This study investigates the effects of convergence firefighter helmet attributes on consumer attitude toward the product and willingness-to-pay. The results of empirical analysis are as follows. First, consumer attitude toward the convergence product is more favorable when conciseness, economical efficiency, and the utility value of the convergence product's attributes are high, while consumer attitude toward the convergence product is less favorable when the perceived risk of the convergence product's attributes is high. Second, consumer willingness-to-pay for the convergence product is higher when conciseness, economical efficiency, and the utility value of the convergence product's attributes are high, while consumer willingness-to-pay for the convergence product is lower when the perceived risk of the convergence product's attributes is high. Based on our results, the implications are discussed for the further development of convergence products.

The objective of this study was to identify differences between internet fashion shoppers and non-shoppers in their fashion shopping orientation and attitude toward internet shopping site service. Also behavior of internet shoppers and non-shoppers was compared by gender. Twelve hundred and ninety two responses were obtained from an online survey. 20 items were used to measure shopping orientation and 13 items to measure attitude toward internet shopping site service, which were modified from previous studies. Some demographics and internet familiarity were asked. Factor analysis, t-test, chi-square test, and regression were conducted. Factor analysis produced five fashion shopping orientation factors such as fashion oriented, shopping oriented, brand oriented, personality oriented, and value oriented. Attitude toward internet shopping site service were classified into three factors, at-site service, after purchasing service, and product information. Internet fashion shoppers and non-shoppers were significantly different in most items of shopping orientation and attitude toward internet site service. Internet shoppers were likely to be fashion oriented, to enjoy shopping, to pursue brandname and personality, and to concern price more than non-shoppers were. Internet shoppers also had more favorable attitude toward product information and at-site service. Also, shoppers were more familiar than non-shoppers to the internet in terms of duration of web-browsing. Ratio of men and women differed significantly for shopper vs. non-shopper groups. Female shoppers were likely to be more fashion, shopping. and value oriented but to have less favorable attitude for after purchasing service than male shoppers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Socially Responsible Advertisements and Socially Responsible Fashion Advertisements affect brand attitudes, dependent on the level of consumer recollection. The following is a summary of the main findings. Corporate Socially Responsible Advertisements had a positive effect on the behavioral attitude of consumers. However, Socially Responsible Fashion Advertisements more positively affected the emotive attitude. Considering the consumer's recollection, the influences of Socially Responsible Advertisements and Socially Responsible Fashion Advertisements on Brand Attitude were investigated. In the case of Socially Responsible Advertisement, the cognitive attitude factor, that is the rational aspect of consumers, induced a favorable response, whereas, in Socially Responsible Fashion Advertisements, the emotive attitude factor had the highest level of influence on consumers.
For the purpose of achieving ad novelty, certain types of ads are frequently created to gain consumers' attention leaving out some of the main creative elements which have generally been considered to be important in producing ad effectiveness. Given circumstance, this experimental study examines the effects of different sets of creative elements in TV advertising; specifically, the research manipulated a TV commercial containing different types of creative elements and explored the effects on attitude towards the ad and the brand. The results are summarized as follow: Fist, there is significant difference in both ad attitude and brand attitude between two groups. The group of people who watched a TV commercial including both product & non-product related elements showed higher mean attitude towards the ad. Second, the ad with both product & non-product elements led more favorable attitude towards the ad when brand familiarity is high. Finally, the group of male participants showed more favorable attitude towards the ad with both product & non-product related elements when brand familiarity is low. Findings from this study will be able to provide a valuable contribution to the strategic decision-making process as ad agencies look for the basis for consideration of creative strategy in TV advertising.
CMG(Control Momentum Gyro) is a control device being used for spacecraft attitude control constructing relatively large amount of torque compared to conventional body-fixed reaction wheels. The CMG produces gyroscopic control torque by continuously varying the angular momentum vector direction with respect to the spacecraft body. The VSCMG(Variable Speed Control Momentum Gyro) has favorable advantages with variable speed to lead to better control authority as well as singularity avoidance capability. Attitude dynamics with a VSCMG mounted on a two-axis gimbal system are derived in this study. The dynamic equation may be considered as an extension of the single-axis counterpart. Also, a feedback control law design is addressed in conjunction with the dynamic equations of motion.
The purposes of this study were to explain consumer attitude and purchasing behavior, and coping strategy considering consumption emotions of technology and individual characteristics associated with high-tech products. The results of this study were as follows: consumer attitude was found to be somewhat favorable and a half of the respondents had some purchasing experience of high-tech products. Many consumers were more likely to perceive consumption emotion and some of coping strategies were found to be preferred to others. Then consumer attitude was found to be significantly influenced by some of the consumption emotion, while other individual characteristics were found to be insignificant. In addition, the purchasing experience was found to be significantly influenced by consumer attitude, marital status and education. Finally, each kind of consumption emotion might have a relation to several coping strategies.

