  • This study examined the efficient management of a fire protection system using spatial information, and basic data for the development of related firefighting industry were obtained. To overcome the problems of malfunction and management failure, which are the major issues of fire protection system management, this study analyzed the related laws and regulations on building spatial information of a fire protection system to introduce spatial information to the fire protection system field. For efficient management of the fire protection system, it is necessary to revise the related laws of the fire protection system, such as protection system-related laws including space information technology, and maintain the standardization, effectiveness, and consistency of fire protection system spatial information.

  • Fire protection management system has been introduced to prevent structure fire since establishment of Fire Prevention Act. Nevertheless, Damage by fires is continue. The main purpose of this study is to discuss approaches to improve fire protection management system into the fire prevention properties. Now fire protection management system has lots of the problems in managerial and systematical aspects. To improve these a unified fire protection management system must be establish by suggests revision of a unified Fire Prevention Act and foundation of Fire Prevention Institution, reform educational system for the fire safety directors would be essential to includes environment improvement, enhancement of certification requirements and education, a standardized computational management system of the fire protection properties must be build for efficient fire protection operations.

  • We studied on corrosion of sprinklers system fire protection, a cause on corrosion of fire installations and a source of the problem. We investigated the influence of fluid mechanics on the corrosion shape of sprinklers system fire protection installations. And we known a problem of early fire extinguishing in fire protection with corrosion.

The object of this study is present the problem which appear from the analysis of place standard for fire protection facility. This study described as a following order. First. We are going to look history of the fire protection system and change course of that with the year and facility. Second, We say the frame system and special nature of the foreign fire prevent Act. Third. We understand the control reality of fire protection system. Fourth. We took out the merit of foreign fire prevent law and the problem of our current domestic system. The placing standard of proper fire protection facilities that be presented from this study are followed next. 1) We have reinforce sprinkler system placing standard for the fire extinguishing and check the spread of fire. 2) We must to be ruled the standard for keeping fire prevention system that are received reality and people's idea. 3) We should prepare lawful basis which can be place fire prevention center. 4) We have to correct the standard of use about complex building without mainuse and we take increase the real effectiveness of this. 5) We ought to match the use of current fire prevention act and the use of architecture law.

  • This research analyzed the operational status of fire protection system managers who execute self inspection of the fire equipment in the specific fire protection facilities and presented the improvement scheme. Being made up inquiry for job environment, institutional environment, and operational environment for the subject of fire protection system managers who execute self inspection to complement the fire equipment inspection by city public fire protection service, the issues of the operational status of the institution of fire protection system managers were positively understood. The research result showed the conflict among building owner, fire equipment inspector, and fire protection system manager was existed due to the legal and institutional inertia to the self inspection, so it is judged that mutual complementary and cooperative relation should be established.

  • In this paper, We are going to propose the fire protection system with using CAN(Controller Area Network). The larger, higher and deeper buildings are, the more dangerous people are when fire happens. We should be aware of the problems of prior fire protection system. Therefore, we construct embedded system based on CAN communication that is capable of N:N communication, and build independent fire protection system. If the fire is occurred on the building, the problem is that how fast we can detect the fire and put off it by using available system. this is major factor that reduces damage of our wealth. therefore in this studies We would like to design more stable system than current system. this system that is based on CAN communication which is available N:N communication constructs and is designed to compensate for each fault so that our aim is to reduce the line of system and cost of installation and to suppose future type fire protection system. We are simulated by NIST FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator) to prove the efficiency of this system.

  • The fire protection system for high-rise buildings is currently confined to the preparation of sprinklers, emergency stairs, and exit and monitoring systems. On the other hand, an integrated system, including the model with scenario-based actions, is required for effective fire protection. An integrated fire protection system is needed to operate and manage the total cycle of the fire protection. In this study, an integrated fire protection system, which included sensing and consequent processes related to fire emergencies, was designed and implemented. The designed scheme can gather and analyze the data of the production, operation, and consumption patterns as it integrates fire protection systems for fire fighters and evacuating people. The integrated fire protection technology and system, which has target performance with satisfied 1/2 sec transaction response time and 1.2 transactions per second, is expected to contribute to market creation in converged technology-based fire protection fields.

  • Reliability of fire protection systems is often discussed, written about, and even put into codes and standards. However, reliability is seldom considered for the fire protection system as a whole. Why does this happen and why should the designer consider the system as a whole\ulcorner Existing codes and standards incorporate the concept of reliability usually In the form of key component redundancy for some parts of a system. The "Fire Safety Concepts Tree" presented in the National Fire Protection Association Guide 550, Guide to the Fire Safety Concepts Tree, provides a starting point for considering the performance of a water based fire suppression system. Considering fire protection objectives for water based fire suppression systems, means of evaluating system reliability can be developed. This development requires identification of system components that are significant to the overall system reliability.

  • For managing fire safety system in building by ubiquitous management system, the index system to express the performance level of fire protection system is demanded. If some component formed fire protection system such as sprinkler water supply system is breakdown, that will fall down the performance of fire protection capacity. Consequently, it will affects the level of fire safety of building management and energy response. Consequently, Building fire protection system could give performance level of fire protection condition and the level of fire safety in building. It will also contribute to the development of wide area fire safety management. This development of index system has been developed as a part of the development project of Ubiquitous building fire management system.
