필름 인서트 열성형 시 필름 두께분포 예측 (Prediction of the Film Thickness Variation through Film Insert Thermoforming)

  • Film insert melding is one of the surface processes that enhances functional or aesthetic qualities of an existing product's surface. In general, film insert molding consists of three processes including thermoforming, trimming and injection molding. Thermoforming, which is the first process of film insert molding, is the most important process because the variation of film thickness has an effect on the mold design and process conditions for the subsequent processes, that are, trimming and injection molding. This study is focused on predicting the film thickness distribution through film insert thermoforming process using commercial FEM code. In order to describe rheological behavior of thermoplastic film (ABS), G'Sell's viscoelastic constitutive law was adopted. The numerical model of film insert thermoforming was established, and the simulation to predict film thickness distribution was performed. Comparison between the results of simulation and experiment was made to validate the proposed finite element analysis.

국내 대학의 영화 및 영화 관련학과 교과과정 효율화를 위한 연구 (A Study on Effective Adjustment of the Curriculum in Film and Film Related Major in Korean Colleges)

  • 국내 대학에서 영화 및 영상 관련학과가 개설된 지는 50년이 되었지만 초창기의 10여개의 대학을 제외하고는 대부분 90년대 이후에 대거 신설되었다. 이들은 그동안 영화가 발전하는 것을 좇아서 학과내의 커리큘럼을 수정해왔지만 영화라는 매체의 특성상 발 빠른 산업계를 학교가 따라가기에는 여러 가지 어려운 점이 있었다. 특히 90년대 이후에는 영화계에 디지털이 도입되면서 하루가 다르게 제작 양상이 변했고 때맞추어 대기업의 자본과 통신과의 결합, 멀티플렉스를 이용한 와이드 릴리즈 개봉 방식 등의 영화 산업계 전반에 닥친 혁명적 변화로 학교에서 양산한 영화 전문 인력은 현장에 그대로 투입되기에는 맞지 않는 부분이 많아지게 되었다. 영화 제작 현장과 대학 간의 괴리감은 시간이 흐를수록 심해지고 있고 현장은 별다른 검증 없이 투입된 신규 인력을 재교육 시켜야만 했다. 대학의 교과과정을 조정하여 현장 적응력을 높이는 방안을 강구해야 한다. 국내 대학 영화 및 영상 관련학과 선도 격인 학교들의 교과과정을 살펴보고 90년대 이후에 신설된 전국의 영화 및 영상 관련학과들이 경쟁력과 차별성을 갖기 위해서는 어떤 노력이 필요한지 알아본다. 전국에 산재한 영상 관련학과는 교과과정에서 만큼은 차별성이 없다. 해외 대학의 경우 영화 연출가나 촬영 감독 등 특정 직업군의 인력을 양산하기보다 다양한 영화 직종의 구체적인 소개와 실습을 통하여 필름메이커로 성장하도록 교과과정의 편성이 이루어져있다. 학생들이 곧바로 영화 전공과목에 접하기 보다는 먼저 인문학과 교양 과목 이수하도록 하여 창작에 필요한 기본기를 다지는 시간을 강조하는 학교들도 있다. 영화이론, 영화 및 영상 제작, 영화 (매체) 연기 등 크게 세부분으로 나누어져 있는 대부분의 국내 대학 영화 및 영상전공 세부 과정은 각급 대학의 특성을 고려하여 확장 가능한 범위내에서 독창적이고 경쟁력 있는 세부 전공 과정을 개발하여야 영상 관련 대학경쟁에서 우위에 설 수 있고 이는 곧바로 대한민국 영화의 경쟁력으로 이어질 것이다. 영화 전공 교과목을 나열하여 특정 분야에 치중해 있는 과정은 통합하여 수를 줄이고 구색 맞추기 정도의 프로덕션 디자인, 사운드, 편집, 특수 영상, 마케팅과 홍보, 컴퓨터 그래픽등의 분야는 입문 과정과 심화 과정을 별도로 운영하여 균형을 이루게 해야 할 것이다. 모든 영화 학교에서 제안한 모든 과정을 개설하기 보다는 특정 분야를 정하여 교육과정을 개발하고 현장 경력 유경험자의 교수진을 운영한다면 지금보다 나아진 다채롭고 창의적인 영화 인력을 길러낼 수 있을 것이다.

