화재에 대한 부모경험을 통한 인식도와 부모교육 요구도 분석 (Analysis of perception and parent education demand through parent experience of fire)

  • This study is based on parents that have preschool children of age 4~5, and analyzes the perception and parent education demand through parent experience of fire. As a result of the study about perception through parent experience about safety life, safety accidents, safety education of fire, the effect of parents' safety consciousness to fire safety life turned out to be moderate for fathers and large for mothers. The safety education method was mostly done in speaking than experience for fathers, while mothers did education through experience in daily life. Also the difficulties in safety education was lack of educating time for fathers while it was lack of knowledge and methods for mothers. Perception through parent experience of fire safety accidents showed that fathers did not have experience of fire safety accidents while mothers did. The locations perceived by parents where fires mostly occurred showed to be within home for both parents, and both administered first aid in managing fires. Perception through parent experience of fire safety education showed the importance of fire safety education to be important in both parents, and both parents had no experience in fire safety education. Also the fire safety education knowledge acquisition method was TV or the Internet for fathers, while it was participating in seminars or lectures for mothers. Fathers were moderately satisfied of the fire safety education instruction of childhood education centers, while mothers were slightly dissatisfied. For the demand of parent education about fire safety education, fathers were moderate while mothers thought it necessary of parent education necessity. The reason why parent education was needed was to be able to know immediate and prompt measures and first aid treatment in emergency situations for fathers, while it was to figure out the cause of fire safety accidents and prevent it beforehand for mothers. For the education institution of fire safety education, fathers demanded it for safety related institutions while mothers demanded it for children education institutions, and the number of times for parent education was once or twice a year for fathers while it was once a month for mothers. For the parent education instructor of fire safety education, fathers demanded safety education experts while mothers demanded infant teachers that completed the safety education course. For the fire safety education method of parent education, fathers demanded Internet searching while mothers demanded seminars or lectures.

  • Preschoolers are the most effective age to start fire safety education. But, if the education contents are inappropriate, they may form the wrong habit to preschoolers. Many educational contents of fire safety in Korea are not so obvious in the principle and order of priority about what to do during fire and they often contain unnecessary contents to preschoolers such as how to use fire extinguisher. This paper has analyzed fire safety awareness of preschoolers and teachers and, based on the results, has claimed unsuitability of training on how to use fire extinguisher and has suggested the improvement of fire safety education.

유아 화재사고 예방을 위한 화재안전 교육프로그램 개발 방향 탐색 (Fire Safety Education Programs for Preventing Fire Accident of Young Children)

  • 본 연구에서는 유아들의 화재로 인한 피해실태와 문제점을 살펴보고, 미국의 화재안전교육 프로그램과 우리나라의 화재안전교육의 법적 근거를 고찰하여 유아 화재사고 예방을 위한 화재안전교육 프로그램의 방향을 탐색하고자 한다. 연구결과로 첫째, 우리나라 아동의 화재 및 화상사고로 인한 사망률이 영국, 독일, 스웨덴에 비해 높았다. 둘째, 우리나라 유아화재안전교육은 아동복지법, 유치원교육과정, 표준보육과정에서 의무적으로 실시하도록 법으로 명시하고 있다. 셋째, 유아 화재 사고 예방을 위해 유아의 발달에 적합한 화재안전교육을 실시하여야 하며, 다양한 시청각 매체와 체험활동 프로그램을 제공해주어야 한다. 마지막으로 체계적인 유아 화재안전교육을 위해 교사 및 보호자를 대상으로 하는 화재안전교육이 병행되어야 한다.

메타버스 활용 안전교육이 초등학생의 소방안전의식에 미치는 영향 (Examining the Impact of Metaverse-Based Safety Education on Elementary School Students' Fire Safety Awareness)

  • This study aims to verify the impact of a metaverse-based safety education program on the fire safety awareness of elementary school students. Utilizing the National Fire Agency's 119 metaverse program, an educational program was implemented for two months, and the experimental group was examined using paired-sample t-tests, while comparisons with the control group were made using independent-sample t-tests. The results revealed statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the area of fire prevention. Although no statistically significant differences were observed over time within each group, the overall average scores for the entire class improved across all areas. Based on these findings, the effectiveness of metaverse-based safety education is suggested; however, a significant difference compared to traditional education was not detected. The study concludes by exploring implications for considerations in the implementation of metaverse safety education in the future.

  • 본 연구에서는 어린이 안전교육 분야 중에서 소방안전교육을 중점적으로 다루고자 한다. 이에 먼저 소방안전교육의 이론적 배경을 고찰하였고, 초등학교 안전사고현황과 사례를 분석하였으며, 현재 경기도 고양소방서에서 실시하고 있는 초등학교 소방과학교실을 중심으로 소방과학교실의 교육개요 및 현황, 교육 목적 및 내용, 그리고 소방과학교실에 참여한 초등학생들과 담당교사를 대상으로 설문지를 통한 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 향후 화학이나 물리의 과학에 기반을 두고 있는 소방관련 화학 실험을 일반 및 청소년에게도 보급하여 자연스러운 소방교육 및 홍보 관련뿐만 아니라 학습과 소방상식을 동시에 직접 체험하는 즐거움(fun)과 놀라움(surprise)이 있는 프로그램으로 새로운 소방교육 홍보영역을 개발함으로서 우리나라 초등학교 소방안전교육의 활성화 방안에 관하여 대안을 제시하고자 하였다.

