Almost all companies have paid much attention to the safety management ranging from maintenance to operation even at the stage of designing in order to prevent accidents, but fatal accidents continue to increase throughout the world. In particular, it is essential to systematically prevent such fatal accidents as fire, explosion or leakage of toxic gas at factories in order to not only protect the workers and neighbors but also prevent economic losses and environmental pollution. Though it is well known that accident probability is very low in NPP(Nuclear Power Plants), the reason why many researches are still being performed about the accidents is the results may be so severe. HRA is the main process to make preparation for possibility of human error in designing of the NPP. But those techniques have some problems and limitation as follows; the evaluation sensitivity of those techniques are out of date. And the evaluation of human error is not coupled with the design process. Additionally, the scope of the human error which has to be included in reliability assessment should be expanded. This work focuses on the coincidence of human error and mechanical failure for some important performance shaping factors to propose a method for improving safety effectively of the process industries. In order to apply in these purposes into the thesis, I found 63 critical Performance Shaping Factors of the eight dimensions throughout studies that I executed earlier. In this study, various analysis of opinion of specialists(Personal Factors, Training, Knowledge or Experience, Procedures and Documentation, Information, Communications, HMI, Workplace Design, Quality of Environment, Team Factors) and the guideline for construction of PSF were accomplished. The selected method was AHP which simplifies objective conclusions by maintaining consistency. This research focused on the implementation process of PSF to evaluate the process of PSF at each phase. As a result, we propose an evaluation model of PSF as a tool to find critical problem at each phase and improve on how to resolve the problems found at each phase. This evaluation model makes it possible to extraction of PSF succesfully by presenting the basis of assessment which will be used by enterprises to minimize the trial and error of construction process of PSF.

This research is mainly aimed at finding out about the effects of the safety and health management system on corporate performance through systematic operation by efficiently allocating material and human resources within the company by participating all employees and stakeholders in order to prevent and maintain industrial accidents and the optimal working environment, and how to maintain and activate the safety and health management system at the center of electric contractors.The analysis results are as follows. First, management, organizational management and resource preparation will have a positive impact on the management capability of the electric power corporation. It was assessed that the more well-transmitted and understood within the organization, the better the construction plan, the better the equipment management status, the more positively the management capability of electric works was to be achieved. Second, management, organizational management and resource preparation will have a positive impact on corporate management performance.This seems to have a positive effect on a company's business performance when the standards of OHSAS are met with construction plan and construction equipment management are high as related information such as industrial safety and health laws are strengthened and companies' safety and health activities, advanced safety and culture are released to facilitate organizational management.Third, the management ability of the electric power corporation will have a mediated effect on the effect of management, organization management and resource preparation on the performance of the enterprise. This means that the direct effect of the independent variable management organization on corporate management performance is .401 The indirect effect is .168.658 shows that the direct effect of resource preparation on corporate management performance is .423, the indirect effect is .178 and the total effect.It was analyzed at 643.

The purpose of this study is to identify the difference of emergency care conditions where the nurse is posted in the 119 relief squard or not. The data composed a total of 777 cases of emergency activity of one police stand in Seoul during March, June. September and December in 1998. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The age of the subjects was 20-60 age 54.3%, over 60 age 35.4% with an average age of 50.2. Among them men were 55.0%, the unemployed were 60.8%. The place of the occurrence of an accident was the house, 49.7% and the cause as illness was 59.6%. 2. The main symtom was pain the 36.2% the main consciousness state was alert 76.9%: The state of the patients as chronic was 59.6%. 3. The consulting hospital of the 119 relief squad as a third medical center was 79.9%. The distance to the medical center as less than 5 km was 77.2%, and an average transfer distance was 5.38 km. The cases of doctor guided emergency care was 0.9%, the cases that had posted nurses in 119 relief squads was 48.6%. 4. The case of the best emergency care operation was difficulty in breathing, 62.1% and the second was unconsciousness, 46.1 %. The more serious the consciousness state, the higher the rate of emergency care operation. There wasn't any difference in emergency care operation concerning transfer distance. 5. The cases that had the posted nurses was 19.1%, the cases of no nurse was 11.7% among the cases of emergency care operation during transfering; the cases that had posted nurses had the higher emergency care operation. (p<0.05). Airway maintenance was 14.8% in cases that had the posted nurses, while in the cases of no nurse, 10.9%; and oxygen inspiration was 16.0% in cases that had the posted nurses while in the cases of no nurse 7.6% (p<0.01); spinal fixation was 6.6% in cases that had the posted nurses while in the cases of no nurse 4.6%(p<0.05). With these results, we can conclude that the cases that had the posted nurse showed higher emergency care operation.

