시스템 엔지니어링 접근 방법에 의한 정유 플랜트의 FEED 수행 업무 프로세스 개발 (A Systems Engineering Approach to FEED Work Process Development for Refinery Plant)

  • Refinery plant producing petroleum products from crude oil has significantly contributed to the creation of the national interests as a leading engineering industries. However, domestic Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) companies are facing heavy competition for orders. Domestic EPC companies as EPC contractors are faced with some problems such as undertaking responsibility for FEED packages produced by other FEED companies. But domestic EPC contractors are unfamiliar to development and validation of FEED packages. It causes poor profitability and lower competitiveness of domestic companies. It is necessary for domestic companies to have capability to perform FEED activities in order to overcome these limitations instead of focusing on EPC phase after FEED phase. The systematic procedure is needed to perform the FEED activities, however, there are present difficulties on it due to the lack of experience in FEED packages development which require various engineering knowledge of chemical process, mechanics, electrics, instrumentation, civil engineering. This study has applied systems engineering method which is multi-disciplinary approach to derive and verify the solution to meet the customer's needs when the complex system is developed to task execution process development of FEED activities for refinery plant. The problems that may occur in the future were identified in advance by taking into account the various stakeholders and system context through the application of systems engineering. It helps to develop the task execution process systematically. The developed task execution process of FEED activities is planned to make effectiveness verified by engineering professionals experienced in FEED and continually enhance this process by field application.

비진원 가공용 공구 이송장치의 고속화 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the High Speed of Cutting Tool Feed System for the Noncircular Machining)

  • With the advance of processing technology , so as to spare fuel, piston heads used in automobile reciprocating engine have complex 3-dimension, with respect to shape such as ovality, profile, eccentricity, offset, recess. Therefore, coming out of the existing process work used master cam. the process work is performed using a CNC lathe. For a precision processing, the processing work is need to make study of high speed feed gear synchronized with the rotative speed of main spindle. And then the high speed feeding system must maintain high dynamic stiffness, high speed and high positioning accuracy . In this paper, in order to achieve high speed cutting tool feeding. The linear brushless DC motor is used for satisfying this process work. The ball bush and turicite is used as the guidance of the feed gear system. Also linear encoders, digital servo amplifiers and controller are used for controlling driving motor. This paper presents the design and simulation of the new tool feed system for noncircular machining.

  • To increase accurateness and reliability of the evaluation of power tool vibration transmitted to an operator, it is necessary to measure the grip and feed forces during the measurement of hand-transmitted vibration. In the study a system was invented to measure the vibration and the grip and/or feed force, which consists of a measurement handle and a PC with a data acquisition system and the corresponding software. Strain gauges and an accelerometer were mounted on the handle surface for the simultaneous measurement of the forces and the vibration. The program in the system makes it possible to monitor the grip and feed force during the tool operation so that the operator keeps the applying forces within the pre-determined range. Investigating the vibration total values, frequency-weighted root-mean-square accelerations at the handle, obtained in repetition for each power tool with control of the grip and feed force showed more consistency than those measured without force control. By using the system the experimenter can reduce random error of the measured vibration.

  • Generally, the accuracy of motion control systems is strongly influenced by both the mechanical characteristics and servo characteristics of feed drive systems. In the fed drive systems of machine tools that consist of mechanical parts and electrical parts, a torsional vibration is often generated because of its elastic elements in torque transmission. Especially, a torsional vibration caused by the elasticity of mechanical elements might deteriorate the quick movement of system and lead to shorten the life time of the mechanical transmission elements. So it is necessary to analyze the electromechanical system mathematically to optimize the dynamic characteristics of the feed drive system. In this paper, based on the simplifies feed drive system model, radius errors due to position gain mismatch and servo response characteristic have been developed and an optimal criterion for tuning the gain of speed controller is discussed. The proportional and integral parameter gain of the feed drive controller are optimal design variables for the gain tuning of PI speed controller. Through the optimization problem formulation, both proportional and integral parameter are optimally tuned so as to compensate the radius errors by using the genetic algorithm. As a result, higher performance on circular profile tests has been achieved than the one with standard parameters.

