  • The diversity of microflora according to growth stage of Pleurotus ostreatus and the correlation between microbe and medium fermentation were investigated. In farmhouse I, the aerobic bacteria and fungi as longer of growing period were increased. And, thermophilic bacteria and fluorescent Pseudomonas sp. showed high density at the early stage of spawn inoculation. The thermophilic actinomycetes were distributed evenly during all the growing period, but mesophilic actinomycetes were not observed. In farmhouse II, thermophilic actinomycetes were not observed in fermented medium and density of fungi were suddenly increased at 60 days after spawn inoculation. And also, mushrooms can hardly be harvested due to Penicillium spp. After medium fermentation, density of aerobic bacteria, thermophilic bacteria, and fluorescent Pseudomonas sp. was higher at farmhouse I than those of farmhouse II. In farmhouse I, Bacillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp. dominated at early stage of mushroom growth but as time goes by, density of Bacillus sp. was higher than the others. And also, the kind of microbe showed a few at early stage of mushroom growth but increased as time goes by. In farmhouse II, Bacillus sp. was dominated at early stage of mushroom growth. And the growth of Bacillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp. showed intersect aspect each other in the farmhouse I but Bacillus sp. dominated during all growth periods in the farmhouse II.

  • The study was conducted to investigate seasonal nutrient dynamics in rice-cultivated soils collected from farmhouses of three large-scale environment-friendly agricultural districts (LEAD), Jangheung, Suncheon, and Okcheon in which environmental-friendly agriculture has been exemplarily practiced in Korea. Among three districts, Crop- livestock cycling organic farming system had been introduced only in Jangheung. pH and EC of farmhouse soils of three LEADs were ranged between 5.5 - 6.7 and $0.4-1.0dS\;m^{-1}$ from March to September, respectively. T-N was observed to be high on the farmhouse soil in Suncheon and K was observed to be lowest on farmhouse soil in Okcheon. Concentration of $NH_4-N$ in soil was observed to be highest on June, in particular on the farmhouse in Jangheung, but rapidly decreased due to the loss of fertilizer applied in Spring. Yield and harvest index were the highest on the farmhouse in Okcheon in which total annual gross production $ha^{-1}$ was nearly three time higher than those of other two farmhouses. Farmhouse soil of Okcheon was maintained the highest seasonal nutrient balance due to the high input of fertilizer. It was estimated that K balance in the farmhouse soil in Suncheon dropped to $-60kg\;ha^{-1}$ on September, and it might have some effect on the less rice productivity due to K deficiency. Farmhouse soil in Jangheung was maintained low seasonal balance of T-N and P but showed the highest N use efficiency in the rice grain. Based on above-mentioned results, we think Jangheung farmhouse can be recommended as a model farmhouse of LEADs.

  • This study was carried out to obtain the optimal ammonia removal efficiency using pyroligenous liquid for the economical and environment-friendly odor removal at a petty livestock farmhouse. The ammonia removal efficiencies were evaluated due to changing dilution rates(${\times}$10, ${\times}$20, ${\times}$30, ${\times}$50 and ${\times}$100 times) and different spray amounts(10$m\ell$ and 20$m\ell$) of pyroligenous liquid. The wet scrubber device was used to remove odor in closed-type livestock farmhouse. According to dilution rate of the pyroligenous liquid, the optimum rate was 20 times and the removal efficiency increased by decreasing dilution rates. In the case of spray amounts with the optimum dilution, the amount was 20 me and the removal efficiency increased by increasing spray amount. Also, the removal efficiency by using wet deodorizing device was 83.0-97.0% with 20 times diluted liquid.

  • TCA(Total Cost Assessment) can be defined by a tool to evaluate actual profit about investment. Also, It can be used by method to make more reasonable decision-making in business. Enforcement of 'direct payment system' for environment friendship farmhouse of government is spreading recent times. But, it is true that it is no definite standard about appropriation of disbursement amount of money. TCA method can be utilized usefully for solution of these problem. Also, It will help to decide price grasping invisible cost and environment cost. Therefore, We tried that may can apply TCA theory in farmhouse class, and attempted economic performance estimation which use this. This study introduces TCA theory and developed applicable expense list in agriculture field. Also, We applied TCA theory to farmhouse. This theories referenced domestic and th6 foreign countries, connection literature. But, It handled part about invisible cost and social cost etc..

  • The study was conducted to research the desirable method for fermentation of acidic apple beverage in the farmhouse. Step by step fermentation(SSF), complex fermentation after crushing of the fruit(CCF), complex fermentation after slicing of the fruit(SCF) and natural fermentation added yeast only after slicing of the fruit(SYNF) were compared. The brief fermentor for using stationary complex fermentation in the farmhouse was made in this experiment. The ability of acid production, flavor, taste and color were measured by sensory evaluation and mechanical methods. The quality of vinegar by SYNF and SCF were estimated by color, flavor, content, composition of sugar, and organic acids, and which was a suitable fermentation method for the farmhouse. The strains of acetobacter, SYNF-1 and 2 were isolated from the SYNF vinegar, and if has been shown that the SYNF-1 was a main strain in this study.

  • After carrying out on-the-spot observation targeting each farmhouse of large-scale environment-friendly agricultural district (LEAD), Suncheon, Sancheong, Jangheung, Yeongam, Hamyang, Okcheon, and Jeongseon in 2015, only one LEAD, a farmhouse in Jangheung had used sustainable compost coming out under their own non-antibiotic livestock. The soil pH and EC at a depth of 0-20 cm in the seven LEADs were ranged between 5.3-6.6 and $0.4-1.2dS\;m^{-1}$, respectively, with 0.03- 0.27% for T-N concentration, $22-322mg\;kg^{-1}$ for P, and $0.05-0.29mg\;kg^{-1}$, which were, in particular, low a farmhouse in Jeongseon. When intensively surveying on each farmhouse of Suncheon, Jangheung, and Okcheon for a growing period, seasonal soil pH was maintained above 6.0 and high in a farmhouse in Okcheon, with similar soil EC observed among the three LEADs. Seasonal soil T-N was 0.1% higher on the farmhouse in Suncheon than other two LEADs, with higher seasonal soil P observed on the farmhouse in Okcheon and higher soil K in the Jangheung. T-N concentration in rice (Oryza sativa L.) crops was the highest in Jangheung, and concentrations of T-N, P, and K decreased in a season. Plant height and number of tillers per hill were the highest on the farmhouse in Okcheon, where was similar or low plant diameter and SPAD levels compared to other two LEADs. Dry weight (DW) before harvest was ranged between 52-63 g, and DW, rough rice yield (kg), brown rice/rough rice (%), brown rice yield (kg), head rice (%), and broken rice (%) were not significantly different among the three LEADs. Total annual gross production ha-1 was the highest on the farmhouse in Okcheon (16,230,000 won) planting with high class of variety, 'Milky queen' at early maturation, which was expected to be increased on an agricultural income. However, high amount of fertilizer was applied for growing the following crops on the farmhouse in Okcheon, affecting the highest balance of T-N, P, and K more than $200kg\;ha^{-1}$.
