  • This study examines the indirect effects of new product development(NPD) on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation(EO) and business performance is contingent on organization size. Although previous studies have revealed that EO has a positive effect on business performance and NPD, there have been no research attempts to comprehensively grasp the causal path of EO, NPD, and business performance. Therefore, this study analyzed the causal path focusing not only on final financial business performance affected by EO but also on the mediating role of new product development, which is an intermediate performance. Based on the sample of 3,299 firms from the 2018 Entrepreneurship Survey(Corporate), we analyzed the EO-NPD-business performance relationship and explored whether such an indirect effect of EO on business performance differs depending on the size of the firm. The results showed that EO has a positive impact on business performance and NPD. In addition, NPD positively mediates the relationship between EO and business performance under the condition of large size firm, although NPD does not have a direct effect on business performance. With the findings, the current study has principal implications for practicing managers. The result of this study is not to suggest that NPD triggered by EO is a panacea for improving final business performance. The study suggests a need to equip organizational capabilities to successfully commercialize new products and appeal to the market and customers, beyond simply developing new products seeking newness based on EO.

  • Recently BIM technology has been expanded for using in construction project. However its spread has been delayed than the initial expectations, due to the high-cost of BIM infrastructure development, the lack of regulations, the lack of process and so forth. In design phase, especially, collaboration based on BIM system has being a key factor for successful next generation building project. Through the analysis of current research trend about IT technologies, virtualization and BIM service, data exchange such as drawing, 3D model, object data, properties using cloud computing and virtual server system is defined as a most successful solution. In various industrial fields, cloud computing technology is utilized as a promising solution which can reduce time and cost of hardware infrastructure. Among the cloud computing technology, VDI is receiving a great deal of attention from it market as an essential part cloud computing. VDI enables to host multiple individual virtual machines by using hypervisor. It has an advantage to easy main device management. Therefore, this study implements a step-by-step user's DaaS by analyzing the desktop resource data of the workers from Pre-design phase to Schematic design, Design develop and Construction design phase. It also develops BIM environment based on test of BIM modeler and designers in architectural design firm. The goal of the study is to enable the cloud computing BIM server. • The foundation of any association or organization should include a mission, a vision, and strategic goals. Vision and mission are frequently discussed in academic and practitioner literature and accepted as key items in strategic decisions. But in these days, the words"change and crisis"are what companies are familiar with. They bringing about uncertainty led the companies to search for new strategies in order to specify their directions. In case of making proper direction for some organization, the role of management philosophy is most important. And also identifying, clarifying and communicating the management philosophy is now a major part of the planning process. This study examines the characteristics of management philosophy items which including mission and vision in Korean fisheries business with contents analysis. in order to achieve these purpose, this research analysing the mission, vision and CEO's greeting with the social network analysis(SNA) which is the most dominant technique in contents analysis. The SNA is evaluated that most popular, rigorous and firm methodology for analyzing, examining and revising some concepts or objects in the context of semantics. The findings of social network analysis show that some critical problems are existed. First, most of the fisheries company did not fully announce the mission and vision irrespective of one's size or scale. Second, there is some coverage insufficiency of stakeholders in mission and vision. And cutting edge topics like environmental problem, corporate social responsibility, consumer sovereignty are not included in management philosophy.

  • PL has been developed centering around England and America. Recently many countries are introducing PL system changing the world a single economic bloc based on the rapid development of Technology and Economy. This paper is studied with related literatures and theses, organizational consulting cases within the framework of the firm as the central operating bodies of PL system. In the past, Some papers about System Integration which was operated as a same Certificate System and enacted in a single organization, was studied and presented. But most of papers was a theoretical study related model and conception. In this situation Government supports PSMS of a single system at government expense to 100200 companies for improving organizational confrontation ability of PL this year. This paper proposed a design and effect of Integration system model based on the analysis of ISO 9001:2000, KS, PSMS and ISO 14001. The integrated system has the following three distinctions. Firstly, KS is a national establishment, national leading certification and forcing standard. Secondly, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 are an international organization's establishment, nonofficial certification and optional standard. Finally, PSMS isn't a national law and forcing matter. And it isn't the concept of certification but the operational system by itself. Also if a lawsuit by defect is happened, it is very dangerous. This paper, which is integrated by four management systems and has many consulting cases, is the first in this department and is different from others. Also If people has the basic knowledge about management system, they can directly connect it to the organizational system according to this paper's guidance. It is very good result in this study because the law of PL is executed now.

