Design is an extremely critical and important for the prosperity and development of a corporation, and design for children's facilities can be said to be a critical factor not only from a commercial perspective but also one of the critical factors that can be beneficial to the physical, intellectual and emotional growth and development of children. To measure the economic value of publicly designed children's facilities established with the purpose of children's design education, this research study utilized the Contingent Valuation Method. This research study attempts to provide useful information for policy administrators on the usage of both publicly designed children's facilities with high use value and also high non-use value through economic value measurement. To achieve the objectives of this research, the Contingent Valuation Method that utilized both open-ended questions and also double-bounded dichotomous choice methodologies was used. The results of the pre-verification that used the open-ended questions results from 50 test subject participants and the double-bounded dichotomous choice methodology results from 530 test subject participants confirmed that the average annual per person expense was estimated to be KRW 12,463. The gross benefit amount figure estimated for all households in the nation was estimated to be about KRW 219 billion annually.
The purpose of the study was to simplify standard HACCP manual for improving the on-site applicability and increasing the implementation rate of HACCP program for small- and medium-sized dairy farms (SMDF). A survey was carried out in 32 SMDFs using a structured questionnaire. The results indicated that the number of workers had a positive correlation with HACCP certifications (p < 0.05). Most of HACCP non-certified farms (66.7%) were run by two workers with 40-60 cows and milking yields of 1,000-1,500 L per day. Major drawbacks for dairy farmers to implement current HACCP system were the difficulties in daily recording and facility management (40%). On the basis of the survey results, it was suggested that the development of on-site standard HACCP manual and user-friendly record chart with O/X checklist were the most urgent factors to increase HACCP implementation rate. In addition, the alternative third party service for microbial and chemical tests could also be accompanied for small-sized dairy farms.
Background: Korea has gradually expanded the coverage of medical care services in its national health insurance system. On April 1, 2018, it implemented a policy that expanded the coverage for an ultrasonography in the upper abdomen. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of the policy on the utilization of the ultrasonography in the upper abdomen in tertiary care hospitals. Methods: Using the dataset of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, we explored changes in the utilization of the ultrasonography in the upper abdomen in tertiary care hospitals from July 1, 2017 to November 30, 2018 through the difference-in-difference (DID) mixed-effects-model method. Facility factor, equipment factor and personnel factors, type of hospital, the total amount of medical care expenses, and geographic region were considered as control variables. Results: On average, the utilization of the ultrasonography in the upper abdomen increased by 228% after the coverage expansion policy. However, the results of DID mixed-effects-model method analysis showed that the utilization increased by 73%. As for the number of beds, the utilization was higher with a group of 844-930, 931-1,217, and 1,218 or greater compared with a group of 843 or fewer, while the utilization of the number of ultrasonic devices was lower with a group of 45-49 compared with a group of 44 or fewer. The utilization decreased with the number of interns and the number of nurse assistants. Besides, relative to Seoul, the utilization was lower in the other metro-cities and provinces. Conclusion: The coverage expansion policy in the national health insurance system increased service utilization among people. Future research needs to investigate the degree to which such coverage expansion policy reduces the unmet medical care needs among the deprived in Korea.

Marine pollution prevention manager system has been operated for the purpose of preventing marine pollution from ships and marine facilities in Korea. As a new "marine environment management act" replacing an old "marine pollution prevention act" had entered into force from January 20. 2008. the works and business of the education and training courses for marine pollution prevention manager are scheduled to transfer from KIMFT(Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology) and FHRDI(Fisheries Human Resource Development Institute) to KOEM(Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation) on January 1. 2011. The present state of the education and training for marine pollution prevention managers of marine facilities was surveyed and analyzed in order to prospect trainee demands for the education and training and to provide KOEM with basic data for establishing a new system for the education and training. The existing education and training courses of FHRDI for marine pollution prevention manager of marine facilities have been conducted as a regular course of 21 classes for 3 days. The average annual number of trainees in FHRDI for 6 years from 2003 to 2008 was 187 persons and the annual number of trainee was 202 persons in 2008. The trained demands for the education and training are expected to increase sooner or later, depending major factors such as the extension of fields and ranges for marine facilities and marine environment management business due to the enforcement of new "marine environment management act".

