응급처치 이론 및 실습 융합교육을 받은 대상자들의 응급처치에 대한 인식 (Cognition for First Aid in Persons Taking First Aid Education Theory and Practice related to Convergence Training)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 응급처치교육을 받은 대상자들이 인식하는 응급처치에 대한 인식 유형별 차이를 이해하여, 이에 따른 응급처치와 관련된 교육내용 및 교육방법과 응급처치 관련 실무 중재 방안 개발의 기초를 제공하는 데 있다. 본 연구방법은 J지역에 있는 일반인과 의료인 중 응급처치 교육을 받은 48명을 P-표본으로 추출하여 30개의 진술문을 사용해 자료분석은 PC QUANL program으로 처리하였다. 자료수집은 2010년 3월부터 2010년 7월까지하였다. 응급처치에 대한 일반인의 인식유형은 3개의 유형이 나타났다. 제1유형은 '시간 중시형', 제2유형은 '최초 반응자 중시형', 제3유형은 '융합교육 중시형', 제4유형은 '일반인 가능성형'으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 응급처치 유형에 따른 개별화되고 단계적인 교육방법과 중재방안의 개발이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

Effects of a First Aid Coaching Program on First Aid Knowledge, Confidence, and Performance of Child Care Teachers

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a first aid coaching program (FACP) and to investigate its effects on the first aid knowledge, confidence, and performance of childcare teachers. Methods: A Delphi survey that included 16 experts was used to develop the FACP. A total of 60 participants were included to test the effectiveness of the program. The FACP developed using the survey results focused on improving first aid knowledge, confidence, and performance using a coaching-based method. First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performance was assessed using 39 items from the program content. Results: Using a 3-round Delphi survey, 6 areas and 42 detailed topics for group and individual coaching programs were developed. The knowledge scores were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=4.24, p=.001). The confidence scores were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group (F=3.89, p<.001). The performance scores were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=12.40, p<.001). Conclusion: Continuous application of the FACP among child care teachers is expected to minimize the harm caused by minor accidents at child care facilities. This program should be formally implemented on a consistent basis.

일부 군인들의 치아외상에 대한 태도와 응급처치 교육필요성과의 관련성 (Relation of necessity of the first aid education and attitude about traumatic dental injuries in some military men)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the traumatic injuries by first aid education and mouth protector in some military men. Methods : Among 195 military men, a total of 164 military men filled out the self-administered questionnaire and the return rate was 84.1%. The data were evaluated statistically using chi-square analysis. Results : 81.5% of respondents agreed that first aid education is necessary and 48.2% of respondents agreed that mouth protector of is necessary. In managing tooth fracture, subluxation, and avulsion, the military men answered the necessity of the first aid education revealed 87.2%, 86.8%, and 91.5%, respectively. The questions in managing tooth fracture, subluxation showed that mouth protector is necessary 56.3%, 49.0% respectively. In managing tooth fracture with reattachment, the necessity of the first aid education showed 88.9%. Conclusions : In order to get the knowledge about emergency treatment of traumatic injuries in military men, it is necessary to develop the professional education program for the dental hygiene personnel.

경련 발작에 대한 초.중.고교 응급처치교육 모듈 평가 (Evaluation of First aid educational module on convulsion and seizure for students)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of first aid education module on convulsion and seizure for students in elementary, middle and high school. Methods : This study has implemented to 2 types of test groups and control group in each 3rd and 5th grade of elemenary school, 2nd grade of middle school and high school within target school. The data were collected through a self-reported questionnaire to before, after and one month after education from July, 11 to September 4, 2007. Results : The test group who received first aid education possessed greater knowledge about convulsion and seizure relative to the control group not received education. The overall students has satisfied and been understood well with this module. The educators agreed to the practical aspects of this module in school setting. Conclusion : The above results implicated the importance of a continuous and systematic first aid education program among students. For effective first aid education, there needs a development of targeted educational materials for each grade student and training programs for educators.

