In this paper, a levitation control circuit for a magnetic levitation system supplied with a battery is designed. The control circuit consists of DSP, 4-quadrant chopper, and gap sensor as feedback sensors. Moreover the DSP includes PWM generator, A/D converter, etc. The feedback signals from gap sensors go into A/D converter of DSP to compare with reference. As a result, The design procedures of the levitation control circuit and battery power distribution system are described and basic experiment results are shown.

The self-biasing circuit through a feedback resistor is applied to a gallium nitride (GaN) distributed power amplifier (PA) monolithic microwave circuit (MMIC). The self-biasing circuit is a useful scheme for biasing depletion-mode compound semiconductor devices with a negative gate bias voltage, and is widely used for common source amplifiers. However, the self-biasing circuit is rarely used for PAs, because the large DC power dissipation of the feedback resistor results in the degradation of output power and power efficiency. In this study, the feasibility of applying a self-biasing circuit through a feedback resistor to a GaN PA MMIC is examined by using the high operation voltage of GaN high-electron mobility transistors. The measured results of the proposed GaN PA are the average output power of 41.1 dBm and the average power added efficiency of 12.2% over the 6-16 GHz band.

Model of the novel Surface motor (SFM) is briefly discussed, and two types of control method including two-order feedback circuit control, indirect acceleration feedback control are analyzed to solve unstable characteristic such as low damp and negative stiffness. The simulation results demonstrate that the system has plain amplitude and wide frequency band arranging from 0 to 8kHz with no resonant peak through indirect acceleration feedback control.
In lighting system where several large-area organic light-emitting diode (OLED) lighting panels are involved, panel aging may appear differently from each other, resulting in a falling-off in lighting quality. To achieve uniform light output across large-area OLED lighting panels, we have employed an optical feedback circuit. Light output from each OLED panel is monitored by the optical feedback circuit that consists of a photodiode, I-V converter, 10-bit analogdigital converter (ADC), and comparator. A photodiode generates current by detecting OLED light from one side of the glass substrate (i.e., edge emission). Namely, the target luminance from the emission area (bottom emission) of OLED panels is monitored by current generated from the photodiode mounted on a glass edge. To this end, we need to establish a mapping table between the ADC value and the luminance of bottom emission. The reference ADC value corresponds to the target luminance of OLED panels. If the ADC value is lower or higher than the reference one (i.e., when the luminance of OLED panel is lower or higher than its target luminance), a micro controller unit (MCU) adjusts the pulse width modulation (PWM) used for the control of the power supplied to OLED panels in such a way that the ADC value obtained from optical feedback is the same as the reference one. As such, the target luminance of each individual OLED panel is unchanged. With the optical feedback circuit included in the lighting system, we have observed only 2% difference in relative intensity of neighboring OLED panels.

In this paper, an ultra small phase locked loop (PLL) with a single capacitor loop filter has been proposed by adding a signal sensing circuit (SSC). In order to extremely reduce the size of the PLL, the passive element loop filter, which occupies the largest area, is designed with a very small single capacitor (2pF). The proposed PLL is designed to operate stably by the output of the internal negative feedback loop including the SSC acting as a negative feedback to the output of the single capacitor loop filter of the external negative feedback loop. The SSC that detects the PLL output signal change reduces the excess phase shift of the PLL output frequency by adjusting the capacitance charge of the loop filter. Although the proposed structure has a capacitor that is 1/78 smaller than that of the existing structure, the jitter size differs by about 10%. The PLL is designed using a 1.8V 180nm CMOS process and the Spice simulation results show that it works stably.

In this paper, we propose LDO regulator with improved transient using a simple feedback structure in conventional LDO regulator. This proposed circuit has the feedback structure which reduces the response time of overshoot appeared in the output of conventional LDO regulator. Therefore, this LDO regulator can be a more stable operation. Thus, the proposed feedback structure is to operate such as conventional LDO regulator without changing the area, it complements the disadvantage of LDO regulator with noise in the output. This circuit was designed to using a Dongbu Hitek 0.18um CMOS process.

In this paper, we propose an alternative method to increase the distortion cancellation bandwidth of an analog RF feedback power amplifier by using a negative group delay circuit(NGDC). A limited distortion cancellation bandwidth due to the group delay(GD) mismatch discouraged the use of feedback technique in spite of its powerful linearization performance. With the fabricated NGDC with positive phase slope over frequency, the feedback amplifier of the proposed topology experimentally achieved adjacent channel leakage ratio(ACLR) improvement of 15 dB over 50 MHz bandwidth at wideband code division multiple access(WCDMA) downlink band when tested with 2-carrier WCDMA signal. At an average output power of 28 dBm, ACLR of 25.1 dB is improved to obtain -53.2 dBc at 5 MHz offset.
In this paper, the realization of a hearing aid adaptively cancelling feedback noise was considered. Conventional least mean square method in time domain was transformed into frequency domain in order to minimize computational burden. The adaptive filter algorithm was evaluated by Matlab (Matrix laboratory), and it was confirmed by CSR 8675 Bluetooth DSP IC (Digital Signal Processor Integrated Circuit) chip firmware realization. Some remote control features by a smart phone was added to the smart hearing aid for user interface easiness.

In this thesis, feedback circuit and FM detector applied to superheterodyne receiver to extract audio signal without random noise Is implemented. The feedback loop circuit converts 45MHz received signal to 4SiKHz If signal containing mess-age without random noise. Also the feedback loop provides the End local frequency, so narrowband BPF which is containing maximum Doppler frequency without message Is needed. Finally, quadrature FM detector extract audio signal by synthesis o350" shifted signal and ampli-tude limited signal. RSSI characteristics is measured and audio characteristics Is compared with existing If module.
We propose a simple technique to stabilize the optical output intensity of a fiber ring resonator. The electronic feedback circuit system, which consists of two voltage control oscillators, a phase comparator, and a low pass filter, is applied to the fiber ring resonator in order to compensate the optical phase shift in the ring loop. The reference electrical signal determines the operating condition of the fiber ring resonator for the desired optical output signal. The experimental results within the operating range agree well with the analytical results. The simulated performance of the proposed model is also compared with that of other existing models and shows significant improvement over them.