Smart home and artificial intelligence technologies are developing rapidly, and various smart home systems associated with artificial intelligence (AI) improved the quality of living for people. In the present research, we examine the role of individuals' motivational system in their responses to the application of AI in smart homes. In particular, this research focuses on individuals' prevention motivational system and investigates whether individuals' attitudes toward the application of AI in smart homes differ according to their level of prevention motivation. Specifically, it is hypothesized that individuals with strong (vs. weak) prevention motivation will have more favorable attitudes toward the application of AI in smart homes. Consistent with the hypothesis, the results reveal that the respondents in the strong (vs. weak) prevention motivation reported significantly more favorable attitudes toward the six types of AI-based application in smart homes (e.g., AIbased AR/VR games, AI pet care system, AI robots, etc.). Our findings suggest that individuals' prevention motivational system may be an effective market segmentation tool in facilitating their positive responses to the application of AI in smart homes.
The purpose of this study was to identify and to compare the fashion show effectiveness between consumers and sponsors. The data were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, cross-tab, t-test and Kruskal Wallis with utilizing SPSS for Windows. The results of this study were as follow: 1. There was a favorable attitude towards fashion show itself but negative attitude towards possibility of purchasing clothes through fashion show. 2. Possibility of purchasing clothes through fashion show was very rare. Only 7.3% of consumers showed the experience of purchasing clothes through the show. 3. There were significant differences in the perception of watching fashion show purpose between consumers and sponsors. Consumers considered fashion show as more entertaining factor but sponsors considered show as more informative and sales promotion factor. 4. There was different recognition about purpose of having fashion show between consumers and sponsors. Sponsors utilized fashion show for the sales promotion medium but consumers recognized the fashion show as publicity for the company. 5. Sponsors showed more favorable attitude towards fashion show than consumers group.

There is an increasingly fierce competition in the current fashion industry due to equalized technology, a shortened fashion cycle and changing lifestyle; however, it is not easy to map out successful marketing strategies that influence the outcome of business administration. This study discussed the importance of changing environments for the fashion industry and of CSR activities. The findings of the study were as follows. First, consumers who found the fashion company to perform more appropriate CSR activities rated its CSR activities more favorably. Second, consumers who considered the company's CSR activities more suitable for themselves viewed the CSR activities more favorably. Third, consumers who rated a fashion company's CSR activities more favorably showed a more favorable attitude to the company. Fourth, consumers who viewed a fashion company's CSR activities more favorably had a greater intention to recommend the company. Fifth, consumers who viewed a fashion company's CSR activities more favorably had a more buying intention for the company. Sixth, the consumers who took a more favorable attitude to a fashion company had a stronger recommendation intention for that fashion company. Seventh, the consumers who showed a more favorable attitude to a fashion company had a bigger buying intention. Eighth, the consumers who had a greater recommendation intention for a fashion company had an increased buying intention as well.
This study investigates the effect of visual merchandising congruity perception on brand attitude and purchase intention. In addition, this study examines the mediating role of perceived risk in the process. Four retail fashion brands with classic image were selected in the previous research to avoid the influence of different brand images. Questionnaires were distributed to 200 customers leaving the four fashion retail stores which were chosen by the previous research. A total of 167 completed questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 7.0 statistical packages. The results were summarized as follows. First, visual merchandising congruity perception positively affected brand attitude. This result supports the match-up hypothesis. Second, brand attitude positively influenced purchase intention. Third, visual merchandising congruity perception did not directly affect purchase intention. Visual merchandising congruity perception indirectly influenced purchase intention by mediating brand attitude; however, it did not directly influence purchase intention. Therefore, the strategic approaches to enhance favorable brand attitude through visual merchandising congruity perception should be tried. Fourth, visual merchandising congruity perception negatively affected perceived risk. Fifth, perceived risk negatively affected brand attitude. Sixth, visual merchandising congruity perception affected brand attitude by mediating perceived risk. Therefore, it is needed to devise the visual merchandising strategy that lowers the perceived risk in order to make a positive brand attitude.
