As background significantly affects measurement accuracy and a detection limit in determination of the trace amounts of uranium, it is necessary to determine the impurities in the Lexan detector film for single particle measurements by thermal ionization mass spectrometry coupled with fission track technique (FT-TIMS). We have prepared various micro sizes of the blank Lexan detector film using a micromanipulation technique for uranium measurements by TIMS. Few tens of fg of uranium background with no remarkable dependency on the film sizes were observed in the blank Lexan films with the sizes from $50{\times}50\;{\mu}m^2$ to $300{\times}300\;{\mu}m^2$. Based on the determination of the uranium background in the Lexan film, any background correction is necessary in the isotopic analysis of a uranium single particle with micron sizes when the particle bearing Lexan film is dissected with less than $300{\times}300\;{\mu}m^2$ size. The isotopic analysis of a uranium particle in U030 standard material using TIMS was carried out to verify the applicability of the Lexan film to the single particle analysis with high accuracy and precision.

This study investigated the colors of the costumes and backgrounds of characters in the films "Thirst" and "Mother" from an integrated perspective. As a study method, ten scenes per film, which contained the characters and backgrounds from the start to the end of the DVDs of "Thirst" and "Mother" were examined. For integrated color analysis of the costumes and backgrounds, the colors of the captured scenes were simplified to extract representative colors, and then color palettes were presented according to the ratio of area. The colors of costumes were analyzed by recognition through the eyes based on the I.R.I. Hue and Tone 120. Furthermore, the color images of the two films were analyzed using the I.R.I. adjective image scales and the I.R.I. color image scales. The colors of the film "Thirst" were generally low in brightness and high in chroma. They are characterized by dark, gloomy toned-down background in the first half, highly chromatic vivid background in the second half, and the contrast of purple blue colors and red colors. The colors of the film "Mother" are characterized by complementary colors between background and costume colors, and various tones of blue and green colors. From the aspect of color tones, they were relatively high in brightness compared to the film "Thirst" but low in chroma. On the I.R.I. adjective image scale, contrasting adjectives were extracted simultaneously from the film "Thirst" as the adjectives were evenly distributed at hard, dynamic and static, whereas the adjectives extracted from the film "Mother" were distributed at hard and statistic. On the I.R.I. color image scale, both films were located at hard, but the film "Thirst" was located at dynamic whereas the film "Mother" was located at static.

영화의 형식은 감독의 의도를 가장 감각적이고 직접적으로 확인할 수 있는 요소다. 영화의 배경이 주요한 구경거리가 되면서 현대영화는 가히 와이드 스크린 형식이 아닌 것이 드물 정도이며, 극장과 관객들은 1.85:1이상의 대형화면비율에 익숙해져 있다. 2015년 제작된 영화 <사울의 아들(원제)>은 이런 흐름에 걸맞지 않게 좁은 화면비, 깊지 않은 시야심도 등을 선택한 영화다. 나치의 홀로코스트 수용소를 배경으로 한 이 영화는 영화의 형식을 통해 결국 관객을 주인공의 시점 밖으로 나가지 못하도록 막은 영화이다. 그리고 종국에는 관객을 주인공 사울의 입장으로 만드는 영화이다. 본 논문에서는 <사울의 아들>의 형식적 스타일을 통해 감독 라즐로 네메즈가 어떻게 연출의도를 반영하였는지 연구한다.

본 논문은 2차원 연속 웨이블릿을 이용하여 조명에 의한 불균일한 휘도성분을 제거하여 TFT Display 핵심 부품인 편광필름 영상내의 결함을 검사 할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 영상 신호는 불균일한 휘도 분포와 노이즈 신호, 그리고 결함 신호로 구성되어 있다. 영상의 2차원 웨이블릿 변환은 스케일이 다른 여러 성분이 중첩된 다해상도 구조를 형성한다. 본 논문에서는 1차원 미분 가우시안 웨이블릿을 적용하여 영상에 중첩되어 있는 다해상도 성분 중 배경 휘도 성분을 효율적으로 추출하여 제거하는 전처리 기법을 제안한다. 이를 이용하여 원 영상에서 배경 성분을 분리할 수 있어 보다 신뢰성 있게 결함을 검출할 수 있다.