In the recent years, protected horticultural facilities have been modernized and glasshouses are also propagating in Korea, even most vegetables production are conducted in the traditional plastic houses covered with, for example, PVC film for just temperature keeping. It would limit the productivity and competitivity of the vegetable production industry without automatization and high quality year round production. A plant factory, aimed to produce vegetables in the limited areas, was initiated in Christensen farm, Denmark in 1957, and widely propagated in some developed countries. As it has the automatized system which enables to keep optimized environment conditions, it will be the best facility for high quality products as well as year round planned production. However, we have not even started the plant factory production. Since the plant factory is requiring lots of resources, besides plant cultivation technologies, such as environment control, automatic engineering and robotics, our approach to the development of plant factories should be minded on Practical Plant Factories considering our current farming practices and least capital needs rather than blindly employing the advanced technologies from developed countries. Thus, Korean plant factory development can be initiated with year round leaf vegetables production in NFT or DFT cultivation system instead of the moval bed system, in which aerial environment factors such as light, temperature, humidity and CO$_2$ concentration and root environment ones such as solution concentration, temperature, pH and water soluble oxygen shall be automatically controlled. And the seeding, seedling and transplanting operations shall be accomplished in the house entrance, and the harvesting and grading opreations shall be conducted in the house exit. For practical plant factories, environment control technologies including artificial light source, illumination and air conditioning, automatic management for nutrient solution and automatic production line of moval bed system, transplanting and harvest should be developed along with researches on the cost reduction of factory building construction.
This thesis in the social welfare-related institutions in the Seoul area, art therapy and the therapist based on the status of welfare-related agencies in the community of art therapy is to present possibilities and challenges. Research results presented by Health and Welfare, where seven of the 14 kinds of social welfare facilities, participate in the survey and the target organ, 45.1% of art therapy's role in social welfare-related institutions and gradually establish the location was the result. Art therapy is to conduct the current difficulties in institutions about the environmental factors related to a professional therapist and art therapist in the therapist's expansion as a major research and maintenance was network. Welfare-related agencies and community relationships we maintain mutual relationship, and are formed within the community have an effect on consciousness and collectivization. To provide the opportunity which realize the value in the art therapy by applying more to expand the variety of professional method. First, secure the facility of art therapy environment and the therapists. Second, if the art therapy association secures the integrated system, it makes a connection with professional therapists to improve recruitment environment in the art therapy community and therapists need to be addressed by all involved is a challenge. Third, a therapist for the duration of training in order to access a variety of academic and clinical research is the importance of the process of learning the training and supervision is to discuss the issue.

Earthquakes are almost impossible to predict and take place in a short time. In addition, there is little time to take aggressive action when an earthquake occurs. Therefore, there are more casualties and property damage than with other natural disasters. Recently, earthquakes have been occurring all over the world. As the number of earthquakes increase, studies on the safety of structures are being carried out. On the other hand, there are few studies on the electric facilities, which are relatively non - structural factors. Currently, electrical equipment in Korea is often not designed for earthquake safety and is quite vulnerable to damage when an earthquake occurs. Therefore, in this study, modeling was conducted through ABAQUS similar to an actual cabinet panel and 3D dynamic nonlinear analysis was performed using a natural seismic. According to seismic zone I and normal ground rock conditions of the power transmission and transmission facility seismic design practical guide, the maximum response acceleration of the performance level was 0.157g. In this study, however, it was not safe to reach the limit state of 30% of the analytical result at 0.1g for the general cabinet panel. From the results, the seismic fragility curve was derived and analyzed. The derived seismic fragility curve is presented as a quantitative basis for determining the limit state of the cabinet panel and can be utilized as basic data in related research.

This research focuses on the relationship between participation characteristics on exercise needs of swimming participants. To this end, our research efforts questioned adult swimmers with increasing partner, time, determined factor of participation evinced higher levels of exercise needs. The research targeted the current(2006) membership of an aquatic facility operating in the Busan Gwangyeok-Shi, both male and female were selected as 299 participants of the study. This research utilized a exercise needs survey developed by Byung Gi Lee's team(1989). The data was analyzed through Reliability, Frequency and the ANOVA method. The results of this study are as follows: First, Those who regularly swim with a partners and those who swim alone showed differences in their exhibitionist tendency levels. Second, Those who scheduled their swimming activities in the evenings showed more motivation to exercise than those who swim in the mornings or afternoons. Third, Determining factors in beginning an aquatic exercise routine were quality of facilities or instructors, and these participants showed a different level of desire to reduce stress and exhibitionist tendency levels.

This paper examined opportunities and limitations of building an innovation cluster based on large scale research facilities (LSRF). For this purpose, success factors of innovation clusters were drawn from the literature, and categorized into knowledge & technology, transaction cost & agglomeration economies, hardware & software infrastructure, and government policy & strategy. Utilizing the categorization as an analytic framework, case studies of CERN and SPring-8 were performed. The results showed that there were various innovation processes for both cases, creating opportunities for developing innovation clusters in terms of knowledge and technology. On the other hand, in the case of SPring-8, there were disadvantages in the transaction cost and agglomeration economies, being located in a remote area due to the nature of the facility. Software & hardware infrastructure of SPring-8 limited its potential for innovation clusters. Regarding government policy and strategy, CERN, as a multinational institution, did not consider an innovation cluster in a specific region despite some advantages. An innovation cluster around SPring-8 was promoted by government policy despite some disadvantages. In other words, the advantages and disadvantages were enhanced or complemented by software & hardware infrastructure and government policy & strategy. Based on the results, this paper provides the implications for the Korean International Science-Business Belt.

The goal of this study is to predict sexual violence crimes, which is an routine risk. The study used to the Weight of Evidence on sexual violence crimes that occurred in partly Cheongju-si for five years from 2011 to 2015. The results are as follows. First, application and analysis of the Weight of Evidence that considers the weight of evidence characteristics showed 8 out of total 26 evidences that are used for a sexual violence crimes risk prediction. The evidences were residential area, date of use permission for building, individual housing price, floor area ratio, number of basement floor, lot area, security light and recreational facility; which satisfied credibility in the process of calculating weight. Second, The weight calculated 8 evidences were combined to create the prediction map in the end. The map showed that 16.5% of sexual violence crimes probability occurs in 0.3㎢, which is 3.3% of the map. The area of probability of 34.5% is 1.8㎢, which is 19.0% of the map and the area of probability of 75.5% is 2.0㎢, which is 20.7% of the map. This study derived the probability of occurrence of sexual violence crime risk and environmental factors or conditions that could reduce it. Such results could be used as basic data for devising preemptive measures to minimize sexual violence, such as police activities to prevent crimes.
