Presently, the extraction of hand-crafted features is still the dominant method in radar emitter recognition. To solve the complicated problems of selection and updation of empirical features, we present a novel automatic feature extraction structure based on deep learning. In particular, a convolutional neural network (CNN) is adopted to extract high-level abstract representations from the time-frequency images of emitter signals. Thus, the redundant process of designing discriminative features can be avoided. Furthermore, to address the performance degradation of a single platform, we propose the construction of an ensemble learning-based architecture for multi-platform fusion recognition. Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithms are feasible and effective, and they outperform other typical feature extraction and fusion recognition methods in terms of accuracy. Moreover, the proposed structure could be extended to other prevalent ensemble learning alternatives.
In this paper, we propose a novel knowledge distillation algorithm to create an compressed deep ensemble network coupled with the combined use of local and global features of face images. In order to transfer the capability of high-level recognition performances of the ensemble deep networks to a single deep network, the probability for class prediction, which is the softmax output of the ensemble network, is used as soft target for training a single deep network. By applying the knowledge distillation algorithm, the local feature informations obtained by training the deep ensemble network using facial subregions of the face image as input are transmitted to a single deep network to create a so-called compressed ensemble DCNN. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed compressed ensemble deep network can maintain the recognition performance of the complex ensemble deep networks and is superior to the recognition performance of a single deep network. In addition, our proposed method can significantly reduce the storage(memory) space and execution time, compared to the conventional ensemble deep networks developed for face recognition.

This paper investigates the importance of the computational overhead when machine learning methods, such as SVM, LASSO, AdaBoosting and AdaBagging, are used for automatic security classification.
Gene expression profile is numerical data of gene expression level from organism, measured on the microarray. Generally, each specific tissue indicates different expression levels in related genes, so that we can classify disease with gene expression profile. Because all genes are not related to disease, it is needed to select related genes that is called feature selection, and it is needed to classify selected genes properly. This paper Proposes GA based method for searching optimal ensemble of feature-classifier pairs that are composed with seven feature selection methods based on correlation, similarity, and information theory, and six representative classifiers. In experimental results with leave-one-out cross validation on two gene expression Profiles related to cancers, we can find ensembles that produce much superior to all individual feature-classifier fairs for Lymphoma dataset and Colon dataset.

Classification and analysis are improved factors for the realtime automation system. In the field of agriculture, the cultivation of different paddy crop depends on the atmosphere and the soil nature. We need to analyze the moisture level in the area to predict the type of paddy that can be cultivated. For this process, Ensemble Modulation Pattern system and Block Probability Neural Network based classification models are used to analyze the moisture and temperature of land area. The dataset consists of the collections of moisture and temperature at various data samples for a land. The Ensemble Modulation Pattern based feature analysis method, the extract of the moisture and temperature in various day patterns are analyzed and framed as the pattern for given dataset. Then from that, an improved neural network architecture based on the block probability analysis are used to classify the data pattern to predict the class of paddy crop according to the features of dataset. From that classification result, the measurement of data represents the type of paddy according to the weather condition and other features. This type of classification model assists where to plant the crop and also prevents the damage to crop due to the excess of water or excess of temperature. The result analysis presents the comparison result of proposed work with the other state-of-art methods of data classification.
This paper derives the fire risk of buildings in Seoul through the prediction of property damage and the occurrence of fires. This study differs from prior research in that it utilizes variables that include not only a building's characteristics but also its affiliated administrative area as well as the accessibility of nearby fire-fighting facilities. We use Ensemble Voting techniques to merge different machine learning algorithms to predict property damage and fire occurrence, and to extract feature importance to produce fire risk. Fire risk prediction was made on 300 buildings in Seoul utilizing the established model, and it has been derived that with buildings at Level 1 for fire risks, there were a high number of households occupying the building, and the buildings had many factors that could contribute to increasing the size of the fire, including the lack of nearby fire-fighting facilities as well as the far location of the 119 Safety Center. On the other hand, in the case of Level 5 buildings, the number of buildings and businesses is large, but the 119 Safety Center in charge are located closest to the building, which can properly respond to fire.

Digital healthcare combined with telemedicine services in the form of convergence with digital technology and AI is developing rapidly. Digital healthcare research is being conducted on many conditions including shock. However, the causes of shock are diverse, and the treatment is very complicated, requiring a high level of medical knowledge. In this paper, we propose a shock detection method based on the correlation between shock and data extracted from hemodynamic monitoring equipment. From the various parameters expressed by this equipment, four parameters closely related to patient shock were used as the input data for a machine learning model in order to detect the shock. Using the four parameters as input data, that is, feature values, a random forest-based ensemble machine learning model was constructed. The value of the mean arterial pressure was used as the correct answer value, the so called label value, to detect the patient's shock state. The performance was then compared with the decision tree and logistic regression model using a confusion matrix. The average accuracy of the random forest model was 92.80%, which shows superior performance compared to other models. We look forward to our work playing a role in helping medical staff by making recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of complex and difficult cases of shock.

In this paper, we proposed the object classification method using genetic and dynamic random forest consisting of optimal combination of unit tree. The random forest can ensure good generalization performance in combination of large amount of trees by assigning the randomization to the training samples and feature selection, etc. allocated to the decision tree as an ensemble classification model which combines with the unit decision tree based on the bagging. However, the random forest is composed of unit trees randomly, so it can show the excellent classification performance only when the sufficient amounts of trees are combined. There is no quantitative measurement method for the number of trees, and there is no choice but to repeat random tree structure continuously. The proposed algorithm is composed of random forest with a combination of optimal tree while maintaining the generalization performance of random forest. To achieve this, the problem of improving the classification performance was assigned to the optimization problem which found the optimal tree combination. For this end, the genetic algorithm methodology was applied. As a result of experiment, we had found out that the proposed algorithm could improve about 3~5% of classification performance in specific cases like common database and self infrared database compare with the existing random forest. In addition, we had shown that the optimal tree combination was decided at 55~60% level from the maximum trees.

Text mining (TM) is most widely used to find patterns from various text documents. Cyber-bullying is the term that is used to abuse a person online or offline platform. Nowadays cyber-bullying becomes more dangerous to people who are using social networking sites (SNS). Cyber-bullying is of many types such as text messaging, morphed images, morphed videos, etc. It is a very difficult task to prevent this type of abuse of the person in online SNS. Finding accurate text mining patterns gives better results in detecting cyber-bullying on any platform. Cyber-bullying is developed with the online SNS to send defamatory statements or orally bully other persons or by using the online platform to abuse in front of SNS users. Deep Learning (DL) is one of the significant domains which are used to extract and learn the quality features dynamically from the low-level text inclusions. In this scenario, Convolutional neural networks (CNN) are used for training the text data, images, and videos. CNN is a very powerful approach to training on these types of data and achieved better text classification. In this paper, an Ensemble model is introduced with the integration of Term Frequency (TF)-Inverse document frequency (IDF) and Deep Neural Network (DNN) with advanced feature-extracting techniques to classify the bullying text, images, and videos. The proposed approach also focused on reducing the training time and memory usage which helps the classification improvement.