  • This study shows a theoretical model, based on transaction cost theory, for the choice of alternative work arrangement, Suppose that standard labor contract (permanent and full-time) is a typical labor contract of within-organization transaction and alternative labor contracts of variety are in the spectrum between market and within-organization transaction, the type and size of the market transaction cost for a specific labor would determine the appropriate labor contract. Firm-specificity and level of skill, scope and uncertainty of tasks, and duration of contract are the major determinants of transaction cost which, in turn, determines the type of labor contract. This theoretical model implies that there will be occupational segregation between standard and alternative work arrangements and that the legal regulations for protecting employment and wage of non-standard workers might not be so effective as expected.

  • Large corporations have the work and roles of employees clearly defined in accordance with their established internal structure whereas small and mid-sized firms may lack an official job specification or a written job description, causing ambiguity in the role of employees. In IT service companies, especially, there is a relatively large number of tasks requiring one person to play multiple roles and they are often highly dependent on few key players. In this reality where about 80% of the job seekers end up in SMEs, it is therefore necessary to look into how the turnover factors such as job strain and occupational burnout caused by the role ambiguity from extra work affect the turnover intentions of small and medium sized IT service firm employees. The outcome of this study is as follows. First, the relationship between job strain and turnover intention has been examined to find that a weak inverted U shaped relationship exists between role overload, which is a subset of job strain, and turnover intention. Second, the hypothesis based on the competing values framework has been tested that the fitness with organizational leadership and culture would moderate the relationship between job strain and turnover intention and it has been confirmed that the degree of relationship between role conflict and role ambiguity, the subsets of job strain, and turnover intention has changed. In conclusion, in order to discourage turnover intention, it is necessary to increase the fitness with the organization and leadership or generate a sufficient level of strain in case of an organization with low fitness.

  • The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)-Requirements in 1987 and has revised four times since then. ISO 9001:2015 is the latest edition. This latest edition has two most noticeable changes. The first major change of new edition focuses on performance with an emphasis on Risk-Based Thinking (RBT) to enhance the process approach. The new edition consists of ten clauses whose first three clauses are largely same as older edition but risks are clearly stated and stressed in last seven clauses, emphasizing on Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle at all levels in the organization. The second major change is that the new edition has the same overall structure as other ISO management system standards known as High Level Structure (HLS) with Annex SL. The companies obtained the certificate of new ISO 9001:2015 QMS by September 15, 2018 in order to maintain as an ISO QMS registered firm. In this article we collected transition audit data from more than 100 companies that registered ISO 9001:2015 QMS for recent three years. We performed a statistical analysis to disclose the relationships between the characteristics of companies and the minor nonconformities found in ISO 9001:2015 requirements during transition audit processes. We also aim to interpret the findings and deduce the implications of the statistical results.

  • Traditional cost system is distorted due to the using unit-based measure. It is being criticized that it do a poor job of attributing the expenses of support resources to the production and sales of individual product. Activity Based Cost System expend the range of second-stage cost assignment drivers beyond the traditional measures of labor and machine times, units produced, and material quantities to allow for drivers that measure the amount of batch-level, product-sustaining, and facility-sustaining activities performed. It is a resources consumption model of organization, not just a more complex cost accounting of cost allocation system. This paper proposes a enterprise resource planning by activity based management. To effective performance system for company that want to be setting competitive levels, the information systems must support a fast moving, rapidly changing. Activity based management is a process of accumulating and tracing cost and performance da to a firm's activities and providing feedback of actual results against the planned cost to initiate corrective action where required. Therefore this system provides a highly powerful decision-making tool. To construct this system, we need Enterprise Resource Planning System. Since ERP is designed around the idea that rapid change and a degree of unhandled change is normal, it allows driving the customer's rapidly needs much deeper through the business cycle.
