트랩필터를 갖는 NPC멀티레벨 인버터의 LCR필터 차단주파수 설정에 따른 출력특성 분석 (The Output Characteristics Analysis by Cut-off Frequency Set-up of the LCR Filter on NPC Multi-Level Inverter with Trap-Filter)

  • This paper presents the output filter design and the output characteristic analysis by cut-off frequency set up of the LCR filter on NPC multi-level inverter with trap-filter. The single-phase NPC three-level inverter operates at low switching frequency. The proposed LC trap filter is comprised of a conventional LCR output filter, by using LC trap filter the need for high damping resistor and low LC cut-off frequency is eliminated. Also. low damping resistor is increased the output filter system. The multilevel inverter system used NPC type inverter in proper system for high power application and controller is used DSP(TMS320C31). The effectiveness of proposed system confirmed the validity through SPICE simulation and experimental results.

  • This paper presents a method about the efficiency analysis and the harmonic reduction of single phase NPC multi-level inverter with LC-trap filter and LCR output filter. The proposed LC-trap filter is comprised of a conventional LC output filter, by using LC-trap filter the need for high damping resistor and low LC cut-off frequency is eliminated. Also, low damping resistor is increased the efficiency of the output filter. Experimental verification of the proposed circuit is provided with single phase NPC multilevel inverter system and DSP controller.

  • The exhaust emissions from diesel vehicle are known to be harmful to human health and environment. Recently, one of the most environment problems is particulate matter. In this study, through the actual exper iment and heat transfer of exhaust pipe in light duty diesel engine equipped with the ceramic filter trap of throttling type, following results are obtained. 1. In case of light duty diesel engine equipped with ceramic filter trap of throttling type, Power and torque of engine were decreased about 5%, compared with the case without trap system. It means that was not so much effect on base engine performance.2. If the length of exhaust pipe when equipping with ceramic filter trap is suitably controlled, the range of regeneration will be expand much more.3. Particulate matter reduction efficiency of ceramic filter trap system was about 70%-80%, so it was proved a good system to reduce particulate matter.In experiment, test was conducted to estimate engine emission in 2,476cc light duty diesel engine which was equipped with ceramic filter trap.

CI기관에서 세라믹 모노리스 필터의 열재생에 관한 수학적 해석 (Mathematical analysis on thermal regeneration of ceramic monolith filter in diesel engine)

  • This study describes a theoretical analysis for the wall temperature of ceramic filter trap and pressures of inlet and outlet channel in the filter trap. In this study, the maximum wall temperature through filter trap length with time during the regeneration period showed a tendency moving from forward to backward. The pressure change of filter trap increased at the initial combustion but decreased with the combustion to be activated. So the pressure difference between initial and end regeneration at the inlet channel showed about 2kPa. The thermal regeneration period of this filter trap in the theoretical analysis showed about 200seconds in which the wall temperature was similar to the case of initial condition and the pressure showed about 1 kPa.

  • 본 논문에서는 단상 NPC 멀티레벨 인버터의 출력단 고조파 저감을 위한 LC 트랩 필터의 설계 방법을 제시하였고, 출력전압 THD와 출력전류 고조파 FFT 분석을 수행하였다. 제시된 LC 트랩 필터는 일반적인 LCR 필터와 종속 접속된 구조를 가지며, 스위칭 주파수에 동조되었다. 인버터 시스템은 고전력 응용에 적합한 NPC 멀티레벨 인버터를 사용하였으며, 제어기는 DSP(TMS320C31)을 사용하여 구성하였다. 제안된 시스템의 효용성은 시뮬레이션과 실험 결과를 통하여 증명하였다.

  • This study is a theoretical analysis and experimental effect of oxygen concentration, exhaust velocity and trap inlet temperature on particulate ignition temperature with installation of ceramic filter trap in diesel engine. So the following results are obtained. 1, Based on the fundamental experiments of the regeneration process, the analytical model was developed and the results from the analytical model agreed with the experiments, then the validity of the model was proved. 2, The ignition temperature for accumulated particulate was proportional to the exhaust velocity and it was known that the optimum exhaust velocity was about 15m/sec. 3, The ignition temperature for accumulated particulate was inversely proportional to the oxygen concentration and the trap inlet temperature, and a minimum oxygen concentration of 5% was required to sustain regeneration. 4, This experimental filter trap(EX-66) is found about 30% of smoke reduction efficiency in comparison with existing muffler.

  • Work on the reduction of particulate matter(PM) from a diesel vehicl has led to a new trp system and a control method to control the combustion rate of the PM filtrated in the trap, which was named as 'Active Exhaust Feeding Regeneration(AEFR) System' by its operation mechanism. Ceramic cordierite filter is a major component of the trap and susceptible to thermal shock. Therefore the system should be designed to reduce the peak temperature and temperature gradients in the trap ; these have been considered to be the main factors causing thermal shock of the filter during the regeneration. It uses the engine's exhaust gas partially for the regeneration of the ceramic filter. It controlled bypass flow rate of the engine's exhaust gas precisely to control the temperature of the gas entrained into the filter. Gas temperatures were measured inside filter, and the oxygen concentration at the outlet of the filter was also monitored during the regeneration to analyze the combustion process of the PM. The temperature distributions and temperature gradients in the filter during the regeneration varied widely according to the regeneration control schemes. Finally, this system shows relatively low peak temperature and temperature gradients in the filter during its regeneration. It is considered that this system uses a mew method to control the combustion rate of the PM, which is different from the methods used in the previous studies.

  • 난배양성 미생물의 배양과 보다 다양한 미생물의 분리를 위하여 Filter plate microbial trap (FPMT)을 개발하였고, 이 장치를 사용하여 Greenland의 토양에서 세균을 분리하였다. FPMT는 배지와 하단부의 membrane filter(0.45 ${\mu}m$ pore size)로 구성되어 있다. 시료에 포함된 세균과 화학물질이 FPMT 내로 이동하고, 세균이 증식하는 원리이다. 그 결과, FPMT를 이용한 새로운 in situ 배양방법을 통해 통상적인 Petri dish 배양방법보다 더 많은 종과 기존의 방법으로는 배양할 수 없는 세균을 분리하였다. 이 장치는 앞으로 다양한 환경에서 난배양성 미생물을 분리하는데 유용함을 확인하였다.

  • We designed and developed the burner which would be adapted on the burner type diesel particulate trap system. The burner type particulate trap system consists of burner system to regenerate to ceramic filter, ceramic filter canister, system controller and etc. Many design factors which affect the performance of the burner system were discussed. We also investigated burner characteristics according to the operating parameters. Burned gas temperature could be controlled better by the 2nd air flow rate than the 1st one. As the space velocity increases, the axial and radial temperature gradients in the filter decreases.

  • A mathematical model for wall-flow monolith ceramic diesel particulate filter was developed in order to describe the processes which take place in the filter during regeneration. The major output of the model comprises ceramic wall temperature and regeneration time(soot reduction). Various numerical tests were performed to demonstrate how the gas oxygen concentration, flow rate and the initial particulate trap loading affect the regeneration time and peak trap temperature. The model is shown to b in reasonable agreement with the published experimental results. This model can be applied to predict the thermal shock failure due to high temperature during combustion regeneration process.
