Commercial sports facilities dissatisfy and have the problem in facility management and social institution when we compare with advanced nation. To develop commercial sports facilities, government must improve facility management ability and increase social institutional support. First, to improve facility management ability, government must make effort for instructor's treatment better, employment extension, strengthening of management and marketing ability, improvement of service quality and consumer satisfaction, facility's modernization. Second, to extend social institutional support, government have to make effort for cultivation and disposition of specialized human power, deregulation and institution improvement of sports facility, support extension of taxes and finance, establishing information network of sports facility. Finally, the main body of commercial sports facilities have to make progressive effort for improving facility management ability, and government have to make excellent social environment developing commercial sports facilities.
Currently, most procedures in domestic facility management systems are performed by hand. However, these manually operated facility management systems involve critical limitations, such as a waste of manpower to store collected data into a database, intentional or accidental loss of data consistency (mainly due to a lack of the ability to recognize and deal with frequent changes of facility status in realtime), and so on. To overcome the limitations of such manually operated facility management systems, the following capabilities must be supported. First, the changes in facility status must be recognized in realtime. Second, the data collection process must be secure and reliable to prevent fabrication of collected data and preserve data integrity. Third, the data collection devices must be portable to help the manager collect data about their facilities. To address these problems, we design and implement a novel facility management system using portable RFID, which is designed to support these functionalities and thus help reduce administrative costs. Through extensive experiments, we observed that our system improved the accuracy and reliability of facility check process and helped cut administrative costs by significantly reducing failure frequency.

Commercial deployment of nuclear microreactors presents an opportunity for the industry to rethink its approach to manufacturing, siting, operation and maintenance, and fuel cycle management as certain principles used in grid-scale nuclear projects are not applicable to a decentralized microreactor economy. The success of this nascent industry is dependent on its ability to reduce infrastructure, logistical, regulatory and lifecycle costs. A utility-like 'Central Facility' that consolidates the services required and responsibilities borne by vendors into one or a few centralized locations will be necessary to support the deployment of a fleet of microreactors. This paper discusses the requirements for a Central Facility, its implications on the cost structures of owners and suppliers of microreactors, and the impact of the facility for the broader microreactor industry. In addition, this paper discusses the pre-requisites for eligibility as well as the opportunities for a Central Facility host site. While there are many suitable locations for such a capability across the U.S., this paper considers a facility co-located with the Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant and Savannah River Sites to illustrate how a Central Facility can leverage the existing infrastructure and stimulate a local ecosystem.
This study was mainly done by factors analyzing to find out the structure and the dimension of the results of a previous study; analyzing the school and hospital dietitians'human attributes needed for successful job performance(Song 1998). The results were as follows: 1) Through factor analysis, the 12 knowledge items were categorized into 4 groups ; ‘basic knowledge of food and nutrition’, ‘knowledge of clinical nutrition and diet therapy’, ‘knowledge of medial science’, and ‘knowledge from experience and common sense’. These 4 knowledge factors were more frequently used and importantly recognized by hospital dietians compared with school dietitians. 2) The 38 skill and ability items were categorized into 7 groups ; ‘ability of program development and research’, ‘ability of counseling and nutrition education’, ‘ability of production control and facility management’, ‘ability to use computer’, ‘ability to cooperate with others’, ‘ability to manage consignment marketing’, and ‘ability of managing situations and informations’. Different skills and abilities were required for each group. 3) The 11 personality items were categorized as 3 groups ; ‘respoinsibility and sincerity’, ‘positive personality’, and ‘affirmative and inquisitive personality’.
This study identified the perception and coping ability of an emergency involving the elderly for facility directors in charge of services in long-term care facilities, and used it as basic data for developing educational programs and policy data for improving the ability of emergency facilities. The subjects were 192 directors of elderly care facilities and home care centers. Data were collected from March 15 to April 20, 2019 and analyzed using the SPSS WIN 25.0 program. Data analysis was performed using t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Scheffe, and multiple linear regression. The results revealed 97.4% of emergency experience, 6.16 points of emergency perception, and 62% of correct answers, and coping ability of an emergency was 69.61 ± 13.537. The negative correlation between emergency experience and ability to cope with emergencies(r=-.202, p= .005) was the long-term care facility type(β = 8.253, p<.001). Overall, an education program considering the type of long-term care facility is needed when applying emergency education for facility directors.

This study is to develop and operate the R-FCE(Real-time Fuzzy Control Expert System) model on the SBR(Sequency Batch Reactors) type sewage disposal facility which is for the environmental problem of future and the effective treatment. It is the system that regularly handles the input, output information in real time by the Fuzzy control IF-THEN rule. Nowadays the water pollution caused by the increase of population and the industrialization already exceeds the purifying ability of nature and is getting worse. The sewage disposal facility needs an expert having wide experience and know-how because the quality or quantity of inflow water is so irregular that the process of sewage disposal is difficult. In the nation, however, the accumulation of technology is so weak because field-operators avoid the long-term duty. So the accurate and speedy decision or control of field are difficult in the case of emergency situation.
This paper aims to derive the strategies for the container terminal in Pusan. So it has focused on analyzing the current conditions of Pusan container terminal while evaluating the difficulties arising from the existing facilities/equipment and the operating system in the Pusan Korea Container Terminal through the workers at the container terminal and at off-dock CY. The object of this study is to assist the existing terminals to operate the facilities/equipment reasonably and to contribute shaping the ports policy which will be the basis of constructing new ports that will remain competitive while maintaining superiority over the ports in northeast area. According to the analysis 68% of the supplier answered that their terminal services which are the most important factor in running a terminal were superior to the other while only 28% of the user answered that they thought the current services were superior. For the areas of supplementing the terminal the people working at the terminal answered in the order of business operation equipment the number of berth service and management ability while the user answered in the order of service computer system transportation system and equipment. According to the regression analysis it became clear that there should be more effort toward improving or supplementing the facility scale facility usage charge transportation facilities which will assist in developing competitiveness of the terminal. It was also noted that management ability and business ability were mentioned as the important factors in operating a terminal.
