국내 실정에 맞는 삼차원 도시모델링을 위한 건물모델 생성방법에 관한 연구 (Building Reconstruction for 3D City Modeling in Korea)

  • In this study, a new method is proposed generating 3D wire-frames of building using the lowest level topology, points, which are input by human operators. Through the procedure, it is possible to make prediction occlusion points and generate the topology automatically among points, lines, surfaces from buildings. In order to adjust the error of initial values which are input manually, the least squares adjustment for model-image fitting is carried out using the edge information of aerial imagery. And also, model fitting procedure is done making all surfaces plane of buildings by the least squares adjustment. As a result of those procedure, 3D building models are refined similar to real figures of buildings.

룰 베이스를 이용한 공조기의 고장검출 및 진단 (Fault Detection and Diagnosis of an Air Handling Unit Based on Rule Bases)

  • The fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) technology may be applied in order to decrease the energy consumption and the maintenance cost of the air conditioning system. In this study, rule bases and curve fitting models were used to detect faults in an air handling unit. Gradually progressed faults, such as the fan speed degradation, the coil water leakage, the humidifier nozzle clogging, the sensor degradation and the damper stoppage, were applied to the developed FBD system. Simulation results show good detections and diagnoses of these faults. Therefore, this method may be effectively used for the fault detection and diagnosis of the air handling unit.

  • It is anticipated that the accuracy of the numerical value obtained by curve fitting is mainly governed by how to evaluate the term of exponential integral involved in the theory of TSC, so that evaluation process of the instegral term concerned is replaced by Romberg numerical integral method instead of the conventional approximation method of asymtotic expansion or Simmons-Tayler with expectation to get the improved accuracy. In order to examine the effectiveness of the proposed method, the new algorithm is tried to adapt to the peak of TSC observed about 356 K im the specimen of polyethylene terephthalate in which carrier is injected by means of corona dischargel. As theresults, it is confirmed that the proposed method being cooperated with Romberg numerical intergral intergral is superior to the existing conventional curve fitting method.

  • It is important to reduce the vibration and noise of submarines and ships. For the purpose of noise reduction, various researches are actively being conducted on the employment of complex structures. However, in the case of numerical analysis for complex structures with damping materials, substantial errors can be generated by the absence of an exact damping model. Thus experimental model analysis is necessary for the verification of a numerical analysis for complex structures. In this research, vibration experiments are conducted in order to ascertain the vibration properties of cantilever beam attached damping materials. First, an initial value is obtained by using a direct linear method. Next, based on this initial value, the exact modal parameters of the cantilever beam are obtained by using the Newton-Raphson method.

복합 덕트시스템의 유량분배에 관한 1차원 해석의 적합성 (Adaptability of one-dimensional analysis for the flow distribution of a complex duct system)

  • The flow distribution characteristics in a complex duct system have been investigated in this paper by three means, namely experimental measurement, numerical simulation and the Extended T-method analysis. While the exit flow rates predicted by the three-dimensional CFD calculation and those given by the experiment show a close agreement, the results from the one-dimensional Extended T-method are found to differ from the experiment by -22.2% to 26.3% for the various exits. These discrepancies may be attributed to the underlying limitation concerning the fitting loss coefficients, which assume that the flow in front of the fittings is fully developed. It is proposed that, in order to analyse the three-dimensional flow distributions in a complex duct system by one-dimensional analysis such as the Extended T-method, further Improvements to the fitting loss coefficients should be made.

Feature Template-Based Sweeping Shape Reverse Engineering Algorithm using a 3D Point Cloud

  • This study develops an algorithm that automatically performs reverse engineering on three-dimensional (3D) sweeping shapes using a user's pre-defined feature templates and 3D point cloud data (PCD) of sweeping shapes. Existing methods extract 3D sweeping shapes by extracting points on a PCD cross section together with the center point in order to perform curve fitting and connect the center points. However, a drawback of existing methods is the difficulty of creating a 3D sweeping shape in which the user's preferred feature center points and parameters are applied. This study extracts shape features from cross-sectional points extracted automatically from the PCD and compared with pre-defined feature templates for similarities, thereby acquiring the most similar template cross-section. Fitting the most similar template cross-section to sweeping shape modeling makes the reverse engineering process automatic.

A FRACTIONAL-ORDER TUMOR GROWTH INHIBITION MODEL IN PKPD

  • Many compartment models assume a kinetically homogeneous amount of materials that have well-stirred compartments. However, based on observations from such processes, they have been heuristically fitted by exponential or gamma distributions even though biological media are inhomogeneous in real environments. Fractional differential equations using a specific kernel in Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic (PKPD) model are recently introduced to account for abnormal drug disposition. We discuss a tumor growth inhibition (TGI) model using fractional-order derivative from it. This represents a tumor growth delay by cytotoxic agents and additionally show variations in the equilibrium points by the change of fractional order. The result indicates that the equilibrium depends on the tumor size as well as a change of the fractional order. We find that the smaller the fractional order, the smaller the equilibrium value. However, a difference of them is the number of concavities and this indicates that TGI over time profile for fitting or prediction should be determined properly either fractional order or tumor sizes according to the number of concavities shown in experimental data.