마그네트론 스파터시 금속 극박막의 실시간 전기저항과 미세구조 변화 (In-Situ Electrical Resistance and Microstructure for Ultra-Thin Metal Film Coated by Magnetron Sputtering)

  • Ultra-thin aluminum (Al) and tin (Sn) films were grown by dc magnetron sputtering on a glass substrate. The electrical resistance R of films was measured in-situ method during the film growth. Also transmission electron microscopy (TEM) study was carried out to observe the microstructure of the films. In the ultra-thin film study, an exact determination of a coalescence thickness and a continuous film thickness is very important. Therefore, we tried to measure the minimum thickness for continuous film (dmin) by means of a graphical method using a number of different y-values as a function of film thickness. The raw date obtained in this study provides a graph of in-situ resistance of metal film as a function of film thickness. For the Al film, there occurs a maximum value in a graph of in-situ electrical resistance versus film thickness. Using the results in this study, we could define clearly the minimum thickness for continuous film where the position of minimum values in the graph when we put the value of Rd3 to y-axis and the film thickness to x-axis. The measured values for the minimum thickness for continuous film are 21 nm and 16 nm for sputtered Al and Sn films, respectively. The new method for defining the minimum thickness for continuous film in this study can be utilized in a basic data when we design an ultra-thin film for the metallization application in nano-scale devices.

영화발전기금의 현황과 재원조성 방안 (Current Status of the Film Development Fund and Plan for Securing Finances)

  • 영화발전기금은 2007년에 영화예술의 질적 향상과 한국영화 및 비디오물산업의 진흥과 발전을 위하여 설치되었다. 영화진흥위원회가 운용하는 핵심자원으로써 한국영화 창작 제작 진흥 관련 지원, 영상전문투자조합 출자, 한국영화의 수출 및 국제교류 지원, 소형영화와 단편영화의 제작지원 등 다양한 지원 사업을 한다. 본 연구는 고갈 위기에 있는 영화발전기금의 재원 조성 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 영화발전기금의 실태와 문제점을 살펴보고 문헌연구와 관련 논의들을 검토했다. 영화진흥을 위한 해외 유사기관인 프랑스 국립영화/동영상센터, CNC(Centre National du $Cin{\acute{e}}ma$ et de l'image $anim{\acute{e}}e$), 영국 영국영화협회 BFI(British Film Institute)의 정책과 기금의 재원 확보 및 운용을 비교 검토함으로써 영화발전기금의 재원 확충을 위한 다각적 방안을 도출하였다.

Antimicrobial (BN/PE) Film Combined with Modified Atmosphere Packaging Extends the Shelf Life of Minimally Processed Fresh-Cut Iceberg Lettuce

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) in combination with BN/PE film on the shelf life and quality of fresh-cut iceberg lettuce during cold storage. The total mesophilic population in the sample packed in BN/PE film under MAP conditions was dramatically reduced in comparison with that of PE film, PE film under MAP conditions, and BN/PE film. The $O_2$ concentration in the BN/PE film under MAP conditions decreased slightly as the storage period progressed. The coloration of the iceberg lettuce progressed the slowest when it was packaged in BN/PE film under MAP conditions, followed by BN/PE film, PE film, and PE film under MAP conditions. The shelf life of fresh-cut iceberg lettuce packaged in the BN/PE film under MAP conditions was extended by more than 2 days at $10^{\circ}C$ as compared with that of the BN/PE film in which the extension effect was more than 2 days longer than that of PE, PET, and OPP films.

다양한 막냉각 홀 형상에 대한 막냉각 효율의 수치해석 (NUMERICAL STUDY ON FILM-COOLING EFFECTIVENESS FOR VARIOUS FILM-COOLING HOLE SCHEMES)

  • In order to protect the turbine blade from working fluid of high temperature, many cooling techniques such as internal convection cooling, film cooling, impinging jet cooling and thermal barrier coating have been developed. With all other things, film-cooling has been widely used as the important alternative. In the present work, numerical analysis has been performed to investigate and to compare the film-cooling performance of various film-cooling hole schemes such as cylindrical, crescent, louver, and dumbbell holes. To analyze the turbulent flow and the film-cooling mechanism, three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes analysis has been performed with shear stress transport turbulence model. The validation of numerical results has been assessed in comparison with experimental data. The characteristics of fluid flow and the film-cooling performance for each shaped hole have been investigated and evaluated in terms of centerline, laterally averaged and spatially averaged film-cooling effectivenesses. Among the film cooling holes, the dumbbell shaped hole shows better film-cooling effectiveness than the other shaped holes. And the louver and cylindrical shaped hole show the worst film cooling performance, and concentrated flows on near the centerline only.