일부 초등학교 학생들의 응급처치 교육효과 -기도 폐쇄 시 응급처치 교육을 중심으로- (Effects of a First-aid Skills Training for Elementary Students - Focus on Management of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction -)

  • Purpose: This paper compares practical first aid training and theoretical first aid training in elementary schools. Methods: Research subjects were randomly selected and sorted into experimental and control groups. The former is one class (28 students) of the fifth grade students, and the latter is another class (30 students). In order to verify the effect of first aid training, we conducted theoretical as well as practical first-aid instruction about foreign body airway obstruction to the experimental group, but conducted only theoretical instruction with the control group. Data were analyzed by the ${\chi}^2$-test and t-test, one-way using the SPSS / win 12.0 program. The results were as follows (p=.05). Results: The first hypothesis was that the knowledge of an experimental group would be better than that of a control group. The analysis showed a significant difference (p=.000) between the two groups, supporting this hypothesis. The second hypothesis was that the experimental group would be more accurate than the control group. There was no because of (p=.000) between the two groups on this measure. The third hypothesis, that the two groups would vary over time on the measure of accuracy, was supported by the following observations: the experimental results were accumulated before, two days after and two weeks after the training (experimental group, p=.000, and control group, p=.000). This supports the third hypothesis that the technical performance accuracy levels of complete respiratory obstruction first aid vary over time. Conclusion: First aid training has to include practical education as well as theoretical education in the future, as part of a school's health education for elementary students. Health education classrooms should be prepared to teach first-aid theory and be supplied with equipment for practical exercises. Schools, communities, and private organizations need to carry out the practical education component periodically.

요양보호사의 응급상황 및 교육 경험, 응급처치 지식 및 교육요구도 (Experience of Emergency Situation and Experience of Education, First Aid Knowledge and Educational Needs of Caregivers)

  • Purpose: This study was a descriptive research to provide basic data for the development of a customized emergency education program to strengthen the capacity of first aid for nursing caregivers. Method: The number of caregivers in region G was 193, and data collection was conducted from April 1 to April 30, 2018. Data were analyzed using a t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and Scheffe test. Results: In the study group 47.2% experienced an emergency situation. The first aid knowledge was 10.21; the correct answer rate was 56.0%; the basic CPR knowledge was 3.99; the correct answer rate was 49.7%. After asking for help, first aid was the most difficult. In general first aid knowledge was 6.21 points and the correct answer rate was 62.2%. They understood well about strokes, injuries and trauma, but had difficulty in consciousness, depression, and burns. For first aid knowledge, there were significant differences according to age, working hours, place of work, working experience, emergency situation, and education. Of the study group, 59.6% experienced emergency training, 96.9% wanted it, and 72.0% had low emergency response skills. Moreover, 93.3% answered for having emergency education. Conclusion: The results suggest that a personalized emergency education program for nursing caregivers should be developed and applied.

경호전공 대학생의 응급처치 인식 수준 및 교육 필요성에 관한연구 (A study of the need for education and first aid recognition level of Security major students)

  • 본 연구는 우발상황에 유연하고 능숙하게 대처해야 하는 훈련을 받고 있는 경호전공 대학생들의 응급처치에 대한 인식을 조사하여 응급처치의 중요성과 효율적인 교육 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 이 연구에서 수집된 자료의 분석은 통계프로그램인 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 응급처치교욱을 받은 사람과 받지 않은 사람의 평균 점수차이가 없는 것은 교육이 제대로 이루어지지 않거나 전문화되고 체계적인 교육이 필요하다는 것을 증명하였다. 둘째, 응급처치교육이 제대로 실시되고 있지 않으며 많은 문제점이 도출되어 있다. 셋째, 응급처치 교육기관에 따른 지식수준의 차이가 없으므로 응급처치교육을 받는 장소는 지식수준에 영향이 없다. 따라서 우발 상황에 적극 대처할 수 있는 역량을 높이기 위한 실질적인 응급처치 교육이 반드시 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