Flight data recorder is a equipment that records data required for investigation of aircraft accidents and should be developed in compliance with the ED-112A standard. Unlike general data storage device, flight data recorder must be able to recover data after an aircraft accident, requiring a housing and a memory board to protect data in extreme environments. To attain this performance, we designed a housing that can withstand the test by analyzing the physical environment of the impact, shear/tensile, penetration resistance and static crush test of the crash survival test and minimized the size and weight compared to the existing one in consideration of the installation of the aircraft in this paper. Insulation material and thermal block material were applied to endure high and low temperature fire so that the internal temperature does not rise above 150℃ even in 260℃, 10 hour environment. In addition, the memory board is designed to minimize the size and we devise a hoping programming method to prevent continuous data loss of more than 16 seconds. Through this, Crash protected memory module that satisfies ED-112A was completed.
As a result of a survey on households using gas, gas safety accidents have been declining linearly in 2006. However, when analyzing the causes of gas accidents, accidents detail caused by carelessness have increased to 62%It is analyzed that urgent measures are needed. In addition, 7 households per 10 households perceive city gas as safe, but 30% of them recognize that gas safety accidents are likely to occur in their homes in the future. Even though city gas use is relatively safe,It is recognized that there is a risk. Although the perception of the gas safety of the city gas consumers is not related to the age and gender income level, it is analyzed that it is highly educated and experienced direct or indirect gas safety accident, the perception of safety was relatively low. In order to reduce gas safety accidents, the installation of gas safety equipment for elderly households should be continuously supplied. As a result of investigating the disposal costs in case of various disasters, 66% of the insurance costs were found to be highly dependent on insurance. In addition, to reduce gas safety accidents, the installation of gas safety devices for elderly households should be continuously implemented.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses have been supplied since the year 2000 in order to resolve severe atmospheric pollution in metropolitan area and contributed on the improvement of urban atmospheric environment. However, it is indispensible to take an adequate measure to guarantee the safety of CNG vehicles because of the possibility of huge fire accident. A receptacle, connecting device between high pressure fuel supply tank and fuel line, plays an important role in CNG supply system. In recent, leakage of CNG from receptacles has been reported. So, the concern about the security and reliability of receptacles has been arisen. Therefore, a lot of efforts to prevent leakage are invested among researchers and the durability of this component should be guaranteed despite repeated operation. This research has performed durability tests of a CNG receptacle regarding the repeated usage, extreme chattering, and continuous full flow test. Although a receptacle used for CNG vehicle satisfies validation requirements in the test results, it has been found that failure in the function of leakage prevention in a receptacle could take place in the case of prolonged exposure to high supply pressure in common quick charging environment on site.

Worldwide casualties caused by earthquakes, floods, fire or other disaster has been increasing. So many researchers are being actively done technical studies to ensure golden-time. In this paper if a disaster occurs, use the IoT technologies in order to secure golden-time and transmits the message after to find the user of the accident area first. When the previous job is finished, gradually finds a user of the surrounding area and transmits the message. For national emergency information, OPEN API of Korea Meteorological Administration was used. To collect detailed information on a relevant area in real time, this study established the system that connects and integrates Crowd Sensing technology with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Beacon technology. Up to now, the CBS based on base station has been applied. However, this study designed and mapped DB in the integration of Beacon based user positioning and national administrative address system in order to estimate local users. In this experiment, the accuracy and speed of information dif6fusion algorithm were measured with a rise in the number of users. The experiments were conducted in a manner that increases the number of users by one thousand and was measured the accuracy and speed of the message spread transfer algorithm. Finally, became operational in less than one second in 20,000 users, it was confirmed that the notification message is sent.
In this study, the on-site location identification and response system was proposed by accurately checking the location information of rescue requesters in the buildings using the smartphone Wi-Fi AP. The location server was requested to measure the strength of the Wi-Fi AP at least 25 times at 8 different building location points. And the accuracy of the position and the error range were checked by analyzing the coordinate values of the received positions. In addition, the response time was measured by changing the conditions of location information in three groups to compare the response time for saving lives with and without location information. The minimum and maximum error values for the eight cases were found to be at least 4.137 m and up to 14.037 m, respectively, with an average error of 9.525 m. Compared to the base transceiver station (BTS) based position error value of 263m, the range could be reduced by up to 93%. When the location information was given, it took 10 minutes and 50 seconds to save lives; however, when there was no location information at all, rescue process took more than 45 minutes. From this research effort, it was analyzed that the acquisition of the location information of rescuees in the building using the smartphone Wi-Fi AP approach is effective in reducing the life-saving time for on-site responses.

An unexpected event could be easily followed by a large secondary accident due to the limitation in sight of drivers in road tunnels. Therefore, a series of automated incident detection systems have been under operation, which, however, appear in very low detection rates due to very low image qualities on CCTVs in tunnels. In order to overcome that limit, deep learning based tunnel incident detection system was developed, which already showed high detection rates in November of 2017. However, since the object detection process could deal with only still images, moving direction and speed of moving vehicles could not be identified. Furthermore it was hard to detect stopping and reverse the status of moving vehicles. Therefore, apart from the object detection, an object tracking method has been introduced and combined with the detection algorithm to track the moving vehicles. Also, stopping-reverse discrimination algorithm was proposed, thereby implementing into the combined incident detection processes. Each performance on detection of stopping, reverse driving and fire incident state were evaluated with showing 100% detection rate. But the detection for 'person' object appears relatively low success rate to 78.5%. Nevertheless, it is believed that the enlarged richness of image big-data could dramatically enhance the detection capacity of the automatic incident detection system.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum and the 2015 Revised Curriculum for the comparative analysis of disaster safety education contents in the national level curriculum. The main results of this study are as follows: First, the content of disaster safety education for preschoolers in the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum was clarified as 'Knowing how to react in case of accident, fire, disaster, abuse, kidnap etc.' in 'Living safety' category of physical exercise and health sections. Second, in the 2015 Revised Curriculum, disaster safety education contents for elementary school students were found to have the difference between school year in same elementary school curriculum. For first and second graders, 'Disaster safety' was cleary presented in one of major categories of 'Living safety', which was newly created at the creative activity in the Revised 2015 Curriculum. On the other hand, for third to sixth graders, safety education is dispersed in the related subjects such as physical education, science, practical courses or in the creativity activity. Third, the safety contents in the Revised 2015 Curriculum for middle school and high school were also found to be dispersed in social studies, physical education, science, technology-home economics and creativity activity. The results of this study showed that the contents of disaster safety education in the national curriculum did not have continuity and systemicity from kindergarten to high school. Therefore, efforts should be made to ensure continuity and systemicity of disaster safety education contents when the national curriculum is revised in the future.