패션 필름 유형에 따른 스토리텔링 특징 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Storytelling by Fashion Film Categorization)

  • Fashion film has become a significant communication medium in the $21^{st}$ century. Fashion film, that tells unique quality stories, is a means of communicating brand value emotionally. To examine characteristics of storytelling according to types of fashion film, this study categorizes fashion film and investigates storytelling elements in terms of content, form, and communication. For methodology, a literature review was conducted to examine the concept of storytelling and types of fashion film storytelling. Empirical research was conducted on 32 fashion films from 2007 to recent years of 2017. Results are as follow. First, theatrical fashion film, based on linear narrative structure and closed-ending, is characterized content-based storytelling. Second, avant-garde fashion film, based on unconventional and experimental cinematic techniques, is characterized form-based storytelling. Finally, documentary fashion film that minimizes distortion and reproduces reality of designers' originality, refers to interactive communication-based storytelling which using digital technologies.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare & to find out the variability of head film measurements (and marks identification) between Fuji computed radiographic cephalometry and conventional cephalometry. 28 Korean adults were selected. Lateral cephalometric FCR film and conventional cephalometric film of each subject was taken. Four investigators identified 24 cephalometric landmarks on lateral cephalometric FCR film and conventional cephalometric film. The comparable measurements between lateral cephalometric FCR film and conventional cephalometric film were statistically analysed. The results were as follows : 1. In FCR film & conventional film, coefficient of variation (C.V.) of 24 landmarks was taken horizonta1ly & vertically. There is no significant difference of rank order of landmarks in C.V. between two films. 2. In comparison of significant differences of landmarks variability between FCR film & conventional film, horizontal value of coefficient of variation, showed significant differences in four landmarks among twenty-four landmarks, but vertical value of coefficient of variation showed significant differences in sixteen landmarks among twenty-four landmarks. FCR film showed significantly less variability than conventional film in 17 subjects among 20(4+16) subjects that showed significant difference.

Development and Application of a New Spray Impingement Model Considering Film Formation in a Diesel Engine

  • The present article presents an extension to the computational model for spray/wall interaction and liquid film processes that has been dealt with in the earlier studies (Lee and Ryou, 2000a). The extensions incorporate film spread due to impingement forces and dynamic motion induced by film inertia to predict the dynamic characteristics of wall films effectively. The film model includes the impingement pressure of droplets, tangential momentum transfer due to the impinging droplets on the film surface and the gas shear force at the film surface. Validation of the spray/wall interaction model and the film model was carried out for non-evaporative diesel sprays against several sources of experimental data. The computational model for spray/wall interactions was in good agreement with experimental data for both spray radius and height. The film model in the present work was better than the previous static film model, indicating that the dynamic effects of film motion should be considered for wall films. On the overall the present film model was acceptable for predication of the film radius and thickness.

영화에서의 공간에 관한 연구 - 히치콕의 영화를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Space of Film - Focused on Hitchcock's Film -)

  • In the 1970s and 1980s, space installations in films became a new approach to film research. Many film directors and theoretical scholars believe that the space setting in films, other than textual stories, is an important core of film narrative research. Early film scholars have proposed that the film space with sensory narrative mode as the core motive force can promote people's in-depth understanding of the film content. Therefore, many researchers have tried to emphasize the importance of space in films through Hitchcock's films, but have not analyzed the elements and techniques of film space performance in detail. Reviewing the Hitchcock's classic crime film, through the space set in the traditional film, we can discover the movie techniques and concepts related to space. Therefore, this study takes Hitchcock's classic crime film as an example, and through analysis of film space expression techniques, attempts to propose factors for film space creation and bring new spatial perception effects to the audience.
