베이비부머의 사회적 지지가 우울감 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Association between Social Support and the Change in Depressive Symptoms among Baby Boomer)

  • 본 연구는 베이비부머의 사회적 지지(배우자 관계 만족도, 자녀 관계 만족도, 사회적 관계 접촉 빈도, 참여모임 수)가 우울감 변화에 미치는 영향과 이에 대한 성별의 차이를 확인하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 고령화연구패널조사(Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging: KLoSA) 5차(2014년)와 6차(2016년) 자료를 활용하여 분석을 시행하였으며, 연구대상은 베이비부머(1955년생부터 1963년생)로 5차와 6차 자료 모두에서 배우자와 자녀가 있다고 응답한 사람이다(N=1,210). 독립변수인 사회적 지지는 배우자 관계 만족도, 자녀 관계 만족도, 사회적 관계 접촉 빈도, 참여모임 수로 측정되었으며, 종속변수는 우울감 변화이다. 시차효과모델을 적용한 회귀식을 통해 우울감 변화를 통계적으로 모형화하였으며, 통제변수의 영향과 사회적 지지의 영향, 성별의 차이에 따른 영향을 단계적으로 탐색하기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 각각의 사회적 지지와 성별의 상호작용항을 투입하여 분석을 실시한 결과, 사회적 지지가 우울감 변화에 미치는 영향에 관한 성별의 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 배우자 관계 만족도와 자녀 관계 만족도는 우울감 변화에 대한 주효과가 발견되었지만 사회적 관계 접촉 빈도와 참여모임 수는 우울감 변화와 통계적으로 유의미한 관련성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 배우자와 자녀로부터의 지지는 베이비부머의 우울감을 낮추는 데 긍정적으로 작용하였으며, 이러한 경향성은 남성과 여성 베이비부머에게서 동일하게 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 다양한 사회적 지지들 중 특히 부부관계와 자녀와의 관계의 질을 향상시키는 것이 베이비부머의 우울감 감소를 위해 중요하다는 것을 시사한다.

근위축성측삭경화증 가족 돌봄제공자의 심리사회적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Psychosocial Well-Being in Family Caregivers of People with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing psychosocial well-being in family caregivers of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Methods: A descriptive correlational design was used. The transactional model of stress and coping was used to investigate the psychosocial well-being of 137 family caregivers of patients with ALS. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from January to November 2016. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. Results: The regression model had an adjusted $R^2$ of .49, which indicated that meaning-focused coping, social support, ALS patient-family caregiver relationship (especially a spousal relationship), and tracheostomy were significant predictors of caregivers' psychosocial well-being. Conclusion: Meaning-focused coping and social support significantly influenced caregivers' psychosocial well-being. Therefore, interventions to improve caregivers' psychosocial well-being must focus on increasing meaning-focused coping and social support resources.

가정내 치매노인간호자부담에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on Family Caregivers' Burden of the Elderly with Dementia)

  • The purpose of this study· is to identify sources of the caregiving burden, thereby suggesting social welfare alternetives for supporting family caregivers of the elderly with dementia. 23 family caregivers who participated in self-help group of family caregivers of dementia elderly at a welfare facility for the elderly in Seoul were seleted as the study sample. Zarit caregiving burden scale and Zarit functional impairment measurement for the elderly were adapted for this study and a number of additional variables were included in this study. Correlational analysis was utilized. The results of the study were summarized as follows : 1) The impairment of activities of daily living of the elderly was significantly related to the negative elderly. caregiver-family relationship(PADL:r=.6032 IADL : r=.5930 p<.05). 2) The impact on caregiver's health was very significantly related to the impact on the caregiver's task(r=.6233 p<.001). 3) The Impact on caregiver's health was very significantly related to the impact on the caregiver's social activity restriction(r=.6851 p<.001). 4) The impact on the caregiver's social activity was very significantly related to the impact on the caregiver's task(r=.6969 p<.001). 5) Caregiver's income was significantly related to the impact on the caregiver's task(r=.5252 p<.05). 6) Compensation(interpersonal relationship between the elderly and the caregivers, social praise and appreciation of the elderly) was important variables which affect to the feeling of the caregiving burden.

미취학 자녀를 둔 취업모의 사회적 안녕감에 관한 연구 (Study of the Social Wellbeing of Working Mothers of Preschool Children)

  • This study examined the social wellbeing of working mothers of preschool children with the aim of identifying relationships between social wellbeing and influencing factors, focusing on the individual, relationship, and work environment of the mothers. Data on 390 working mothers were used for this study. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 program and descriptive statistics. Pearson's correlation analyses and hierarchical regression analyses were performed. The results show that social wellbeing has significantly positive correlations with education, monthly household income, number of children, age of the first child(8 and over), social capital for childcare, division of childcare, maternal role values, spouse's beliefs about paternal parenting involvement, and family-supportive work environment, as well as significantly negative correlations with weekly working hours, sociological ambivalence, spouse's beliefs about father's breadwinner role and gender-role values, job overload, and gender-role attitudes of coworkers. In addition, hierarchical regression revealed that spouse's beliefs about paternal parenting involvement and a family-supportive work environment were significantly positive predictors of working mothers'social wellbeing, whereas working mothers'sociological ambivalence toward their roles, job overload, and gender-role attitudes of coworkers were significantly negative predictors of working mothers'social wellbeing. These results point to ways of changing education and policy to improve the social wellbeing of working mothers.

