Contingent valuation method(hereafter CVM) is generally believed to be one of the most popular methods used for quantifying the value of non-market goods or services particularly by asking respondents of willingness to pay. This study deals with how to use CVM in calculating the value of mobile telephone service by suggesting methodology of estimation and eliminating biases. This study represents an attempt to estimate the WTP(Willingness To Pay) of the mobile telephone service using the face-to-face interview which is the qualitative technique is used. In this study, by using the single bound dichotomous choice model(SBDC) in order to analyze the valuation of mobile telephone service, WTP was estimated. Also we analyze the factors to pay for mobile service in which it becomes the important factor of demanding services. We used logit model. In order to provide robust estimates of WTP, we have used the Method of Montecarlo Simulation. Consequently, consumers showed that WTP about the mobile communications service is generally high. And it could know that the WTP will fell down as the specialized knowledge about the mobile communications frequency was high. It will be able to become the important part to not only the business carrier but also the policy maker to estimate the economic value of mobile telephone service.
As a medium for communication on science and technology, science museum could be important to adults who finished formal school education. By analysing all the exhibits at the National Science Museum and conducting a face-to-face interview survey toward 100 adult visitors, based on the PEP / IS model's perspective(Kim, 2007), this study aimed to find a way to induce many adults to visit science museum from the information consumer's viewpoint, not the information provider's one. The result was that most of the exhibits were not related to problems which people focused attention on. About half of visitors, therefore, did not relate their problems with exhibits and responded that there was no relationship between exhibits and their everyday life. However, they had an idea that science and technology could contribute to solving their problems. These findings could suggest that first, science exhibits in relation to people's focused problems or issues are to be developed, second, programs for parents who are accompanied by their children are to be developed, and last, adults' engagement in planning the science museum exhibits is to be considered.

Aging in place strategies such as residential remodeling have potential to enable older persons to remain in their own homes satisfactorily in terms of quality of life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the types of residential remodeling, needs, and opinions of elderly households living in Seoul and to suggest the housing policy and system for improving independent living of elderly households. Using face to face interview with structured questionnaire, 115 elderly households were interviewed during April $25{\sim}June$ 25, 2005. Most of respondents wanted to stay in their own homes as long as they can and some of them remodeled their houses to adapt their physical and financial conditions and housing needs. The purposes of this study are to estimate the economic value and reasonable entrance fee of the Yeido Park, which is under construction in Seoul, by conduct the face-to-face interview. A total of 645 daults were selected by two stage cluster sampling. The senario was designed to meet the requirements for doubgle-bounded dichotomous choice CVM, and distributed with the photograph to epict and compare the current and suggested conditions. A donation vehicle and entrance fee were utilized to find the possibility of strategic behaviors and protest zero, and to make the data estimatable tfor interval censored survival analysis. Date was calibrated by the survival analysis to eleminate the 'fat-tail problem'. Weibull distribution was assumed as a baseline distrubution. The mean WTP of donation and entrance fee was ₩5,281 and ₩783, respectively. The economic value of this park was determined by aggregating the mean value, giving a total WTP for the population of ₩36,861,645,000. This economic value was composed with the use value and existence value. The calibrationi of the Weibull proportional hazard model showed that nearness to the park, age, intention to isit the park, and educational attainment were significant independent variable to influence an amount of donation.
This paper is an effort to describe dietary behaviors to keep them healthy among adults. A probability sample was drawn from residents aged between 15 and 60 living in Ulsan City area through a multi-staged cluster sampling method. The data collected by face-to-face interview includes 1,232 respondents. Both univariate and bivariate analyses were employed to describe the dietary behaviors. Purpose: This study was to determine the mediator or moderator role of social support in the relationship between stress and depression among family caregivers of older adults with dementia. Method: Sixty nine family caregivers were randomly selected from health care centers in P city and a face-to-face interview was conducted using questionnaires from January to May of 2002. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression using SPSS program. Result: Family caregivers of older adults with higher dependency in ADLs and higher problematic behaviors, provided care to the older adults for a longer period of time, and perceived less social support reported higher depression. Social support showed mediating effects between stress and depression, while did not show moderating effects. Elderly dependency on ADLs and caregiving duration decreased perceived social support and decreased social support increased depression. Conclusion: To increase family and social support to the caregivers of more functionally impaired elderly, family education to increase emotional support and physical assistance to the caregivers and broader and flexible application of social support such as increasing accessibility to the elderly daycare service with lower price may prove beneficial.

Sexually abused victims suffer not only physical damage, but they may also experience an array of additional problems ranging from acute fear, depressed mood, anxiety, shame, or insomnia to long-term psychiatric disorders. Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is known to have excellent therapeutic effects for trauma victims including victims of sexual violence. CBT treatment includes stress immunity training, relaxation training, and acceptance and commitment therapy. In foreign countries TF-CBT is carried out online in order to increase the therapeutic accessibility for the victim and improve the quality of the interview for the therapists. As a result, those victims who have difficulties in requesting external help, who live in remote areas, or who have limited time may now have access to the service and benefit from the online education programs. A website providing an online based TF-CBT program was initiated in Korea also. Through the website, victims and their guardians may obtain therapeutic information without the need for face-to-face meetings with therapists. Our goal is to create a system with this website which will provide therapeutic assistance to sexual violence victims and improve the quality of the counseling provided by the therapist.
