이 연구는 LPG 충전소의 가스누출로 발생이 예상되는 화재 및 폭발에 따른 피해예측에 ALOHA 프로그램을 적용 영향범위와 거리를 도식화함으로 피해방지 방안을 제시하였다. LPG 충전소에서 프로판 가스가 누출될 경우 LPG 충전소 주변지역 주민들에게 호흡곤란 등의 인명피해 및 건물파괴 등 재산피해를 입히는 것으로 나타났다. 이의 감소방안으로 첫째 LPG 충전소의 위험물안전관리자는 수시로 계측기와 안전밸브가 제대로 작동하는지 점검하여 누출을 사전에 방지할 필요가 있다. 둘째 LPG 충전소에서 저장탱크에 충전하는 작업은 위험물안전관리법 규정에 따라 "위험물안전관리자 교육"을 받고, 소방관서에서 "위험물안전관리자"로 선임된 사람의 책임하에 해야 한다는 것이다. 셋째 LPG차량의 과충전 방지장치 등 각종 안전장치의 기능을 평상시 정기적으로 점검할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 LPG 충전소에 가스가 누출될 때 정전기에 의해 화재가 발생할 수 있으므로 정전기를 방지할 수 있는 작업복·작업화를 착용하는 등의 조치로 정전기발생을 억제하는 것이 바람직하다.

Recently, there has been increased demand for automatic warehouses with racks which are installed inside the warehouses to allow vertical loading of products or goods for space efficiency. Therefore considerations about fire hazards are extremely necessary. In this study, the fire hazard of automatic warehouse with racks was analyzed in the view of fire prevention engineering. It appeared its fire hazard was extremely high because of the undefined fire zones, the windowless floor, the large volume, the difficulty of extinguishment and the smoke emission in the view of building itself, and because of the fire hazard of load itself, the high fire load, and the chimney effect in the view of fire.

Fire is a disaster of uncertainty, but since it is an artificial disaster essentially, this study is to emphasize that prevention and suppression of fire should be done more efficiently to develop the national love and trust of fire fighting. And it examines small neighboring living facilities which can be the typical dead ground of fire fighting based on researcher's experiences, intuition and related materials. The main course of the study defines the concept of fire fighting administration, dead ground and small neighboring living facilities. compares and analyzes fire fighting at small neighboring living facilities and the whole fire fighting cases and divides the causes of dead ground of fire fighting into preventive administration and suppressive administration sides. Those causes were resulted from discrepancies of political and social structures, but some of them can be improved depending on firemen's efforts. In addition, the means available for preventing the dead ground of fire fighting based on analyzed causes are suggested. Institutional approaches should be consulted with related agencies and legalized, but most managerial approaches can be introduced easily. Other means are approached for PR.

본 논문은 연기감지기의 응답특성을 분석하여 주택용 화재감지기로 적합한지를 분석하고자 광전식연기감지기, 아날로그연기감지기, 단독경보형연기감지기를 시험체로 선정하여 UL 268에서 정하는 화재시험방법을 응용하여 화재성상(종이화재와 인화성액체화재)에 따른 연기감지기의 응답특성을 분석하고자 화재실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 화재성상에 따라 연기감지기의 응답특성 차이가 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구는 소방공무원의 전문성 및 채용의 효율적 개선방안을 도출하기 위한 연구로, 설문조사 및 각종 공무원 채용방법과의 비교연구를 통해 현재의 소방공무원 채용방법의 문제점을 조사·분석하였다. 이를 근거로 소방관련학과 졸업생의 특별채용, 일반공개채용 및 처우에 관한 개선방안을 도출하였다. 연구 결과 얻어진 결론은 특별채용의 확대실시, 업무와의 연계성을 고려한 채용시험의 과목조정 등에 대한 구체적인 개선방안을 제안하였다.