장애 아동 부모의 사회적지지가 가족기능에 미치는 영향: 장애수용의 매개효과와 경제적 안정감의 조절효과 (The Effect of Social Support of Parents of children with Disabilities on Family Function : Mediating effect of disability)

  • 본 연구는 아동발달센터에서 치료 및 훈련을 받는 발달장애를 가진 아동의 부모를 대상으로 사회적지지, 장애수용, 경제적 안정감, 가족기능 간의 관계를 규명하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 S시 소재 아동발달센터를 이용하는 발달장애 아동의 부모 252명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 사회적지지와 가족기능 간의 관계에서 장애수용의 매개 효과와 사회적지지, 장애수용과 가족기능 간의 관계에서 경제적 안정감의 조절효과를 검증하기 위하여 매개효과 3단계 검증 절차와 위계적 다중회귀분석을 활용하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조절변인인 경제적 안정감의 조절효과를 확인한 결과 사회적 지지와 가족기능 및 장애수용과 가족기능간의 관계 모두 경제적 안정감의 조절효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지와 가족기능간의 관계를 장애수용이 매개하는지 검증한 결과, 사회적 지지와 가족기능의 관계를 장애수용이 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 발달장애를 가진 아동의 가정이 제대로 기능할 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

사회복지기관 기혼 여성 사회복지사의 일과 가정 양립을 위한 가족 친화적 조직문화에 대한 연구 (The Study on the Family-Friendly Organizational Culture for Enhancing the Job Engagement of the Married Female Social Worker in the Social Welfare Organization)

  • 본 논문은 가족 친화적 조직문화가 사회복지기관 기혼 여성 사회복지사의 직무열의에 미치는 영향과, 양자 간에 일-가정 갈등이 가진 매개효과를 규명하고, 이를 바탕으로 사회복지기관의 바람직한 가족 친화적 조직문화 조성을 위한 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구결과, 가족 친화적 조직문화는 직무열의에 직접적인 영향을 미치고, 일-가정 갈등을 매개로 직무열의에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 일-가정 갈등이 가족 친화적 조직문화와 직무열의 간의 매개효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 가족 친화적 조직문화가 기혼 여성 사회복지사의 일-가정 갈등을 경감시키고 직무열의를 향상시키는 좋은 방안임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 사회복지기관의 가족 친화적 조직문화를 형성하기 위해서는 일과 가정의 조화를 중시하는 가치를 공유하는 수준을 넘어, 조직 내 모든 근로자에게 적용되는 탄력근무제와 직무표준화, 성과관리제 그리고 인사시스템 등을 갖추어져야 한다고 제언했다.

또래 괴롭힘 피해가 중학생의 사회불안에 미치는 영향에 대한 자아개념의 매개효과 (Effect of Peer Victimization on Social Anxiety in Middle School Students and The Mediating Role of Self-Concept)

  • This study examined the mediating effect of self-concept on the relationship of peer victimization and social anxiety in middle school students. Study participants consisted of 235 (122 boys and 113 girls) first to third graders from three middle schools located in Seoul and Gyung-gi province. The School Violence Experience Scale and the Self-Concept Scale were used to measure research variables in the Korean version of Social Anxiety Scale for adolescents. Descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficients were calculated to examine the general tendency of study variables. In addition, structural equation modeling(SEM) was used to examine the mediating model. The study results were as follows. First, the level of peer victimization of the middle school students decreased the self-concept level; in addition, the self-concept level had a significant negative effect on the social anxiety level. Second, the self-concept level fully mediated the peer victimization and social anxiety relationship. In conclusion, a higher peer victimization level resulted in a lower self-concept level, that produced a higher social anxiety level in middle school students. The results suggested that implementing effective interventions to prevent peer victimization and encouraging a positive self-concept in middle school students would make a significant contribution to reducing social anxiety.

유아의 자아개념과 관련된 유아용 그림책에 나타난 주인공에 관한 내용분석 (Content Analysis of Leading Characters in Picture Books Relating to Self-Concept in Children)

  • The purpose of this analysis is to investigate the effect of leading characters in picture books on self concept in children. For this study, we selected a total of 55 picture books, all of which were best sellers in four internet book stores. The method used for the study was based on content analysis. The results of this analysis were as follows: First, the gender of leading characters was male more often than female, and the majority of picture books were creative story books and translation books. Second, subordinate parts related to the self-concept were most frequently found in the social self-concept. Social self-concept was positively expressed through the relationship between friend and family characters in story books. Cognitive self-concept was the least. Third, when the frequency of positive and negative expressions in picture books was analyzed, the social self-concept was found to be positively expressed in the subordinate parts of relationships between friends and family. The social self-concept was negatively expressed, however, in the subordinate parts of relationship between non-significant others, and the emotional self-concept was also negatively expressed in the subordinate parts of the emotional recognition and expression. In summary. instances of cognitive self-concept and positive expression were found to be more significant than negative ones.