무인이송로봇기반 자동 소사료 공급 시스템 개발 및 검증 (Development and Verification of the Automated Cow-Feeding System Driven by AGV)

  • 본 논문에서는 대형화되고 기업화되어가고 있는 국내 축산농가를 위한 AGV와 스크류컨베이어 기반의 자동 소사료 공급시스템에 대해 소개한다. 제안된 자동 소사료 공급시스템은 최상단에 펠렛형 혼합 사료가 적재되는 호퍼부, 호퍼부에서 펠렛형 혼합사료를 배출부로 이송시키는 스크류컨베이어를 장착한 이송부, 벨트컨베이어로 구성된 배출부 및 시스템 이동을 위한 전자 유도선 주행방식의 AGV로 구성되어있다. 적재된 사료 무게는 이송부의 하부에 위치한 로드셀에 의해 측정된다. 개별 우사 셀에 설치되는 RFID TAG에 미리 저장된 사료 배출정보를 시스템이 읽어 정해진 양만큼의 사료를 시스템이 주행하면서 배출하게된다. 공급 배출 테스트시스템을 제작하여 사료의 공급 능력을 결정짓는 사료 이송부의 스크류 외경, 스크류 샤프트 외경, 스크류 피치 간격 등을 포함하는 스크류컨베이어 설계인자 도출을 하였으며 도출된 설계인자들을 최종 공급시스템 제작 시에 적용하였다. 사료 급이시스템을 제어하기 위해 DSP기반의 주제어기 및 공급시나리오에 따른 급이알고리듬도 함께 개발되었다. 실험을 통해 국내 우사에 사료공급조건을 만족시키기 위해 설정된 목표인 5 m의 거리를 0.1 m/sec의 속도로 주행하면서 7 마리가 수용되는 한 개의 우사에 필요한 총 21 kg의 사료를 초당 420 g으로 균일하게 공급이 가능함을 확인하여 개발된 축우용 무인사료공급시스템이 규격화된 국내 축산농가에 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper introduces that the machine tools's feed system optimizes by modeling for simulation and adjusting drive control parameter. The first method is frequency response of speed loop with design parameter by use of MATLAB application, in order that other axis can do equal to bandwidth. The second meted uses various sensor for analyzing machine tools's structure and adjustes jirk limitter.

초고출력 안테나 시스템 급전용 다중 모드 혼 안테나 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design of Multimode Feed Horn Antenna for High Power Microwave Antenna System)

  • 본 논문에서는 초고출력 안테나 시스템의 급전용 다중 모드 혼 안테나를 제안한다. 제안된 초고출력용 급전 혼 안테나는 모드 변환기와 연결되며, 전원부와 반사판 안테나의 사이에 위치한다. 초고출력 시스템의 경우 급전 안테나의 spillover를 고려한 -25 dB 빔 폭이 반사판 안테나의 크기를 결정하므로 반사판 안테나의 소형화를 위해 -25 dB 빔 폭을 줄인 급전용 다중 모드 혼 안테나를 설계 및 제작하였다. 그 결과 제안된 다중 모드 혼 안테나를 이용한 급전 시스템의 이득은 27 dBi이며 반사 손실은 10 GHz에서 -22 dB 이하의 값이 측정되었다. 또한 -25 dB 범 폭은 수직 평면과 수평 평면에서 각각 $20.24^{\circ}$$28.92^{\circ}$로 측정되었고 이는 기존의 혼 안테나를 이용한 급전 시스템의 빔 폭보다 약 $10^{\circ}$가량 작은 값으로, 제안된 혼 안테나는 초고출력 안테나 시스템 소형화에 적합한 형태임을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, the development of high speed and high precision NC-lathe for piston head machining is needed for the complexity and diversity of the piston head shape used in automobile reciprocating engine. THe piston head has many complex shapes in the aspect of fuel economy, such as ovality, profile, double ovality and recess. Among them, for the maching of the over shape of 0.1~1mm the cutting tool should move periodically symchronized with the rotation of piston workpiece. The cutting tool feeed system must have high positioning accuracy for the precise machining, high speed for the fast maching and high dynamic stiffness for the cutting force. The linear brushless DC motor is used for satisfying these coditions. The ballbush guide and supporting guide using turcite is used for the guidance of the feed drive system. Linear encoder, digital servo ampllifer and controller are used for driving the motor. THis paper presents the design and simulation of the new tool feed system for noncircular machining.

  • Korea adopted feed-in-tariff system to disseminate the renewable energy generation in 2002, and amended twice this system in October 2003 and October 2004. It is weil known that feed-in-tariff system have been made with noticeable results in Europe countries. In Korea, however, there are many debatable issues about Korea's feed-in-tariff system, such as tariff level, operational period(the term of guarantee). assessment techniques This paper surveys and re-considers several problems and issues which have been discussed during the last two years.
