The standard of performance-based seismic design accepted by Ministry of Construction and Transport requires to install and manage earthquake instruments for the facilities of seismic category I and to acquire earthquake response data of these facilities at earthquake events. So detailed standard and guideline for installation and management of earthquake instruments for each facilities according to the seismic design standard are getting ready. This paper presents the part of installation locations of sensors in that detaile standard and guideline.

After the twenty-first century, the university emphasize on the role of knowledge creation facilities, and for this, various social and educational requirements are changing the environment of higher education. These change makes university that has old facilities difficult to correspond environmental changes. The purpose of this study is to review the facilities manual of Establishment and Management of university and to suggest amendment of Establishment and Management of university by exploring the university educational environment and facilities plan to respond various changes. We reviewed division of university studies, classification system of facilities, Area Standard of building and site in th provision for university establishment and operation, based on studying domestic university facilities standards, space management standards, facilities condition of national/private university and doing a survey of university facilities satisfaction and propriety of facilities standard in 120 universities. According to this study on validity and propriety of rules, we suggest amendment of Establishment and Management of university that can respond changing higher education environment.

Electrical facilities of entertainment spaces become more complicate and bigger due to growing industry and economy. Therefore using only Technical standards for Electrical facilities of internal standard, we have some difficulty for management and installation of electrical facilities of entertainment spaces. So this paper gives a information which is applied to install the electrical facilities of entertainment space by analysing and comparing of internal and external standard.

This paper presents system of physical distribution module, and classification of logistics equipments. This study also introduces equipment standards of logistics facilities, and environmental rules for distribution center. Moreover, this paper shows safety standard and marking for logistics equipments and tools.

This study suggests how to classify owner's standard specifications in organizations such as local governments which place an order for constructing general and various types of facilities. And the principal conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows; first, the Standard Specifications for Seoul Metropolitan Government of for all facilities could be integrated by seven individual works. Second, it is advisable from a viewpoint of long term to draw up integrally owner's standard specifications by trade for facilities, rather than draw up by group of facilities. Third, editing integrated standard specifications for all trades to meet the unified work classification structure should be backed up by high technology, therefore owner's standard specifications by trades would be favorable to our situation.

In this study, we investigated and compared the standard of the present teaching tools & facilities in 16 cities and provinces. On the basis of this data, we suggested the standard of teaching tools & facilities according to the new curriculum. In the analysis of the present teaching tools & facilities, we divided the scope of facilities into 'the common one' and 'lab & practical room[common].' This study made it possible to easily recognize a facility by deleting a prep room from the names of facilities. Also, we prepared the standard plan for teaching tools by putting its focus on how to desirably manage the curriculum while giving the independence of a school to the maximum because of all sorts & great numbers of teaching tools.

This study was conducted to analyze the cost effectiveness in line with total phosphorus standard enforcement of public sewage treatment facilities. The additional cost for the total phosphorus removal process was calculated to analyze the cost effectiveness of the advanced water purification process. The analysis results showed that the T-P removal by coagulation sedimentation was more efficient than the advanced water purification facilities in terms of facilities investment cost, and if the coagulation filteration was used for T-P removal, the activated carbon process among the advanced water purification techniques was more efficient in terms of facilities investment cost. In this study, the effects of the T-P removal process that will be additionally introduced according to the tightening of the effluent T-P standard were analyzed within a limit. The actual benefits of improved T-P concentration in the water source will provide diverse values, including the leisure water, environment improvement water, eco-system in the water source and industrial water, in addition to the advanced water purification.

Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design(G-SEED) has been implemented for the realization of sustainable development and resource-saving and eco-friendly buildings from 2002. Studies about the green buildings are made actively and is being developed through constant revision. However, study results of green building have not been fully reflected in the standard. Therefore, this study analyzes the previous studies about G-SEED for school facilities and check the degree of to reflect the problems and improvements suggested in previous studies. This study will be a reference of future revision Substantial problems and requirements are not reflected in revision standard. Proposed improvement requirements are classed as to improve the items(establish specific standards, supplementation), strengthen standards(designate the prerequisite items), propose a new evaluation method, add new items. delete exist items and adjust the score. Therefore, future revision of G-SEED for school facilities should reflect the results of previous studies.

The purpose of this research is to study use method of mobile system for effective field management for urban facilities. GIS database could be standardized commonly useful for the site management of city facilities through standard list, standard items and standard specification appropriate for the mobile system, and this is effective to manage the city facilities on the site in real time.

Despite technological developments and application advances of Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs), no standard procedure has been adopted or accepted for calibration of ADCPs. Limitations of existing facilities for calibrating ADCPs, the complexity of ADCP instruments, and rapid changes in ADCP technology are some of the reasons why a standard procedure has not been adopted. However, there is increasing realization of the need for effective Quality Assurance (QA) and as part of that the importance of standardized calibration. In this study, the significance of calibration and QA plans for ADCPs is discussed and the calibration facilities for ADCPs at home and abroad are reported. Furthermore, the method for calibrating ADCPs using a towed car and its limitations are discussed. This study contributes to discussions surrounding the establishment of standard procedures for calibrating ADCPs and QA plans, and the construction of calibration facilities in the future.
