보건교육사업 수행과 윤리문제에 관한 고찰 - 이론과 적용을 중심으로 - (A Study on Ethical Issues in Health Education Practice)

  • In the recent years, there has been a remarkable growth in the popularity of health education and health promotion. Health educators are increasingly confronting serious ethical quandars. Health educators need to be fully prepared to meet the challenges presented by these situations. The objectives of this study are as follows: 1. It explores some fundamental concepts concerning ethics, morals, and values. 2. It identifies several critical ethical issues confronting the field of health education with which individual health educators must wrestle during the course of their careers. 3. It examines the process of applying ethical principles to guide rational resolution of complex value-laden issues and moral dilemmas. 4. Collectively, these provide health educators with a basic understanding of ethics and how ethics may be used to facilitate sound decision making. This study challenges health educators to consider the ethical issues and implications associated with certain practices or advances in the field of education.

  • The Korean economic condition needs continuous development of the marine product industries basically, and for this purpose a study on the education and training system of the technical manpower for this field is required. Moreover, the sea and its resources are not only to be utilized these days but also to be conserved for our descendants. To achieve this goal, the national support and the people's understanding on the marine product industries are very important at the first, and also the fisheries education must be activated to educate and train the technical manpower who will engage in this industrial field in the future. Especially it is necessary to develop and operate the most appropriate curricula drawn up inconsideration of each local characteristics for the fisheries education at the middle schools and high schools in Korea.

대안학교 교사의 생태중심주의 환경교육에 대한 인식 조사 (Survey on the Korean Alternative School Teachers' Perception of Ecocentric Environmental Education)

  • In this study, the Korean alternative school teachers' perceptions of ecocentric environmental education were surveyed. A total of 80 teachers from 42 alternative schools across the nation answered to the survey. The results were as follows. Teachers were found to have a lot of interest in environmental issues and to practice some environmental actions inside and outside school. Over sixty percent teachers agreed with the ecocentric philosophy of environmental education. The most two important issues among 11 environmental education contents for teachers were "natural environment" and "environmental ethics". Teachers used and preferred "field work" for teaching environmental issues, and got teaching materials mostly from the internet. However, many of them were not satisfied with environmental activity in their schools because of their lack of professionalism. They had not enough experience of professional development for environmental education, and strongly wanted to learn about field work.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a manpower training program of technological development. The types of developed manpower training models are education about the technological development process, literacy education about technological development, and field experience. The education about the technological development process is accomplished through industry-university cooperation based on shared technical concerns. Literacy education about technological development includes information about essential methods for manpower education. Field experience involves the development of effective teaching plans.

  • Education is a field that has tried to make use of the advantages of computers since they were introduced to the world. Intelligent Tutoring System and multimedia have become methods of teaching students of Computer Science, Education, Psychology, and Cognitive Science. Until now, they have been designed and produced only on the basis of a very specific domain and format. However, in the education field, most learners ask for integrated service that is practical, realizable, and sensitive to technological change. Therefore, in this study, we would like to present the technological and formal integration model as an ITS model which acknowledges changes in the fields of technology and education. As a technological integration model, the integration model of traditional Symbolic Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Neural Networks was presented. As a formal integration model, three integration models were presented according to (a) the process of learning diagnosis (b) learners' action behaviors (c) intelligence service respectively.

한국의 자료조직 교육에 대한 진단과 방향 모색 (A New Direction in Korea's LIS Education: Focused on the Field of Information Organization)

  • 이 연구는 도서관에서 간접적이고 기술적인 업무로 여겨지는 '자료조직' 영역을 중심으로 우리 교육의 현실을 있는 그대로 드려내 보이기 위한 기초 작업이자 이 영역의 교육방향에 대한 심층적인 논의를 이끌어 내기 위한 발제로서의 목적을 동시에 가지고 있다. 이 연구에서는 먼저 전국의 32개 대학 문헌정보학과에 개설된 교과목 중 자료조직 교과목의 비중과 교육의 주요 내용을 파악하였다. 이어, 우리 학문의 원조가 되어 온 미국의 문헌정보학계에서 진행되어온 자료조직 영역의 교육목표와 기본방향, 그리고 내용에 대한 그간의 논의를 살펴보면서 자료조직과 관련한 우리 교육의 방향에 대해 모색해 보았다. 논의에 필요한 기초데이터는 기존의 국내외 연구는 물론이고 전국 32개 대학의 문헌정보학과의 교과과정과 강의개요 그리고 북미의 주요 문헌정보대학원의 교육목표와 내용 등을 활용하였다.