택시 운전자의 응급처치 시행의지에 대한 응급처치 교육 효과 (The Effect of First-aid Training for Taxi Drivers on Their Willingness to Perform Emergency Care)

  • Purpose: After a traffic accident, first-aid performed within the first few minutes is important for the injured in terms of survival, future health, and quality of life. Taxi drivers have more possibility of witnessing traffic accidents because they spend much time on the road. If taxi drivers are well trained and can perform first-aid in a correct manner, they will play an important role in pre-hospital emergency medical services. We investigated the effect of first-aid training on taxi drivers' willingness to perform emergency care. Methods: We provided first-aid training for 600 deluxe taxi drivers in Busan in 2012. The subjects were given a questionnaire to answer at the beginning and at the end of first-aid training. Results: 427 out of 600 deluxe taxi drivers answer our questionnaire completely. 93 out of 427 deluxe taxi drivers answered that they had first-aid training within past 3 years(21.8%). 323 taxi drivers have witnessed a traffic accident(76%). 45 out of 323 deluxe taxi drivers who witnessed a traffic accident answered that they provided first-aid to victims(14.0%). After first-aid training, taxi drivers' willingness to perform emergency care was increased compared to that before training. The failed group of taxi drivers that had same or decreased willingness after first-aid training had a low level of education than the successful group that had increased willingness after first-aid training. Conclusion: First-aid training increased taxi drivers' willingness to perform emergency care. So Taxi drivers should be encouraged more to undertake and maintain first-aid training. For more volunteering of first-aid training and improvement in the effect of first-aid training, a graded education program for taxi drivers with a low level of education should be developed, and a policy on giving credit for completing first-aid training course and for carrying out first-aid needs to be formulated.

보건계열 여대생과 비보건계열 여대생의안전의식 실천과 응급처치 지식에 대한 실태 조사(광주지역을 중심으로) (Actual Survey on the Safety Conscious Practice and First Aid Knowledge of Health Department and Non-Health Department Female College Students (Oriented to Gwangju area))

  • Purpose : This study is to supply basal data need to development of First-Aid education program for female college students of non-health department that we surveyed safety awareness practice, First-Aid knowledge, educational requirement and necessity of the female college students of health and non-health department. Methods : This date was collected from September 1th in 2012 until October 5th by 5 person selected of which explain to purpose and method of the writing. We distributed the subject questionnaire of total 410 and analyzed questionnaire 385 only. Results : The results of this study are follows. First, the health group was higher than non-health group in conductive score of safety awareness and score of First-Aid knowledge in female students and there was statistically significant difference. Second, There was significant difference in Economical state, Educational state of the Safety awareness Practice score and First-Aid knowledge score about the general characteristic of the female college students of health department. Third, there wasn't significant difference in most of all item of the Safety awareness Practice score and First-Aid knowledge score about the general characteristic of the female college students of non-health department. Conclusion : Finally, We found that the female college students of health department lower than the female college students of non-health department in First-Aid knowledge level and surveyed that they felt the needs of First-Aid education. Therefore, there are able to need the opening of a course in order to raise the quality of safety awareness and First-Aid knowledge or to needs construction of educational system in continuously.

선박 의약품 관리 및 의료관리자 교육 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Ship's Medication and Medical Manager Education Program)

  • The medical manager has taken charge of medical care on board ship. However the domestic and international regulations concerning the qualifications and education of medical manger are primarily focused on first aid, aspect nursing, etc. There are no education contents on medicine. The purpose of this research is to identify the problems of ship's medication and medical manager education system, and propose the some improvements. The first is to expand the education on medicine and medical devices in the range of 3-4 hours. The second is to amend the national and international regulations to include education on medicine and medication. The third is to improve the ships and vessels medicine management system to systematically manage the medicines supplied to the vessels.
