 조직몰입은 이직의도에 부정적인 영향을 미친다는 가설도 채택되었다. 하지만, 다섯째, 주관적 경력성공이 이직의도에 부정적인 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설은 기각되었다. 마지막으로 WLB가 이직의도에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것이라는 가설은 채택되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 하여 본 연구가 갖는 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.
