The major objective of this study is to test if an Olympic Games sponsorship program can influence investors' behavior: stock returns, stock volatility and transaction volumes. The paper deals with stock market reaction on Olympic sponsorship announcement for service organizations using event study method. Our research intention is to test 440 daily stock prices and transaction volumes, in order investigate the potent influence between the announcement of a grand sport sponsorship program and investors' behavior. For this study we examined the announcement data of three grand sponsors of Olympic Games of Athens 2004 (Alpha Bank. Delta and G.T.O) The main contribution of this study is to examine how stock investors' behavior is influenced by the sponsorship program of companies and to extend research scope of marketing field toward stock market. They authors suggest that organizations interested in influencing investors' behavior should invest in sponsorship activities at the sports' sector.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and confirm the correlation between self-concept and the degree of satisfaction on field practice of EMT students. Data were collected from 66 junior college EMT students by quertionaire from August 12 to 13, 1997. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, t-test, F-test, and Person correlation using SAS program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Self-concept level revealed to be high as 3.784 of a total score 5.0. 2. Satisfaction level revealed to be low as 2.970 of a total score 5.0. Satisfaction level of teaching revealed to be high and environments revealed to be low. 3. Subject satisfaction, practice time were significant in satisfaction level on field practice. 4. Self-concept was not influenced to the degree of satisfaction on field practice.

This study is a comparative study on the tendency of power distance between administrative and field personnel in fire departments. For this study, 355 firefighters nationwide were surveyed from August 22 to December 31, 2023, and the collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 statistical program. As a result of the reliability analysis, Cronbach's =.803 was found to be higher than the standard value of 0.6. irefighting agencies are firefighting organizations that work to resolve incidents quickly and efficiently at disaster sites, and an appropriate level of power distance is essential. However, excessive power distance between superiors and subordinates leads to self-righteousness in administration and incompetence in field activities through one-sided instructions and compliance. As a result of analyzing the power distance tendencies of administrative and field workers in fire departments in this study, it was confirmed that there was no bias in either direction with an average score of 2.55. And the level of power distance tendency between administrative and field firefighters was 2.56 points, showing no significant difference.

Log scaling which decides a quality grade of log is influence the price of log at the market. It is the one of important works at the field until now. So it remains using a ruler traditionally. This study evaluated the automating program through compared the automating program with using a ruler for log. The automating program used libraries of OpenCV concerning image processing algorithm to measure log diameter for scaling. In addition, it applies two panels of checkered pattern beside a pile of logs and tapes on the surface of a log diameter to find a correct value. We analyzed statistical mean difference of both log diameter and volume. In conclusion, the automating program after applying check panel and taping ins't different using a ruler. Therefore we need to considerate about applying it for improving Forest Administration.

There has been researches for effective education. Among them, many researchers are striving to apply Zone of Proximal Development of Vygotsky which is emphasizing the social interaction in the field of teaching and learning. Researchers usually research based on individual or small group of students. However the math class in school relies on system that one teacher teach many students in reality. So this research will look for the effect that the teaching and learning program based on Zone of Proximal Development of Vygotsky by designing the teaching and learning program which is based on scaffolding structuring to overcome the zone of proximal development in many-students class. The results of this research are as follows: First, the studying program considered the theory of Vygotsky has a positive effect on improving the mathematical achievement of elementary student. Second, the studying program considered the theory of Vygotsky has a positive effect on improving the student's studying attitude upon mathematics.

To improve maritime security and enhance international shipping commerce within US ports in addition to ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), the TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) program is working on the maritime field from the October 15, 2008 in the United States. In this paper, the program is reviewed and investigated in terms of goal, benefit, solution, and related legislation so forth In addition, other maritime security programs including MMD (Merchant Mariner Document), FAST (Free and Secure Trade), SIDA (Security Identification Display Areas). and Air Cargo security program was analyzed and compared in order to obtain relationship and difference with the program in terms of enrollment frequency, list and method of security check, and profile of each program As a result of this paper, the program is mostly to improve maritime security, protect individual privacy, and enhance commerce rather than other programs.

PURPOSES: This paper investigates behavior and performance of concrete pavement in tunnel based on temperature data from field. METHODS : In this study, there are 4 contents to evaluate concrete pavement in tunnel, First, Comparison for distress was conducted at outside, transition, and inside part of tunnel. Secondly, temperature data was collected in air and inside concrete pavement in outside and inside tunnel. Thirdly, FEM analysis was performed to evaluate stress condition, based on temperature data from field. Finally, performance prediction was done with KPRP program. RESULTS: From the distress evaluation, failure of inside tunnel was much less than it of outside tunnel, Temperature change in tunnel was less than out side, and also it was more stable. According to result of FEM analysis, both curling stress status of inside tunnel was lower than it of outside tunnel. Based on KPRP program analysis, performance of inside tunnel was longer than outside. CONCLUSIONS : Through all study about behavior and performance of concrete pavement in tunnel, condition in tunnel has more advantages from environmental and distress point of view. Therefore, performance of inside tunnel was better than outside.

The behavior of steel curved bridges is more complicated than straight bridges, thus the analysis, design and construction process of curved bridges require much more attention. In design of curved bridges, the grillage analysis using general structural analysis program or special program is mainly used. Comparative study in coherence between these analytical results and actual behavior of curved bridges has been rarely conducted. To study the behaviour of curved bridges and verify the current design method, field measurements and analyses using general structural analysis program and 3-D refined analysis program were carried out for simple and continuous bridges in this study. The study focused on the behavior of curved steel bridges during construction. Measured and analytical results had quantitative difference mutually, but there were qualitatively similar. Stress variations in transverse direction of flange were observed and grillage analysis models yielded more conservative values than 3-D refined analysis models.

Recently, colleges and universities provide programs of field experience for students to improve career development skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of participating field experience on communication ability, interpersonal relationship ability, and convergence competence. Data were collected from 1,887 college students, and were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. As a result, students who participated field experience program improved their communication ability, interpersonal relationship ability, and convergence competence. This study is expected to be utilized as basic references to promote field experience program in colleges and universities.

This study a Descriptive research to examine the relationships between Military field experience and Major satisfaction, On the focus of noncommissioned officer's department of College. The data was collected from 370 College students, April 6 to April 10, 2015. Descriptive statistics, frequency, t-test, ANOVA, scheffe test, and pearson correlation analysis were performed using SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: In critical Military field experience, there were significants differences in Security-related education, training Major selection motiveage and Hope career field after graduation. And Major satisfaction has a positive relationships between Military field experience(r=.59, P<.001). Conclusion: To enhance problem process ability for noncommissioned officer's department of College, it is necessary to develop teaching program and curriculum.
