  • Nowadays the Design-Build Delivery Method in public sector has been remarkably grown up in applying owing to its merits such as shortening construction duration. The Fast-Track is the wide-using method for accelerating schedule at Design-Build projects. But the public agency is in trouble to execute Fast-Track because of the lack of guideline for its process. As a result, in some cases applying Fast-Track methods, cost and construction duration are increased more than cases of non-Fast-Track projects. In this study, through the questionnaire surveys to professionals having actual implementation experiences as a construction manager, owner or general contractor, key success vehicles of Fast-Track are induced.

복잡한 환경에서 다중표적추적을 위한 고속 트랙병합 기법 (A Method of Fast Track Merging for Multi-Target Tracking under Heavy Clutter Environment)

  • In this paper, we proposed a method of fast track merging which is the foundation of track to track association technique. The existing method of track merging is performed throughout comparison between tracks to tracks. Therefore, it has heavy calculation time. In our research, we developed a method for fast clustering by using nearest neighbor measurement identification. The simulation results show that the proposed method is more faster than previous method about 3.3%. We expect that this method could be effectively used in multi-target tracking particularly in heavy clutter environment.

  • The purpose of this research is to perform a case study for verifying problems of BIM application to the building construction project using Fast Track method. The object of case study is an actual construction project completed in 2013. As a result, some problems and solutions for those were extracted. The result of this study will contribute revitalization to the BIM application in the project using Fast Track method.

  • 최근 공사규모의 대형화, 복잡화 등으로 토목, 건축, 기계 등의 복합공종으로 구성된 공사들은 공기절감을 위해 패스트트랙(Fast Track) 방식으로 진행되는 사례가 많으며, 패스트트랙 방식에서는 적정 단계구분이 전체 프로젝트의 공기 책정에 중요한 사안이다. 본 연구에서는 복합공종으로 구성된 건설공사가 패스트트랙으로 진행될 때 적용할 수 있는 단계구분 방식을 제시하고 있다. 이를 위해 연구에서는 토목, 건축공사로 구성된 4개의 축구전용경기장 공사를 적용 사례로 분석하여 세분화된 공정분류체계(Work Breakdown Structure, WBS)를 통해 주요 단계별 공정 구분에 의한 일정표를 분석하고, 5가지 시안을 적용하여 패스트트랙 단계구분의 적정성을 분석한다. 분석된 시안중에서 최소 공기를 갖는 시안에 대하여 패스트트랙 단계구분 및 단계별 주요 공정의 구성 모형을 제시하였다. 이러한 방법론은 패스트트랙이 적용되는 유사한 규모의 대형 복합공사에서 패스트트랙 적용 시에 적정 단계 구분과 단계별 공정 구성 체계에 활용성을 가질 수 있다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 사회간접자본의 대표적인 시설인 댐과 같이 기획, 조사, 타당성분석 단계에서부터 설계, 계약, 시공 및 유지관리단계까지 건설 생애주기가 긴 경우 Risk에 노출되는 시간 또한 길어져 건설기간 지연에 따른 비용증가는 물론 적기 미 준공시의 증액비용과 이용연기에 따른 편익손실로 국가 전체의 경쟁력을 저하시킴으로 이들 문제점을 감소시키는 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 생애주기 각 단계별로 경제성분석을 통한 공기와 비용을 연계 분석하여 효율적이고 체계적인 사업수행단계 및 건설공정 Network모델을 도출하고 이 성과를 토대로 생애주기분석에 있어 Fast Track기법을 적용하는 하나의 새로운 방안으로 제안하고자 한다.

패스트트랙 환경에서 FAB신축을 지원하는 BIM기반 AR 시스템 개발 (AR system for FAB construction management using BIM data under fast track condition)

  • New Fabrication Facility (FAB) construction is performed with Building Information Modeling (BIM) based design. The BIM design data keep updated during the FAB construction. To improve fast-track construction management, a Fabrication Facility Augmented Reality (FABAR) was developed. This study introduces a FABAR system development process and shows performance evaluation results of the FABAR prototype system. The FABAR is implemented with three major modules: Augmented Reality (AR) visualization unit (Room-box) to transfer big BIM data to AR data, AR registration and tracking unit to match AR with real scape and to keep AR coordination in real, and AR data management unit to enhance usability. The prototype performance results were as follows: visualization of design BIM data via AR within 24 hours, precise AR registration and tracking registration, and appropriate usability to support FAB construction management at site. The results indicate that the FABAR is applicable for FAB construction management. Especially, the BIM data transformation method using Room-box in this study signifies a new construction management approach using fluctuating BIM design data in the fast track construction condition.

In addition to conventional partly mechanised tracklaying methods, a new Method has been developed that for the first time enables Y-form sleepers to be laid on an assembly-line basis at a fast rate and with high quality.

  • In this paper a fast matching method using subtemplate and search and down technique to reduce very heavy computational load of the conventional matching method, is presented The proposed method is spplied to an automatic target tracker in order to track one moving object in comparatively simple backgoriund. Experimental results show that istperformanced is not so degraded in spite of high computational reduction as that of the conventional matching method.

  • In this paper, a fast matching method using hierarchical neighborhood search and subtemplate to reduce very heavy computational load of the conventional matching method, is presented. Some parameters of the proposed method are chosen so that an automatic target tracker to which it is applied can track one moving object well in comparatively simple background. Experimental results show that its performance is not so degraded in spite of high computational reduction over that of the matching method using 3-step search.