가상·증강현실을 활용한 체험안전교육의 몰입도가 현장 적용성 및 안전사고예방에 미치는 영향: 조선산업 종사자를 중심으로 (Effect of Immersion on Field Applicability and Safety Accident Prevention in Experience Safety Education Using Virtual/augmented Reality : Focusing on Shipbuilding Workers)

  • Recently, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies are attracting attention as core technologies in the era of the 4th industrial revolution. These virtual and augmented reality technologies are being used in a variety of industries, including the construction industry, healthcare industry, and manufacturing industry, to innovate in communication and collaboration, education and simulation, customer service and reinvention of the customer experience. In this paper, VR-based experiential safety education was conducted for workers of shipbuilding companies in Ulsan city, and for them, the educational effectiveness such as immersion, site applicability, safety accident prevention, education satisfaction, overall performance, and safety behavior in VR-based safety experience education were measured. In addition, we examined whether the immersion of VR-based safety experience education affects site applicability, safety accident prevention, educational satisfaction, overall performance, and safety behavior. Furthermore, it was analyzed whether site applicability plays a mediating role in the relationship between immersion and safety accident prevention. As a result, it was found that the immersion of VR-based safety experience education affects site applicability, safety accident prevention effect, education satisfaction, overall performance, and safety behavior, and that site applicability mediates between immersion and safety accident prevention. Based on these results, we suggests a direction for the development of VR-based contents in the field of safety and health and the transformation of safety and health education in the future.

인공지능 기반의 기초 데이터 과학 교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Basic Data Science Education Contents for Artificial Intelligence Capability)

  • 데이터 과학은 문제를 정의하고 수집된 데이터로부터 의미 있는 정보를 찾아내어 문제를 해결하는 과학적인 학문이다. 인공지능 기술의 도입으로 인해 데이터의 활용 분야는 점차 확장되고 있으며, 데이터 과학 교육의 중요성에 대한 인식도 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 한국 데이터 산업진흥원에서 2020년 데이터 산업 현황을 조사하여 발표한 결과에 의하면 국내 데이터 산업의 시장규모가 급성장하고 있음에 불구하고, 향후 5년 이내에 데이터 전문가의 부족률은 31.4%에 이를 것으로 예측하였다. 이러한 사회적 분위기 속에서, 초등 교육 현장에서는 학생들의 컴퓨팅 사고력과 창의력 향상을 위하여 데이터 과학 교육을 도입하고자 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 분야의 비전공자가 대다수인 현직 초등교사들의 교육을 목적으로 개발하여 현장에서 활용하고 있는 데이터 과학 강의의 콘텐츠를 제안하였다. 해당 콘텐츠는 인공지능융합대학원에 재학 중인 현직 초등교사 집단을 대상으로 적용한 후, 학습자들이 이해하기에 어려움이 있었던 내용을 세부적으로 파악하고 원인을 분석하여 개선점을 도출하였다.

스마트 교육 환경에서 의사소통교육을 위한 지능형 적응 학습에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Intelligent Adaptive Learning for Communication Education in Smart Education Environment)

  • As the world enters the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is represented by advanced technology, it not only changes the industrial field but also the education field. In recent years, Smart Learning has enriched learning by using diverse forms and technologies that utilize vast amount of information about learners' individual knowledge through the emergence of realistic and intelligent contents that combine high technology such as artificial intelligence, big data and virtual reality and there is an increasing interest in intelligent adaptive learning, which can customize individual education. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore intelligent adaptive learning method through recent smart education environment, beyond traditional writing-based communication education which is highly dependent on the competency of instructors. In this study, we analyzed the various learner information collected in the communication course and constructed a concrete teaching and learning method of intelligent adaptive learning based on the instructor's intended smart contents. The result of this study is expected to be the basis of highly personalized teaching and learning method of digital method in communication education which is emphasized in the fourth industrial revolution era.

수학교육의 변화와 인공지능과의 연관성 탐색 (A study on the relationship between artificial intelligence and change in mathematics education)

  • 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence)의 잠재력에 대한 기대로 여러 분야에서 이를 활용하고자 노력하고 있으며 교육 분야에서의 적용에 대한 관심 역시 높다. 교육에 있어서 인공지능 기술에 활용되는 기계학습(machine learning)과 딥러닝(deep learning)으로 스스로 학습하는 방법에 대한 관심을 가지게 되었으며 이러한 방식이 교육에 어떻게 활용될 수 있을 지와 인공지능을 어떻게 수학교육에 적용할 수 있을지에 대한 관심이 대두되고 있다. 이에 정보통신기술의 발달에 따른 수학교육의 변화를 고찰해 봄으로써 수학교육의 변화가 인공지능과 어떠한 연과성이 있는지를 살펴보는데 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.
