We want to make a model which can explain the whole by using the representative adjectives. We got the adjectives through the questionnaire survey, field survey, and internet survey. To find the representative adjectives, we used modified factor analysis. The factor analysis used in preceding research can not control the individual difference of sensitivity, because the distribution information of data is concentrated into the mean. So, we used the modified factor analysis to control it. The experimental result showed that the reduced factors could account about 79.5% when the number of factor are three. The individual difference of sensitivity was reflected in some adjectives. This result can be used to make a recommending model for wallpaper.

The subject profession group against which each profession group feels the most conflict in interprofession mutual recognition relation was found out as follows; Specialists(34%) against colleague specialists, residents(54.0%) against nurses, nurses(54.8%) against residents, radiologic technicians(44.0%) against residents, and clinicopathologic technicians(34.5%) against nurses, while it was shown that health record administrator felt even conflict against residents, nurses and administrative employees and administrative employees(48.1) did against nurses. Most employee group answered that medical specialists have a one-sided and individual attitude toward all affairs, while both medical specialists and administrative employees of hospital answered that nurses are one-sided. It was shown among such groups that radiologic technicians' conflict results from their thinking which mutual dependence and cooperation are lowest while individual difference is highest, clinicopatholigic technicians' conflict from the problem in mutual communication, medical specialists' conflict from difference in goals greater than other group, respectively lower than other group. The rate of vertical conflict between groups was highest for the health record administrators and then for the radiological technicians, while it was lowest for the medical specialists and then for the nurses. In addition, the rate of horizontal conflict was high for both medical specialists and nurses, but it was low for the health record administrations and clinicopathological technicians. The group with the highest job satisfaction was the medical specialists and nurses, and the group with the highest involvement in organization was the medical specialists and administrative employees. • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify a regional difference among drinking behaviors, sober motivation, and drinking problems. Methods: The subjects included 600 citizens living in two regions, Busan. Descriptive analysis, t-test, correlation, and path analysis were used to confirm the regional difference. Results: The path of drinking method on sober motivation was statistically significant in both regions and drinking attitude was found to be a common factor that weakens an individual's sober motivation. Besides, the path of social networking on sober motivation had a difference in statistical significance between the two regions. Finally, the influence of social networks of District N (comparison region) on sober motivation was statistically significant and stronger than that of District D. Conclusions: A social environment-centered intervention to address drinking problems is essential in District N because of its people's tendency to drink together. On the other hand, an individual-focused intervention is preferred in District D where sober motivation is mainly affected by drinking method and attitude.

  • This study was executed to deduce the factors affecting eco-friendly behaviors and attitudes, to analyse the difference of eco-friendly behaviors and attitudes between countries, and to draw the variables affecting clothing recycling behavior. The sample comprised people from the UK, China, South Korea. The results were as follows. The four factors related to eco-friendly behaviors and the five factors related to eco-friendly attitudes were derived from the results of factor analysis. In the case of eco-friendly behaviors, four eco-friendly behavior factors showed a significant difference all according to gender and country. In the case of eco-friendly attitudes, saving of natural resources for eco-friendly life, recycling for eco-friendly life, and individual preference for eco-friendly life showed a significant according to gender, also recycling for eco-friendly life, individual preference for eco-friendly life, social awareness for eco-friendly life, and company's awareness for eco-friendly life showed a significant difference according to country. All of the variables related to clothing recycling behaviors showed the significant difference according to gender and countries. It was verified that the stronger the behaviors or attitudes for waste recycling and environmental protection, individual preference for eco-friendly life, saving of natural resources, buying eco-friendly products, and separate collection for recycling, the more positive the action to clothing recycling. The results of this study will be helpful to establish a marketing strategy for each country and to deduce a plan to attract clothing recycling form people.

  • This study examined within-and between-individual variation in nutrient intakes in order to estimate the degrees of precison in dietary assessment among 59 female volunteers aged 21-23 years. Self-recorded 7-day dietary recalls and records were collected by during a 3 month period. Between the recall and record methods, there were little difference of within-and between-individual variations. Within-to-between individual variation ratios were > 2.0 for most of the nutrients examined, and were higher for niacin, vitamin A and C (>2.5) in the recals and for calcium, iron, vitamin A and C(>3.0) in the records. With 7-day dietary data, observed nutrient intakes were estimated to within 26-107% of the subjects' true(usual) intakes, among those vitamin C and energy showed the highest and lowest values, respectively. Correlation coefficients between observed and true nutrient intakes were 0.73-0.81 for the recalls and 0.68-0.77 for the records. In order to estimate with 20% precision, 12-13 days of dietary study were required for energy, 46 for calcium, 71-72 for vitamin A, and 199-200 for vitamin C. Attenuation factor ranged 0.73-0.81 for the recalls and 0.68-0.77 for the records. This study implies that commonly used 1 or 3 day dietary studies may not be appropriate for assessing individuals' nutrient intakes. Further research focusing on the methodological issues in the assessment of Korean diet are needed for between understanding of the relationship between diet and health in Koreans.

  • The traditional intelligent teachable system has mainly focused on knowledge and cognition. It has overlooked motivational aspects of learners. Motivation is an important factor in learning making learners to have interests in a given task and persist it. Although the systems include cognitive as well as motivational factors, the effects of ITS on interest are not equivalent depending on individual characteristics. This study is to investigate how influence learners' response patterns to their interests and also examined effects of individual characteristics on interest in teachable agent (TA). In this experiment, we used KORI which is a new type of ITS that learner teach computer agent based on the instructional method of learning by teaching'. In the beginning of experiments, metacognition, achievement goal orientation and self-efficacy were measured as individual characteristics. Then, participants were asked to use KORI at home during 10 days. After using KORI the level of interest were measured. The result showed that metacognition was positively related with interest, whereas performance goal orientation and mastery goal orientation were negatively related to interest. It suggests t hat different individual characteristics should be considered to promote learners' intrinsic motivation in TA.

  • This study examined different individual and parental factors that affect children's achievement motivation. For an analysis, perceived competence, intrinsic locus of control were included in individual variables. For parental variables, parental support and achievement pressure and marital conflict were examined. The sample consisted of 561 fifth and sixth grade children. Statistics and methods used for the data analysis were Cronbach's alpha, Factor analysis, frequency, percentage, Pearson's correlation, and Hierarchical Regression. Several major results were found from the analysis. First, girl's achievement motivation was higher than boys. No age difference was found between fifth and sixth grade. Second, boy's and girl's achievement motivation had a positive correlation with perceived competence, intrinsic locus of control, parental support and achievement pressure but a negative correlation with parental marital conflict. Third, important variables predicting boy's and girl's achievement motivation were perceived academic competence, parental achievement pressure and perceived social competence. Important variables predicting boy's individual and social oriented achievement motivation were perceived academic competence and parental achievement pressure. On the other hand, important variables predicting girl's individual oriented achievement motivation were perceived social competence, perceived academic competence, intrinsic locus of control and parental achievement pressure.