YOBr:Eu3+ 형광체의 발광특성과 임계거리 연구 (Analysis of Photoluminescence of Eu3+ in YOBr and Investigation of Critical Distance)

  • YOB에 $Eu^{3+}$를 첨가하여 고상 반응으로 합성하였다. YOBr: $Eu^{3+}$ 형광체는 621nm에서 강한 적색 발광을 보이며, $Eu^{3+}$이온 농도가 0.05mol일 때 외대 발광 휘도를 나타냈다. 이때, 적색 발광을 유발하는 전이는 $^5D_0{\to} ^7F_2$ 이며, $Eu^{3+}$이온의 농도에 따른 발광 스펙트럼과 잔광시간 곡선을 통해 YOBr: $Eu^{3+}$형광체의 PL거동을 규명하였다. Inokuti-Hirayama식으로 잔광시간 곡선을 fitting 한 결과, YOBr내의 $Eu^{3+}$간 다중 극자 상호작용 유형(multipolar interaction)은 쌍극자-쌍극자 상효작용(dipole-dipole interaction)으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 본 연구에서는 임계거리를 구하기 위해 임계농도에 의한 계산 외에도 Inokuti-Hirayama식으로부터 fitting한 C/$C_0$값으로 구하는 방법과 $Eu^{3+}$의 여기 및 발광 스펙트럼으로 spectral overlap하여 임계거리를 구하고자 시도 하였다. 각각의 방법으로 구한 임계거리는 17.30, 10.51 및 7.18$\AA$으로 약간의 편차를 보이지만 대략적인 크기를 갖고 있어, 이는 계산이나 측정상의 오차를 감안하면 모두 임계거리를 구하는 유용한 방법으로 판단된다.

성인여성용 브래지어 원형 개발연구(제2보) -패턴그레이딩을 중심으로- (A Study on the Development of Basic Brassiere Pattern for Adult Women(Part II)-Focusing on Pattern Grading-)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop grading method of the basic brassiere patterns therewith, provide for 12 size's brassiere patterns and prove fitness of their's and shape. The collected data were statistically processed using the SAS 6.12 for Means, Standard Deviation, etc. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. The basic sizes adopted at the first design stage (see fig.1-2) were 75AA, 75A and 75B each of which was designed as upper foundation basic pattern in reference to the cup size. At the second stage, each of the upper body foundation basic pattern was used to design lower cup, upper up, front panel and wing in their order(see fig.3-6). At the third stage, the other sizes were graded in reference to the three brassiere patterns (75AA, 75A and 75B) to produce 12 brassiere sizes(see Tab. 7-8). In order to develop the basic patterns of adult women's brassieres, 33 women were selected per 11 size combination(3 women per size combination), and then, their brassiere fitting was teated. As a result, the fronts of the basic patterns were found to have such problems as undone front center, poor levelling of upper cup's bottom line or lower cup's top line, poor shape of upper cup's outside top line and shoulder strip position. On the other hand, on the rear side of the basic patterns, the central part of the wing was slightly lifted, while the wing width and straps'interval did not befit the ful1-cup brassiere. The result of this first brassiere fitting test showed that the functionality and aesthetics of the basic pattern brassieres were more or less satisfactory, and thus, the problems were addressed for the second teat. In the second test, the aesthetics, breast-shaping effect and functionality of the basic pattern brassieres were much improved. 2. We were to present the final brassiere sizing system to extend the interior length of breast and the exterior length of breast on the basis of fitting test. Thereby, 75B$.$80A$.$80B$.$85A$.$85B's the interior lengths of breast were enlarged to 0.7cm, the rest size was enlarged to 0.5cm and the exterior length of breast was enlarged to 0.5cm regardless of sizes. 3. S형 곡선 모델을 적용한 수축 균열 단계 평가 (A Graphical Method for Evaluation of Stages in Shrinkage Cracking Using S-shape Curve Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 수축균열 단계를 나타낼 수 있는 도해적인 방법을 제안하였다. 우선 발생된 균열들을 균열폭의 크기 순서대로 나열하여 균열 분포를 구하였다. 다음에 균열폭을 정규화하여 0에서 1사이의 값으로 나타내었다. 마지막으로 Brooks와 Corey(1964), Fredlund와 Xing(1994), van Genuchten(1980)이 제안한바 있는 S형 곡선모델에 실험 결과를 적용시켰다. 분석 결과 van Genuchten의 식이 Brooks와 Corey식보다 정확도가 크게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, Fredlund와 Xing식보다도 높게 나타나 van Genuchten의 식을 적용하였다. 결과적으로 수축균열의 단계는 정규화 된 균열폭 분포가 3개의 직선부로 나누이는 도해적인 방법으로 나타낼 수 있었다. 제안된 방법의 적용성을 보기 위해 시료의 두께에 변화를 주며 시험을 실시하였다. 측정된 데이터를 제안된 모델에 적용하여 본 결과 높은 상관성을 보여 주었다. 따라서 수축 균열은 초기수축단계, 이차수축단계 그리고 잔류수축단계의 3단계로 모사할 수 있었다. 또한 각 단계에서의 균열 폭의 범위를 제시하였다.