In 2013, Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film was granted to Walt Disney's short animation, (2012). With various aspects of its excellence, I focus on the very effective use of digital lightings and underscores for storytelling as its success factors. In this respect, this paper aims at analyzing the roles of the visual factors, especially tone, contrast, etc. created by lightings, and audio factors, especially underscores, in the film's story development. I find that can be characterized by the well-built story structure with distinct three acts. The main stream of the story is expressed with the overall mood that is created by the fine adjustments of brightness of the main light, and contrast. And the direction and the intensity of the lighting successfully describe the emotions of the characters in each scene. In addition, I find that properly chosen and positioned underscores make the development of the story more dynamic and more harmonized.

This paper proposes a new method for image composition which estimates the rotation angle of human hand and uses the reserved image in real-time camera images. First, we capture a background image and extract a interesting region by background subtraction. Next, we estimate the skin region from the interesting region and calculate the rotation angle of estimated skin region using PCA(Principal Components Analysis). Finally, we composite the reserved image for the calculated rotation angle in camera images. The proposed method can be applied to control the 3D avatar for marker-less augmented reality.

본 연구는 중국역사영화 '영웅'의 소재로 활용된 건물배경에 대한 관객의 감성 고찰을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 감성과 관련된 선행 연구를 통해 건물배경에 적합한 감성어휘를 도출하고 이를 설문형태로 감성을 분석하였다. 연구결과 영화의 건물 배경이 관객에게 감성적인 영향을 줄 수 있으며 중국 전통양식과 문화를 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것이다.

목적: 광과민성 증후군자를 위한 가상 색 오버레이, 필름 오버레이, 색 렌즈나 색안경의 기초 설계. 방법: 필름오버레이 3종류에 대한 광학적 특성 측정을 통한 sRGB, RGB 값 도출. 백색종이, IT기기 백색화면 적용시와 투과모드시의 색도 관계 분석 결과: 구현 가능한 sRGB와 RGB값을 얻었다. 백색종이나 IT기기의 백색화면을 배경으로 얻은 색도와 필름 자체의 색도는 달랐으나, 일정한 관계 패턴을 보였다. 광투과율은 Intuitive Overlays가 단일 색에서 59%-79%로 가장 높았고, 광반사율은 Reading Ruler가 평균 8%로 가장 낮았다. 결론: 측정된 데이터를 보정하여 계산된 sRGB와 RGB값은 실제 보조도구를 구현하는데 직접 사용할 수 있다. 광투과율은 IT기기의 가상 오버레이의 투명도인 ${\alpha}$값을 산출하는데 사용될 수 있다. IT기기에서는 디스플레이 장치의 백색 화면과 이론적 백색의 색도 차이가 너무 크면 가상 색 오버레이 구현에서 기기의 백색 특성을 고려할 필요가 있다.

본 논문은 시점이 변화하는 동적 비디오에서 파노라마 배경을 생성하고 객체 추적을 가능하게 하는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 보다 구체적으로, 카메라로 입력되는 인접한 두 영상에서 추출된 특징점으로 부터 영상간의 관계를 유도하며, 이를 이용한 실린더 투영, 영상의 재정렬, 그리고 겹침 지역의 일그러짐을 최소화 하기 위한 스티칭(stitching) 및 블렌딩(blending)을 수행한다. 이 과정에 의해서 생성 된 배경을 기준으로 현재 입력 영상과 차분을 계산하여 객체 추적을 수행했다. 제안된 방법은 배경생성이 완료된 이후부터는 객체의 감시만을 수행하므로 실시간으로 넓은 영역의 감시가 가능하며, 이를 통한 지속적인 객체의 추적이 가능하다. 따라서 향후 공공장소 등과 같이 넓은 영역에서의 감시, 추적에 이용할 수 있다.