부사관학과 학생들의 소방안전교육 경험과 생활안전의식에 관한 연구 (Research for the Experience of Fire Fighting Aafety Education and Living Safety Consciousness of Department of Noncommissioned Officer in College Students)

  • The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the awareness survey on the experience of fire fighting safety education and living safety consciousness of college students in the department of noncommissioned officer. Additionally, making provision of basic references and the effective fire fighting safety education is another important purpose of this study. In order to evaluate the awareness, the survey consist of 43 queries based on 6 queries for general characters, 9 queries for experiences of fire fighting safety education and 30 queries for living safety consciousness. The collected data from survey was analyzed using SPSS 20.0 win program. The interrelationship for general characters was confirmed using analysis of frequency, percentage, independent T-tset, ANONVA analysis, and regression analysis. The results show that the experience of fire fighting safety education and living safety consciousness of students from the combatant branch and ordnance corps are higher than those students from quartermaster corps. This may be attributed to the presence or absence of safety relevant courses on a curriculum. Therefore, the presence of safety courses on a curriculum should be one of important points for improving the experience of fire fighting safety education and living safety consciousness of these college students.

Review of K-12 Metaverse Safety Education in Korea :Ministry of Education Official Program

  • To enhance safety in dangerous situations, it is essential to provide practice-oriented safety education. However, direct experiences can be limited, and thus, metaverse-based safety education is emerging as an alternative. In this study, we analyzed the first official metaverse safety education program of the Korea Ministry of Education, mainly focusing on its title, objectives, content, and results using the Revised PRISMA framework. The program concentrates on "life safety" for "fire safety," "disaster safety" for "earthquake safety," and "first aid" for "abrasions, burns, fractures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the use of AED." We classified the objectives of the entire program and its three sub-programs, and identified the knowledge, main practice tasks, and their results. The aim of this study is to promote an understanding of the main cases of national-led metaverse safety education and infer the practical safety education contents emphasized to Korean school-age students.

공연형 소방안전교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Performance forms Fire Safety Education Program)

  • In school safety education, it was difficult to apply how to link the safety education according to grades year, and student's interest was reduced due to the repetition of existing safety education contents and the absence of new teaching methods and tools. In this study, as a new type of safety education, a performance forms fire safety education program was developed. This program aims to increase students' interest and satisfaction in safety education, and to this end, it was connect with korean elementary science curriculum and combined various engineering teaching materials or tools and methods. Developed program was applied to 2,231 students, 25 schools in 10 regions of Gyeonggi-do and surveyed 476 fifth and sixth grade students program satisfaction and 3 factors of interest in fire safety education who could respond to the survey. As a result of applying the program, more than 90% of students responded more than 'satisfied' in all areas. and statistical test(independent t-test and non-parametric test) indicates over-all satisfaction and interest factors in the program are high regardless of gender and grade, so the effectiveness can be guessed indirectly and there is a universal applicability also. Moreover, examining the influence of student interest level in the satisfaction of the fire safety program, it was found that in order to increase the satisfaction of fire safety education, students should have more fun with the content and feel interest in the teacher's teaching method or explanation.

위험물안전관리자 강습교육의 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Hazardous Material Safety Supervisor Lecturing Education)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내에서의 위험물 사고 현황을 분석함으로써 화재안전성 및 화재의식 측면에서의 취약요인을 파악하였고, 위험물 안전관리자를 선임해야 하는 위험물제조소등의 종류 및 규모가 현재 법적으로 어떻게 규정되어 있는지 조사하였으며, 또한 한국소방안전협회에서 주관하는 위험물안전관리자 강습교육을 받는 사람들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 바탕으로 위험물 안전관리자 강습교육에 대한 보다 효율적이고 체계적인 강습교육과정을 마련코자 하였다.

초등학교 교사의 소방안전의식에 관한 연구 -영주시를 중심으로- (A Study on the Recognition of Elementary Teacher on Fire Safety : Focusing on Yeongju city)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 교사의 소방안전에 관한 의식을 조사하여 초등학교에서 소방안전교육이 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하기 위하여 수행되었다. 설문조사는 영주시 초등학교에 재직 중인 교사 203명에 대하여 2003년 9월 5일부터 9일까지 실시되었으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 교사들은 소방안전교육의 필요성은 매우 인식하나 수업비중은 조금 낮게 생각하며, 실제적인 교육은 더욱 낮게 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. 교사들은 안전교육 분야 중 교통안전을 가장 중요하게 여기며, 다음으로 놀이안전, 시설물안전 및 소방안전 순으로 중요하게 생각하였다. 교사들은 소방안전교육에 따른 어려움으로 관심부족(36.0%), 자료 또는 시간 부족(31.5%) 등을 들었으며, 효과적인 소방안전교육을 위한 요구사항으로는 소방안전전문가의 초청교육(62.1%), 교육자료의 개발 보급(10.3%) 등이었다.