The purpose of this study is to measure the resource use of the elderly in long-term care services and to examine the effects of patient and facility characteristics on their use of resources. The data were collected from 510 old people over sixty years of age, residing in five long-term care hospitals and two skilled nursing homes during the period between December 1, 2000 and February 28, 2001. For a full sample, when the first level of RUG(Resource Use Group)-III categories were employed as the proxy of patient severity, facility characteristics, such as location, size and ownership, have large effects on the resource use measured by service intensity, whereas patient characteristics such as severity have little or no effect. The resource use is significantly high if the facility: (1) is located in rural areas (gun): (2) has mare than 200 beds; (3) is a long-term care hospital; (4) is private; and (5) has a low percentage of medical aid patients. The analysis of the resource use in each RUG-III categories, for which ADL(Ability of Daily Living) were employed as the prosy of patient severity, shows a similar result. The loose relationship between the needs of residents and the resource use seems to be closely associated with the ineffective reimbursement system for providers. The current reimbursement system has no provision for quality improvement and reimburses facilities simply according to their types: fee-for-service for long-term care hospitals, and monthly-flat-rate or full-coverage-national-aid for skilled nursing facilities. It will be necessary to develop a more reasonable reimbursement system that takes patient's severity into account and gives incentives for long-term care providers to offer cost-effective services.
The purpose of this study was to investigate workers' perception on the quality improvement of Korean restaurants for the globalization of Korean food. A total of 342 workers at Korean restaurants in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were surveyed using a self-administrated questionnaire. Excluding responses with significant missing data, 250 responses were used for data analysis. In terms of the improvement of service quality attributes, the 'sanitation management (4.51)' category received the highest score, followed by 'service skill (3.93)', 'menu development (3.90)', 'serving method (3.88)', 'facility and ambiance (3.84)', and 'food taste (3.40)'. There were significant differences of workers' perception on the improvement of service quality which were 'menu development (p<0.01)', 'service skill (p<0.001)', 'facility and ambiance (p<0.001)', and 'sanitation management (p<0.01)' by restaurant operation type, and 'service skill (p<0.001)' and 'facility and ambiance (p<0.001)' by workers' position. The mean score of each service quality category showed that Korean restaurants managed by a franchisor were ranked the highest. In each service quality category, the items which showed the highest scores for the improvement were 'developing the finest cuisine (4.08)', 'providing food seasoning according to customer requests (3.70)', 'proving ladles, tongs, and extra plates which enable customers to take as much food as they want (4.12)', 'staff's ability to explain menu (4.08)', 'using tableware appropriate to each dish (4.03)', 'sanitary management of the provided tableware (dishes, spoons and knives) (4.57)', and 'thorough toilet management (4.57)'. This research suggests that Korean restaurants need to improve service quality to globalize Korean food, and the strategies for service quality management should be developed to be applied to each restaurant operation type.
Objective : This study is an experimental study which is designed to examine the differences between knowledge and self-confidence before and after theory education(CPR PPT material) based on guidelines of CPR and emergency cardiac treatment of American Heart Association(AHA, 2005) and video self-instruction program for the general public by Korean Association of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(KACPR), trace CPR performance ability after CPR and AED education and investigate the accuracy of artificial respiration and chest compression, and know the difference in CPR performance abilities including AED. Methods : Subjects of this study include ground crews and staffs at M airport in G province equipped with emergency equipments for CPR according to Art. 47, Sec. 2 of Emergency Medical Law, airport police, rent-a-cops, security guard, quarantine officer, custom officer, and communication, electricity, civil engineering, facility management staff, airport fire fighting staff, air mechanic, traffic controller, and airport management team among airport facility management staffs. They were given explanation of necessity of research and 147 of 220 subjects who gave consent to this research but 73 who were absent from survey were excluded were used as subjects of this study. of 147 subjects, there were 102 men and 45 women. Results : 1) Knowledge score of CPR was $6.18{\pm}0.87$ before instruction and it was increased to $15.12{\pm}1.78$ after instruction, and there was statistically significant difference. 2) Self-confidence score in CPR was $3.16{\pm}0.96$ before instruction and it was increased to $7.05{\pm}0.75$ after instruction, and there was statistically significant difference. 3) Total average score in CPR performance ability after instruction was 7.46 out of 9, performance ability was highest in confirmation of response as 144(97.95%), follwed by request of help as 140(95.25%) and confirmation of respiration as 135(91.83%), and lowest in performing artificial respiration twice(gross elevation of chest) as 97(65.98%). Accuracy of artificial respiration(%) was $28.60{\pm}16.88$ and that of chest compression(%) was $73.10{\pm}22.16$. 4) Performance ability of AED after instruction showed proper performance in power on by 141(95.91%) and attaching pad by 135(91.83%), hand-off for analyzing rhythm showed 'accuracy' in 115(78.23%) and 'non-performance' in 32(21.77%), delivery of shock and hand-off confirmation showed 'accuracy' in 109(74.14%) and 'inaccuracy' in 38(25.86%), and beginning chest compression immediately after AED was done by 105(71.42%).
