현재 무선 환경에서의 인터넷 사용에 대한 수요는 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으며 이에 따라 각종 무선 휴대 장치가 빠른 속도로 보급되고 있다. 이와 동시에 WAP 포럼에서 제정한 WML(Wireless Markup Language)을 사용하여 저작된 무선 컨텐츠의 양적, 질적 성장 또한 이뤄지고 있으며, 대형 무선 컨텐츠 제공업체들도 속속 등장하고 있는 추세이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 WML을 사용하여 대형 무선 컨텐츠를 저작한 때 요구되어지는 기능인 다수 개발자의 동시 저작 기능과 WML 문서내의 링크 및 실시간 Push 서비스, CGI, PERL 스크립트, voice Mail, Fax, E-Mail 템플릿 자동생성 등을 지원하는 WML 저작도구의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논한다.

Telecommunication services are distinctive in that their adoptions are influenced by network effect resulting in 'the late take-off Phenomenon' and the 'critical mass' problem. In this paper we examined, so called, 'the late take-off phenomenon' in the diffusion process of telecommunication services. We compared the parameters of the diffusion process of consumer durables with those of fax services in the US and Korea. By analyzing the parameters of a new diffusion model based on the threshold model proposed by Markus, We found that 'the late take-off phenomenon' resulted from the low heterogeneity of the threshold distribution for the potential adopters.

일상생활과 사무실에 거센 바람이 불고 있다. 그것은 근거리 무선접속규격의 신기술인 블루투스(Bluetooth)로서 우리의 모든 생활을 바꾸어 놓을 것이다. 인류의 역사를 바꾸는 신기술인 IMT-2000과 더불어 블루투스가 각광을 받고 있는 시점이다. 일상생활에서 특히 가정과 사무실에서 근거리 무선접속 구간에서의 이동성을 가진 디바이스들 간 상호통신의 새로운 표준으로 자리잡고 있다. 이와 같이, 일상생활에서의 커다란 변화와 산업 정보화시대에서 가장 큰 관건은 정보 고속화와 정보의 정확한 전달일 것이다. 이러한 것과 발맞추어 진행 중인 것이 근거리 무선구간에서의 2.4GHz대 ISM(Industrial, Scientific, Medical) 대역의 주파수를 사용하여 1Mbps 속도(실효속도 721K)로 최대 10m내에서 각종 단말기와 디바이스(예: 전화기, Fax, 데스크 탑, 노트북 컴퓨터, MP3 플레이어, 스캐너..)들을 무선 접속하는 블루투스 기술이며, 이는 기존의 유선에서의 불편함을 깔끔히 해소해 주었다. 필자는 전반적인 블루투스의 흐름을 간략하면서도 필요한 부분을 전달하는 목적으로, 또한 아직 블루투스의 위력을 인식하지 못한 기업과 독자들에게 새롭게 인식할 수 있도록 블루투스의 소개와 함께 기술적인 측면, 시스템적인 면과 회사별 제품현황에 대해 중요한 부분만을 블루투스 스팩을 기준으로 정리하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 정보풍부성이론과 사회적 영향이론의 접목을 통하여 업무특성, 기술 및 경험이 전자우편에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향과 태도가 전자우편의 사용에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 커뮤니케이션 매체에는 직접대면, 서신, 팩시밀리, 전자우편 등이 있지만 본 연구에서는 e-mail에 초점을 맞추었다. 본 연구의 결과는 전자우편에 대한 태도는 전자우편의 경험 및 기술에 영향을 받으며 전자우편의 사용은 전자우편에 대한 태도에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 정보풍부성이론과 사회적영향이론에서 예측한 결과와 동일한 것으로 나타났다.

최근 정책적 한계점에 직면한 서울시 새마을 이동문고의 운영 실태분석을 통한 활성화방안을 제시하고자 한다. 운영방법은 봉사대상 계층을 다양화, 전문화하고 순회시기는 지역별에서 이용자 확대를 위해 AM10-12. 50.6% PM 2-4, 38.2% 비율을 보인다. 순회지역은 유효봉사 반경기준을 200m로 제한 할것과 문고 차량에 컴퓨터, FAX, 복사기, 전화, CD-ROMㆍ리더기 등 탑재할 것을 요청하고 있다. 이동문고당 대출실적 아파트지역 76%, 일반주택 12%, 신규이용율 18%, 재이용 33% 증가되었다. 운영부서는 일정비율을 할당할 것등을 분석결과로 밝히고 있다.

An optimal robust design methodology has been developed to minimize warpage in injection-molded pats. The response surface methodology was applied to obtain a functional relationship between design variables and warpage value, and the modified complex method was used as an optimization tool to search for an optimal design solution over prescribed design region. To attain robustness against process variations, Taguchi's SN ratio was introduced as the design metric. The proposed optimal design procedure was applied to an actual part, the Guide-ASF model of a fax machine, and the usefulness of the methodology was shown through the CAE simulation using a commercial injection molding software package.

Since the early 1980's there has been explosive growth in the trading of financial derivatives, particularly in the OTC(over-the-counter) derivatives market. While the market has exploded in term; of growth, much of this activity is still conducted over the phone or fax. Currently, over 2,083 trillion Korean Wons are spent during 2003 by the OTC derivatives industry. XML provides an excellent framework for representing these highly structured products. FpML is the emerging XML-based tool for enabling e-Business in the OTC derivatives market. This paper discusses the application of FpML in building electronic platform designed to promote efficiencies for this market and propose the framework for STP(Straight Transaction Processing) system for OTC derivatives processing which can solve the problems with manual operations.

초고속 인터넷 망의 진화로 인하여 VoIP 기술이 대두되어 저렴한 장거리 전화로 주로 사용되었고, 기업체에서는 통신비 절감을 위하여 VoIP기술의 도입이 점차로 활발해지고 있다. 기업에서 VoIP 기술을 접목하는 서비스로는 음성전화, Fax전화, 방송 등이 있을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 VoIP를 이용한 기업 방송 서비스를 구현 하기 위한 기본 기술들을 고찰 하고, 실제 구현 방법을 제안한다.

This paper presents the proposal and hardware design of JPEG baseline encoder. The JPEG encoder system consists of line buffer, 2-D DCT, quantization, entropy encoding, and packer. A fully pipelined scheme for JPEG encoder is adopted to speed-up an image compression. The proposed architecture was described in VHDL and synthesized in Xilinx ISE 7.1i and simulated by modelsim 6.1i. The results showed that the performance of the designed JPEG baseline encoder is higher than that demanded by real-time applications for $1024{\times}768$ image size. The designed JPEG encoder IP can be easily integrated into various application systems, such as scanner, PC camera, color FAX, and network camera, etc.

This paper presents an implementation of internet gateway system, named AX-2000 and call simulator. AX-2000 plays a important role in internet telephony technology and is composed of various board such as MPU, AVU. DVU, AMU. FXS, FXO, EM. Also AX-2000 supports G.729.a, G.723.1 for voice compression, G3 FAX Relay(T.38) and H.323. A capability of AX-2000 is 8 analog voice channel or 30 digital voice channel. For functional verification of AX-2000 voice interface, call simulator is designed. The call simulator makes actual call path between SUT(system under test) and reference AX-2000 system, then through call path examines functions of voice interface.
